monday's child legacy challenge

judging by the influx of addams on the gallery lately, by now i'm sure ~everyone~ has seen the new WEDNESDAY series.. i loved seeing all the creations, be it households, builds or cc - but what i was inspired to do was create my first game challenge; it's not particularly inspiring and i'm unsure if it's doable at all, i suspect i'm mostly putting it on proverbial paper to direct this nursery rhyme somewhere concrete, since it insists on lingering in my mind

i know in the ocean of challenges there is a days-of-the-week challenge already but i don't think their similiar, feel free to check for yourself

i considered making GEN 1:MONDAY > GEN2:MONDAY'S-CHILD/TUESDAY and so on, to extend it to one more generation, but prefered to keep it faithful to it's origins instead

NOTES this hasn't been play tested - yet ; so for now I sugest playing at the normal or long time span - change it with mccc if you'd like, the goal is to have fun, even tho it's a challenge i really have no concept of how doable it was designed to be since i usually drag out my sims lifes for pretty long

What are some of the favorite kinds of outfits that the characters wear? In and out of little space

when he's big, billy is a firm believer in jeans and a button-down shirt.

only on his more casual days does he wear t-shirts, usually band ones and the occasional hawkins high t-shirt.

he's a boots guy mostly, unless he's doing a lot of walking, then he'll wear converse hi-tops.

big billy won't be caught with his hair up unless he's at the garage. he works too damn hard on his hair for it to be trapped in an elastic!

on the other hand, little billy loves athletic shorts and tennis shoes.

he wears nothing but soft t-shirts, and during the warmer months, stevie's lucky if he can get a t-shirt on billy at all!

a lot of the time he wanders around the house shirtless

on that note, stevie can tell when billy's having a bad self-esteem day though, because billy will try to cover the scars on his torso with shirts when he's little

some days it doesn't bother billy, so when billy wanders down the stairs with a t-shirt on but complaining about being hot, stevie simply offers to turn the fan on and put billy's hair up because he knows why billy's wearing a shirt

robin loves piecing together outfits based on items she picks up thrifting with her mom

big robin often will wear button downs and vests, cool pants, and a funky pair of shoes

steve can count on one hand the amount of times he's seen robin wear the same pair of shoes -- she seems to have a few select favorites, but otherwise its a new pair every day just about

on her more casual days, she's notorious for showing up to family video in a shirt that gives steve pause, only for him to eventually ask, "is that mine?"

more often than not, robin gives him a shit eating grin and shrugs, saying, "i don't know! found it in my closet this morning."

little robin loves graphic t-shirts, mostly my little pony, carebears, and disney.

the only time robin wears shorts is when she's little, because its a lot easier to run and crawl around without fabric all around her legs!

they're usually denim pull-on shorts, without buttons or zippers because that's just too much work.

socks and sneakers are her shoes of choice as a little. the pair nancy got her for christmas was once bright white, but is now covered in grass stains and mud from her running around the yard

when she's dropped, nancy will either pin robin's hair back with barrettes or slide a headband into robin's hair to keep her hair out of her eyes.

robin refuses pony tails whether she's big or little -- they give her headaches.

big eddie wears ripped dark jeans almost exclusively. he has a few select pairs of jeans he saves for important days -- like job interviews and graduation. these jeans are still dark but lack holes, because that's more socially acceptable or whatever

band t-shirts and hellfire shirts are all he ever wears. he has like ten shirts that are his top favorites that he rotates in and out, but every now and again he pulls out a new one, much to everyone's surprise.

for a guy that doesn't do a whole lot of "sports things" he lives in tennis shoes. swears they're more comfortable than anything else he owns

though he is very well known for not actually tying his shoes, but instead shoving the laces into the shoe and pretending its not a problem.

little eddie often wears sweatpants or his ripped jeans (when he's feeling a bit bigger)

he trades his band t-shirts for just plain colored t-shirts, usually white or red. he has a handful of the same color shirts so that he doesn't have to think about what he wears, it's just kind of there.

wayne constantly battles with little eddie to let him tie the boys shoes. "you run around too much to have loose shoes, rascal" wayne insists.

usually there's some kind of bribery to get eddie to let wayne tie his shoes, and wayne's gotten pretty good at it

usually when eddie's little, his hair is pushed out of his face with a bandana or on the rare occasion he wants to match billy, he lets steve pull it back with an elastic. those days are very rare though, and usually only when billy requests it.

Character: Lana Curtis

A. What was the inspiration for your character? At first, in her orginal verse, she was lightly inspired by a character from a show I saw. A girl that turned out to be an alien robot but lived her first 8 years thinking she was human. From that idea as a base I took it and changed it around to a girl on the run knowing what she was but not wanting to hurt humans. Then she moved to a fully human kind of story for a more flexible main verse (after a stent of a human built android) all those verses and more are still available

B. How/why did you pick the name that you did for your character? I don't remember I think I just heard it/found it and it stuck.

C. How/why did you pick the birthday for your character? Almost all my muses I just roll randomly for their birthday so I put 1-12 into a list randomizer and from there whatever month it gives me I run it again with the number of days for that given month. Lana's rolls landed on 5-24. May 24th.

D. What is your character’s full name? Lana Margaret Curtis

E. When is your character’s birthday? What is their zodiac sign? How old is your character?

May 24th. Verse dependent: 2014. She is 7 by default. She is a Gemini.

F. What is the meaning behind your URL? What was your inspiration for the name? A lot of the characters here are members of the Anderson family. Hence this blog is their home. It's the Anderson residence.

G. Was this your first pick for a URL? Technically, yes. For this multimuse but a few muses came from other single blogs if you want to count that?

H. Have your change your URL? Would you ever change your URL?

Lana is a very small little thing at only 3ft 6in!

J. How much does your character weigh? 43 pounds

K. Does your character like their name?

Her first name, yeah. But her middle and last name reminds her of Sarah. She doesn't like Sarah.

L. Does your character go by any nicknames?

She was called Lana-Banana in two different verses by teo different dads! It's a good one. She likes it enough. Makes her giggle. Lan is another option.

M. What is the highest level of education your character has officially received?

She's a child, only in elementary. She is in 3rd currently.

N. What is your character’s current job? What is your character’s dream job?

Currently that would be none or elementary student depending how you look at it. Dream job if you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up is "a baby doctor that pulls babies out of mamas"

O. What is your character’s favorite color?

She loves anything purple but can go for a good pink too.

P. What is your character’s favorite number/lucky number?

12 don't ask her why she doesn't know. She just likes it.

Q. What are some hobbies your character has?

Playing in the dirt and mud, drawing, coloring, crafting, dress up, pretend. I roleplay someone roleplaying

R. Where does your character live? And with who?

Detroit. It varies by verse. Main/default is my other muse Sarah. But she also has verses where she lives with Hank or Niles. And of course the verses with my friends ya'lls muses all are ready to adopt her or already have so she lives with her adoptive parents too.

S. Where is your character from?

Heavily verse depending. Ranges from Michigan, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland. A little bit of all over she was seemingly born. But she was raised in Detroit mostly.

T. Does your character have a face claim? if so who? How/why did you pick this face claim?

Alana Mansour. No the fc name did not affect the muse name lol it just worked out that way. And I was just looking through a face claim index when I came across her at it just fit for the age/gender I was planning for this muse. There wasn't a lot of options with icons ready. I wanted at least some for myself but didn't want to make them all at the time.

U.Does your character have a voice claim? if so who? Is it the same or different than their face claim? How/why did your pick their voice claim? Describe their voice.

It is difficult from her face claim because of where her fc was born and raised she has a lovely accent that Lana wouldn't have been from where she is. Alexa Swanson is Lana's voice claim. I was watching a show with her in it and it just clicked with me, it was what I already had heard for her when writing Lana.

V. If your character was real what would they be doing right now?

I would hope Lana would be in bed. It's 11:20 pm rn as I write this. Too late for a little kid.

W. What time does your character go to bed?

8:30 pm about, that is when Niles sends her to bed. Sarah doesn't give her one per se but will demand her to go away at some point yikes. I'm sure the answer would be different for all her adoptive parents too.

X. What is your character’s bedtime routine?

She doesn't have any solid routine when she was with Sarah, its usually a mad rush to get out of sight. But otherwise she's the type to brush hair and teeth and bathe all before bed. She likes to do a little prayer even though she wasn't raised, in any verse, for any religious upbringing but she saw kids do it in books and on tv. It feels right. It helps her feel better sometimes. She doesn't know what she's doing or what to say but she gets to her knees, folds her little hands, closes her eyes and asks God if she can meet an angel to protect her from Sarah.

Y. What time does your character wake up?

Depending on the time of year and if it's a school day or not she generally is up too early for her age but she needs to get ready for school early and doesn't like to be late.

Z. What is your character’s morning routine?

Similarly, to her bedtime routine she brushes her teeth and hair, changes outfits, and gives a small prayer for the day.

Girl I LOVE YOUUU!!! It was so nice having her back again 😭😭😭😭😭😭. She had to make some difficult decisions and some she may have made wrong but she's still grown so much and is continuing to grow, even right in front of our eyes :')). Also so glad she got to see Audrey again 😭😭😭. They went through some rough patches this episode but I love their friendship so much :')). Oh little sun, I don't 'point fingers to start conflict'. There will always be conflict, don't forget that humans are fickle creatures. And fickle creatures are corruptible. I create conflict by pointing out flaws of which that you stupid little creatures are simply incapable of noticing.

As for your little self positive message, it's a little hard to keep everyone safe if you aren't willing to get good.

A stupid answer would be that I enjoy your suffering. But it's not that simple. There is beauty to your pain, art in your rage, it is a feast for the eyes to watch you struggle to get up only to crumble back down. I'm sure I can get that from anyone, but you my dear buttercup, are special. You bring such light, such a new inspiration for me.
