If anyone would like to help an indigenous queer person, hey! I need it!! My family and I have been homeless since December, we've stayed at hotels for a good majority of this year, and have had to make a lot of sacrifices. I have reached out for help a lot, and I am very grateful for the help I've received.
Right now me and my family are pretty much camping, but with some resources, we can charge our phones and such, but the bathroom, and showering is outside, cooking outside, pretty much everything is outside apart from sleeping and our clothes.
We had to get rid of a lot of our food yesterday because it spoiled being out in the sun, we couldn't refrigerate it. It was a long day trying to come up with money to have shelter, we pulled through, but now we hardly have any food.
I'm going to point to our official fundraiser, I will say it takes a few days to reach us, so if you want to immediately help us, I'll point to other links that will help us.

Right now our priorities are food and transportation. A lot of our food needed to be refrigerated and unfortunately yesterday it sat out in the sun and we had to throw it out. And we don't have any money to pay for more.
And this heat is killing us, we'll walk if we need to, but without a wagon or some sort of cart, and in this weather, it's absolutely killing us. And there's other things we need to do, we're trying to get our business in order.
We absolutely understand not everyone can help, but sharing helps out a ton! We appreciate any and everything you can help.
says they don't have a 'problem' with y/n fics and keeps complaining about them anyway
I've already explained myself multiple times on this topic, anon.
The problem was never that people are writing "x reader" or "y/n" fics. The problem is that people keep overflooding character/show tags with untagged or overly convoluted variations of the same tags to the point where it's impossible to go to certain fandoms without endlessly scrolling past these posts for literally anything else.
You can do your utmost best to filter and block as many tags/blogs as possible and you'll still be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of x reader and y/n posts.
If you don't believe me, just try doing what I did and go to the Bucky Barnes, The Last of Us, or literally anything related to Pedro Pascal tags. It's never ending.
I have bronchitis, and my mother (mind you, I'm almost 30) was like "make sure you spend as much time standing and walking as possible. I know you can't breathe, but resting when you have bronchitis is how you get pneumonia or RSV" and I was just like "No."
Because that's literally Not How That Works. Not that I'm surprised; she's also disabled but doesn't believe in resting, so she just powers through anything and everything. It would be impressive, if it wasn't sad. (She's like a "not like the other X" but for disabled people). You'd think all the times she's be ill or had surgery and refused to rest and recover like the doctors said and made herself worse would have taught her a lesson by now, but nope.
So to all the other spoonies out there... don't be like my mother. Rest if you need it.
(Also, RSV is a specific species of virus, like the flu.)
I am not one to get involved in dramas / discourse / whatever you want to call it and I usually try to stay away from it
But seeing people indirectly try to expose us for "heteronormativity" just for calling Kyle a mom or whatever is being a like, weird, annoying to a certain extent. I never thought a simpsons gag and a dumb comic I came up with at 2:00 am on my phone would be enough to make us disgusting people and seemingly exclude us from being both gay guys, lol
