Okay so I have seen quite a number of terrible takes on tumblr — particularly fandom takes.

One of the worse fandom takes I’ve seen involves something about Aang being the “worse” character how he sucked and was considerably awful. I forgot the specific details of the post other than how much it just kept ripping at Aang for no reason other than just to hate on a character that was written as a 12 year old pacifist.

There was also one particular take I have seen that involves nothing relating to fandom but more so Age-Regression/Agere and kinks.

This was an oddly specific one I came across while scrolling through a blog and it went:

“stop appropriating BDSM and kinks and fetishes!1!1!” “there’s no such thing as “Safe for Work Age Regression!!” when talking about Age regression.

In my mind, I felt as thought all my braincells just died reading it.

See, what people need to understand is that there’s a difference between age regression (voluntarily or involuntarily) and fucking a.ge play/ABDL.

If anything, it was probably one of the most narrow-minded I’ve seen from people. Like I don’t expect everyone IRL to understand age regression and age play, but still.

I have never heard more of a stupider take in my life so far.
