cant find the reply button and am not sure there is one so :/ back here lmao and I was just curious and yay :) 11th doctor is my favourite lmao, so basically its female reader and the reader is a timelord(lady) but she doesn't know it until she gets injured/nearly killed but then, ofc, she doesn't die (sorry if that was awful, my ideas are never very good)
A/N: I love this idea! I’ve always been a fan of Timelord!/Timelady!Readers! And thank you for the request! I hope you enjoy it!!!💜
Long Lost Love
Eleventh Doctor x Reader
Summary:  The Reader always felt a strange connection to The Doctor, but it's unbelievable how connected the two of you truly are until the truth is revealed.
Warnings: bodily injury, near character death

You fiddled with your necklace out of nervousness. You don’t remember buying it, but it always offered you comfort. It was a gold chain with two gold bands, one appearing to be for a man’s finger, the other for a woman, and another gold band that was topped with a large, perfectly cut red gem, and a gold locket you had never opened completed the necklace. You, The Doctor and Clara were locked within a store room after being chased into it by a creature not even The Doctor had heard of. He jumped and paced around the room excitedly, vibrantly detailing his interest in this new creature. Clara followed him, engaging in banter and interest over the creature who chased the three of you around the abandoned warehouse. You could only sit and lean against a wall, tap your foot nervously and play with your jewelry.
You heard voices, but you just assumed that it was The Doctor and Clara playing off of each other. They got along very well. You weren’t jealous, though. Well, actually, you were, but you told yourself that you weren’t. Clara had told you on multiple occasions that The Doctor liked you more than just any old companion he picked up out of nowhere and that you should make a move because The Doctor surely wasn’t going to, but you called her insane every time she said it. The Doctor’s voice drew you out of your worries, however. He knelt reassuringly before you, forearms resting on his bent knees, head tilted to the side and eyes creased with worry.
“Are you alright?” You quickly tucked your necklace back into your shirt and nodded your head. The Doctor asked if he could sit beside you and you nodded again. The Doctor readjusted to leaning against the wall you were leaning on and looked on at you as you watched Clara organise some barriers and torches and non lethal weapons. “What’s bothering you, Y/N? And please tell me the truth, so I can help you.” His voice was quieter this time, like he was actually concerned about your feelings. Maybe Clara was right, maybe The Doctor did care for you.
“It’s just, you don’t know this creature, Doctor. You don’t know what it will do. You don’t know what it wants. What if one of us gets hurt?” The Doctor reached his arm around your shoulders and pulled you into his side and placed a swift kiss to your forehead.
“Nothing wrong is going to happen, Y/N. We will negotiate with the creature, get out of here safely, and help them with anything they need. No one will get hurt, especially you, Y/N. Nothing will hurt you in this adventure or any other.” You were about to look at him in the eye to see if he was serious or just trying to calm your worry, but a loud growl emanating from outside the room alerted you, The Doctor and Clara to the threat of the creature again.
The Doctor jumped to his feet, then quickly pulled you up on your’s.  He grabbed your hand and ushered Clara over and took her hand as well, leading the pair of you to the center of the room. With your hands clasped tightly, the three of you walking in a circle, trying to follow the noises the creature was making around the room.
“Okay, so it seems that the creature has found us.”The Doctor thought out loud.
“Really? What gave you that idea, Doctor?” Clara quickly snapped.
“How are we going to get out of this, Doctor?” You didn’t have enough energy to deal with their banter now that the creature returned, and you could tell that The Doctor could feel your anxieties.
“Right, if we time this right - which we will - then we will run straight through that main hallway directly to the TARDIS. Then I will zap us out of here, quick, easy, and safe.” You knew that if The Doctor wasn’t holding your’s and Clara’s hands he would have clapped his hands together and snapped his fingers into finger guns. At least he was confident, without that characteristic in this moment, you didn’t think that you would be able to make it safely back to the TARDIS. The three of you heard the creature throw something opposite the main hallway door, meaning this was your chance. The three of you ran in that direction, Clara threw open the door, and you were off running toward the TARDIS. You could hear the creature clawing after the three of you, but you didn’t want to think about it.
When you were running, you couldn’t stop your mind from wandering to anything other than the current circumstances you were in. You thought of The Doctor. You didn’t have any family back home and you had very few memories from your childhood, most of your memories became clear when you were an older teenager still living in an adoption agency, then you found The Doctor. You clearest memories were with him. He was very secretive about his past. You could see how much it hurt him to discuss it, let alone think about it. You knew that that’s one of the reasons why he centered himself around young people, especially humans, they had less baggage in his eyes and were always so interested in seeing something new. But you could also see the pain in his eyes at the thought of being alone. Despite his discomfort when talking about his past, The Doctor told you certain things about his culture and his people after he saw how brightly your face lit up when you were given the opportunity to learn about an alien species.
You had never really felt human, as a young girl you were always made fun of for being weird and just not fitting in and how you would always look to the stars as if you were waiting for something or someone. This hobby of staring out into space continued into your adulthood. One of your friends, which you gained once exiting the cruel environment of secondary school and the adoption system, even gifted you a rather expensive telescope. Which is actually how met The Doctor, staring out into until you randomly saw a blue police box floating through the night sky.
You could feel the creature growing closer to you as you drifted away from The Doctor and Clara. You wondered why The Doctor even kept you around. You didn’t think that you were particularly bright, or confident, or pretty. You thought that maybe he secretly liked the fact that you asked about his past, showing him that you appreciate him more than just a glorified tour guide. Or maybe because you did tell him off for his ego and the questionable moments of his past, like when he ran away with his TARDIS, leaving his wife and children behind on a war torn planet.
You rounded the corner, the creature nipping at your heels. You saw The Doctor and Clara safely inside the TARDIS, both of them having been faster than you. Just as you were about to grab The Doctor’s outstretched hand, as he leaned out of the TARDIS doors for you, the creature grabbed you by your ankle and pulled you back into the depse of the maze. You reached out trying to find anything to grab onto, but every stray branch or upturned stone broke away by the force of the creature dragging up away.
You were eventually quickly pulled through an open door, the creature not caring that its quick movement caused you to brutally ram into the frame. With the wind knocked out of your lungs, the creature flung you across the room you had just entered until you rolled up against the nearest wall. You could feel the cuts and scrapes and bruises that littered your body, you could even feel the nails that you broke to the quik when you were attempting to find something to grab onto to stop your captor’s movements, and you could feel the pain in your ribs from being rammed into the door frame.
You heard footsteps running down the hallway you were once in. A brief fire of hope grew inside you at the thought of The Doctor rescuing you from your fate, but your hopes were quickly dashed when the creature grabbed you by your ankles again. He dragged you and pinned you down in the middle of the room, his cold, large, scaly hand pressing down on your chest.
“Let her go! It's me you want! Let her go and I’m all yours.” You could see from your position on the floor that The Doctor outstretched his arms when he spoke, settling both for dramatics and to show the creature that he wasn’t armed.
“That’s the point of this, Doctor. I’m using this weak Human to get to you.” The creature pressed its weight further down upon your chest, causing you to lose your breath again.
“Just let her go, and then we can help you. You don’t need to hurt anyone to get what you want. We can just talk.” The Doctor tried to creep forward, with his hands outstretched in front of him in a pleading manner.
“The time for talking is over, Doctor. All I want is to enact my revenge on you for destroying my home and my people!” Before The Doctor could calm the creature down, it brought its other hand up before slicing one of its tallongs across your neck. Blood burst from your neck, spraying the creatures’s chest, but it didn’t seem to mind. You reached up to cover your neck, but also to look for your necklace. If you were going to die, you wanted your main coping mechanism in your hand. But you reached around as much as you could and you couldn't find it.
Clara had snuck up behind the creature while The Doctor was talking and was able to hit him over the head with a heavy plank of wood, knocking it out. The Doctor rushed to your side and placed his hand on your neck as well, partially covering your hand, but blood continued to pour out of you. You could barely speak, but you tried to ask for your necklace. Once The Doctor understood what you were saying, he demanded for Clara to search for your necklace while he tried to stop you from bleeding.
His eyes never left yours and your eyes never left his. It was a bit late, given the circumstances, but you could see that he had flecks of grey and brown scattered within his green eyes. Clara quickly ran to your side having finally found your necklace, the chain now broken. She handed it to The Doctor and began whispering positive statements like The Doctor had. Clara tried to gain reassurance from The Doctor, but he had grown silent. Your vision was starting to blur, but you could see him inspecting your necklace, more tears falling from all of your faces.
“How long have you had this?” He whispered, not caring that his voice cracked. You were losing all senses of reality, but you managed to mouth ‘as long as I could remember.”
“Have you ever opened the locket?” You shook your head no. The Doctor leaned down and placed a tearful kiss to your forehead before saying, “Whoever you are, we will work through everything that happened.” You had no idea what he was referring to, but before you could try to question him, The Doctor opened your locket. A bright and breathtaking yellowy-orange light emitted from the locket. It floated like fire toward you. You tried to move away from it, but The Doctor kept you in place. The fiery light suddenly rushed into your wound and your mouth, causing you to convulse in pain. You felt your wounds grow hot, like you were being burned, until they cooled down to the point where it felt like nothing had happened to you, all the while a drumbeat of four knocks kept echoing in your ears.
You shot up taking in your first clear breath since you were first chased by the creature. You stood still for a moment, grounding yourself, while putting a hand over your chest becoming accustomed to the double heartbeat pounding in your chest. You looked over your body, it looked different than you remembered it, then memories came rushing back to you. Faces, bodies, planets, the time vortex, children, grandchildren, Theta! You remembered it all, and you had to find Theta! You quickly turned around to see him, the person you had waited so long to see, staring back and forth between you and your broken necklace, which he was gently holding in his hands.
“Theta!”
“Y/N!” He kept fondling your necklace. You tried to stand, but were still weak from the attack and the recovery of your true memories This caused The Doctor to lunge forward and hold you in place, “Don’t move. You're still hurt.”
“Theta, I’m fine. I just need some help to stand.” You reached up for The Doctor and Clara to help you, but The Doctor placed both of your hands in his before resting his forehead against yours and whispered.
“Y/N! Is it really you?! I thought you just had the same name, I didn’t think that you were the same person!” You smiled at his boyish demeanor.
“It's really me, Theta. It's really me.”
“How did you get here?” His eyes were wide with disbelief.
“Our children sent me away to try and find you and Susan in the final days of the war. I guess their calculations got a bit screwed. Ad of course, they had to hide me away from Rassilon.”
“I don't mean to interrupt this moment,” Clara’s surprised but stern voice rose from behind you and The Doctor, “but one, what's going on, two, what are we going to do about the creature?”
“Right, umm … Both of you, go back to the TARDIS. I will handle the creature.” You instantly argued, causing The Doctor to question you.
“There is no need to be overly heroic, Theta, just section off a bit of TARDIS energy and create a one time teleport over the creature and send it back to its home planet. SImple and easy, no heroic, possibly dangerous, grand gestures necessary.” The Doctor mumbled to himself, before begrudgingly helping you, along with Clara, back to the TARDIS. They helped you into your room, along with some help from the TARDIS who shortened the trip. Then The Doctor left you with Clara to deal with the creature. She stared at you for a few moments, she noticed how you held yourself differently, you stood taller with your shoulders squared and you no longer had a hidden confusion locked in your eyes. The confusion was replaced with a deep sadness, like the sadness housed in the corners of The Doctor’s eyes. She finally spoke when you looked in her direction.
“What was all of that back there, Y/N?” She seemed worried, but not scared. She was comforted by the fact that The Doctor seemed to know what happened to you.
“It was me discovering who I really am.” You and Clara continued to talk, her eventually sitting beside you on your bed. You explained what The Doctor never had about Gallifreyans, how they can lock away their memories, regeneration energy, and being in order to hide. You explained the Time Wars, how The Doctor ran away from Gallifrey, how you left to find him and had to hide in order for Rassilon to not discover where you had escaped to. You and your true family knew that Rassilon would use you to find The Doctor. And you explained how all of your memories of being a Timelady were hidden away within your locket and when it was opened they all came flooding back to you. Before, you continued, you believed that you were human, certain things didn’t make sense, but a story was created in your mind to make your life as a human convincing.
“And what about the other items on the necklace? How do you know The Doctor?” She knew that there was a deep relationship between the two of you, that was probably what she was seeing when you still believed yourself to be human.
“I’m his wife, Clara, from back on Gallifrey. Knowing The Doctor, he’s probably been involved with other people, but I will have to discuss that with him later.”
“I don’t quite understand all of this.” Suddenly you heard a knock from your door, and The Doctor appeared, he looked regretful and solemn.
“Clara, can I talk to Y/N alone please? We can explain anything you want later.” Clara nodded and squeezed your hand before leaving your room. The Doctor kept staring at his feet, occasionally looking up at you, but not for long. He slowly and quietly closed the door before shuffling over to where Clara was previously sitting.
“How’s your head?” He eventually spoke after a short silence.
“It still hurts. I can feel my heartbeats radiating through my skull, and I feel like I have to sneeze.”
“Those are all normal symptoms. They will go away in a couple of hours to days. Tell me if they last longer than a week, though.” You nodded, then the two of you fell into a slightly awkward, slightly uncomfortable silence, but The Doctor broke first.
“I’ve missed you so much, Y/N! I've been so reckless without you!” Tears began falling from his eyes and you couldn’t help but reach out your arms for him to fall into them. He fell into you and you wrapped your arms around him, one of your hands combing through his hair, the other massaging his back. He kept crying that he was sorry, and once you calmed him down, you asked him what he was sorry about.
“I left you behind, I didn’t look for you, and I sought you out as my companion because I thought you reminded me of your previous regeneration. I was so blind, Y/N!” He held you tighter, burying his head in the crook of your neck. When you felt him getting worked up again, you untangled your bodies and placed your hands on either side of The Doctor’s face to make him look at you.
“Theta, Theta, look at me. We will get through this. Of course I’m upset, but the most important thing is that we are back together. We will get through this, Theta.”
“How do you know that, Y/N?” He looked so sad and defeated by his previous action.
“Because you are my husband. And I will always love you.” You removed your hand from The Doctor’s face and removed your broken necklace from your pocket that Clara had handed back to you when you were talking, and took the large gold band off of the chain. You picked up The Doctor’s left hand and put the band on his ring finger.
“I can’t believe it still fits.” The two of you giggled at that, it was definitely strange for that occurrence to be present.
“I guess that it was just meant to be.” The Doctor smiled brightly for the first time since he discovered how you really were and removed the smaller gold band and the ring with the red gem and placed them on the ring finger of your left hand. He leant down to kiss your hand before staring into your eyes deeply and holding your hands tightly, circling his thumb on your skin.
“I love you, Y/N.”
“And I love you, Theta.” You and The Doctor both leant in and kissed passionately, moving to hold each other tightly, excited for what your reunion would entail. Of course it would be difficult, but you both knew that the two of you needed each other to combat the traumas Gallifrey caused, and you both knew that you, truly, needed each other to be happy.

Objectsexuality/Objectphilia Part 1
Eli: Hi, I hope this is OK, but I friended you because I was curious to ask about your husband after you mentioned your relationship in the group.
I have tried to look this up on forums etc but it seems that there is not a good platform for people to discuss objectsexuality/objectphilia without trolls coming in and spoiling it
If you prefer not to be "interviewed" by a stranger, I totally understand!
Sacha: No its totally ok ive been waiting i replies to your comment the other day must not have seen it....i like being interviewed actually it gives someone a chance to learn from me not some news story...im heading to work but feel free to message me any questions and ill answer when im free....know ahead my work schedule is all ocer the place so if it takes awhile im not ignoring you.....have awesome day thanks for genuine interest this  is rare
Eli: Okay, awesome!!! I have a weird work schedule too so I totally understand. I'll try to think of the questions I want to ask and just reply whenever you feel like it. Maybe since you want people to know about it I could post the convo anonymously (or not anonymously, whatever you want) on tumblr or something... Or maybe a summary or something... I have encounters like this a lot where people want to show some aspect of them that is often misrepresented, and there's no place to do so... maybe I should start a tumblr for just those kinds of interviews. But otoh if you want to keep it just between us that's fine too.
I have been curious about objectsexuality/philia for a long time since I heard it mentioned in a documentary, but they only showed the lady and her hubs for like 1 second and didn't treat it very well imo.
Sacha: Feel free to share i like to think im a modern day teacher representing us i e done interviews with a board of psychologists before too...all i ask is an open mind
Eli: And also my [redacted-- interpersonal relationship type]'s other partner was a [redacted-- object].
Sacha: =)
Awesome
Eli: Haha @ board of psychologists, good for them but that's kind of funny to me in a way. Were you there for a different reason or just because they were doing research on sexuality/relationships?
Sacha: This is hubby
Tumblr media
Eli: How big is he?
Sacha: They just wanted to learn
Eli: (Do you use male pronouns for your husband?)
Sacha: Hes about. Nine inches tall...i call him he but see him as duel sex in Dr who the matrix(inner workings or heart) of the tardis (timema hine) is female so the outside is male with female characteristics
Eli: Someone once interviewed me for their doctoral thesis on people who have [redacted-- gory historical event] as a special interest (it's my main special interest). Apparently there are lots of us. Other than that, haven't had much chance to be psychologically interviewed even though I was inpatient for psych.
(Hope that doesn't sound scary haha, I'm a pacifist. Just interested in the psychology.)
(And like, the events. Like WWII people.)
Sacha: Thats when i was interviewed i have had five inpatient stays....one of which diagnose me aspie...i also have four other mental illnesses
Im heading out ill respond when i can so go ahead and send stuff as you think of it you wont bother or offend me
Have good day
Eli: I have [redacted-- list of physical and mental diagnoses].
Partners-wise, I am in a poly family. I have two human partners (one cis male and one ftm), and one of them (my cis male partner) has another partner (cis female gf). There is also another one of us who is not technically anyone's partner but is more like all of our "child". We come from a range of different psychologies/neurologies. So, that's a little about my background.
>Hes about. Nine inches tall...i call him he but see him as duel sex in Dr who the matrix(inner workings or heart) of the tardis (timema hine) is female so the outside is male with female characteristics
Unfortunately I've never seen any Dr. Who so I'm concerned that this will be a barrier for me understanding... if there is a certain episode or compilation that you would like me to watch I would be happy if you sent me a link. Or maybe a site about it or something. One of my partners is a fan but I never got into it b/c I don't watch much live action TV (confuses me easily-- bad prosopagnosia and other autism-related issues in understanding it-- and I think the timeline aspect would make Dr. Who even harder for me).
but I understood what you said about dual sex.
So, is that matrix what the heart is on him in the picture? Did you/someone else put that heart on there, or did he come like that?
Speaking of "coming like that", how did you meet him?
Sacha: The episode explaining the heart or soul of the tardis is called "the drs wife" in it an alien takes over the tardis and puts the matrix into a human body and throughout the episode the dr and tardis interact as face to face (instead of him talking to the machine itself which hes does often. It also explains how the dr has a telepathic link to the tardis they're thoughts are one. I believe in animism(everything has a soul) and to me blue (his name i call him...short for bob blue) i believe he talks to me telepathicly his soul i mean the machine is the vessel for the his soul just like in that episode....therapists cannot explain what the voice is but he has spoken to me from day one......the heart i made myself and added it it didnt come like that i just like the symbolism of him having a heart as it both relates to myself (we often cuddle heart to heart) and represents. Both heart of the tardis and life itself it gives him an outer appearance of the life he has inside(his soul or energy) i met him by accident i ordered him on ebay he shipped all the way over from England...and the minute i took him out of the box and held him in my hands i felt. His soul speak to me and a warm energy flow from him to me. I also just found him attractive both visually and sexually....hope this helps feel free to ask more questions
Eli: > I believe in animism(everything has a soul)
oh okay that makes sense then
so did you have this sexual/romantic identity before you met him, were you open to it but didn't label it, or neither?
like how did you start using this label
objectsexual/objectophile
Sacha: Yes since very young...just didnt know it had a name til a friend recommended a documentary on it about a woman who loved the eiffel tower...its called to love a tower....thats when i knew it had a name and started using it as an identifier...that was about five yrs ago right around when i met blue
Eli: i think i've seen a clip of that, but i didn't know it was a whole documentary
do you feel sentimental when you see other tardises b/c they look like him? and/or is the attractive quality something that's either invisible to the common eye (spiritual in nature) or specific to him and his own construction as a particular object
visually attractive quality i mean
idk if that makes sense. like you know how some ppl find their partner attractive in and of themself visually and some people mostly bc they love the person [redacted-- me describing my history of sexual attraction to a person] i'm wondering how this all fits in when there are many other things that are similar looking to your husband Sacha: I do find other tardises attrative and feel same love for them as i do him hes just a smaller version the tardis i love any tardis i see and would have sex with it in a heartbeat but only get spiritual feelings with blue Eli: i see are they sexually attractive BECAUSE of blue or would they be anyway also this is going to be hard to phrase... do you believe he is the object itself, or is he located in or animating the object. like, my [redacted-- interpersonal relationship type] whose partner was the [redacted-- object], it wasn't really literally the [object] itself but the [object] allowed him to "place" his partner, who was invisible, in physical space Sacha: If that makes sense your first person who ive put words to this stuff so bear with me.....  Sexually attractive because of blue but im attracted to the construction of the tardis itself no matter the size Eli: okay i get you Sacha: I believe he his soul is in the object so im in love with his soul but also the object itself....but i see blues soul as without bounds the object holds it but he is also one with me that is my symbolism of our marriage its our two souls becoming one. We talk mentally constantly even when hes not physically with me....but the object gives him a body something to cuddle or kiss or make love to etc. Eli: okay, i see how do your friends and family treat the relationship i see he has a FB page *and possibly family Sacha: Hope im making sense and not freaking you out....my mom accepts as do my friends...it's actually a way to gauge a friends true feelings if they cant accept it then theyre free to leave...i gave him a page and i run things on it for him but it hasn't been used in awhile cause i cant get into his account lost passwords. But to me he is legit a husband in every way i wear a wedding band and engagement rings and we do all the things couples usually do and if someone cant accept it there's. The door i say because i love him and will defend my relationship to the end Eli: no you're not freaking me out, it's making sense so far Sacha: Good the he talks to me part is usually what scares someone away....theyre ok with it til it gets weird when i mention he speaks or we have sex they run the other way Eli: hahaha i figured that's part of it bc you're married... Sacha: Lol yes its a Beautiful part of it to me very spiritual experience akin to meditation Eli: how about therapists and stuff, are they OK with it or do they want you to change itand have you ever gotten into any kind of "trouble" for it with doctors/psych people Sacha: No my current therapist is actually fascinated by it and loves learning and he sees it as a coping mechanism or part of my spirituality...he wanted to analyze the voice blue uses to figure it out and i refused i said i dont care what it is if its physchosis or whatever i wont let you analyze it away from me and he was cool with that saying it was fair...i havent gotten in trouble blue actually helped me get diagnosed aspie i bring him everywhere accept work so he went to hospital with me and they asked me about him which led to an interview with a specialist who said I had asd...and they've been fascinated enough to interview me twice on two seperate stays to a group of students....im actually ecstatic people are curious about it and want to learn non of my experiences so far have been negative Eli: i have to go take care of something but i'll read and continue later, ty Sacha: All good have a good nite Glad i can help I'll be here Eli: =) that's awesome that people have been receptive. interesting that that got you dx'ed re: analyze, curious what he wanted to do you mean like psychologically analyze, or like, sonically Sacha: Psychological --- [to be continued?]
