I have an important #historyofglass lesson to share in today’s edition of #humblepriderecommends : When borosilicate glass first started being used for glass pipes, everything was new- all the designs, shapes, techniques and concepts were being birthed by innovators who brought concepts into being through trial-and-error (or sheer luck), because this new glass medium was unlike the glass arts that came before in so many respects. And we wanted them to be #functionalglass - a whole new class of shapes and requirements that was not considered in days of yore. . So today I share with you this knowledge: the Glitter-filled glass pipes was a concept invented by this guy👉 Sam Dream @dreamglassart in 1999.
