Now I’m not naming names, but some of y’all join different social medias and groups for fans of shows and their complex characters, only to write fic after fic and prompt after prompt either wildly misinterpreting pretty easy to interpret scenes where the lesson is spelled out for you, and/or woobifying/bashing characters who don’t deserve either, and if someone dares bring up that your bringing the vibe down and insulting the characters you claim to love, suddenly they’re a bully who “isn’t contributing to the fandom.”

It’s fucking shit is what it is, and I’m sick of it.
