I'm at Walmart today shopping for an elderly customer. I think I've mentioned George before... He's been running #WindowsXP for the last 20 years basically on the same computer. It's not online his wife just likes to use it to print greetings cards from the #HallmarkCardStudio and he likes to write his letters and take notes and play solitaire. The first time I met George the computer had died and I had rebuilt it. but I told him this time he'd have to get an upgraded computer. So I built him a good used computer with #Windows10 but had it customized for use as an offline computer because he has "no use for the interwhatever" but new computer means he has to have a new printer too. i think it would b so encouraging to know how many artists i follow who haven't always drawn and had to learn as adults.

u see ppl who r really good and they've never stopped drawing, i stopped drawing at 18 bc reasons and barely got back into it like a year ago at 28. even then i was always more of a music person, but i want to draw n do my silly little comics now. but there's sm to learn..and im trying fr but augh

#if ur curious abt why i stopped #i used 2 want to be a piercer n do an apprenticeship but the shop that was willing to take me was gonna make me #draw the same things over n over again till i could do it in a style that didn't rly speak to me #i just ended up piercing myself n would do housecalls lol. i snatched up sm local business bc I'd charge half the price 💀#🚶🏾‍♀️ the gag is piercing parlors take half ur pay so i was still roughly walking away w what i wanted while leaving everyone satisfied #but god i had such an intense rejection of what they wanted me to do i just straight up lost all interest for a decade

Lilac was just chilling in her nursery when who showed up but the big bad wolf, wanting not the route to Agatha Crumplebottom's house but to be her best friend.

"Hold still, I'm capturing your likeness. My, what big eyes you have!"

This seems to be some kind of glitch with one of the updates as it's happened before in a different save. He still did a few theatrical howls, but Lilac was well used to those by now and her reaction was something less than 'RUN AWAY!'.

"Oh, stop. Don't you think we're past all that?"

He then helped himself to some leftover pizza (which he ate without heating up, probably spawning another 'pineapple on pizza' type debate). It's always hilarious to me when Greg does non-Greglike things, especially with the soothing blue and purple hues of Lilac's house in stark contrast to him.

Belatedly we remembered that the big TV premiere, 'A Game of Llamas,' was on today. Maybe he just wanted to keep up with the KarSimmians?

He did want to keep up with the KarSimmians. (Also the new hidden tv in the Modern Luxe kit is a gamechanger.)

Lilac decided to get some pizza herself. She also didn't reheat.

After some (understandable) apprehension, she settled in to join him.

"But he was on all the promo posters, I don't understand..." "Sean SimBean? A two legged spoiler, that one. Even I in my hermit cove know that."

This could be a meme template for someone wittier than me, maybe?

And as he came into our lives, he left. Not forever though.

We also caught some (off duty) military personnel lurking outside. He assured us that there was nothing to worry about in terms of the strange flora, in such a manner that Lilac was convinced that there is definitely something to worry about.

"Sure, Jan."

Later that day? Well, we'll see.
