Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, later Philip Mountbatten; 10 June 1921 – 9 April 2021), was the husband of Queen Elizabeth II.
As such, he was the consort of the British monarch from his wife's accession on 6 February 1952 until his death in 2021, making him the longest-serving royal consort in history.
late 18th/early 19th century Alfred and Mathias are a hilarious duo because maritime trade is their greatest passion in life and smuggling is their second and they both hate the Royal Navy more than they hate the devil himself. also they've both just had explosive (literally) estrangements with Arthur and also both made the very poor choice of declaring war on Britain to protect their own neutrality and got their asses thoroughly whooped for it RIP DC, Copenhagen, and the entire Danish-Norwegian navy.
DenEng gives it another layer of comedy because it means Arthur's very angry ex has teamed up with his very angry estranged son (and you bet it escapes no one that this is the same son named after the only English king to successfully repel the viking conquests). the shittalk has got to be unbelievable. presumably Mathias is having more fun than he's had in centuries now that he gets to be a maritime hooligan again.
