A small furrow of her brows and a small pout. That is the only way Nunnally is ready to show her irritation with that man's reply. Is it out of fear? Out of respect? Or is the cause yet different?

“I am asking who I want to ask…” – she says stubbornly; though now she isn’t sure if she’d like that man to kiss her. Perhaps. Perhaps that could actually be fun. After all it is just a tradition. This man, Goro, is definitely not in love in her. (Is he at all capable of love? Could he be in love with her?) But she isn’t going to ask. Neither about his feelings nor for the kiss.

A gentle shrug of shoulders. Another gentle sign of rebellion? Disobedience?

“Why should I ask him?” – she inquires -- “Why should I ask Ji-Hun? I already know the answer.” – it would have much more sense to ask the third one, if she truly wanted a kiss – “I nothing more than a duty…than an annoying obligation for him.” – he was more than clear about it; but she’s going to make sure he’ll have plenty of work with her. She is stubborn. At least Ji-Hun was right about that. But she'll make him seeing something else in her. But she knows she won't. Things don't work this way.

You need to leave, you can't stay. You've forgotten how to do it - how to set your roots, how to unpack the moving boxes. Staying too long isn't an option, the steady thrum of mixed curiosity and dread always propelling you forward. You've burnt all your bridges, leaving a trail of shattered connections every time you leave. But still you can't stay, can't even sit still. You tire of life as it happens, wishing you could quit your job and just become something else - anything at all. You've forgotten how to make a place into a home, feeling content only in novelty, at home only on the road.
