Scar takes a firm hold of him and lifts him off the ground again.

Grian breaks the kiss, startled indignation rising within him. “Hey—”

The protest dies on his lips as he looks at Scar and is met with unbridled joy.

Scar spins them, and Grian doesn’t resist the tug in his heart this time. He bends his knees, lets Scar carry all of his weight as the world blurs around them and the air brushes past his feathers.

And he leans over him and presses his lips to Scar’s again.

He can’t believe he’s allowed to do this.

It feels maddening.

It feels simultaneously like too much and not enough.

Neither of them can help it; their lips treacherously stretch into smiles where they’re pressed against each other, before they both helplessly dissipate into giggles, feeling lightheaded and high.

“What are we doing,” Grian huffs out through his laughter.

“Kissing,” Scar replies cheerfully and demonstratingly places three kisses along Grian’s jaw.

It’s the best thing in the world.

555 Kata untuk HMTB

Happy Independence Day, HMTB :)

Alhamdulillah, waktu berlalu begitu cepat dan tidak terasa himpunan ini telah genap berusia 2 tahun pada tanggal 31 Desember 2017. Kalau diibaratkan manusia, himpunan ini masih balita, masih dalam masa-masa emas untuk bertumbuh dan berkembang. Hal ini menjadi kesempatan dan tantangan besar bagi pengurus maupun anggota (mungkin juga alumni), untuk memberikan yang terbaik buat himpunan, sayang kan kalau di masa-masa emas ini terlewat begitu saja?

2 Tahun HMTB

2 tahun himpunan ini berdiri, namun sudah 2 kali menyandang gelar hima of the year, penghargaan tahunan untuk himpunan dari BEM Fakultas sejak tahun 2016. 2 years in a row! mengalahkan himpunan himpunan yang telah puluhan tahun berdiri. Bangga? pastinya, tapi dibalik rasa bangga tersebut, terselip rasa khawatir. Khawatir memikirkan bagaimana cara himpunan tetap bisa mempertahankan gelar tersebut. Dan alhamdulillah, bukan hanya saja yang khawatir [haha]

2 tahun himpunan ini berdiri, banyak dinamika yang terjadi. Di tahun pertama, dana himpunan defisit hampir 10 juta (sependek ingatan saya); di tahun kedua, surplus sekian juta (ga tau pastinya berapa). Di tahun pertama, pimnas dapat 6 medali; di tahun kedua, hanya 1 medali. Di tahun pertama, 1 orang berangkat exchange; di tahun kedua, lebih dari 5 orang. Dan masih banyak lagi naik turun angka-angka yang tidak bisa saya sebutkan.

Bicara tentang himpunan, tentu tidak hanya bicara tentang hima of the year ataup angka-angka yang barangkali menarik untuk dijadikan infografis. Bicara tentang himpunan lebih dari itu, bagaimana cara tujuan organisasi tercapai, bagaimana cara himpunan ini dapat dirasakan manfaatnya, bagaimana seluruh anggota mau bertumbuh dan berkembang bersama himpunan ini.

Memaknakan Himpunan

Himpunan ini ada karena perjuangan, dan akan terus ada selama ada yang memperjuangkannya. Bentuk perjuangannya berbeda-beda. Ada yang berjuang dengan menjadi pengurus, ada yang berjuang dengan mencetak prestasi. Ada yang berjuang dengan tenaga, ada yang berjuang dengan pikiran. Setiap bentuk perjuangan, tanpa kita sadari, telah menghidupkan himpunan ini.

Sebagai alumna dari himpunan ini, saya juga ingin terus memperjuangkannya. Kalau ditanya mengapa, karena untuk saya himpunan ini adalah rumah dan anggotanya adalah keluarga. Tempat dimana saya selalu (dan semoga akan selalu) merasa diterima dan dicintai. Terus berusaha untuk membersamai adik-adik untuk membesarkan himpunan semoga dapat menjadi sebuah bentuk pertanggungjawaban, karena saya dulu telah berani menjadi bagian dari inisiator berdirinya himpunan ini.

Beberapa waktu lalu, saya sempat berdiskusi singkat dengan ketua himpunan tahun ini, tentang pencapaian himpunan selama 2 tahun, dan apa yang akan dicapai di tahun 2018. Secara garis besar, Kabinet Alpha (2016) telah berhasil mencapai goal untuk branding. Kabinet Resonansi (2017) telah berhasil mencapai goal untuk merumuskan sistem kaderisasi dan menginisiasi terbentuknya IMTBI (Ikatan Mahasiswa Teknik Biomedis Indonesia). Namun, dari segi pengembangan keprofesian dan iklim berkompetisi, kami berdua sepakat masih banyak yang harus ditingkatkan. Dari sesi diskusi singkat + sedikit random talk + brainstorming, ketua himpunan berhasil memaparkan goal yang harus dicapai himpunan tahun 2018 yaitu meningkatkan keprofesian dan prestasi himpunan. Kalau bisa dapat 5000 poin untuk mempertahankan gelar hima of the year (aamiin). Daaan, tagline yang diusung himpunan tahun ini adalah:

Bersama, kita berpadu, beraksi, gapai prestasi!!

Tidak akan mudah, namun percayalah tidak ada yang tidak mungkin. Selama kita mau terus berusaha, terus berjuang, terus memberikan yang terbaik. Tetap semangat adik-adikku dan semoga Allah selalu memberkahi perjuangan ini :)
