Midnight the Android Hedgehog, child of Neo. at least. maybe Shadow? It's complicated.

Neo created Midnight to be a powerful and worthy successor. Allegedly. No one's completely sure if that was an excuse or if xe just got way more attached than xe meant to. Xe treats them like a normal child, for the most part. Despite continuing to talk about them in terms of superior ability. (How else does one express pride?) Shadow, truthfully, wasn't directly involved with their creation. Neo used the biodata of The Ultimate Lifeform when creating xer perfect little warrior, supposedly without considering the social implications. No one batted an eye when Eggman did the same to make… Shard. And Shadow accepts this explanation. After all, Gerald did the same with Black Doom's DNA, right?

Midnight is indeed a very formidable foe, between the Chaos manipulation abilities from Shadow's biodata and the technology copied from Neo's own body, including the shape shifting. Despite their impressive abilities, they don't like fighting all that much. Perhaps influenced by how much Orchid and Cupid dislike it, not wanting to make their uncles uncomfortable. They will rarely start a fight, but will finish one quickly if provoked. The most reliable way to get them to fight is to put someone they care about in danger. So avoid doing that.

They're known to be surprisingly polite, despite their… intense expression. They're very patient and very, very curious. If you want to get on their good side (much better idea than starting a fight) you can tell them something new. Even gossip. They may not spread gossip themself, but they love hearing it. They'll sometimes even eavesdrop on people - mostly strangers. Their ability to shapeshift makes this much easier. All of this done not for blackmail, with the full intention of keeping any overheard secrets; solely done out of curiosity. Midnight is very quiet and distant, only adding to their intimidating image. But they care deeply about the people close to them, and enjoy spending time with them. Even if they're just sitting nearby and listening to everyone else talking. They're most talkative in one-to-one situations, but even then they're still mostly a listener.

When they get more independence and are considered an adult, they eventually become a habitual traveler wandering the planet. They always make time to visit their family, of course, but adventure calls! They rarely talk to strangers, preferring to keep a distance and even stand on rooftops to watch from afar, but people still slowly start to notice them. They gain a strange kind of reputation as… almost a cryptid. They always love hearing what new rumors have spread about them and what omen their presence supposedly brings now.

Midnight was given the chance to choose their gender, and they… didn't. There were many other far more interesting things! Legend has it they are still postponing that.

It's taken me weeks, but I made it through all 1405 pages of your blog! I went through it backwards so it was strange to see how everything went from thirsty and chaotic to sweet and pure. I think my favorite concept was the Sawyers. I wonder about the Sawyers from different versions of the same hero, though. Like, do they consider all iterations of their parent as a parent? And how do the heroes feel if OG!Hero has a Sawyer but not them? Anyway, this blog is a blessing. Thank you.

ummm baby. her name is tanya i don’t remember exactly she was born in the tl in my head but . she was a infant during new leaf and 6(?) around new horizons ( i know thats not exactly right with how time works but whatever 💔) she’s a bit of a carbon copy of tom but she has a few of my features ( nose, hair type ) she has a bit of a mean mug and a thousand yard stare but don’t worry she’s just like that . that’s just how she is 😭

She loves bugs and sea creatures and she loves catching them and going to the museum. type of lil girl to keep frogs in her pocket and tell you to open ur hand and she’ll put a cool rock in it . i loved the idea that t.immy and t.ommy were really into bugs esp tarantulas so they love helping her catch stuff and teaching them all the things they learned from b.lathers. speaking of b.lathers im kinda in the same boat as him bc I’m insanely freaked out by bugs and crabs but I always want to listen to they have to say!! i am just fighting to stay conscious when they put a spider in my hand 😭😭

tom doesn’t mind bugs he’s handled them before they don’t scare him but he knows im terrified of them . he had to pull the kids aside and a couple times and he like “don’t scare your father too bad with the little creatures you get, don’t want him to pass out, hm?” 😭😭
