Tomorrow's end of the year

This year was special to me. This was the year I entered social medias for real.

After years of telling myself that I should post my ideas, I finally took enough courage to do it, and voala, I even made friends along the way.

I don't know them enough to call them close friends, but I consider them to be. Of course I'm talking about Simple, Carleen and Shadeless.

I ain't gonna tag them (Load of bullshit, I'll do that down the line), since this is more of a letter to me, but thank you three so much for dealing with me. Granted, you haven't seen shit from me yet, but still.

I hope we continue being friends, but only time will tell this tale.

Now, to my blogs, I'm gonna leave here the statistcs of my blogs and AO3.

I'm sorry for anyone who was bothered by the tagging, but I wanted to thank you all for this. So, one last thanks everyone, and I hope you all have a great nex year, and I hope mine's great too.

Now for my AO3 account.

Even if it my account doesn't have a full year yet. Accomplished more than I thought I would, no joke. I expected that I would write things and they would get like 20 hits or something, but imagine my surprise when in around a week I got 100 hits on Split Drones. It was a surprise, and that was the first edition of Split Drones, one that doesn't exist anymore because I edited it, cause it was bad.

Hell, I even got a fanart, made by Clockwork. This is a dream come true. I even got a gift, made by InspiredDragonWriter. He decided to gift me back a very good work. Also got a related work made by Kingcrustnip.

This is insane! I'm still so happy about all of these.

I'm going to talk a little about each of my main stories here that I made this year.

Split Drone (on going)

One of my favorite stories that I have thought of. I'm happy that after the 3º chapter it got a lot more attention. And to think that it's not even close to ending.

Murder Drones Oneshots... Kind of (on going)

My most viewed fic here, for obvious reason. It's a oneshit book. Honestly, I don't like this one, but I still have to finish it. There are requests that have more than months on the waiting. The people who sent them don't even remember it anymore.

Rescue Drones (on going)

I'm glad the Twins allowed me to use their content to do my strange shit. Honestly, I really like this story, specially the world building I did with it. I just like the concept of different HQ's out there. I don't know if the Twin read that story anymore, probably not, but I'm happy that they let me use their universe to write my stories.

A walk and a discovery + We meet again brother (finished)

Two gifts for InspiredDragonWriter. I really liked his content, so I thought of making these stories. I like them, think I did a good job on doing a horror story. I hope he really did like these gifts.

Listening to music (finished)

This is just a fun idea I had. Glad some people liked it, but I don't really have any more ideas on what to do with it. I think Clockwork would have an use for this one on his musical oneshot though. Unfortunaly it's closed.

Mine (on going)

A request that turned into a full fic. Honestly, it's really fun to do it, and it gathered way more attention than I thought it would.

Downard Spiral (on going)

A side fic for Rescue Drones. I have a harder time writting in first person than in third, so the quality of this one is leagues worse than the main story, but I don't think it's that bad.

Greek HQ (on going)

This is a huge story I'm trying to tell. Hope the 10 people who read it like it. Things are going to become much worse, really fast.

Little Rescue Drones side stories

Just some fun fic ideas I have on my mind. Nothing more. Don't even know if I should make them cannon.

Just a fun little idea I had for these two.

Serial Designation S RP (on going)

I never expected to play a RP, specially on Tumblr. I'm glad I did though, met three pretty fun persons. It's hard to do the Rp through Tumblr, but it's very good.

Poemas (on going)

My first attempt at writting poems. It's really fun to do it, specially to talk about my culture.

Now, I saw the Twins doing this, and I really liked it. It is showing my final statistics, so I'm going to do the same. By the end of this year, my statistics were:

- User Subscriptions: 8 I'm thankful to everyone who liked my works enough to follow me on this site. I'm glad you enjoy my stuff that much.

- Kudos: 420 This is insane to me. I got this amount in less than a year. Going by dates, it's been around half a year. I'm fucking thankful to everyone who liked my stuff.

- Comment Threads: 88 That's a lot of conversation, and even if most are about the fics, I think I did make some friends here. Hope they think the same.

- Bookmarks: 56 I'm glad people liked my works enough to leave a bookamrk on them, and 56 bookmarks across all my 26 works. That's more than double.

- Subscriptions: 47 Across all my 26 fics, I got 47 subscriptions in each of them. I'm thankful to anyone who did this, trully.

- Word Count: 110,657 Honestly, why do you americans use comma to separate the decimals when most of the world uses dot? Whatever. That's an insane amount of words to me. That's more than I expected to write in all of my life, wich is funny that it turned into my hobby.

- Hits: 14,796 This is an insane number to me. 14k views on my fics. I never expected to have all of this in half a year, but I'm so glad and thankful I did.

It isn't much, but its more than I thought I would get in my first year. Well, it was fun writting everything and meeting new people here in this site.

oh my god okay i think since like. 2012...? i forgot the url of my first ever blog so i can't confirm, it might've been like december 2011, but definitely since 2012. so about 12 years ! i initially got into it via ask blogs which ykno. were all the rage back then. so that was my first roleplay... foray ig ?? i don't think i made a real roleplay blog until later, which was for a pokémon self insert oc of all things, but i'm prrrretty sure i deleted the blog years ago so i can't verify that, BUT i'm fairly sure because my initial ask blogs were pokémon themed.

so yeah ^-^ tldr about twelve years or so, and i got into it via pokémon ask blogs !

oh god. um. i genuinely think raikov is at the top of the list. writing him usually comes super easily to me, and that's not something i've experienced in a LONG time. it's genuinely such a fun experience to write him and i love the followers and friends i've gained from it. i really like the lore i've built for him and the intricacies i'm slowly weaving into his character. he's so silly and i care him very bad and i want to write him for a long time <3 um. let me look at my list

OH MY GOD YES tiff tannen from back to the future. like raikov she basically existed as a joke / throwaway line until she showed up in the comics, and i took that bitch and put everything i had into her. there's some shit i handled poorly and some stuff i'd change, but that community was so chill and she holds a special place in my heart. i might revive her blog one day. OH YEAH and if you google tiff tannen my rp blog still shows up on the first page

um. im gen not sure who else. i don't remember a lot of my time writing other muses. probably like some of my historical muses, or. yeah i cant remember. maybe my fnaf oc because that was the first time i got fanart of an oc and i felt like the gods themselves had bestowed it upon me

chernobyl hbo is my favourite show ever of all time and it is the best show ever of all time factually contractually legally clinically and undisputably. i genuinely love every single facet of that show. it's what inspired me to get into researching nuclear radiation and that's what eventually led me to meet my partner ! i love that show so much it changed my life literally. i cried so hard. if you haven't watched it please do so on your platform of choice ( legal or no ) because it's genuinely amazing

neon genesis evangelion is probably one of my favourite shows ever of all time too, it hit so close to home and i'm obsessed with it. and even though none of the characters canonically have personality disorders, i find asuka and shinji to be super good representations of hpd and avpd respectively, which is great because you usually never see those anywhere ! it's so good. i also loved serial experiments lain but it hit too close to home in a way that i never want to watch it ever again because i think it will do irreparable damage to my psyche. but i really enjoyed it !

OTHERWISE i'm actually not much of a... show girlie. i like friday night dinner though i literally forgot it existed until my beloved mentioned it right now. um. most of the stuff i watch is like hell's kitchen, four in a bed, don't tell the bride, that type of shit because i'm apparently 47 years old. i have been watching dorohedoro, chainsaw man, and spy x family with my partner though !

Hi Mun right now i'm unsure to throw this idea at you off anon. So please respond whenever you see this or able too reply? I'm really tempted to made a code geass rp / hangout group based in Discord. I did go and check your blog and saw you have done this before when the fandom was at it's highest activity. But i still wish there was more of us somewhere at this current time. What's your thoughts on this? Would you be interested? I would love to hear from you about this as i can't start unless it's a good idea / and with any ideas or help. if you read this and reply thank you.

Hi! You can call me Kaito, and this was a nice ask to return home from work to, honestly, as Code Geass is still my favorite anime and the reason I haven't changed my url since like...2011 or 2012(Yes, cxdemusings is code geass related).

I'm sorry this was answered hours later than when you sent it!!

And, unfortunately, hype for Code Geass in the rp sphere has gone done a lot. General interest is the lowest it's been, due to lack of content and it just being one of those anime--while still highly regarded--that can easily fade into the background, overshadowed by other anime that have 'good animation/good graphics'.

I can't count how many times I've tried to revive the community by suggesting characters to mutuals, or just generally talking about it, so the only way I can keep using my muses are typically doing regular crossovers, and AU crossovers. But regardless...crossovers.

So if you wanted to start that Code Geass rp discord group, it would be very small, I can already tell you that. I do know one other roleplayer on here that has a Suzaku, and another Suzaku that's basically nonexistent because she's restricted to mobile-only and feels insecure about it(and also disappears quickly from discord convos...like I do).

I suppose the one thing you can do, now that you've found a code geass roleplayer(*cough* me), is just start roleplaying, maybe people will get interested? Maybe they won't.

...It's just one of those series that people now either get turned off by the 'old' art style or the mechs.

But, man, if any of my mutuals want GOOD DISASTER GAYS--freaking watch code geass, please.

SuzaLulu was and is fucking great.

And anon, we should talk. I've rewatched code geass multiple times--and again, over 10 years later, it's still my favorite series.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: I love Treppy. He is an evil bastard. I think it's a shame there wasn't more of him in the comics, but what we did see, I very much liked. I like a good, evil villain, altho mod always does like to remind me that he was just doing his job, so... I can't blame him entirely. Or so Treppy thinks. XD

(@seacrestseacon as well since you asked for that URL as well). I love Seacrest, he's hilarious and energetic, and honestly, I just feel like he's ADHD in a nutshell lol. I haven't quite been able to wrap my head around all of the other crew members yet, except Blacktip, but I am slowly learning! And I do love getting to interact with a whole crew, which also makes me appreciate the time you've put into this crew and your OC's, and you've developed a whole world around them. I really like that dedication. They feel like real characters that could easily be placed in the TF universe at any given point.

How they play them: Spectacularly! Absolutely love their portrayal of Trepan. This is one of those situations where it's a very underappreciated character in a series, one of those side characters that we don't really get to know a whole lot about, but with the use of our imaginations and lovely headcanons, you get to flesh these side characters out to your hearts content, and that is exactly what the mod does. And they do a fantastic job at it. I've never had so much joy with the character, let alone seen Trepan so fleshed out. A+

(Your squaddies are OCs, so I can't comment on how you write them because they're your OC's and you write them how you want them to be, and they're great the way they are).

The Mun: Is a riot. I'm convinced they're a gremlin that lurks in the back of my mind some days XD Honestly, though, the mod is lovely and always a joy to chat with. I can't say how much I laugh when I read your replies, just the way you write is so expressive and humerous, and I love it so much. Those little inner monologues? The breaking the third wall thing? Every thread is a delight and amuses me, and it's in turn made me able to expand my own writing techniques with those ways as well. It's something so unique in RP and it's definitely something I'll never forget.

Overall Opinion: Just a joy to write with. Like I said, it's always amusing getting to read your replies and getting to chat OOC. It's also really nice to have someone else in my own time zone as well lol, because that's a royal pain in the arse knowing everyone else is asleep while we're just getting home from work or something. So I definitely appreciate that. But yes, if you're not following or interacting with this mod, you should be, because they're a riot to have on the dash and the replies always have me smirking behind my screen XD

Ope. That's flattering!

I started RPing some... 24? ish? years ago. I started in notebooks, then went to AOL chat rooms, forums, PBeM, MSN and Yahoo... LiveJournal and even WoW. So, how I started to roleplay is very different than what is available today.

I had never roleplayed on Tumblr before when I decided to make this blog. Tumblr RP was something that didn't quite make sense to me, despite the fact that I have been using Tumblr off and on since 2012. It took some observation to understand how it worked and honestly I still feel like I haven't quite gotten the hang of it. In part because I struggle with a lot of the aesthetic formatting that's really common in the Roleplay Community (RPC). But that's an aside!

[CUT FOR LENGTH]

When I started Hannibal, I made his blog and then searched "Hannibal RP" and started to follow people that were active in the RPC. Or, if they looked interesting. I binged Hannibal and wrote drabbles to get his voice back down since it had been since 2013 since I had written him, and since.... 2006? ish? Before that. Yikes. Anyways, I wanted to get the feel for writing him so I wrote drabbles and fics. After that, I jumped in and started to interact with the blogs I followed, plus ones that were starting to follow me.

One of the important things to remember about roleplay is that it is a lot like improv acting where you want to follow "yes, and..." If your partner is writing about it being a dreary night and having a headache, don't swing in talking about sunshine and how healthy they look. Build on what they've given you and always provide opportunity to respond.

John smith opened the door and greeted the woman on the other side. While he was in a bad mood, he still welcomed her in. 'How are you?'

is a better RP post than

The door was opened by John Smith. He looked outside, and there was no one to be seen. He closed his door again and went back to his computer. He was sullen.

The second one, besides having passive voice, isn't as good as an interaction because it doesn't leave room for someone else to respond --- easily. Theoretically, I suppose someone could send an email to John Smith. But the top one gives the other person roleplaying something to say and something to do. She can greet John, come inside, and answer his question -- and observe that he's in a bad mood.

You also want to avoid controlling someone else's character unless you have explicit permission. You never want to write what someone else's character is doing, thinking, or feeling. That's bad etiquette and takes away the fun of roleplaying! You're collaborating and part of the fun is not knowing exactly what the other character is going to do or say.

As an extension of that, you never want to hurt, maim, or kill another character without explicit permission from the other mun. To avoid doing this, I usually try to provide outs or ways that characters can avoid getting hurt. Instead of writing something like "Hannibal stabbed him" I write

The knife was like an extension of Hannibal's hand, wielded with the same practiced grace as a dancer. He slashed out at his intended prey, the blade slicing neatly through the air.

Again, opportunity to react and respond. The other player can decide whether or not that slash lands and how bad it is. You can be more specific than that, but this is an example. Usually if I am writing something like this, I talk to the mun first and ask what it is OK to do so that waiting for an OK to stab (lol) doesn't interrupt the flow of a post. When you get really used to writing with someone, you probably don't need to have these conversations as much, but it is still nice to check in.

When you're first starting to interact with someone, make sure you check out their rules and about pages. If they're OK with you reaching out and contacting them OOC (not all people are, for some it causes a lot of anxiety) then I would encourage you to do so and develop a rapport with them. Roleplay is a community effort so don't be afraid to build community when it is possible.

It is also a learning curve! But a fun one. Don't get discouraged if it feels like you're not getting somewhere or someone doesn't like you/your character. There's someone out there who absolutely will.

I haven’t come across any recent guides on how to start roleplaying on Tumblr ( THIS ONE is two years old, though, might still be useful ), however I have made a guide myself about how to start independent/indie roleplaying which you can find HERE and I also found a guide on how to join a group, which you can find HERE. Most roleplayers on Tumblr are either independent or group members, so I think those two should be able to help you on your way already, dear. Especially since you probably still know the basics ?? I will also list a couple useful general tips below the cut, things which you will probably find useful to know. I hope this will help you out, lovely, if you have any particular questions in the future, don’t hesitate to hit me up !! Xoxo

first and foremost, you should probably be made aware of the fact that Tumblr has a tendency to enforce updates on us which make roleplaying harder and harder. luckily, there are ways around it and ways to fix it. an important new development is the forcing of beta dashboards on blogs. this update makes chrome extensions such as xkit and sessionbox unworkeable ( and both of these extensions are very dear to roleplayers, i would definitely recommend installing them -- i will explain what they do and why you might want to install them further down ). luckily, you can still return to the old dashboard. how do you do this ? you go to settings > dashboard > ‘use the old dashboard’ which you should switch on. that’s it !

now, allow me to elaborate on xkit and sessionbox + add some other useful extras to the list, which will hopefully help you out:

XKIT : xkit is an extension made for google chrome which is probably the roleplayer’s best friend. without xkit, we would be nowhere thanks to tumblr’s updates. so you will definitely want to install xkit to your google chrome ( just google xkit chrome extention and you will find it immediately ). once xkit is installed, you will see the little xkit icon in the top right corner of your tumblr dashboard, in between the notifs and account icons. when you click it, a pop-up will appear on your screen. now, what does xkit do ? xkit allows to add extension to your tumblr which can reverse some of tumblr’s annoying updates. if you want to roleplay, an extention you might want to get it ‘ editable reblogs ‘. why ? because the time of just reblogging a thread and adding replies on and on so you have to scroll down a lot, is long gone. nowadays, you usually leave two replies in your reblog -- the previous reply of your partner, and your own new reply. without xkit, you are no longer able to edit reblogs, just add your own new text to it -- clearly, this is not what you want as a roleplayer, because you would like to just cut the replies short. this is why you need the ‘ editable reblogs ‘ extension in xkit. how do you get it ? you click the xkit icon, then you go to ‘ get extensions ‘ on the bottom of the pop-up and you look for ‘ editable reblogs ‘. once you’ve found it, you just click install and you are good to go ! i think this is the main feature you will need if you want to roleplay.

SESSIONBOX : sessionbox is another chrome extension which could be nice to have -- it’s not a must like xkit is, but it’s handy. sessionbox allows you to have numerous tumblr sessions active in the same chrome window. in other words, with sessionbox, you can be logged on in a bunch of different tumblr accounts and have them all open in different tabs at the exact same time. this could be useful when you have different roles in a group, but have created a new blog for each of them -- because thanks to sessionbox, you wouldn’t have to log off and on into different accounts all the time. you can just have them open and next to each other. i wouldn’t advice making new blogs for all your roles within one roleplay -- creating sideblogs for additional roles is overall a more useful thing to do, i think. but that’s just my personal opinion !

TAGS : i assume the tag game has a changed a bit since you were roleplaying here last -- so here are some tags which you can look through when searching for a new group, new partners etc...

GROUPS : some popular tags nowadays for tumblr groups are new rp, appless rp, town rp, oc rp, semi-appless rp... it actually depends on what type of roleplay you are looking for. here is a division in genres and types of roleplays:

LOCATION : college rp, high school rp, town rp, city rp, apartment rp, hotel rp, island rp, university rp... are tags that are used quite frequently.

FANDOM : harry potter rp, marauders era rp, disney rp, supernatural rp, twilight rp ( yes, they are being revived ), musicals rp, or just general fandom rp ... are some tags i’ve noticed are around a lot. of course, you can try and look for more specific roleplays -- there is probably a roleplay for almost every fandom.

TYPE : subplot rp, pairs rp, oc ( original character ) rp, bio rp, skeleton rp ... are some common types of roleplays.

GENRE : appless rp, semi-appless rp ... are probably the most frequently used ones. you can find a bit about the difference in THIS ask.

INDIE: if you want to do independent roleplay, the following tags might be interesting to go through : indie rp, independent rp, 1x1 rp, indie starter, open starter ...

SSFF Challenge 8 - Introducing Myself!

Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself since I’m still a bit of a newbie in the Simblr community, and @simblrsimplyforfun challenge 8 was the perfect excuse! So here we go =D

My name in real life is Ailén, but my pen name since the age 13 is Piper, nowadays most of my friends call me that name and I’m really more comfortable with it, so please just call me Pip or Piper! ^^ I’m 19 years old and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷

I can describe myself as a kind person, I love meeting new people, to debate about random things with them and listening to them speaking about what they like or their plans, I’m very creative but sometimes I just run out of inspiration 😂 I’m also very affectionate! I don’t know, I can’t speak for everyone 8′D but I guess they also see me as affectionate, sometimes even clingy, I act goofy at times (you can see it mostly when I talk, I tend to finish my sentences with ‘ahre’ a lot, which is an Argentinian expression to state you’re just joking), so I guess they think I have a good sense of humor as well, I love making people laugh 😄 I’ve also been called ‘cute’ or ‘adorable’ more than once and I’m proud of it! 😄💕

About my childhood... I dunno it was pretty normal, although I got bullied from 5th grade to second year of high school :( it was tough, I even developed depression at the age of 14 due to the lack of friends and the constant name-calling and pranks, but I don’t know if it would be okay to talk about it since that was on my teen years... Overall, my childhood was okay, I used to be a curious little girl, I loved to wear pink dresses or skirts xD pink was always my favourite colour c: 💟 At the age of 8 I was forced to attend English lessons as an extracurricular activity, and I ended up loving it! I’m currently teaching this language to my bff’s aunt and I’m planning on studying English at university to be a teacher ^.^ I also had a fascination for women as a child, I always created female characters for my stories, or played girl barbies with my friend, nowadays I’m a feminist and always try to defend my fellow women c: (as long as it’s an unfair situation for them, ofc) ♀️💕

Write a little about your simming time. How do you like to play your game? Which style of blogs do you like? Who are your main characters and how did you come up with them? Do you tell people in RL you are a simmer?

I learnt about sims when I was in 6th grade I think, but didn’t take interest on it until sims 4 was announced, so I started palying when I was 15 ^^ I love playing legacy style, and also use the game to take nice pictures (I’m still learning how to edit, it’s quite fun but also time-consuming ;; ).

I follow all the simblrs who follow me tbh ^^ but I love simatography blogs! Maybe one day I’ll learn how to do proper edits and poses, and then I’ll become a simatography simblr 😂

Main characters... I don’t really have, my favourite ones though are Anine and Kyung-soo. Anine was the result of a frustration night *shot* I didn’t use to have much confidence on my sims, so I put all of my effort on her, I really like the facial features of Nordic women, so I decided she’d have Nordic origins, and ended up loving her so much that I posted about her ^^ as for her personality, I didn’t have a slight idea of how her behaviour or characteristics could be, but by that time I was kind of obsessed with Overwatch, and all of a sudden imagined her in a D.Va cosplay thanks to zauma’s CC, so I thought the best was giving her a gamer/otaku likes, and her personality in general is really based off mine, she’s a happy-go-lucky girl in her late teens, always friendly and willing to help people. I had the idea of making an Asian OC the night I went to Monsta X concert, and that way I created Kyung, he’s kind of a frustrated idol lol, he’s got a really tragic story involving being rejected by his parents, friends and entertainment gorups, but is always smiling and tries his best to make people happy, kind of resembling the life of a kpop idol, who only wants to see their fans happy despite of having a tough life uwu

And yes, I usually talk about my strange obsession with sims with people, they don’t see it as something productive, but luckily I’ve never been judged badly because of it. Maybe my mum thinks it gets extreme at times, but I try to balance simming with real life activities :3

Write about your time on tumblr. Maybe some nice stories of the people you met. How you got started. How long have you been on here? What has been good and bad? What kind of things have your learnt? What kind of things do you think you can help other simmers with? Any nice stories from here? Do you still have your first sims?

(I didn’t know if I should have talked about Tumblr in general or the Simblr community... So I made a summary of both just in case)

I started using Tumblr when I was 14, my best internet friend had a blog by those times and encouraged me to make one as well. I was starting to get depressive by those years, so most of my posts or reblogs were about “dark” things (I deleted that blog long ago, lol), so Tumblr was like a safe place, where I could speak my mind out without getting judged, I even met some people who suffered the same illness as me, and they always supported me and gave me strength to keep going on (unfortunately I’ve lost contact with them :c)

Regarding Simblr, I joined in at the beginning of 2018 I think, I wanted to share my ideas with people, but I was too shy then... It was thanks to the SSFF challenges that I started getting out of my cocoon and talking to simmers, and I’m so glad I did! The people I met are lovely and I’m really happy to have them now ^^

Things I learnt are lots of... From meshing or modding, to social values. I mean, it’s always good to have basic knowledge of informatics (it helps a lot, especially where I live), and I’m very grateful for all of those tutorials who taught me so many things. But I learnt one thing or two about people in general, I always used to put words into others’ mouth, I always thought they didn’t like me because of my looks or my behaviour, that they thought I was weird; now, I understand that they might be like me, they’re simply too shy to talk, and I won’t know what they they actually think about me if I never go and say ‘hi’; and now thanks to that ‘hi’ I met wonderful people, people who are creative and won’t judge me... That’s the most precious thing I learnt 😊

I don’t think I could help other simmers from a technician point of view, but I’m always here to talk and share my little knowledge, I love hearing other simmers’ ideas (one of my best friends irl isn’t a simmer, but loves to create OCs and stories, and I’m always there to listen about them c: ), suggesting some other things for their stories, etc. I think I could offer more of a friendship than technical help, but it’s something as well! 😂

And yes, I keep my first sims! In a folder so full of various saves that I must erradicate someday *shot* I had them for three generations, if I remember correctly, the legacy began with a pink-haired sim named Jenna, she married a vampire townie from Bridgeport, they had a daughter, Emilie, Emilie married a townie from University, who was a Plantsim, so they had a plantsim daughter, Wynn, Wynn had an imaginary friend named Percy (who’s also a fairy) and they’re now in University, they’re a couple. I made such a chaos when I was 15 xD

Write about the people you have met here. Do you take part in discord chats? Met anyone in RL? Which simmers influenced you? Do you do RPs?

I don’t take part in discord chats, I made a discord user a few days ago but tbh I don’t use it a lot ;; I’d love to be in a server tho, it’s just that I don’t talk much when I’m in a group ^_^’

I haven’t met any simmer irl, I’d love to, tho! It seems to be a little hard to find simmers where I live 😂

The simmers that influence me the most are marshmallowsims, gruesim, theseprettylittlepixels and lehma! I want to develop my own style though, they’re my biggest references and hope to inspire people as much as they do someday ^^

And I’ve never done RPs, but I’d love to do some! Actually, I’m working on an AU with a sim of nonsimsical ‘s, it’s really fun to plan, and I hope I can do more of them in the future ^^

♥ What’s the absolute best experience you’ve had in RP?

best experience overall has to be the friendships i’ve made, and i mean lasting friendships. there are people in my life that i’ve known for at least 10 years now, and we still keep in touch and chat regularly.

i think one of my best RP experiences was probably back on g/aia on/line when i was a wee babe in the breedables and changables shops. i had a very beloved OC and it’s through RPing him that i met one of my oldest RP friends. :3 i love her to pieces and she’s wonderful and artistic and fucking generous. i feel like i don’t deserve her, but i’m grateful she’s put up with me all the same! she’s got the cutest little daughter now. ;3;/

♚ Have you ever made any lasting friends through RP?

yes yes yes! the aforementioned, and a couple of others from my g/lee days. they’ve visited me before, several times, and i’ve met up with them in NYC. i went to disney world with one of them last year (she visits me pretty frequently and i text her basically every day??? she’s my favorite hufflepuff, the poe to my finn). i’ve known them for 5-7 years now, and i still adore them.

like, we exchange gifts and OTP things (like i made an in character mix-tape once, hahaha).

☯ Tell us all about your favorite muse you’ve ever written and why they meant so much to you.

i almost want to say p/uck from g/lee, who i RPed for years, but that muse is long gone, and…soured, actually, because of things that happened IRL regarding the actor.

if i’m HONEST??? i had an ask blog with mikey from T/MNT and no muse has EVER come as naturally as he did, and i think that’s because i grew up with and identify entirely with the character (he’s a jokester, he loves comic books and video games, he uses humor to deal with heavy topics, he loves his family, he becomes a writer when he grows up…). mikey is my favorite fictional character hands down.

PLUS it helps that my actual brother ran a leonardo ask blog, so the banter was real, because my brother is basically leo (his blog was gnarly because while people came to my ask box for fun and games, people went to his for legitimate advice, and he was a fucking pro with his responses. they were all so careful and thoughtful and heartfelt).

and!!! we found a delightful group–donnie, april, raph, renet, usagi, casey…the whole gang was there, and we met some really fun people that joined in our shenanigans that we’re still friends with. running an ask blog was also really low stress too, since we focused entirely on voice.

and plus, what’s more fun than playing a family of turtles?? especially when one of them is your ACTUAL family?
