Minor spoliers for Hfth 133

The episode came out a week ago but I’m not done talking about Melanie Flores I HATE her how did Willam A fucking Wellman manage to write a character even more infuriating to listen to then Lady Ethel GOD DAMN MALLORY.

Atleast Lady Ethel is charming with her personality she has a superiority complex and she is not afraid to show it! You can tell when something she’s saying is bullshit which is all the time!

Lady Ethel is like a sassy aunt at a dinner party, sure the things she saying and doing are awful but she’s almost entertaining at a distance.

MELANIE FLORES ON THE OTHER HAND SHES FAKE AS FYCK! I almost liked her I really did! Back when she was introduced and I didn’t have to spend much time worrying about her! But no! Now she’s plot relevant! AND SHE GOT SO MUCH WORSE! I don’t know if the role as chief marketing executive just turns people rotten or if this was a hidden evil of hers brought out by the acquisition of power, either way fuck you!

Because she is SO much WORST then Lady Ethel because she feels like one of us! She’s outwardly kind, she runs stream for godsake she feels like any normal person you could find streaming on the internet not rich, not powerful, just her.

Then she became chief marketing officer and OH BOY! I HATE HER :,D

Unlike Lady Ethel where her Assholery remains firmly in fiction she feels TOO REAL! She feels too much like some real company executive you would find brushing off concerns with a customer service smile EUGH I CAN FEEL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HER VOICE STOP IT

Maybe that’s the main reason I hate her it’s just because she uses all the tactics of real companies and compared to all the fictional stuff seeing her interactions with Dashel were like a slap in the face!

Worse of all she interrupted Dashels cool backstory! Now I’m never gonna know who his daughter was! Where is she now!? Does he have any other family!? Are they stone maidens as-well!? Are they ok?!

AGHHHHHHHHHGGGHH

Basically if Lady Ethel is the sassy aunt at a dinner party she’s the one girl in highschool that would pretend to be your friend so they bully you relentlessly
