It pains me to say this as they are a band I really love, but I can’t help but think that Amaranthe will eventually have Elize as the primary focus of the band. This is because with “Viral” being rather Elize centric (and some parts with the guys ) and now “Strong” being released as a single which is just Elize and Noora it makes me think that Nils and Henrik are going to have their roles reduced even more. I really want more songs like “Unified” “The Score” and “Countdown” which have an equal amount of each member on them because I don’t see the point of having 3 vocalists if they aren’t going to all be used like they were back in the Self Titled and Nexus eras.

A Király Anna (ex-Sorronia, ex-Ideas) által alapított Mezmerized nevű, modern metált játszó formáció igencsak komoly népszerűségre tett szert, amely nem is csoda, hiszen a csapat rendkívül keményen dolgozik. 

A bandától eddig öt klipes dalnak lehettünk fül-és szemtanúi, elsőként a Desire érkezett tavaly októberben, decemberben a Satellite, januárban hallhattuk a Shutdownt, áprilisban forgattak videót a Hybridhez, legutóbb pedig múlt hónapban a Rage című nótát mutatták meg a rajongóknak.

Annáék legutóbbi hírlevelükben nem mindennapi dolgot osztottak meg a fanokkal: leszerződtek az egyik legnagyobb független metal kiadó, a Nuclear Blast és a Believe Digital közös vállalatához, a Blood Blast-hez.

“Ez az eddigi legkeményebb, legpörgősebb dalunk. GG6 vokáljai különleges hatást adnak, hiszen nálunk nem jellemző a férfi ének, vagy a hörgés. Ez a dal viszont kimondottan megkívánta és ki más lehetne alkalmasabb a feladatra, mint a műfaj egyik igen neves zenekarának a hörgőse?”

A Mezmerized első, Electrolyze című albuma szeptember 18-án kerül majd a boltokba, amelynek dallistáját és borítóját már megmutatta a zenekar.

To everyone who is bitching about Nils and Henrik not being part of the new Amaranthe track Do or Die, it is NOT part of their upcoming album.

Here is an explanation from Olof Morck about the track so everyone can calm down:

So in Summer we should hopefully have the first single from their album (which is due in September) so we will have Nils and Henrik as a part of it.
