Hi! I saw sent confession #21817 on the female fronted bands confessions blog and I figured I'd send a message to see about recommendations you had since I saw your reblog. Its kind of hard to say what I prefer but I like lots of black metal, death metal (mostly melodic), symphonic, and some doom/sludge type stuff. In terms of none metal I like lots of R&B and Blues. I'm really not picky so I don't have too many requests in terms of vocals
Hello! I hope you are having a great day/evening.
I don’t know if you prefer to listen to individual songs or whole albums so I will recommend both. When it comes to black metal I have a limited knowledge cause I am really picky but I have two suggestions:
Rotting Christ (started as black metal but they love to mix genres)
Songs: Nemecis, Athanatoi Este, Keravnos Kivernitos, The Signe of Prime Creation, Non Serviam.
Albums: Theogonia, Non Serviam, Kata ton Daimona Eaytoy
Septicflesh (started as black metal but they got more symphonic through the years)
Songs: Anubis, Portrait of a Headless Man, Persepolis, Pyramid God, The Vampire from Nazareth.
Albums: Communion, The Great Mass, Mystic Places of Dawn
Here are some thrash metal suggestions:
Warbringer
Songs: Remain Violent, Total War, Ememies of the State, Shattered Glass, Power Unsurpassed.
Albums: Woe to the Vanquished, Worlds Torn Asunder, Waking Into Nightmares
Suicidal Angels
Songs: Apocathylosis, Endless War, Bloodbath, Years of Agression, Front Gate
Albums: Bloodbath, Division of Blood, Dead Again
Here are some heavy/power metal bands that I love:
Brothers of Metal (they have folk elements too)
Songs: Yggdrasil, To the Skies and Beyound, Prophecy of Ragnarök, Freya, Powersnake.
Albums: Prophecy of Ragnarök, Emblas Saga. (they only have released two albums so far)
Dynazty (they have hard rock elements and prog elements too. It honestly depends on the song)
Songs: The Human Paradox, Incarnation, My Darkest Hour, Sultans of Sin, Presence of Mind
Albums: Titanic Mass, The Dark Delight, Renatus
Ice Nine Kills (they are heavy with a lot of metalcore and melodic hardcore)
Songs: Rocking the Boat, Grave Mistake, Communion of the Cursed, Alice, Acceptance in the Waves.
Albums: The Silver Scream, Safe Is Just a Shadow, Every Trick in the Book
And something totally different. They combine metal, rock, rap and they have some more pop “party” songs.
Hollywood Undead
Songs: Believe, Hear Me Now, Comin’ in Hot, California Dreaming, Bad Moon.
Albums: Notes from the Underground, American Tragedy, Five.
Outside from metal I listen to some Pop artists like Demi Lovato, Avril Lavinge, 5 Seconds of Summer. And some classical music. So let me know if you are intrested in something like that.
Feel free to ask me or message me anytime. I would love to know how you liked my suggestions and if you already new them or knew some of them.

Honestly, idk what it is but lately I find myself not really enjoying very much music. Like I’ll listen to bands and artists that I really like and I just get bored and end up turning it off. Idk what the problem is. I’m assuming that I just need to branch out and find some new stuff to check out but I’m not sure where to start. Has anyone else ever felt like this?
Mod Note* Whoever sent this, feel free to message me on my page (@whoreforthecoldworld) and I will be happy to give you recomendations ❤️

Ice Nine Kills have very creative music videos. Especially the ones from their latest album “The Silver Scream”.

While I know that image shouldn’t be a big deal, I can’t help but wish that bands would be more creative with music videos. Obviously I know not all of them have the money to do that and sometimes its record labels and stuff making the choices but I’d just like to see more storylines or cool imagery. Amaranthe is one band I can think of that has always had fun videos (even if they are pretty cheesy) and I always enjoyed Infected Rain’s videos and imagery as well. I’d just prefer to see something other than live performances put together or the band performing in an old warehouse. Sometimes the official lyric videos look cooler than the actual music videos.
