Finished painting the Dread Pageant. Overall, I’m happy with how they came out. Tried out a few slightly different techniques and color formulas. Some I’m happy with, others not so much, but overall I’m pleased.

The forces of the Dark Prince Slaanesh rise again with a new Battletome and more
The forces of the Dark Prince Slaanesh rise again with a new Battletome and more #warhammer #ageofsigmar #warhammercommunity
The Dark Prince Slaanesh might be incarcerated but its mortal legions continue to try to break it free. A new hero has joined that quest, the Lord of Hubris. This master duelist is flamboyant looking for close combat and will even let the enemy first strike on the combat phase forcing them to target his unit. You’ll be able to find all his rules in Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh. You’ll also…

@skxrbrand you've probs seen this, but Karanak has a cult in AOS, the Claws of Karanak! They dress up as beasts and fucking maul you.
"Some say that the Era of the Beast has led to an upsurge of this feral cult, while others attribute this to Khorne's rage at the resurgence of his hated brother Slaanesh's armies, and his demand for warriors to hunt Hedonites. The 'hound-marked' are instinctively drawn to others of their ilk, forming packs ruled by fell-handed Packlords and guided by the half-daemonic goliaths known as Hounds of Wrath."

Another small tip is if you're planning on doing a mostly kitbashed army like this combo boxes like vanguards and combat patrols can pay dividends for a very long time. Especially ones with a lot of models like the hedonites of slaanesh one or the Chaos Space Marines one. I bought the starter pack with necrons and space marines from last edition all the way back in June when I was doing mordax and I'm still pulling from it.
gotcha gotcha gotcha gotcha

Khorne Berserker of the World Eaters Chaos Space Marine Legion.
I’ve been slacking off on posting these here on tumbler..
I am pretty excited to see that there is a World Eaters Codex, along with NEW plastic Khorne Berserkers, in the pipe... Not because I care about the World Eaters, at all... but because if they're doing a World Eaters Codex, it means they're finally getting around to giving the other chaos gods some attention in the 41s5 Millennium... Death Guard (Nurgle) and Thousands Sons (Tzeentch) have had codexes and their own lines of specialist troops for a while. Surely this indicates and Emperor's Children codex (and plastic Noise Marines - not that I NEED MORE of those!?) could be not too far off as well...?
I had hoped it might have been around the same time as the new Hedonites of Slaanesh Battle Tome for Age of Sigmar... since they adding new Slaanesh Daemons and upgrading the models of some older ones... alas, it was not to be.

The Keeper of Secrets has long had a desire to lay low Skarbrand -- that monstrosity so powerful he once sought to slay Khorne himself -- and has dueled him to a standstill twice over. On the corpse-strewn fields outside of Rantula Sigmaris, Helbane’s longspear impaled Skarbrand through the neck just as his axes took an arm in return - moments before the ebb and flow of a Stormcast assault forced them both apart. Under Vostargi Mont’s burning mountain, Shalaxi disarmed Skarbrand, only for the Bloodthirster to hurl himself backwards into a river of lava to evade the killing blow; the incandescent heat of his rage protected him from being incinerated, while a cascade of boiling lava put Shalaxi to flight. Now the scent of the Exiled One is strong in Shalaxi’s sensorium once more, and another showdown between the two Greater Daemons seems inevitable. It is a confrontation that not only Slaanesh, but also the Blood God, will watch most keenly.
