Of course,someone tried to wander around. Sorta failed. Nearby chirping and squeaking were heard followed by paws digging within the ground. It seems like he was caught in spiky bushes and..is trying to escape. Oh. Wait. There he is. He just ambled over like nothing happened. Like he didn't just get pricked at all. Alfornada Gym Leader Tulip the Canary gives Silver a Gym Test that tests his psychic abilities, they battle, then Silver meets Elite Four member Poppy the Poodle!

Blaze yawned and stretched as she got up, then looked over to her left. Silver was still asleep. He muttered something about apples, and Blaze smiled. He was so cute.

The cat got some fresh clothes and got dressed in the bathroom, then went to the living room of Tulip's house and waited for breakfast.

Silver woke up and got dressed, then met with Blaze in the living room. She kissed Star's forehead and they squeaked, then looked at her with their huge blue eyes and purred. They fluttered around Blaze's head and she laughed, then grabbed them and hugged them.

"She's so adorable..." Silver muttered to himself.

Tulip and her Pokémon looked elegant as ever, even after just waking up. They went downstairs and saw the teens in the living room.

"Good morning. Did you two sleep well?" Tulip asked.

"Yep!" Silver said excitedly. They smiled with their fangs showing and Blaze giggled.

"Have I ever told you how cute your fangs are?" She told him.

Silver blushed and smiled. "Hehe, thanks."

While the three of them talked for a while, Charlie walked into the living room and over to Silver, blushing, and gave them a Pokémon egg.

"Charlie, where did you find this?" The hedgie asked.

"Wait, where's Scorch?" Blaze asked.

The aforementioned Ceruledge walked into the living room holding another egg. She gave it to Blaze and blushed.

"Awww, they're parents!" Blaze cooed.

"Gross." Silver groaned. "They had s–"

"Why don't we have breakfast?" Tulip interrupted.

Tulip made breakfast for the teens and their Pokémon, then she helped Silver hone his psychic powers.

"Focus. Transmutation takes practice, Silver."

"Unh! Can't... focus..." Silver let out an exhausted sigh and fell from his floating position. "Can't clear my mind... Okay, one more try... Hmmm..."

Silver closed their eyes and the flower that was set in front of them started to float. It glowed and turned into silver.

"You did it!" Blaze cheered.

The hedgehog opened his eyes and saw the metallic flower in front of him. "I... I did it..." He was mentally drained from the transmutation and fell to his back. Sweat dripped down his forehead and he panted heavily. "Huff... Huff... Can we... Huff... take... Huff... a break?"

"Of course. You seem exhausted. You can't train your mind if you don't have the energy to." Tulip smiled.

"Thanks."

The psychics took a break and spent some time warming up for the Gym Battle. As they were practicing, Silver's PE teacher, a gray cheetah woman in a black tracksuit, knocked on Tulip's front door.

"Professor Dendra!" Silver exclaimed. He hated PE, but Dendra was really kind and considerate, and adjusted her grading scale for him to meet his physical capabilities.

"Hey, Silver. Tulip told me you're going to battle her. I brought over a friend and fellow classmate of yours to watch the battle." Dendra walked to the side and revealed Nemona.

"Silver! You've already gotten six Badges?!" The girl shouted excitedly.

"Owww..." Silver muttered as he covered his ears.

"Sorry, sorry. Do you want a warmup battle?"

"Hell yeah! I'm gonna win!" Silver smiled determinedly and showed their fangs.

The teens were about to leave when Tulip created a subspace for the battle to take place.

"Whoa! That's so trippy!" Silver exclaimed with a huge grin.

Silver sent out Evergreen to sit and watch with Blaze, Tulip, and Dendra, and Nemona gasped when she saw them.

"YOU HAVE A CELEBI?!"

"Haha, yeah... um..."

"Can I battle them?" Nemona asked excitedly.

"Uh, sure." Silver brought Evergreen over and sent them out as his first Pokémon.

Nemona excitedly sent out Rocky, who hit an Accelerock before promptly getting defeated by a Giga Drain.

"So cool!" She squealed. "Go, Slimy!"

Nemona's Sliggoo chirped excitedly and didn't seem scared at all.

"Use Aerial Ace!" Silver shouted.

Evergreen hit a powerful Aerial Ace that would've defeated Slimy if not for her Focus Sash.

"Use Counter!"

Slimy's body bounced back towards Evergreen and slammed them to the ground, defeating them.

"Holy shit..." Silver burst into wheezing laughter and recalled Evergreen.

"Yes! Slimy, you did it!" Nemona hugged Slimy and smiled with a bright grin that showed her fangs, then turned to Silver with a friendly smile. "You okay?"

Silver was short of breath and his face was red from how hard he was laughing. He gasped for air and clutched his chest. Breathing was practically impossible, so he got his inhaler out of his pocket and used it. "Yep, just gotta calm down."

Nemona smiled in relief. "That's good."

"Okay, um, Sunlight!" The hedgie shouted.

Sunlight defeated Slimy easily, then Pawpaw, then Quackers. Nemona smiled and told Silver she was proud of them, then tried to find the exit of the trippy psychidelic battlefield.

Tulip returned her living room to normal, then healed the teens' Pokémon.

"That was AMAZING!!!" Nemona exclaimed.

"Heh, thanks."

Nemona said goodbye and left, then Silver, Dendra, Blaze, and Tulip teleported to the Gym, and Tulip checked Silver in.

"Normally we'd have emotion spectrum practice as the Gym Test, but you're psychic, so we'll do something different." The Gym Leader told Silver.

"What's my test?" The hedgehog aaked excitedly.

"Why don't you figure it out?" Tulip smiled.

Silver's eyes started to glow cyan. He searched Tulip's mind and found his test. "Use the following moves: Aeroblast, Aura Sphere, Aurora Beam, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Swift, Mirror Shot, Mystical Fire..." He paused to breathe. "Power Gem, Psybeam, Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, Thunderbolt, Venoshock, and Water Pulse?"

Tulip nodded. "I'll give you a hint: focus on your desired outcome."

Silver nodded, then cleared most of the thoughts floating in their head. "Wind... wind..." A vicious gust of wind blew from their hands. It ripped some dirt from the ground and scattered a group of Skiploom.

"Sorry!" He shouted.

The wind died down, and Silver turned around to face Tulip.

"How was that for an Aeroblast?" The hedgehog asked proudly.

"That was amazing!" Blaze high-fived Silver and grinned.

"One down, seventeen to go." Tulip smiled.

Silver quickly used all 18 moves required to pass the Gym Challenge, but was way too exhausted afterwards. Sweat drenched his shirt and he fell to the ground, panting. "Did... I... pass?"

"Si. Do you want some water?" Tulip asked.

"Yes... please..."

Tulip got a bottle of water for Silver and he gulped it down quickly.

"Whew, that was fun! Just..." He paused to breathe. "Give me... a few minutes."

While Silver was recovering from the Gym Challenge, Blaze looked at the Pokémon Eggs she and Silver were given. She and her Pokémon kept them warm, and she looked so happy.

"Wait, where did Cedar and Robin go?"

"Probably the PC app on your phone." Tulip told her.

Blaze nearly dropped the eggs, but Star used their psychic powers to keep them safe. "Wha-where did you come from?!"

"Sorry, I have a habit of sneaking up on people. Anyway, check the PC app."

Blaze checked the app and found Cedar and Robin playing in a simulation. She tapped a button that had a Scovillain and Carolina's Pokéball glowed.

"Whoa!!! Okay, Carolina, I'm going to put you away for a while, okay? Robin has Flame Body so he can help hatch the eggs."

Carolina's Pokéball dematerialized, Robin's rematerialized, and Blaze sent him out. He saw the eggs and incubated them. Star and Charlie used their psychic powers to slightly speed up the incubation process, and Blaze gasped.

"A-amazing!"

"Charlie!" Silver called out. "We're gonna battle Tulip now!"

Charlie nodded and ran over to Silver.

"I'll only use three Pokémon! I'm that confident!" Silver grinned. "Sunlight, Justice, and Charlie!"

"Heh, I like your style, Silver. Go, Farigiraf!" Tulip shouted.

"Go, Justice! Use Night Slash!" Silver yelled.

Justice hit a really strong Night Slash thanks to his Sharpness Ability.

"Use Crunch!"

Farigiraf lowered Justice's Defense, but Justice still managed to defeat him.

"Good job, Farigiraf. Take a rest. Go, Gardevoir!"

Justice was lovestruck by the beautiful Gardevoir, but Silver was determined to win. "Remember when you showed me your Pokémon earlier this morning? Hehehe, Justice, use Poison Jab!"

"Dazzling Gleam!"

The moves hit at the same time. Gardevoir got poisoned, and Justice became unable to battle.

"Good job, Justice. Sunlight, I choose you! Use Shadow Ball!"

Sunlight wasn't able to defeat Gardevoir, but the Dazzling Gleam didn't do even half of Sunlight's HP. Poison damage brought Gardevoir's HP lower, and another Shadow Ball defeated Gardevoir.

"Go, Espathra! Lumina Crash!"

Silver's eyes glowed cyan and they smirked like an anime protagonist, then smiled determinedly. "Sunlight, become a solar eclipse! Terastallize!"

Sunlight became a Dark-Type, so Espathra's Lumina Crash did nothing, and Silver used that to their advantage with a follow-up Tera Blast that defeated Espathra.

"You're stronger than I could've foreseen, Silver. No wonder Arceus has taken a liking to you. Go, Florges!" Tulip grinned. "Bloom under the sun, open your third eye. Terastallize!"

Florges became a Psychic-Type, but used Moonblast, which Silver switched Charlie into just in time.

Florges used Chilling Water, much to Silver's surprise, but Charlie hit a Shadow Ball that barely scratched Florges. Silver switched tactics and used Psyshock, which did more, despite being not very effective. Another Chilling Water should have taken Charlie down, but he wasn't ready to give up.

"It's no use! She's too strong..." Silver muttered.

"Use Moonblast!" Tulip shouted.

As the ball of light shot towards Charlie, Silver remembered meeting Blaze. Was it destiny that brought them together? Destiny... destiny... Silver's face lit up as he remembered a move that Venice's Drifblim taught Charlie. "Use Destiny Bond!"

The ball of light hit the Fire Warrior Pokémon and his eyes glowed a sinister violet. Florges' eyes glowed violet, her mouth opened in horror, and both Pokémon fell.

"You okay, Char?" Silver asked with a sweet smile.

"Marou..." He muttered tiredly.

"Rest up, bud."

Tulip recalled Florges, then grinned. "That was the most fun I've had in a long time! All of your Pokémon were star players, and your harmony was beautiful!"

"Uh, thanks? I just improvised." The hedgie blushed a bit and smiled.

"You are definitely worthy of the Alfornada Badge." Tulip floated the badge over to Silver and they stuck it on their badge jacket.

"Why don't I take you two back to the Gym?" Tulip offered.

Silver nodded, then he and Blaze got teleported back. He got dizzy and fell to the ground.

"I can see the stars..." He mumbled with a little chuckle.

"You okay?" Tulip asked.

"Just dizzy. Luckily no vertigo." Silver smiled. He shook his head and got less dizzy, then saw someone familiar. "Hey, Rika!"

The woman turned around and saw the hedgehog, then smiled. "How's your Gym Challenge going, Silver?"

"Rika, who's that?" A little voice asked. A little lavender-gray poodle girl with huge eyes looked at the hedgehog.

"Aww, hi, what's your name?" Silver smiled.

"I'm Poppy of the Elite Four!" The girl grinned with confidence. "Are you a calendar?"

"Yes, he's a Challenger." Rika told Poppy. He turned back to Silver and smiled. "Don't underestimate Poppy. She's a real menace."

"I'm a menace!" Poppy giggled. "My Tinkie-ton will crush you!"

"I don't doubt it." Silver smiled.

The Elite Four members said goodbye and left, then Tulip left, then Silver got verified for victory.

"The final Gym is at... dammit... Glaseado Mountain." Silver muttered.

"At least you'll be able to breathe there now." Blaze said with a smile.

"Yeah, but it'll be so cold... and my best Pokémon against Ice-Types are Charlie and Justice..."

"I'll trade you some Fire-Types for temporary use." Blaze told him.

Silver smiled, then sent Pepper, Pecky, and Sunlight over. Blaze gave him Coal, Scorch, and Sol.

"Thanks. Time to train!" Silver grinned.

The teens stayed in Alfornada so Silver could get used to training Sol, then made their way to Montenevera in the morning after breakfast.

Also some sad news from my household this week. Joel's hedgie boy, Henry, is going to be euthanized today. He's 5.5 years old and had a good long life. He's been growing small tumors on his chest, neck, and under his front legs for the past 6~ months. He kept behaving normally all this time, and the tumors grew quite slowly, so we kept up with his meds and let him keep kicking along. But the last few weeks, he's almost totally stopped running on his wheel and isn't very active at all anymore. So we decided it's time to say goodbye before he gets any worse.

Oh hey! I was just taking a break, but ill come around once in a while. If you want, this ask could even be a fanfic right here! Sorry if this is a bit of a drabble, my writing skills have rusted a little.

Amy was standing in front of a relaxed, peaceful, half-asleep Sonic. He was laying under a tree, making Amy think he was oblivious to her presence.

"So you gonna just stand there or are you gonna kiss me?" He mumbled, looking up to smirk at a blush-red Amy Rose. They've just started a newfound relationship, and Amy was even shyer than Sonic expected. After years of chasing after him, she didn't really expect that he'd...say I love you...

"Yeah...no. You don't deserve a kiss." Amy said. The truth was, she didn't think she was good at kissing, but that fact she tried to hide from her blue boyfriend. Sonic looked at Amy with a baby pout and got up from his spot underneath the tree.

"This again? Come on baby, Rouge told me everything. What are you so shy about? You know I'm just as inexperienced as you are." Sonic whispered in Amy's ear as he hugged his sakura girlfriend. "Let's try this again. You gonna kiss me or what?" He leaned back to see the small hedgie's reaction.

"O-okay..." she squeaked. Sonic smiled sweetly this time and grabbed her chin. He slowly brought himself to eye-level with her, before Amy had had enough.

'OH MY CHAOS JUST KISS ME ALREADY!' And she grabbed his face and smacked her lips onto his. She felt Sonic's smug grin against the kiss, she rolled her eyes to see that his own emerald pair were closed. They let go and Amy, who was red, either because that kiss was breathtaking, literally, or because Sonic was just that good of a kisser.

"So, we should practice more. You know?" Amy jade widened upon looking at him. Before she could respond, the stupid cocky blue hedgehog ran off.

He knocked a cordless drill off the table. “Ever since we moved here it’s just been secrets! You used to talk to me, about more than just ‘ get a paper route’ and ‘ you’ve gotta listen to your teacher” and ‘did you feed the dog’ and that crap.” “Mike,” Pat said, pained. “Just listen.” “To what? You’re not going to tell me what’s really going on, why you and Barb fought or why we’re going camping in Nebraska in November, and you told Courtney all of it, I bet.” Mike hunched his shoulders. “ I wish you’d just stop pretending you cared about me, when you like her more. You could at least admit it.” “That’s not true,” Mike tooks a little bit of glee in how upset it made his dad. Served him right for ignoring him, for lying, for being so obvious about his favorite kid when he’d only known Courtney for like a year. “ I know, I haven’t been… honest with you, Mike, but let me show you--” “Show me when you get back from your trip,” Mike shouted. “I’m going to Jakeem’s.” He could probably crash on his friend’s couch. Maybe. It was only for the weekend, anyways. He took off running before his dad could stop him, the cold air hitting his lungs hard. He hated it, it was never this cold in California.

“It’s late for children to be out,” a cheery voice called out to him, and Mike looked up. Some lady-- he thought she’d been at the football game, stood on the sidewalk next to her car. Yeah, she’d been there, cheering for the team, for her daughter. He’d seen her when he’d gone looking for his dad and his dad had left to teach Courtney how to drive. “I’m fine,” Mike said with a shrug. Jakeem was three blocks over from here, no distance at all. “Oh, I’m sure, Michael,” the lady said. “But you shouldn’t be out alone. Let’s go have a chat with your dad.” Great. Another busy-body adult who thought she knew What Was Best. Mike turned to walk away, but she was faster, grabbing his arm. “Hey, let go,” he yelped, tugging against her grip. The lady paid him no attention, towing him back towards the garage. His sneakers caught on a bit of uneven pavement, and he saw, suddenly, what she had in her other hand. A freakin’ crossbow, like she was trying to be an extra in the Avengers or Hunger Games something. “I said let go, I can walk, I’m not two.” “Mike--” the door behind Pat spilled out light, enough to see by. The shadows made it hard to tell, but Mike knew something was wrong when he saw the way his dad froze. “Hello, Stripesy,” Crossbow-lady said, a sharp grin evident in her voice. “Inside.” “Let Mike go,” Pat said, fast, his hands half raised. Mike felt something curl in his stomach, worse than anxiety. “This isn’t about him.” Mike tried again to pull his arm from her grip, but it was like iron. “What--what’s going on? Dad?” “You should have kept all the children in the dark,” the woman said, shaking her head. “Involving them in this-- no fit parent would have.” She kicked the block holding the door open so it closed the three of them off from the dark and the cold and the safety outside. Mike watched the color drain from his dad’s face. “Tigress,” he said and wow, that would be a really cool code name if she wasn’t still holding him by the arm with fingernails like claws. “Just let him go. He’s not part of any of this.” “What’s this?” Mike yelped. “Quiet,” she snapped. “Don’t hurt him,” Pat said. “I’ll surrender. Just don’t hurt the kids.” Tigress said, cold and casual. “No can do, Dugan. I have my instructions.” she let go of Mike’s arm and he stumbled, only making it a step before she had him again, this time by the neck. The crossbow came up as his Pat started to reach for a little remote on the table. “Ah, ah, none of that.” “Dad!” Mike squeaked, terror fogging his brain. “It’s gonna be fine, Mikey.” Pat promised, still holding out his hands. “Don’t lie to your son,” Tigress said. “Honesty is important to lasting relationships. Not that you need to worry about that.” Mike’s heart beat so loudly in his ears he could hardly hear. All he could see was his dad, looking between him and the creepy lady and the crossbow. “I love you, Mikey.” His dad charged, swinging the first weapon he could find. The last thing Mike saw before the hold on his neck tightened and twisted with a crack was the arrow sticking out of his father’s shoulder.

Hedgey is back from a wonderful weekend of fun with my BFF 😁 mount n blade ⚔️ was awesome 👏 I had a lovely time and yes James did tickle me for the first time. All I will say is that he is FAR more skilled than I thought he’d be 😳 I hedgied A LOT 😂🙈 he kept Automatticly finding my weaknesses and his teases OMG his teases! “Tickletickleytickletickle who’ve I got? Who’s adorable? Who’s cute? Coochi coochi coo” 🤭🤯 I was not expecting him to be THAT GOOD! I was such a mess 😅🙈 giggling and squeaking and going bright red ☺️ I loved it 😆 he made me admit terrible things 🤭 and made me ask for tickling EEEEEK! He said he really enjoyed making me blush 😳🙈 and he has REALLY long fingers 🖐 oh but I got my revenge in spades 😈 he may be my newest apprentice but I’m still the master.....at least with him anyway 😂 he doesn’t have the kink but I love that he’s started tickling me 😁 great weekend all round and now only 17 days until I turn 28 too 😝
