kida tired of the flippant, jokingly rude positivity i’ve been seeing recently in tumblr posts. loving yourself is cool, self-hatred is for total losers! if you’re scared of being a burden or annoying people that’s a YOU problem, you just have to open your eyes and realize that you’re LOVED! etc, etc it all feels not only very empty (loved by whom? i want names.) but also very... intent on putting the blame on the person suffering, as if their mental problems are a result of them just making it all up while bored. you are not going to teach a fledgling little bird to fly by attempting to use it in place of the ball in a tennis serve. as this is bad for the bird
