Hey everyone! I wrote a little fanfic on Nick inspired by @heterosexual-reyna fanfic! Enjoy!

Nico was a gay man, he had a boyfriend, Will. One day, Nico had a single thought, he realized that he wasn’t actually gay. He realized that W*ll S*lace had turned him gay! He should’ve known! Once he realized this, he broke up with W*ll, and he then bought a straight pride flag, went onto Twitter and demanded a straight pride month and parade, and announced to all media platforms that he had chosen to no longer be gay, but straight. Nico then decided to rename himself, for Nico is far to gay of a name. He decided on Nick; a masculine and alpha name. Yes, being an alpha male would make sure he never gets tricked into being gay again. After changing his name, but not in a trans way mind you, his cishet alpha male ass went to find a girlfriend. But there’s a problem. There’s so many girls that want to be with him! There’s Reyna, Thalia, Rachel, Sally, Annabeth, Juniper, Mellie, Lu, Meg, Bianca(I decided she didn’t die cus if she did Nick’s trauma would’ve made him gay with no return❤️), Persephone and Hazel. He is very troubled on who he should date, so he decides to date them all. What an icon!

pt 1! hazel paced around the room as nico stormed into the barracks. her dusky eyes were filled with stress, dark circles forming under them. she was visibly stressed, muttering to herself. he slowly walked to his sister; he couldn’t startle her. like bianca always did. “hazel, are you okay?” he asked. no reply. “gods, you need to tell me. you’re hiding shit!”

Pt 2! she looked at her brother. if she told him what she’d been hiding, what she’d hid all her life, from her mother, from frank, from sammy, even from herself, he would cast her out; it would all be over. over for their family. “there’s no point, i know how you’ll react.” she whispered, her voice soft and high, sadness filling her tone. nico saw something else in her eyes. guilt. “you have done nothing wrong. you are an amazing person, hazel. you inspire me. you can tell me.” “I-. I’m gay.”

Pt 3 (brotp!hazico fluff!). nico couldn’t believe it; she was just like him. she was just like him. “m-mm-me too.” he stammered. the words left him like a bullet. “what?” hazel’s voice was louder, more hopeful. he looked down at his little sister; she inspired him everyday, her sacrifice in the 90s, the way she gave everything away for the world. “me too.” hazel grabbed him and pulled him into a hug. together, they cried. for once, it wasn’t melancholic. it was joyful.

"she inspired him everyday", noooo 😭 this is so good, i love sibling dynamics so much, especially when unconditional love is at the forefront of the emotions they're experiencing! aaah i love this!!

Her Changing Perception

Summary: Nico tells Hazel his secret. She doesn't understand, but she's trying. And she's getting better.

A.N: This story addresses an idea that's been swimming around in my head for a while. If Nico has such a high level of internalized homophobia, then Hazel probably absorbed some of the attitudes of her time as well. I hope that this is well-done. 

Pairings: Focuses on the sibling relationship between Hazel and Nico, but if you're wondering, the minor pairing is Nico/Conner (don't ask me why but those two work really well in my head)
