cat my bestie. before i go down this rabbit hole i need to ask you because i feel like you’d know. do you know if mulder and scully have their own cars that they drive (not rentals!) because this has been irking me for months.

this is such a funny topic for you to have your #girl #wild #corruptionarc over. Anyway it's my belief that they both have their own cars cuz like. how do they drive to work otherwise. I'm also fully confident that scully definitely does because im not sure when but i feel sure that ive seen her drive the same car consistently. not as sure about mulder but again. it feels like it'd be impractical if they didn't have cars

#idk maybe i just rely on cars more than I need to lmao i can't imagine using a taxi or something to get to work every day #i kinda can't imagine any adult person who can afford it not having a car but that's just my problem #asks #hashtagpuella

those are actually two of my favorite classes and ugh stem my beloathed. i do love pastels an unhealthy amount, my fave color is light purple rn. I AM SO COLD ALL THE TIME I COULD BE IN MY ROOM WITH THE DOORS CLOSED, NO FAN, NO AC AND I'D STILL BE LIKE "oh goodness it's quite chilly up in here"

cat it just occurred to me that we like. fully have the monopoly on txf amvs. i have not seen any other ones.

you're right literally the only other ones I've ever seen were those like. youtube ones or whatever that were made in like 2015. idk what it is? are we just spoiled by the sheer number of amv makers in the spn fandom?? is the txf fandom on tumblr just too small?? what is it. either way we're sooo iconic and cool for our work we are single handedly carrying the txf amv workload on our backs

cat…. just tried to watch the next episode of txf (i skipped the bugs who eat peoples brains episode <3) it’s not great. idek what to do now… my expectations were so high for some reason…

NOOO that's the episode im on i was also so excited for it it's called trust no 1 and everything i thought it was gonna be a fun interesting plot episode im so distraught. the bugs episode sucked btw you didn't miss much :/

okay cat. demanding your opinions on the dynamic between the members of tfw and mulder and scully. xfilesnatural real.

ok. oooh ok. I'm assuming when u say tfw you mean cas sam and dean and not jack so I'm just gonna do those three. something crucial to these dynamics: are we assuming, if they met, that the show xfiles exists in the supernatural universe? If so, it changes a lot. I'm going to make the assumption that it does not, and Dean and Sam have no prior knowledge of who mulder and scully are.

ok im pretty sure we've talked before about that mulder/scully and destiel would see too much of themselves in each other and feel called out. so yeah there's that.

dean and mulder: ok but here's the thing mulder is sorta Dean-coded to me and vice versa so i think they'd absolutely HATE each other. It'd be like a dog looking at itself in the mirror and barking and growling at it's reflection. That's Dean and Mulder. Dean would develop a complex about outperforming mulder in like masculinity or whatever and mulder would just. not care.

Mulder and Cas: Like I said I think mulder would be kinda amused by cas like he'd make some sort of stupid pop culture reference like Dean does all the time and Cas would do his confused head tilt and squint and mulder would laugh a little at it but overall he'd like him

Mulder and Sam: I think mulder would really hit it off with Sam like he's not enough like him to be ticked off by him but they've got enough in common that they can bond over it. they'd be weirdgirl freaks together I think. I bet Sam fixated on UFO sightings at some point in his life and researched the hell out of them and i think they'd talk about it.

Scully and dean: I think at first Dean would do his performative routine of flirting or whatever but he'd drop it very quickly. Scully would inevitably at some point flex her nearly genius levels of smarts and he'd be a little intimidated by it but he's also smart and he talks about some super ingenuitive thing he did growing up or something and she's kinda impressed. She'd also get along with Dean because she'd know it would annoy mulder. She'd also also maybe slightly piss Dean off because of how skeptical and critical of everything she is.

Scully and cas: BEST friends. Scully thinks he's fun and also she asks him philosophical questions about religion and fate and the universe. He'd find her conversation sooo compelling I think. She's insanely smart and he's got the knowledge of like millions of years of existance so they'd bond and bounce right off each other. Obviously scully would have to get over the hurdle of believing it all but im not getting into how she would handle being thrown into supernatural's insane universe shwigsishsjs

Scully and Sam: scully is sorta Samcoded tbh and I think it'd be a similar situation to the dean and mulder one but less overt because scully and sam aren't as confrontational about it. Like they'd see so much of themselves in each other that it'd make them uncomfortable but they wouldn't actually butt heads about it. Shared traits of theirs include but not limited to: past of having bodily autonomy invaded, inner religious conflict, feeling inherently "wrong", etc.

Overall as a group I think they'd start out like. not able to even function as a group they're completely uncoordinated and none of them can deal with Other People that aren't the ones they're used to being with. maybe at first. I can't believe I just wrote this all out btw
