I've been doodling Haros recently. Haven't felt super motivated recently but have been super obsessed with this floating terminal

"Gunpla"?: The Entire Haro Collection

Above, you have the Haro Basic line (with one exception). Then, we have a new line, of Ball Haro, Sangoku Soketsuden Haro, Momoharo, and Zakrello. Finally, we have the Tri-Star Haros. That's most of the Haropla line in its entirety (plus one from the SD SS line). These images above comprise the main Haro line... well, minus a few. I'll get to those. You'll note of course i got 3x the tri star haro so i could have one of each number. All of these have been panel lined, and some of them have had molotow liquid chrome applied to some limbs. Oh yeah, i believe they have all been buffed to 10000 grit with Godhand sponges. I believe the Ball Haro also has some GM154 metallic green gundam marker on the eyes. And you might be saying "wait, aren't there two separate green haros that aren't from the SDSS line?" and the answer is Yes! The Haro Basic Green is sitting on another shelf alongside my HGTO RX-78-2:

But that guy can't open his mouth, so he hangs out on that shelf. Here's some more angles

Finally, here are the Haro suits! These guys were a real joy to put together. First up we have the Haroloader, this thing was a joy!

This has been panel lined. The arms were panel lined with molotow liquid chrome and some surfaces coated in it. Also, silver and bronze sharpies in some places? I'm surprised those came out looking half decent at all but the effect is kinda subtle and hard to see in pictures. Maybe you can pick out which surfaces are which? Next up, the Harofitter:

I forgot to put the cat ears up on the Harofitter for the photoshoots i was doing today :( Anyway this guy has also been panel lined, and the little roller has been coated in one of the metallic dark blue gundam markers. You can see in the second photo it is "working on" the injection mold machine (a review for another post). Finally, the Haroloader:

So an update on the haro obsession. I have these two pictured above otw and a special edition purple and yellow too!!! All buildable little buddies I cannot wait to have.

I've also started building the 30 minute sisters bandai line bc who doesn't love Mecha girls.

Completely forgot her name but apparently she has a sister and the models are built to hold hands???? 😭 Amazing. I love hyper fixating

Another Haropla!!! They're really fun little kits, and the clear ones look really pretty, showing a lot of the detail of the construction.

Bandai's green plastic is also fluorescent, and much more so than any of their other plastic colours!

@haropla YEAH!!! they’re really practical because sometimes there’s just sooo many runners and it’ hard to keep track esp when they have the same colors. personally i plan to buy a few file holders at some discount store!

ALSO ITS SO FUNNY DNSFQNFSQNFQS i used my grandpa’s file holder for darilbalde and i still did this whenever still needed the runner

I finally got my hands on a beargguy III :) The box came a little squished but I got a good deal on it so I'm not mad just a little disappointed bc it wasn't sold as a "damaged box" item.

When building him I broke the pcaps that act as his "elbows" so I had to fix that with some milliput- the plastic on this one feels a bit more brittle than the newer kits I've built but I kinda expected that much.

I definitely want to paint him bc I'm not a huge fan of yellow and he will stick out like a sore thumb with the ideas I have for my other "shelf display" kits opposed to one's I'm putting in dioramas but I still don't have much practice with the airbrush I have some tho! I was able to practice on some spoons a couple weeks ago and I'm feeling good!! I think I'm going to use one of my haros as my first real kit practice; I haven't decided was color combo I should go with, I'm going to paint the momoharo and one of the tri-stars in their original colors but I want to do something funky with the third one.

I have started to work on my Lfrith but I'm going slow bc my partner is building his aerial with me and he can't build as long as I can. The pollen count is finally low enough I could try and get to painting today.
