Sure! Hanako have too much to work with, since he is the main character, so I’ll focus on the thing I love the most about him: His inexperience when it comes to caring about others.

Hanako put up thick walls between himself and his peers, rarely connecting to others, be they humans or supernaturals.

Helping students and keeping them safe is his duty, his punishment to atone, not something he personally wants, his own personal view is far more ‘cold’, Amane’s empathy was destroyed after he became a supernatural, beaten down after sixty years of being dead.

What he tells Kou here is true.

He has shown time and time again, people’s life isn’t particularly important to him, he’ll exchange one life for another without guilt for the person he doomed because of personal preference, and had destroyed yorishiros since the start of the manga, knowing of the danger of doing so, for his own gains.

Before the manga story starts, Hanako is alone.

He plays with the other mysteries but he doesn’t consider anyone his friend. He keeps a distance even from Tsuchigamori, unaware Amane’s moon rock is his old teacher’s yorishiro and seemingly not talking to him much, only looking for Tsuchigomori when he needs him for something.

He is apathetic to practically everything, drowning in his own misery: Tsukasa is the only one that can break him out of his apathetic state, and he terrifies Hanako. Even though he is the titular character, we never see Hanako’s boundary because he doesn’t want to face his yorishiro, finding it much easier to hide and spend his afterlife in the bathroom instead.

Tsukasa was important to Amane, and while he is important to Hanako as well, Tsukasa is rarely perceived as his brother, his presence is mostly treated as the personification of Hanako’s guilt. Hanako hasn’t tried to understand Tsukasa’s feelings or expressed worry about his well-being: out of all his comflicting emotions, his priority is usually to look away.

Hanako has spent his afterlife in this limbo of running away and not connecting with anyone, but eventually, he met two people he got very attached to: Kou and Nene.

He loves them a lot, much more than he loves himself.

He will try his very best to face Tsukasa, the embodiment of the trauma he has been running away from, to keep them safe.

Most of the time, Hanako fails: he is too terrified to act, he panics.

He can’t help when Tsukasa is his oponent.

Even outside his past, there are still things Hanako can’t help with.

The guilt and panic and pain of having no use for someone he wants to help hurt, but Hanako doesn’t run away from this pain.

He tries to help anyways, to reach out as best he can.

And Kou’s trouble linger in his mind, when the kid gets depressed again, Hanako try to help him again.

He want Kou to feel better.

He may have said “He is kind of like you, isn’t he, No.2?” but he doesn’t care about Yako or her attachment to Misaki, his attention is on Kou the second he finish his request: interested in his reaction, not her feelings.

He is selfish though, he cares about their feelings, but he mostly listens to his own, which is most obvious to see with Nene.

In the clock keepers arc he mentioned he kept Nene’s lifespan secret because he wants her to live her best life in blissful ignorance, but he doesn’t make her the priority, he makes himself: He is aware she hates toilet duty, no one enjoys being forced to waste their evenings cleaning a bathroom, but he likes it.

He rarely enjoys things, so he can’t let go of it. He can’t sacrifice this hint of joy for the sake of Nene living “her best life”.

He adores spending time with her, and since he has very little self-worth, he is convinced she would never spend time with him by her own volition, he needs to use the cleaning duty to keep her close.

Is why he gets so happy when she calls him a friend.

This love, this care, is something Hanako really wants from her.

But is also something Hanako doesn’t think he deserves.

He can get frustrated by how much they love him, by how distorted their view is, as if he is a ‘good ghost’. He loves their kindness but he feel greedy for it, he loves their optimist but he is constantly looking down at them for it.

He loves them but he hates himself. So he sabotage himself.

He tells Kou and Nene point blank his bad traits “I am dead already. I don’t care if someone dies or not.” “I killed someone and you shouldn’t excuse it” “I am selfish, I care about you Nene, and not your best friend.” are things he only tell Nene and Kou, as if he was screaming. “I am not a good ghost!” even if he will never tell them “Leave me alone, stop visiting me.”

Hanako is constantly fighting between clinging to what he loves, regardless of how much his behavior hurt them, and telling himself he should want them away from him.

Both of his attempts to save Nene involved being away from her, either trapping her in picture-perfect until she forgot about him, or exchanging Aoi’s lifespan with Nene’s, saving her but making it so he can’t see her again, and she would eventually forget about him.

The more Hanako's love for Nene grow the bigger the lengths he is willing to go for her, even if at it core, his love remains selfish, he knew Nene wouldn’t be happy with his solutions, but he doesn’t care, cause she will live, and she will live by his own hands.

He acts like doesn’t know why he does this a lot of times:

And to some degree, he truly doesn’t know.

Hanako has many mental blocks when it comes to admitting vulnerability, even to himself. He looks anguished when he confesses to Nene that he wants her to live.

Hanako never had a wish, not outside his “wish” to atone, which he constantly refears to as punishment, not something he personally want, just something he deserves.

Even as Amane he had given up on his wish.

So wishing for Nene to live is a very new feeling.

This wish makes him go against his duties as No.7 and his quest to ‘repent’, but he can’t even care because he really wants her to live. And is not like going against “god’s will” is what trouble him, since he destroys yorishiros the second he got the chance.

He just want her to not die that much. He can no longer deny he is smitten with her.

We can see this all consuming care with Kou too, even if it is more subtle it’s still very present, and just as impactful in his afterlife.

Nene is someone he loves but very rarely rely on, she is his special someone, he’ll go above and beyond to do what he believe is best for her, ask anyone and even if they disapprove of his actions, they can’t deny he cling to her, always ready to rescue her.

His view on Kou is different, he is someone he ask to fight and help. Is not that he doesn’t trust Nene, not exactly, but he had the “I’ll keep you in the dark mentality” from the second they met, while he never planed to treasure Kou, he just saw enough potential, or use, in this exorcist kid to occasionally rely on him.

Hanako plans for Kou only involved a vague “he can exorcise me later” idea, but he ends up genuinely caring about Kou after he stand up for him agaist Teru in the young exorcist arc.

It’s no longer just “this boy is so funny! I can both make fun of him and use him”, now Kou is his friend.

Just compare how he treats Kou when he is in Yako’s boundary, and in Hell of Mirrors.

He has gotten the habit to be more honest with Kou, he is always counting on him on little things when they are together, and it hurts so bad when Kou fail, because Hanako trusts him, and he hasn’t trusted someone in such a personal way in 60 years.

Hanako is more comfortable hating himself them his friends, so he usually doesn’t let his dissapointment in Kou linger. Focusing most of his negative thoughts on himself.

Kou isn’t infallible, but he is the one Hanako trusts the most. Hanako used to trust Kou almost blindly, holding on to the feeling, but once he was let down, he gets so hurt, he resents the feeling.

He is a contradictory character. It feels like he hate Kou at times and is frustrated by Nene, but he can’t stop caring about them. He only got attached to two people, he can try, and he will, but he can’t pretend they aren’t important to him.].

We know Hanako lingered in Mei's fake world because his deepest wish is to be human with Nene. So even though it is a big red flag for Nene to see “Amane” in her class, the supernatural couldn’t resist playing pretend.

Just for a bit, just for a taste of a normal life with her.

He is consistently selfish and irrational when it comes to Nene. He can’t let go.

His view on Kou is less frenzy but he can’t be discarded either, the kid is the other half of his reason to want to be alive after years of just accepting his death.

He have made up his mind about not going anywhere, he still refuse to follow the crew to Mei's exit, to the moon, but he wants Kou and Nene to always come to him.

Cause even thought Yashiro was his focus, and Mitsuba took most of Kou’s time, Hanako does make it very clear he want Kou there. He even try to knock Kou out like he did with Nene the second he notices Mitsuba failed to distract him.

He risked Kou being in this world, indulged Mitsuba in his dream to be human and live a normal school life by the side of friends, which is a wish Hanako has shown to actively disapprove of in hell of mirrors (and is the very same wish that Hanako have expressed to have in this arc), because Kou is part of it.

His motives for wanting to trap Kou until he lose his memories are unclear but his anger towards Kou for giving him hope after years of nothing only to realize he can’t back up his promises to make Nene live is all over picture perfect.

And Hanako is a coward, he get angry kou want to stop him, discount his anger on Mitsuba, doesn’t explain anything, take Nene, and leave Kou confused.

Hanako only loses his patience and tell how he feels when Kou is in his way, and Hanako needs to beat him if he wants Nene to stay.

The one thing that he’ll always prioritize above all else is Nene after all.

There is a certain determination to only focus on Nene after picture-perfect, not take Kou as seriously.

And what kills me is that Hanako’s attempts to distance himself are very half-hearted.

It fails.

No matter how real his anger and dissapointment, his care is just as real, if not more so. He is still eager to play fight with Kou and spend time with him. Their overall trio dynamic isn't affected.

Is always “Nene” and “Kou” and “everyone else”. Even when Kou isn’t in the scene, Hanako thinks of him.

There is this idea Kou is important, an implied “If I can’t save Nene, Kou will be the one to save her”, even with all the reasons and proof he has that Kou can’t do something as big as alter her fate, part of him still believe Kou can do it. Is a part of him that is illogical and Hanako hates it, and doesn’t want to deal with it.

So he focus on Nene's lifespan, he became obsessed with it.

He has always been possessive of Nene. In any chapter they are together he is touchy and flirty and so openly attached to her, it’s insane!

He knows he is in love.

He also knows he is the ghost of a dead killed and feels like Nene deserves better than what he has to offer, but he can’t let her go.

Even when he is determined to grant her wish, to make a ‘no turn back’ decision, his determination crumbles the second they are face to face, his logic dies and he is just... Happy to see her again.

Even if he knows his plans failed, even if he knows she will die, he just... like seeing her.

His love is openly selfish and doomed to not last, which is something he understands and doesn’t know how to deal with, but just like he can’t force himself to truly hate Kou and stop believing in him, he also can’t force himself to stop loving Nene and desperately trying to find ways to make her live.

He is a mess.

I already announced it on instagram but my interest in tbhk have dropped drastically since some time and I was gonna give the manga the benefit of the doubt because chap 104 was okay Ig?

Chapter 105 just showed everything I have been not liking about the writing in tbhk in one chapter youhou

I adore class 1-A I would die for them

The pages in black and white were cool, the art is perfect as always. Maybe seeing an Akane and Hanako team up would be fire af but with Teru here I doubt it so this is a tiny hope I will put in hell with everything else for now.

I love you Kou and Mistuba

Yokoo is rocking this outfit too. I like the fact that the clock being destroyed just stops everything and everyone's time (like a certain character but who has a limit *COUGHS* probably for this reason Ig)

Idk if I am strong enough to go on a full explanation on why my interest dropped since some chapters, this didn't start on this one, this one was just the last straw. I will just show the most obvious choices that I don't like ( my opinion btw this is just the feeling I have while reading, take this with a BIG grain of salt)

I've been reading tbhk for 4 years and I am tired of waiting for stuff the author litteraly won't do anything about and just stay in their comfort zone

No repercussions on the mcs for some choices they made, no repercussions on wounds/stuff that happened which should have need time to heal for the characters or for them to grow, giving us always the same team up so no room for real character/relationship development beside the obvious (and with how slow Hanako and Nene have been going honestly making the same characters always interact doesn't help at all apparently L O L), BIG difference of pacing for characters growth, making the story take always the same route with the same characters being kidnapped and the same ones doing the savings, putting characters in an arc they have no reason to be part of so just making them stand in the background like a caricature of themselves, making characters 'mysterious' or forgetting their character development just to use them as some sort of deus ex machina, and the worst of all:

Making Nene just a reason for Hanako to react and nothing else. No character development for her, no reason for her to be in some scenes, this is just sad to watch at this point. Aoi had this problem at the beginning of the manga for Akane mostly for comedic reason and they had growth, seeing they are putting Nene in this position after more than 100 chapters and her being the mc is just awful.

I honestly just want more diversity in the choices they are making in their writing, and the last chapter proves me that either it will come in a long time or it never will.

At least the art is pretty, and the worst part is that I KNOW AidaIro knows how use setup, they know how to write really good stuff and good characters, complex stories, and it's GOOD. So seeing this in the recent chapters just makes me even more tired x'))

Once again, my opinion, but the way Nene and Aoi are treated in the manga makes me wanna explode. AidaIro are capable of writing good female characters (thank you Mei and Sumire for being perfect from start to end), Aoi and Nene had wonderful time too, so idk why all of this is happening rn tbh. It's just sad.

Maybe the brainrot will come back, I still love the characters, but I really need to take a break from the fandom anyways (not gonna expand on this but oh boy how annoying a part of the fandom is, a lot of people are the sweetest but a part makes me wanna explode, I've been more than 3 years here and I think that the most I can take at this point)

so yk the demon Hanako official arts right?? What about a demon Hanako x fallen Angel reader?? So the reader is an angel in heaven but was framed for a holy crime they didn’t commit and they were banished. They got their wings clipped so they couldn’t fly anymore and their wings turned black to represent that they weren’t holy

well s/o was banished to earth where they were basically dead meat. And s/o is vulnerable now and they don’t have anything to protect them. And that’s when Hanako stumbled upon them and offers to protect them. And s/o doesn’t trust him at first, saying no the first few times because they are afraid he can’t be trusted but they eventually give in and go with him

and maybe a Yandere Hanako in this?? Like he’s a bit more sadistic and overprotective and he doesn’t want to see s/o get hurt

Its me against your angels.

Where shall I begin this story about the fallen angel and the demons undying love for one another?

Ah, let us start at the very beginning.

Thousands and hundreds of years ago, the Angels and the Demons fought with each other viscously. They DESPISED each other.

The demons wanted nothing to do with the angels and their dumb kingdom of light, so did the angels.

The Angels were fordbidden to never interact, and get along with the demons. As they said that they will brainwash you, manipulate you into doing what they want

And thus, a nasty rumor spread. It spread like wildfire on the day it was spoken of.

A cheeky, mischievous, little angel decided that it shouldn't always be about you getting all the praise. She hated it.

"Hey. Have you heard?"

People were giving you dirty looks as you walked outside, but you brushed it off.

"I saw [F/N] with someone close to the entrance of the demon's gates."

Before you knew it, you were taken into the gates of the kingdom by the guards.

"[F/N], Is having a secret relationship with a Demon."

A crowd formed as you were pushed down on the ground by your two good friends who was ordered by the God, they held you down with guilt and tears swelled in their eyes as they didn't want to do this to you. But Gods eyes were starring right down at them, and did not want to anger them any further.

"The sin you have committed is absolutely unacceptable. In the presence of our people, and in the holy kingdom. I hereby sentence your wings be clipped, and thrown to the face of the earth and will come back after you have atoned your sins." Her majesty said

You couldn't believe what you were hearing. You absolutely had no idea what you did, or what dumb rumor did they believe! "M-my God whatever have I done?!" You questioned

"You were a demon smoocher thats for sure."

Walking from behind the guards, showed your best friend Clara, who had been with you thru thick and thin. She raised her hand and pointed at you and looked around the crowd

"I saw them with a Demon, they held hands, kissed, and probably did sinful acts already." She stared at your swelled up eyes with her dark and emotionless ones.

"They're probably brainwashed by that Demon. And is giving away valued information of our sacred land! God we can not have someone that is involved with a demon!" She declared

Your breathing became uneven as the whisperings of the crowd became louder and louder, You became weaker and weaker by the second.

"I'm sorry.. [F/N].. But we have to do it." Your friend said as his swelled up eyes let out drops of tears. "N-no.. Please.. Don't do this to me, Y-you know I would never involve myself with a demon!" You struggled to get ouf their grasp but your weak body could not withstand their strength.

And just like that, the very thing that had protected you, what kept you warm and shielded you from the harsh sun and rain. Gone.

You watched as feathers from your wings were falling infront of you. You couldn't speak nor move.

And everything went dark.

You awoken to the sound.. Chopping?? You couldn't get up as you felt your body feel heavy, and not only the a throabing headache, what happened to you?

"Oh, your awake" A voice called from the door, someone found you? It looked like your wings disappeared when they.. Well transported you to what you assumed was earth. You wanted to sit up and thank this person for saving you from who knows where and apologize for the disturbance.

The person saw you try to move but gently pushed you back down to rest. "Please, you're injured. You fell pretty bad and most likely broke something." Now that they are close, you slowly moved your head and—

A demon.

And you knew who it was too. It was Hanako, a demon who ran a hotel for the dead with unfinished business near from this life to the next. He sometimes waltz into the crust of the earth himself scavenging for lost souls who didn't go to the kingdom of light to rest easy. It's either they have some unfinish business or... Revenge? Whatever the cause, Hanako surely makes a way for these souls to rest easy. You just don't wanna know how.

He felt you tremble under his touch "I won't do anything to you, if that's what you are thinking. Might I ask, what were you doing here on earth hm? Secret mission to try and make us go extinct?" He chuckled at his joke but you stayed silent.

"I noticed when you were unconscious, that your wings were clipped and severly bruised" Your breath hitched as you heard this.

'Did.. They really not want me to have some sort of protection?.. Is the sin that I have never commit that bad?..'

Hanako noticed your bothered expression and gently placed a bed table infront of you with soup and juice on it. "Here, I also noticed that you were burning up, eat plenty and get some rest so you can get better soon."

You hesitated, should you really be trusting him? What if all this was just an act to get you to warm up to him and force you to let them in the kingdom to raid? Actually.. You kind of hated it there, but you weren't that cruel to let them in and harm the people.

He noticed your distant gaze as he leaned on the wall beside the bed with his arms crossed "You.. Really don't have a choice you know, even if you wanted to get out of this place where would you go? I highly doubt you can go far off by yourself with no source of protection. Plus your injured, and sick and in need of treatment. I doubt God will let you back in even if you were on your knees crying, I don't wanna push you to tell me what happened but I am apparently the only one who can help you." He was right. Even if you did leave, where would you go? Would people from this world let a complete stranger inside their homes? tend you? feed you? and treat you better?

You didn't trust any of the humans either. Some could take advantage of your weak state. Some will put up a nice act and manipulate you to do what they want.

"Come on, I'm not that bad? You can trust me" You looked at him as he gave you a small smile. You really don't have a choice now do you. You sighed and slowly sat up and grabbed the spoon on the table and ate the soup. You didn't wanna say it outloud but it tasted AMAZING.

He chuckled at your expression "Delicious right?" He pushed himself off the wall and gently sat on the bed "Why don't you stay here? I can offer you my protection. And I can assure you, no one will come harm you." You stared at him and softly shook your head "I-i'm sorry but I don't think I can stay here."

"Think rationally about this now, like I said before you have nowhere else to go, not with that injured and heating state of yours I doubt any humans will come and aid you. And none of them are gullible enough to easily believe you are an angel." Another of his facts that you could not say it was wrong.

"Really, I.. Can um.. Handle myself.. I can come back here if things don't work as planned—"

Thunder claps the sky making a really loud sound making you jump and hide in the sheets, You slowly peeked your head and heard the harsh rain and looked at Hanako. Honestly you didn't know if this guy controls the weather or he just absolutely is very wise.

"F-Fine.." Still a bit shooken up about the thunder

He smirked as he placed his chin on his hand that rest on his knee "So, you probably know who I am, but I don't know who you are"

You had no one at the moment. You best friend betrayed you. And the Gods believed the lie and have practically banished you from the kingdom of light.

"I'm.. [F/N]. [L/N] [F/N].."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, [L/N], I promise that you have my protection. Inside and Outside these walls."

And a new profounding friendship bloomed.

It has been.. What? About a month ever since you got banished? You didn't wanna admit it but.. You enjoyed your stay at Hanako's hotel, you loved greeting people around you left and right and conversing with them of what happened before they got here. Hanako has been taking good care of you, and fulfilled his promise of protecting you, no harm has went your way in a month.

Despite all this, you missed home. You missed your friends, your neighbors..

Your best friend?. No, She betrayed you. Just thinking about her makes your blood boil, but you were too holy to have that much hatred in you, you just pretended she didn't exist and try to live your life normal here on earth until your sins have been atoned.

"[F/N]~~ Here you are, I was looking everywhere for you" Hanako slithered his arms around your waist as he hugged you from behind and placed his chin on your shoulder. In just a month, You have been very comfortable around him, and.. You felt safe just by having him beside you..

Not only that your heart pounds and beats faster than the speed of light whenever he calls you, or gives you any physical touch. No way your starting to like him.

"Mmm.. You're very soft.. Ah! Before I forget, we just finished constructing another part of the garden. Do you wanna come check it out?" Your eyes saparkled, you absolutely LOVED this places garden. All the different kinds of flowers were present when you went to explore the area, you couldn't wait and see the other plants he added. Maybe something form out of this world? or exotic? who knows.

Hanako gently held your hand as he ordered his tseushiros to bring you to the front gate of the newly constructed garden. He let's go of your hand as he beckoned you to open the gate, so you did. Your reaction was the most cutest thing Hanako has seen throughout his life as he watched as you slowly walked up to a bush filled with yellow tulips.

"I planted those myself, not too bad hm?" He crossed his arms as you admired his work. He really did a good job not gonna lie. You stoop up and took a step back to look at the design of how he planted he tulips but you tripped on some bricks and fell backwards, your elbows landing first. You winced in pain as Hanako immediately came to your aid. "Hey, hey.. Don't move you're bleeding.." As Hanako was tending your bruised elbows, he glared daggers at some of the workers making them shiver and shrink under his gaze.

"Let us have a 'talk' about leaving resources in the middle of a path, hm?" Hanako gave them a closed eyed smile as the workers shook in fear

You lay in the comfort of your bed as you held the ice pack on your bruised elbow. After some of the maids and butlers led you back to your room, you noticed how Hanako had this.. Dark and menancing stare to those who were in the garden. You sighed

"I told him it isn't their fault.." As you sat down, someone knocked at your door "[F/N], may I come in?" It was Hanako, and he sounded worried. You stood up and opened the door, you were right about worried.

"Hey.. Are you alright? Does it still hurt? Do you need anything? You can tell me and I'll bring it to you right away" He asked you so many questions but you just hugged him to shut him up. "Im.. Good, thanks for asking.." A small smile crept on Hanako's face as he returned the hug "Wow, I guess me being touchy is rubbing off on you huh?" You nodded against his chest as he chuckled

You two were having the most cutest moment ever, but of course in every type of story, this scenario always gets interrupted right? (haha breaking the 4th wall what are you gonna do?)

A servant of Hanako busted thru your door panting "M-master! There are angels crowding the front entrance demanding to speak with them!" She pointed at you as you felt Hanako's embrace tighten. You looked up to see he had a dark shadow casted over his face as he held you close. "Well, I have business to do, but.. I don't wanna leave you here alone"

Hanako led you thru the crowd as he spotted God himself at the entrance, and the very person who betrayed you was shaking in fear and very nervous.

Her eyes landed on you as she looked really excited. She pointed a finger at you as she exclamed— "S-see!! I told you to believe me that they are involved with a demon!! Look at them holding hands!!" Hanako hid you behind him as he ordered guards to block the entrance preventing angels to enter and do who knows what to you.

The crowd started getting more aggressive and louder. This is bad, Hanako wanted to 'knock' some senses into these idiotic people who they call themselves 'angels'. But you were nearby, he had to act quick

He felt you shake against him, he looked down at you and saw that you were covering your ears eith swelled up eyes.

"Hanako.. Please.. Make it stop.."

"Everyone stop!! Do you really call yourselves the child of god?! You're all far more worse than us Demons!! Throwing away the most kindest and sweetest person I have ever met because of some lousy rumor that you believed in an instant?! Look around! You're all boiling with rage and anger! Trying to hurt the very person who helped each and one of you to become the person you are today, have you not have any shame?!" Hanako held you tightly in his arms shielding you from any attempt of harm they plan to do.

It went silent, too silent..

Clara, looked at the sea of angels and guards who had a guilty look in their faces. She didn't want her plans to be spoiled.

"Ugh! He is gaslighting you to believe that [F/N] did any good!!" She raged, your good friend held her shoulder as he forcefully turned her around.

"You know. You should talk about yourself too, you haven't done any 'good' while you stayed in the kingdom. All you did was create thefts, rumors, and sinful acts. And now you blame it to the person who has helped you through thick and thin?"

Clara forcefully removed his hand from her shoulder as she looked around. All eyes were on her.

"Y-you're all guilty!! You BELIEVED me!!" She tried to gaslight them but they weren't having having it anymore. "My Lord please believe me!! I would NEVER lie to you!" She knelt down, but guards held her tight as they too clipped her wings.

"Take her away." God commanded the guards, struggling to held her down as she was fighting back.

"I'll make you regret this!! I HATE YOU [F/N]! I WISH YOU'VE NEVER BEEN BORN!!!" And she was gone.. Years and years of her tormenting you.. As you turned a blind eye and ignored it..

You were free..

After your 'best friend' was banished, the rivalry against demons and angels were no more.

But hmm, do you ever wonder what happens to those who were naughty? rebellious?

Or far worst than the devil himself.

Clara was put in a steel typed caged as she had tried to escape many times to what they assume was to take 'revenge'. But they highly doubt she can.

She has gone far off from the line

And needs to be punished.

Clara shook in fear as she backed into a corner, her shackles making loud sounds at every move she does. "You're crazy." She glared at Hanako who just gave her a closed eyed smile

He gripped the bat behind him as he swung it near her head making her shrink

"I'd do anything, to keep them out of harm. I'd even go as far as exterminating anything that hurts them. And that includes you."

Well, she was supposed to be executed a day prior, I guess your devil boyfriend got to her first.

It turned out, absolutely horrendous 😭😭

I also just realized this. But after reading the manga and watch the anime, we could tell that the mangaka also love BL, right? Yes, I have read that GL one shot, love them, wish it could be longer...

Just finished discussing with a few people that think canon BL and GL >> non canon BL and GL (like from shounen & shoujo). I disagree with them, and you know what, I showed them a few posts from various blogs (one of them are your blog). And let's just say, some of them now have also become SatoSugu, BakuDeku, and YumiHisu shipper... 😉

Hello again and thank you for your ask! Oh for sure. I mean, it's been a while since I last watched it but wasn't Momose a fujoshi? And I'm not saying Hanako being a crossplayer is tangential territory but the girls that get it, get it. 😂

RE: canon BL and GL vs non canon BL and GL, I giggled so much. One, thanks for sharing my posts, it's funny to think they're a catalyst for others to fall into the same brainrot I find myself in, constantly. I think there's a level of drama in the non canon BL and GL that is different from canon BL and GL. Not sure if that makes sense to say.

What I've noticed is that, typically, the drama in MLM and WLW romance stories that I've read is either from coming to terms with their feelings (like a coming of age) or just straight up reconciling trauma. There's a crazy amount of abuse that gets passed off as romance which I take issue with whether they are straight or queer stories. Occasionally, you'll see drama from enemies or rivals overcoming tense relations but, sometimes, even those stories are precipitated by some kind of sexual violence.

Non canon, there's an independent story that is typically multilayered and has nothing to do with romance. But there's enough "give" in these longer running stories to find deeper connections between the cast. There are also enough gaps in a developing story where fandom can fill in the blanks, especially with rich and dynamic characters that have development independent of their relationship with someone else. I think that's why I lean on queer characters having storylines independent of being queer because while that's part of ones' experience that's not all they are. So these stories provide this desperate sort of drama as characters play their role in this unfurling story, right? But then, there's another facet of drama in the "will they, won't they" that we convince ourselves of and it just compounds. Let's not forget stories with an element of danger that isn't caused between a ship.. Okay, maybe I'm finally starting to understand doom toxic yaoi.. 😅

ALSO, don't forget that canonically, Ymir was a queer character who loved Historia. Whether Historia reciprocated those feelings in the same way does not negate that representation. It makes me happy to know that people are having such sincere conversations and that my posts are a means of discourse 😂 because I'm out here smashing my keyboard and screaming into the internet void: "AND YA KNOW WHAT ELSE IS SAD!?" hahahaha so thank you for reading, genuinely, and for including me in your conversations.
