Hi Everyone,

I have a relatively new online store and my Google ranking has dropped from page 7 to completely gone. The weird thing is I am ranked number one on Bing. I ran an SEO audit utility and have been trying to learn more but does anyone have any ideas as to why there would be such a difference between two search engines?

Class 9th student was asked to return home over fees overdue

Despite the government making several policies to keep tabs on the schools’ fees of private schools, a class 9th school student was harassed and asked to return home because of fees overdue. The incident took place in the Brilliant Grammar School of Hyderabad. “We are not against schools collecting fees, but that should purely be between parents and school management. Under no circumstances, should the child be involved. The same thing happened in this incident, where the class 9 student was sent back on the pretext that he did not pay the fees,” said Achyuta Rao, honorary president, Balala Hakula Sangham. “Unfortunately, despite a number of cases being reported every month, the school education department has no concrete plan to deal with such issues… We feel that unless they are directly made accountable and action is initiated against the district or Mandal education officer concerned along with erring teacher and school management, the situation is going to remain the same,” Rao added. Meanwhile, the school education department officials who are on a fly to investigate the schools since the first week of the August have not taken any action. “I have had directed the deputy inspection officers and deputy education officers to visit at least 20 private schools every month and interact with students to know about issues bothering them. However, we havenʼt issued any show-cause notices yet,” said B Venkata Narassama, Hyderabad district education officer. Parents are also blaming the education officials and said that they are not working sincerely and only conducting the inquiries for the sake of it.

PETERSBURG, W.Va. - If you’re thinking about a career in the high-demand fields of industrial maintenance, wind energy technology and biological and environmental technology but don’t know where to start, Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College can help propel you along your chosen path.

Learn about these exciting industries as well as Eastern’s commercial driver’s license program and get information on how the AP220 grant can help students achieve their goals at the college’s first ever Technology Center open house on April 14.

“We are thrilled to be adding a spring Technology Center Open House to Eastern’s schedule this year,” said Curtis Hakala, Division Chair for General Studies at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. “The Open House will serve as a one-stop-shop for information about the variety of technical programs and degrees Eastern offers to the Potomac Highlands Region.”

Presentations and demonstrations will be given on Eastern’s wind turbine nacelle, hub and generator training simulators; visual measurements of three-phase AC electricity parameters; visual determination of transmitted power quality; programmable logic controllers (PLCs); supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA); hydraulics and pneumatics; basic mechanical systems with hands-on activities utilizing dial and digital calibers and metric micrometers; laser shaft alignments with an SKF laser alignment system; circuit applications; Prony brake measuring systems; troubleshooting closed-loop operational amplifier circuits; installing and testing proximity sensors; performing a display and key test using a Honeywell UDC 3500; navigating a Honeywell loop controller menu system and operating a flow control loop using a paddlewheel sensor. Current students will assist with demonstrations and will be available to answer questions about Eastern’s programs.

Additionally, visitors will have access to all Amatrol basic mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronic control systems and process control system trainers, as well as Amatrol’s e-learning curriculum. Demonstrations will be provided on the individualized blended instruction and integration of virtual learning applications to trainer hardware.

See Eastern’s laser cutter and 3D printer in action, watch a drone demonstration and interact with Eastern’s nature ambassadors, including Lady Jake the corn snake and Humps the box turtle who will be promoting Eastern’s new Biological and Environmental Technology program.  

“We hope to see a lot of new faces and to answer any questions from potential students and parents,” said Hakula. “The Open House will include free snacks and beverages, and attendees will have a chance to win door prizes throughout the whole event. A variety of exciting demonstrations will be on display and everyone is welcome.”
