Gwen and Miles clearly like each other, no question. I was hesitant after ITSV because I just kinda liked their friendship but after watching ATSV they have my blessing. They're just so AHDOWNDK 😭😭😭😭

HOBIE AND MILESSS, I love their dynamic so much, Hobie being Miles' hype man and Miles thinking Hobie is soooo cool. I love the idea of Miles not knowing he's bi before he meets Hobie and suddenly he's all kinds of confused, meanwhile "I dont like labels" Hobie is so confident and chill

Miles KNOWING he likes Gwen but he meets Hobie and suddenly he's acting the same way he acts around Gwen? He's tripping over his words and trying to impress him, and at first he brushes it off as wanting a cool friend, but Hobie keeps TOUCHING him.

Slinging his arm over his shoulders and leaning in close to tell him something, hugs when he hasn't seen him for awhile (not quite to the level of the big open hugs he gives Pav of course) and hell even high fives and fist bumps make him freeze up and try to remember how to use his limbs like a normal person.

The "Cool Friend" excuse shatters once he catches Gwen and Hobie hanging out and realizes he feels left out and jealous... but he can't figure out who he's jealous OF.

Also omg if Miles' parents think GWEN is a bad influence then IMAGINE THEIR REACTION TO HOBIE. I can vividly imagine Miles' dad saying "That kid is a PUNK." Meanwhile his mom is just ranting because "How do you even find these people Miles??"

Hobie hangs around teens, there was a slight implication of his having romantic feelings for Gwen (A TEEN) at the start, google says he is about the same age as Gwen and Miles and some of you still get mad at shippers in the fandom for believing that Hobie is a teenager.

Hey! I saw your post asking for aob miles/hobie/gwen/pav asks and I love exploring the possibilities of an aob world outside of smut (though the smut is also fun). Loved your post about scenting! What do you think of this: it's post a particularly rough mission, they're all tired and bruised up, and someone (I'd love it if it was Miles) slips into a slight feral state of mind where they lose speech and they're acting on their instincts without thinking about it. Their friends don't notice it until they start trying to herd everyone someplace safe, but when they do notice they decide to just go along with it. And then they nest together. I love nesting and I think it would be cute. Bonus points for, if it's Miles, this incident is what makes him realize that his teammates have become pack to him.

OKAY THIS IDEA IS SO GOOD BUT I'M GONNA SWITCH IT UP!

It's a rough, awful mission yeah and Miles is badly injured. His friends rush everywhere to try and find him and finally find him behind some rubble next to a destroyed building. Gwen goes to reach for him but Hobie snatches her back and holds her securely against his side.

"Hobie!" She gasps out. "What are you doing?! Miles is hurt-!"

"Look," He whispers, tense and unsure and Gwen blinks before turning back to Miles who is curled in on himself and breathing heavily but, something's in his arms...

A babe. A pup. An infant that can't be more than a few months old and Miles is protecting her.

"He's feral, right now," Hobie tells her. "If ya' try and get anywhere /near/ him, he'll fuck ya' up, Gwendy. He can't tell who's who and will attack anyone that tries to get near his pup, that's his mindset right now."

"Alphas will only set him off," Pav says, scared and nervous for their packmate. "What should we do? Call Miguel? Get Jess over here? She's a female alpha, maybe that'll calm him down more than a male alpha."

Hobie sighs and shakes his head. "Nah," He replies. "Callin' Miguel will only make things worse 'cause he'll get all fuckin' dramatic and try to rush down here to get to Miles. Ya' know how they are now, Miles is practically his pup in Miguel's eyes. Jess and Miles ain't close enough to form some kind of bond and ain't Peter out on 'notha mission right now?"

Gwen sighs. "...so what do we do?"

Hobie turns to Miles who is /glaring/ at them as his mask has fallen and he's breathing heavily, his scent sour and gross as the babe in his arms cries and wails.

His scent screams /don't you dare come the fuck over here, I'll fuck you up, motherfucker/.

But, they've gotta get the situation handled. Now.

"Stand back," Hobie says as he sets his guitar in Gwen's hands. "I gots an idea."

Then, he crouches down, attempting to make himself smaller and sweetens his scent so Miles knows he's not a threat. Pav and Gwen take multiple steps back, letting Hobie do his thing and they watch as he crawls ever so slightly closer to the feral Omega.

"Omega," Hobie whispers, inner alpha coming out to rumble softly. "Sweet thang', lemme get closer to ya', yeah?"

Miles growls and tenses up further.

Hobie coos and rumbles. "Omega," He tries again and gets even closer. "Not gon' hurt ya'...pretty pup ya' got there, yeah? Takin' such good care of her. Such a good momma, ain't ya'?"

Miles breathes heavily and then contemplates for a few moments before nodding.

Hobie hums. "Yeah...but, yer hurt, baby. Gotta get ya' and the babe checked out, hm? Don't wantcha gettin' infected, okay? So, can ya' trust me and come with us, hun?"

After another fifteen minutes of coercion, miles finally let's the alpha into his personal space and Hobie immediately begins to scent his neck, trying to see if it can get Miles back online with them. It does the trick because moments later, he's blinking and his eyes come back to full awareness.

"...Hobie?" He croaks, voice rough from all the growling he had done. "What...what happened?"

"Just got a lil' territorial on us, is all," Hobie tells him softly and Miles glances down at the baby girl in his arms and twitches.

"A-ah," His cheeks darken in embarrassment. "I'm sorry."

"Nothin' ya' got ta' apologize for, babydoll," Hobie tells him as Gwen and Pav rush over to comfort their packmate and Miles accepts all their kisses and scenting with a wet smile.

"Just glad yer safe."

If people wrote Hobie fics it would be super appropriate to keep changing the pronouns cycling through (he/she/they/zir) just repeatedly with no structure…Hobie would actually prefer it that way.

I’m not even a huge pronoun girly because they confuse me but it just feels right. All these fics referring to Hobie as “he” really throws me off.

Not enough GhostPunk content around here so I decided to take the matter into my own hands

Their house is a mess, like seriously

Gwen tidies and cleans everything up and Hobie creates a mess once again

They go to riots together

They definitely kissed more than once on stage during concerts

Hobie wrote Gwen several love songs

Hobie is extremely supportive of Gwen's choices, he'd follow her everywhere without questions

And same goes for Gwen in his regards, except she's a bit more considerate and makes sure he doesn't get in trouble

When Gwen is sad, they lie in bed listening to some music

They share clothes, no questions

Gwen steals his shoes, his shirts, his jumpers, everything

And Hobie doesn't hesitate to wear her more girly clothes as he doesn't believe in gender labels

Hobie regularly helps Gwen dye her hair, it was his idea to dye them pink

i know it'll never happen but to be honest I'm rooting so hard at this point for Miles Gwen Hobie Poly relationship. can you imagine if they actually did that??? I feel like it'd actually just be so fucking perfect and they REALLY could. Literally there just needs to be a scene where Hobie is struggling and Miles comforts him, they hug or hold hands or something as comfort but it lingers a bit too long and Hobie makes some kinda advance and then miles backs up and the following exchange occurs (but better written)

Miles: yo man what? aren't you and Gwen a thing? what are you doing?

Hobie: we don't do monogamy - i don't believe in patriarchal notions of relationships as ownership

Miles: huh

they get interrupted by villain and then Miles later awkwardly asks Gwen about it being all like "so uh is it true that y'all aren't exclusive? I'm just wondering if you'd have any interest - not to say Hobies not interesting i just mean -" etc.

and then Gwen cuts him off by kissing him (at this point the flirting levels have made this make sense)

Miles: wow

and then Hobie jumps in laughing and swings his arms around both of them and says something like "about time you lot! now let's say we blast this bugga into next week and catch up afterwards?" and then the do the final fight.

again, better written dialogue but the premise writes itself
