We know Tommy's words about violence are meaningless. Tanks, nuclear Armageddon, bomb disposal, full contact sports, guntoting earthworms, these all seem inherently violent. But what does TOMMY define as violent? The drawing of blood? The visibility of someone's breakfast from their insides? Two cats sizing each other up?

I assume it's the usual American double standard, boobies are bad, but violence is A-OK! How many people around the world were killed by B-17 Bombers? How many American children were injured imitating the daredevil antics of Evel Knievel?
