Alright Zelda fandom. I see your loving Ganondads. I see your growing up gerudo dads and tales of two rulers dads. They’re all great Ganondads!

BUT

I would like to raise you. Reluctant Ganondad!

Picture this! Link and Zelda are very young (like wind waker age) and they both have unfortunate home lives. Link has no family and was essentially raised in the castle training day in and day out. Zelda only has her dad who is just like Roahm in botw but worse. They both absolutely hate that they have to do all this (at such young ages too). Well the time comes for them to fight ganondorf. He’s expecting full grown adults, not literal toddlers.

He absolutely refuses to beat up children, but they aren’t leaving. They obviously need actual tlc and a goddamn nap.

He takes them in and takes care of them. They keep trying to fight him and he just shuts down every attempt (like calming a bratty toddler down from a tantrum). And eventually he just flat out refuses to allow them to go back to their awful homes and there’s peace in hyrule forever the end!

Possible Legend of Zelda X Amphibia AU idea that may or may not be used in the future

So, basically, I have this idea for a Zelda/Amphibia au where Anne, Marcy, and Sasha replace Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf/Ganon respectively.

This is also partially influenced by the Growing Up Gerudo comic series, considering that I do want there to be exposition for the Calamity Trio as kids. Although I should probably say direct influence due to Sasha being a Hylian raised by the Gerudo.

As to why the Calamity Trio replaces the Triforce Trio (Yes that is what I call them), I think it makes sense that they are reincarnations of them. Do I that's a proper explanation? Nope. Am I gonna do anything about that? Also Nope.

ok so little story about this comic and my history with it, I saw this comic a while ago i think in 2020 or 2019 when watching a youtube comic dub of it and i really liked it like it made me either go Awwww look at Gannon begin a good dad or genuinely cry because of how heart broken i was. then i kinda forgot about it until a while back and to be very honest I thought that maybe i was just imagining things but HA IT’S REAL! AND IT IS STILL AS GOOD AS I REMBER IT BEING. I going to try and not spoil anything but there’s a moment in this series that made me feel so tense as i was stuck wondering if the characters where going to be alright and also so heartbroken at the same time.
