Consider, if you will:

Yugi, dear sweet Yugi, getting absolutely stuck unfucking something regarding game dev.  Seto casually mentions the “rubber duck method”, i.e. explaining/reading step by step the things leading up to where you’re stuck to figure out how to unstick yourself.

Yugi’s like, sure, I’ll try it, and Seto just pull out a toy duck out of a drawer because he’s been there himself.  Yugi goes over everything leading up to where he’s stuck, realizes where he’s fucked up, and is like “son of a bitch” and, without thinking, smacks the duck off the desk so hard it bounces off the wall of Seto’s office with a sad squeak.

Yugi is immediately absolutely MORTIFIED he did this, especially in front of Seto, but Seto just cracks the hell up.  He’s been there, done that too, but to see Yugi, dear, sweet Yugi, fucking lose it like that for a moment is the funniest fucking thing he’s seen all year.

Once the laughter dies down, Yugi is all apologies, but Seto just waves it off and says the duck’s seen worse than that, believe him, and besides, that was adorable.

When it hits them both what was just said, they’re kinda awkward for a moment because they are both still “what are feelings please help”, then Yugi goes off to go sort out the original problem.

Awkwardness aside, that’s the story of how Yugi ends up comfortable expressing when he’s angry around Seto Kaiba.

People ask when the wedding is, the works. One day Kaiba's overworked and annoyed and hears someone come into the room. Without looking up and assuming it's Mokuba he just starts ranting about the whole situation and lets slip that he has half a mind to just ask Yugi to marry him to shut everyone up when Yugi says no and then they can all go back to normal. Yugi replies, "what if I say yes?"
