Day 8 Post-Op

I'm over the one-week mark and have been home since last Wednesday afternoon - mum's been staying at Pop's for the past week so she can help out, and stay with me while Nan goes to Doylo.

Things went pretty well for most of the week, then over the weekend I woke up in agonizing pain in my legs. They were, and still are, numb, tingling, ice-cold and and burning at the same time. This, along with my weird symptoms, worried the nurses a bit so they wheeled me to the ED, where I had a pretty massive and public panic attack after just two hours of waiting hunched over in the world's hottest, smallest and most packed-like-sardines waiting room I've ever been, waiting to see if I'd be unlucky enough that the worst doctor I've ever had would be working the hospital that day ✌ (insert link to that story)

Okay, so... now (5:54pm) I'm getting a high temperature despite literally feeling exactly as hot as I've felt since the weekend with a normal temperature sooooo... Edit: Am back in hospital, they took me in right away 'cause I had a fever and was bleeding through my shirt and vom-ing. Have been on IV antibiotics and painkillers, and have also had the nasal cannula thing most of the night and day. The painkillers have helped the surgery site pain but not my legs. I feel... fuckin' awful and scared, I have no idea how things got so bad so quickly. Might be getting moved to John Hunter Hospital, will find out this arvo.
