Surrender is HARD my friends! Not just difficult...It's truly hard! It means letting go of me, of my thinking, my rights, my agenda, my control!!! And I don't like it one bit! Are intrusive thoughts sin?

Intrusive thoughts are spontaneous, unwanted, sexual, violent, horrible, or even blasphemous thoughts that pop into many Christians' thoughts. They may leave a feeling of guilt, shame, or doubt regarding salvation or God's forgiveness. But God knows all our thoughts, and they don't surprise Him one bit (Psalm 139:2). God knows the difference between one who sins willfully and one who desires to please Him yet has had a fleeting, errant thought (1 Chronicles 28:9; Hebrews 4:12). Are all my sins forgiven?

Yes, all our sins are forgiven—past, present, and future. All that is required for eternal life is belief in Jesus Christ as our Savior from the punishment we deserve due to our sinfulness (1 Peter 3:18). If we believe, then we will experience eternal life with God after dying a physical death. That death could occur in the next minute after receiving salvation or decades later, but the gift is still ours, no matter what sins may occur.
