HELLO EVERYONE! WE ARE REOPENING GENTLE GIANT SWAG, FOR THE SUMMER EDITION
Submit as many characters as you won’t but don’t spam submit a singular character over and over again
Kronk, the previous winner, has been BANNED from the summer edition.
If you’re questioning a character, write why you think they should win in the ask section (you can be anon) and we will make a poll, similar to @worstqueerbaittournament
Characters already added are Jonathan Joestar (Jojo’s bizarre adventure), Kanji tatsumi (persona), Milla Vodello (psychonauts), and Dedue Molinaro (fire emblem), and Subject Delta (bioshock)
The Iron Giant, and Baymax (big hero 6kr will also return for being the runner ups
Despite that, you can submit these characters if you want to, if you want them to be in a more intense battle.
Nothing from a controversial franchise like Harry Potter
No ocs or real people or MCYT people, dogs are fine however
If needed, I may have to do two brackets like in the dad battle one. Though it depends.
Since I’m also the dad council, just use the code of conduct I used there. Which I will post in a few minutes after this is up

Welcome to Eurovision Heritage Posts!
One Eurovision Heritage Post a day keeps the unfair professional jury votes away
Every year around May the Eurovision fandom creates amazing textposts, memes, art and gifsets that deserve to be in an Eurovision Hall of Fame, but most of them will eventually fall into the oblivion that is Tumblr's search history. By making this blog I want to create a place where you'll always be able to reliably find some of the top posts from each edition of Eurovision, but mostly, I want to pop up into your dashes to make sure you get your daily does of Eurovision all year around!
I will publish one Eurovision Heritage Post each day at 5pm GMT
Currently not accepting submissions: I have a lot of amazing posts sitting in my drafts right now, and at some point I might ask for submissions, specially from older editions of Eurovision, because the older they are, the harder they are to find. The only reason why I'd rather hold off the submissions at the moment is because my memory is not the best and if you start submitting stuff it's going to be extremely hard for me to discern if it feels familiar because it's sitting in my drafts or queue or because I remember seeing it five years ago while browsing the tag
Tag system: all Eurovision Heritage Posts will be tagged to reflect the year they are about, for example: #eurovision 2023 and #esc 2023, and some might get the #timeless tag if the edition they are referencing is not relevant or if they are referencing several editions.

GOAT Eurovision Winner Showdown
Welcome to the GOAT Eurovision Winner Showdown!
Through the next weeks, we will poll one Eurovision winner against another until only one of them remains. This winner shall be bestowed the honor of being crowned the Greatest Eurovision Winner of All Time™. (Yes, the goat image is because GOAT stands for Greatest Of All Time)
The tournament will feature all 70 winners of the Eurovision Song Contest. And if you're thinking "wait, but there's only 69 (nice)!", worry not, because this year's ESC is around the corner (9th, 11th and 13th of May), and by the time we make it to the last poll of round one, we will already have our 70th winner.
I will greatly appreciate that you reblog this post and help spread the word for the tournament!

Those who don't remember the 2006 Eurovision, Lordi was a HUGE deal!! Their song was a huge hit!
There was some controversy even, when some people didn't want them to perform because they were thought to be 'satanic'. But they were allowed to perform and they got the record of the time, and I believe they got the highest amount of votes in the semi-final as well!
People loved them, they were different and exciting, and brought Finland its first ever, and so far only, victory. They are a good representation of what makes Eurovision so fun and unpredictable. They're not the only metal band in Eurovision, but I'd argue they're the most memorable. Who doesn't love a band with a costume gimmick?
And the celebration when Lordi returned home from the contest was of epic proportions, a world record (at the time) of the most karaoke participants was made with 80k people singing Hard Rock Hallelujah at their victory party at a Helsinki market square. Lordi has truly earned its place in Eurovision history and deserves to win this bracket! They were a phenomenon that won't ever be forgotten in ESC history! Go, Lordi!
