Howdy! No sweat, be as nosey as you'd like, if I feel like it's too deep I won't answer, and I'm flattered for the inquiry!

The new chapter of Sanguine is, admittedly, half written, I had a few things happen and started a new (second) job recently, leaving me busy (even entirely detached gov jobs like librarian include copious amounts of paper work 💀).

TLDR It's in the works! It's going slow so I can make sure it's up to par with the rest, and thank you! I'm happy to answer nearly any questions on it!

As for fun facts on my Sanguine au, I don't want to spoil too much just yet, as with his chapter I'm working on its only closing off the first chunk, but here's a few little tidbits not too spoiler-y

• Jonah wears one earring, in his left ear, that Adam helped him pierce when they were both fifteen! It is from Jonah's first time on a planet-side trip he took as part of his mechanic internship dealeo. He snagged the first small pretty rock he saw and made an earring out of it he wears everywhere now.

° Jonah collects a pebal from every planet he visits actually!

• Cesar's looks take after his mother more than his father but he does have his father's ADHD type tendencies

• Mark is secretly a disaster chef, has in fact burnt water

What's your top 5 favorite dinosaurs?

Puts my hand on your shoulder my understanding of dinosaurs is limited to a dinosaur book I had when I was like five, Jurassic park, and clips of that dinosaur documentary. which isn't going to stop me per se but I am limited to the ones I remember the names of and the ones I can find the names for online that said my top 5 dinosaurs are:

Stegosaurus. Call me basic but I'm a simple man and this guy is just COVERED in shapes he is truly my favorite beast. If I could meet one dino it would be the Stegosaurus.

Pachycephalosaurus I love a guy whos basically 99% Skull. Absolutely incredble work my friend please keep it up.

Corythoraptor. Look at that thing. Just look at it.

Pectinodon. A guy :)

Veloceraptor. Once again i'm a simple man and I just love birds with funny claws.

Pancakes - Yancy x Reader

Yancy couldn't believe it. It was his first morning out of prison.

Waking up next to his favorite person kept a smile on his face as he attempted to cook some breakfast for the both of you. While it was far from perfect, at least he was ninety-five percent sure it wasn't poisonous.

He hadn't cooked since he was young, barely even into double digits. He was never particularly gifted at it, but he wanted to do something for you.

Without you, he'd still be in prison.

Without you, he wouldn't have somewhere to stay just until he could find a steady source of income.

Without you, he wouldn't even have thought he was capable of being a good person.

But, all that sappy shit could be saved for later. now that his breakfast monstrosity was finished, he just needed to wake you up to eat it with him, which shouldn't be too hard, right?

You woke up to quite a scene that morning.

Opening your eyes, the first thing you saw was Yancy. He was practically shaking you, which you realized after a moment.

He looked as if he'd just seen a ghost. Once he finally realized you were conscious, he moved back to sit on his heels and bury his head in his hands.

"(Y-Y/N), okay, its okay. Youse is awake now." he muttered between broken chuckles. Even you, who'd been awake for a solid 25 seconds, could tell he was shaken up. A few tears ran down his forearms as Yancy's quiet sniffles and sobs were muffled by his hands.

You almost immediately felt responsible for his current state. You had completely forgotten to mention just how heavy of a sleeper you were, and now you'd accidentally scared Yancy into believing you might have even been dead. "Hey, I'm just a heavy sleeper Yance, I'm so sorry but im here now." You rested your hand on his shoulder and slowly moved it up and down in an attempt to comfort him.

After a small while, the man in front of you started to shift again, this time uncovering his face to wipe the tears from his eyes using his left sleeve. He appeared to have calmed down for the most part. Yancy took a few deep breaths before speaking.

"I- uh, I made some chocolate chip pancakes. Yous want some?"

Things never went exactly according to plan when it came to him, but that just made him all the more endearing to you.
