Le créateur de mode Phillip Lim a emménagé en 2007 au quatrième étage d'un appartement de SoHo, un bâtiment centenaire en fonte qui évoque le charme industriel typique du centre de Manhattan, qui, dans les années 1970 et 1980, était un légendaire no man's land à loyer modéré de New York et faisait fantasmer toutes sortes d'artistes cool. Quatre ans plus tard, le voisin de Phillip Lim a proposé vendre sa maison au rez-de-chaussée. Il l'a immédiatement rachetée et a combiné les deux appartements en une seule maison, spacieuse et lumineuse, de 3 600 pieds carrés (330 M2). La maison de rêve a été l'aboutissement d'un projet de rénovation de 18 mois mené par l'architecte Joe Nix, le mari de Maria Vu, directrice principale de la marque Phillip Lim. #Repost @kennethlingdesign Designer Phillip Lim’s (@therealphilliplim ) SoHo loft is furnished with an eclectic mix Lim’s intensely personal collection.
