I think this is a big reason why TRAs are so desperate to shut down detransitioners. Seeing public detransitioners can cause people who are currently trans identified people to start to question the ideology. And this whole ideology is such a house of cards that once you start to think about it critically it's only a matter of time until it falls apart.

Imagine being friends with this guy, but despite you being a lesbian he keeps on hitting on you and he ignores every attempt from your side to signal to him that you're not interested. His behaviour already borders on sexual harassment, but you try to ignore it to not make the situation uncomfortable and not make him lash out. Then, when you could not have made it more obvious that you are not into him, he goes onto the lesbian subreddit and calls you "useless", implying that you actually do like him. I would have gone into his fucking neighbourhood and slashed his tires lol

I do think that genuinely dysphoric people can exist, however they are VERY few and far between. A lot of the time it’s deep rooted insecurity or trauma, especially for TIFs. Male entitlement also seems to be a big thing with TIMs. If they made an effort to unlearn that, along with other misogyny, ‘trans women’ would not be as common as they are. And if TIFs unlearned internalised misogyny and started reading about radical feminism, ‘trans men’ would not be common either.

i love my fellow gnc people, including gnc men. the problem has never been men wearing dresses, the problem is when some of those men try to reframe their fashion choices or personality as somehow having anything to do with womanhood.

furthermore, men, even when gnc, have male privilege. if you as a man don't acknowledge this and instead try to opt out of your oppressor role by pretending you are a woman because you have a ~feminine soul~ or whatever: congratulations, you are reinforcing the oppression of women! womanhood is being an adult human female. gendered souls aren't real

You know what’s so interesting? The women on right, as we all know, have their ideas, beliefs, and rights determined by the men of the alt-right. In fact, they are very proud to advertise this and do not shy away from the fact that they listen exclusively to and think themselves to be below men, conservative men especially.

However, women on the left are being virtually led down the same path. Their makeup styles and wardrobe are predetermined by drag queens and gay stylists. Their talking points in terms of politics and philosophy are spearheaded by men as well, such as Hassan Abi or Vaush. The doe-eyed, long haired, hairless and child-like essence of femininity they hold so dear is all carefully crafted by years of advertisements made by men.

Note that while these men have said things that are equally sexist as the above mentioned group, women of the left not only listen to these men, not only uphold the same sexist beliefs as these men, but worse of all, unlike the aforementioned conservative woman, she will continue to scream in your face that she is doing it for her. That she is not listening to men, and that men do not control her. How frustrating must it be when they realize that is not true. How interesting that no matter where on the political spectrum, men’s options shape the future beliefs of women around them. How interesting that patriarchal values leak into everything they touch.
