Over the years, Michael Shannon has impressed me more and more due to the range of characters he has portrayed.  From the sadistic agent Nelson Van Alden in "Boardwalk Empire" to the benevolent negotiator Gary Noesner in last year's "Waco", Shannon runs the spectrum brilliantly.  Adding his signature to my collection was awesome. #KenCollects #MichaelShannon #BoardwalkEmpire #NelsonVanAlden #GeorgeMueller #Waco #GaryNoesner #GeneralZod #actor #brilliant #autographs #autographed #autographcollection #autographcollector #auto #signed #signature #8x10 https://www.instagram.com/p/BxifGWOgZiM/?igshid=j07dk6r10g9f

New Mexico once again expected to play Texas - this time in a series for SpikeTV starring Taylor Kitsch, Ludacris... https://t.co/yWN5i5g0kv #taylorkitsch #ludacris #newmexico #taylorkitschworld Santa Fe will soon become the back-drop for the infamous Waco stand-off! Spike TV recently announced their partnership with the Weinstein Co. for the new limited series, Waco, set to film in Santa Fe this spring. The series will chronicle the events leading up to the harrowing 51-day siege, which ultimately resulted in the deaths of 76 people, including sect leader David Koresh. Viewers will have the opportunity to glean a new perspective of the 1993 event, as told by some of the nine surviving members of Koresh’s religious sect, the Brand Davidians; as well as the law enforcement that participated in the assault on the compound. Spike TV promises the series will “change the way the dramatic siege will be viewed.” The cast will include #FridayNightLights alumTaylor Kitsch as #DavidKoresh, Boardwalk Empire’s  #MichaelShannon as lead FBI negotiator #GaryNoesner, and Ludacris as Branch Davidian member #WayneMartin. Spike outbid six competitors for the right to air the six-part series, and it marks their highest profile mini-series to date. Spike Executive VP, Sharon Levy shared, “The dramatic events in Waco captivated the nation, and we are thrilled to partner with Weinstein Television, and an all-star cast and production team to bring this incredible story to life.” The series will be directed by #JohnErickDowdle, who spent over three years with his brother, Drew researching and scripting the series. The story is based on two biographies, A Place Called #Waco, by Branch Davidian David Thibodeau, and Stalling for Time: My Life as an FBI Hostage Negotiator, by FBI Agent Noesner. Stay tuned to One Headlight Ink for future updates on this exciting production! Editor’s Note: Michael Shannon just recently wrapped filming on the southern New Mexico film Horse Soldiers. Taylor Kitsch is also no stranger to the Land of Enchantment – he will soon be seen in the New Mexico made movie Granite Mountain and he starred in the 2013 feature film Lone Survivor.
