Chapter 4: Capture With Fear

In the Trolls Brotherhood AU, Warning that it's going to be violent, Branch's darkest fear about the fire. Dante Reyes survived from the fire.

Next day, at the Village's museum of historical, a female tour guide show Talons Bounty Troll Hunters' fallen leader during the fire, since 20 years ago in the forest.

Female Tour Guide: That's was Talons Bounty Troll Hunters' fallen leader was killed by the fires in the woods.

A White South African teenage girl with long light auburn hair, green eyes, pale skin complexion, some freckles on her cheeks and wearing a white collared, button up shirt, a light gray undershirt, a blue sweater with 3/4 sky blue sleeves, a dark pink above the knee skirt with lilac and bubblegum pink checkered capri leggings and lavender Mary Jane's flats and writing down on her journal, she don't want to hunt down trolls, but she want to have peace and quiet, and raised her hand up to ask her.

Female Tour Guide: Yes, Cady, what is it?

Cady Heron: I don't want to hunt the creatures, it's not safe for the trolls. The trolls' leader died after battle it's enemy, 20 years ago, before I was born, Dad is working with Gabby to protect the nature from harm. My grandfather dislike Talons Bounty Troll Hunters hunting trolls. The trolls are singing and dancing with the clan called Wildglade. A one of the trolls turned gray who hate singing and dancing. (The orphans are laughing and playing each other, by running in the museum's hall. The tour guide tell them to stop running.)

Children: Hi, Mrs. Gloria!

Gloria: Kids, please no running, okay, you guys know the rules.

Children: We're sorry, we'll walked slowly okay.

Little girl: The trolls are singing and dancing in the forest every day.

Gloria: Yes, Abby, Pastor Chunch want to protect the wildlife from the hunt.

Abby Schmidt: My friend, Travis and I are playing our instrument, but the trolls like to sing and dance.

Travis: I don't like mean people hunting trolls.

Little Girl: I don't want all the trolls died after the attack.

Little Boy: Me too!

The children are playing their instruments and they dancing with each others just like the trolls.

Arthur Slugworth walked into the museum with a horse and a cart with it. William Afton dislike music, like the trolls, he say.

Arthur Slugworth: Alright, children but you no better to play all the instruments, and it's will be recyclable! (horse neighing) Now go to take all the toys or we will clapped all of you in jail.

The hunters took their instruments away from the children and they recycling the instruments and they laughed evilly, the children are crying and wailing, they want them to do chores.

Victoria Kord: So, Regina, nice suit, today. The training is starting now!

Meanwhile, at the training room for teen hunters will train to hunt down trolls in the forest. They got their suits on their hunt for trolls.

Regina George: Gretchen, Karen, how's did you too get here?

Black teenage boy: (whispered) I don't know!

Polynesian teenage girl: The trolls' home?

Agent Rimes walked into the room.

Agent Rimes: Alright, rookies, listen here, there are rapids creatures, go cross to the woods, jump over the logs and kill and grab all the trolls by bringing them to the prison by poison all the lands, we'll be success our goals. Where's Cady?

Regina George: She's writing her diary again at the museum.

Agent Rimes: Remember focus on your skills, and don't get hurt! Good luck rookies.

The teens put their masks on and we walk into the field with their spyglasses and they looked at the trolls hisses, she used her dart gun and shot it, they ran towards to kill them. They held the guns and they ran fast into their marches. A black teenage boy and a Polynesian teenage girl are get hurt with the red X on their armors.

Karen Smith: Whoa, look at this. Haha!

Black teenage boy: Aw come on!

Polynesian teenage girl: Daiman, I hate hunting trolls so much!

The teens looked up at the trolls, they held their shields and they got to the trees with lot of trolls jumped out and tackled two of them.

Regina George: OH SON OF THE BITCH! (Use toxic chemicals gas and threw it against the trolls, and the tree got knocked down. Dante Reyes walked into the room and clapped his hands with an evil smile.)

Dante Reyes: Tonight, we'll hunt down creatures with our weapons to poison them.

Regina George: Yes, my lord, it's my turn to strings! My turn to hunt! (Pushed in the pushing bag)

The hunters walked out of the room in the darkness, back to the forest, in her bunker, Poppy drew the picture of her, her sister, her mother and her father before her sister's disappearance and her mother's death, she put it back in the box. That night, the teens walked into the woods, with their loaded poisonous dart guns and the butterfly nets are ready, the brothers continued staring at the clear, night sky with peaceful in Branch's heart. They stopped staring at the stars, something caught his eye. He see the hunters in the flashback as baby crying and seeing his father's sacrifice during the attack. End of the flashback, beyond his home, in the trees across the fields and below a mountain. The hunters putting their masks on, then they walked into the woods.

Branch: That's my land, hunters in our homeland.

John Dory: We got to check it out and fast.

Branch: We're going to check it out. See if they might provide danger to our clan.

Floyd: We're be fine.

Spruce: I'm agree with you guys (they grabs their weapons onto their backs, they swung down the the tree they were located on and landed safely on the ground. The brothers swiftly took off.

The bounty troll hunters loaded poisonous dart guns are ready, Dante Reyes walked in the tent. The bounty troll hunters smiled at the rookie with her new suit.

Dante Reyes: Tonight, we hunt down trolls! (Talons Bounty Troll Hunters cheer for his master plan)

Branch, John Dory, Spruce and Floyd continued to ran though the trees and across the valley and valley without having to stop. In order to improve their speed, they sometimes ran in all fours, a trait that their kind uses should they ever want to escape their foes. Unlike the other trolls,the brothers can ran longer distances, has a high stamina for it and many survival skills that were earned throughout the years. Now they're finally paying off. Finally, he reached the edge of the forest until he stopped shortly when they saw something embedded on the dirt. The dogs smell them as they see trolls while they barking at the brothers. They ran across the dogs barking and they were seen them running.

John Dory: (gasped and whispered) Dogs?

Branch: (gasped and whispered) Still fresh,

Spruce: (whispered) Guys, looks the hunters bring the dogs, they barking and stalking at us.

One of the dog: Woof!

Floyd: Who are they?

John Dory: (whispered) Hunters! That's man is their new leader and they want to hunt us down. Since Daddy sacrifice himself to save us all, 20 years since Clay's disappearance along with Viva back, we were kids.

Floyd: (whispered) It's not too late for you to leave. Forgot about us. Just be careful.

Ignacio Carapax: Hmmm! Oof! Oh what the? (One of the dogs barking) I knew, they across all of y'all in the forest. I'm going to the boss about the good news.

Branch: I told you, We'll return to the village. (The brothers looked up at the hunters and they gasped, Dante Reyes say)

Dante Reyes: Suprise, trolls!

Branch: No! It can't be! Listen to me! We must fight to the hunters. Gather Alder want everyone you know and run! GO!

Bounty Troll Hunters #6: We got them now!

Bounty Troll Hunters #9: Ha! Got him! (Branch whipped at the hunters' face)

Branch: Oh, you think so, huh? (hidden smirk, he has reached his end. As he dashed ahead, the hunters gasped when Branch and Floyd suddenly jumped and climbed on narrow edges on the vertical wall. The brothers stretching their hairs and grabbed onto a small rocky ledge of the wall. Waving a wave to the hunters, they swung forward like a slingshot.

The brothers: Yeah!

John Dory: See y'all next fall!

Dante Reyes: Don't ever do this! Regina!

Branch landed upright and hurried off to the exit.

Branch: (laughing, running as fast as he could. He dashed around a corner and ran up the rocky path. But just as they thought they were home free, Regina darted on his right upper shoulder, a rope was suddenly around his waist, trapping his arms, and was pulled to the bottom of the cliff.)

John Dory, Spruce and Floyd: Branch! (Branch groan, Arthur Slugworth and his partners Gerald Prodnose and Felix Fickelgruber used their butterfly nets and captured them as they scream in horror.)

Branch: What just happened? (shook his head and noticed the rope around him. They looked up to where the rope led by Regina.)

Floyd: Who is she?

The brothers looked up at her, a spotlight shined on fully as Branch see poison on his upper shoulder and he shivering with fear.

Branch: AH! No! You're poisoned me!

Spruce: O O Oh, how's could you!

Arthur Slugworth put John Dory, Spruce and Floyd in the bag and tie it up.

John Dory: I It's is... (Arthur Slugworth evil laugh)

John Dory, Spruce and Floyd: NO, NO, NO, NO! D'OH!

Spruce: (mumbled) NO!

Dante Reyes: (evil smile, the hunters holding the rope.) Though you trolls got away, didn't you, trolls?

Branch: (gasped, in the vision, Hernan Reyes' evil laugh, Thorn fight against him. Baby Branch crying and wailing for his father's sacrifice during the attack and the fires. End of the vision, he shivering with his eyes.) Big mistake, ugly! (growled and charged at him. But then another rope to grab his right foot, snared his hair, pulled him back painfully. Ahh!

Branch struggled to escape, managing to pull his arm free, but unfortunately, the hunters threw one more rope which bounded his wrists together.

Branch: Let's us go! (panting, that's he lost his father to the hunters.)

Poppy arrived on the table and see the hunters, they looked at her.

Arthur Slugworth: What was that thing? It's looked like gray but it looking dark. How's it got up here?

Poppy jumped up to try tackled him, Regina used her net to captured her and then he put her in the bag. The hunters tried pulling Branch up, despite his struggles.

Poppy: (mumbled) Hey, watch it!

Dante Reyes: (whipped his horse, with the jeep, the horse neighing) To the village!

He and the hunters walked to jeep while dragging them and straight back to the village. At the Village's museum, Clay and Viva has to escape from prison. Clay is taller and slender, his hair became messy lime green hair and he wear a green one suit romper with a diamond. Viva is slightly taller, her hair is curly, with one lock of her hair resting down on the right side of her face and pink yellow sparkling makeup. She wears a white leotard with golden colored trim and a pink star with golden trim on the the chest. She has red leg warmers with pink lozenges on them.

Clay: (gasped and held his pictures of his mother Ivy, his father Thorn who sacrifice himself to save them, because of his disappearance along with Viva, his grandmother and his brothers.) Mom, Grandma, John Dory, Spruce, Floyd, Branch!

The call of his brothers' help, his mother asked him to come home. He regains his memories, reminiscing those of his brothers, family, friends and himself. He fears of forgetting everything and knowing that losing his brothers.

Clay: I...AM CLAY, SON OF THORN AND IVY AND THE HEIR OF GLADE CLAN! I AM THE MIDDLE BROTHERS OF JOHN DORY, SPRUCE, FLOYD AND BRANCH! I must to save them from the hunters' threats! (running out of the museum, fast as he can to save his brothers.) I'm coming brothers! Help is on the way! I have to go now! That's is my greatest fear. Losing my brothers. I have to save my brothers! He had a big amount of guilt as he blame himself for leaving the forest, since his father's sacrifice during the attack and the fires in the woods. He ran into the church, with a plan and Viva's help to save his brothers.

Can Clay regain his memories and reunite with his brothers on the next chapter.

The Petito-Laundrie Civil Suit

The infamous case of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie has evolved to include their parents. Gabby was a 22-year-old travel blogger who was killed by Brian while they were on a cross-country road trip [1]. In March 2022, Gabby’s parents Nichole Schmidt and Joseph Petito, filed a lawsuit against Brian’s parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie as well as their lawyer Steven Bertolino, for intentional infliction of emotional distress. The Laundries were alleged to have refused to return calls and texts to Gabby’s family during the investigation, which led to the Petitos releasing a public statement begging them to cooperate with the investigation [6]. The Petito family claimed that the Laundries were aware of Gabby’s murder soon after her death in August 2021, and willfully chose to do nothing to help the investigation other than issue a statement through Bertolino saying, “It is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful, and that Miss Petito is reunited with her family” [1]. The Laundries have argued in court filings that they had no duty to respond to the Petito family [7].

In July 2021, Gabby and Brian left for what was intended to be a four-month cross-country trip where they would visit national parks. They planned to sleep in their van and document their travels to post online [2]. In early August 2021, a 911 call was placed by someone who was reported to have seen a confrontation between Gabby and Brian. Police in Moab, Utah pulled the couple’s van over and police bodycam shows Gabby upset and crying. Police reports indicate that Gabby hit Brian, but no arrests were made. However, this contradicted what the 911 caller saw. They state that they saw Brian hit Gabby while they were driving. The couple was separated for the night with Brian checking into a hotel and Gabby staying in the van [2].

In late August 2021, the couple’s van was spotted at Grand Teton National Park and Gabby posted her last picture to Instagram [2]. According to a search warrant, on August 27 Nichole Schmidt said that she received a strange text from Gabby. It read: “Can you help Stan, I just keep getting his voicemails and missed calls.” Stan is Gabby’s grandfather, but she never referred to him by his first name. Nichole said this was out of character for Gabby and confusing [2].

On September 1, 2021, Brian returned home to Florida alone and by September 11, Gabby was reported missing by her family [2]. On September 13, Brian’s parents reported that he left the family home for a hike in the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida, but that he hadn’t returned. They also released a statement through their lawyer saying that they intend to remain in the background while the search for Gabby continues. The Petito family also released a statement accusing Brian of refusing to tell them when he last saw Gabby. By mid-September, Brian was named a person of interest for failing to cooperate with the investigation [2].

On September 19, 2021, remains were found near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming that were later identified to be Gabby Petito’s remains [2]. Soon after this discovery, the FBI raided Brian’s home. They seized his car and a hard drive that they say, “may contain evidence that a felony has been committed.” An arrest warrant was then issued for Brian, who was charged with unauthorized use of a debit card to make unauthorized withdrawals worth more than $1,000 during the time Gabby was missing [2].

On October 6, 2021, it was confirmed that Brian flew home to Florida on August 17 and returned to Utah on August 23, four days before Gabby was last seen [2]. Brian reportedly flew home to get some supplies and to close a storage unit. On October 20, human remains were found at the site where authorities were searching for Brian. Later identified as Brian, authorities announced that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. In the FBI’s final report on the investigation into Gabby’s death, they reported that Brian claimed responsibility for Gabby’s death in a notebook that was found near his remains. The notebook was found alongside a backpack and a revolver. FBI confirmed that Brian had been “attempting to deceive law enforcement by giving the impression that Ms. Petito was still alive by continuing a text chain between their two phones after she is believed to have died.” [2].

At this point, lawsuits are in full swing. In March 2022, the Petito family sued the Laundrie family claiming that Brian told his parents that he killed Gabby and that they concealed Brian’s confession to committing the murder [2]. The Laundries filed to dismiss the lawsuit, calling it “baseless and frivolous”, but the lawsuit moved forward. In August 2022, the Petito family also filed a $50 million wrongful death suit against Utah police. The lawsuit named the Moab Police Department, three of its officers, and 10 other unnamed defendants and accused them of “negligent failure” in their investigation into the alleged assault between Gabby and Brian, weeks before Gabby’s murder. In a report, the Moab police officers indicate that they made “unintentional mistakes” on the day of the incident, and in November 2022, the Petito family was awarded $3 million dollars in the wrongful death suit. The Petito’s lawyer announced that whatever money was received will go to the Gabby Petito Foundation, which is dedicated to locating missing people and curbing domestic violence [2].

Depositions in the civil suit filed by the Petitos against the Laundries have recently been released, which shows a more complete timeline in the aftermath of Gabby’s disappearance [4]. On August 29, 2021, Brian told his parents that Gabby was “gone” and to “call a lawyer” in what is described as a frantic phone call that took place three weeks before Gabby’s remains were found. On September 2, 2021, Brian’s parents sent Stephen Bertolino a retainer and Bertolino entered into a fee agreement with a criminal defense firm in Wyoming [3]. The same day Brian “frantically” called his parents, documents also allege that Brian was using Gabby’s phone pretending to be her in text messages to her family [4]. When asked what Roberta Laundrie understood what Gabby being “gone” meant in her deposition, she stated, “I wasn’t sure. I don’t even remember what I thought. (Brian) was very upset. He didn’t sound like himself. I knew something was wrong.” The attorney for the Petito family then asked Roberta on why Brian saying “(Gabby’s) gone. Call a lawyer.” didn’t raise any alarm bells. Roberta responded with, “A lot of things ran through my head. Possibly they got into a fight, and you know, maybe she’s going to press charges against him or something? I don’t know.” In her deposition Roberta Laundrie also denied blocking Nichole Schmidt on social media but admitted to ignoring her texts at the advice of Bertolino [4].

After going back and forth on whether to include an incriminating letter from Roberta Laundrie to Brian in the civil suit, a judge in the 12th Judicial Circuit Court determined that it could be relevant to the case and that the plaintiff’s lawyers should at least get a copy [7]. The letter was found near Brian’s remains and said “burn after reading” on the envelope. It contained “references to bringing a shovel to help bury a body, and baking a cake with a shiv in it should Brian Laundrie go to prison” [6]. Roberta Laundrie has continued to state that she wrote the letter before Brian left for his trip with Gabby. She said, “It was a poor choice of words. When I read this later, I was like ‘This sounds awful’. It was a jokey, stupid letter that I dashed off before he left with lots of bad jokes and poor humor…I never imagined any of this.” Roberta also states that her and Brian’s relationship was strained before he left on the trip, so she wrote the letter to remind her son that she would always love him [6].

The Petito and Laundrie family have decided to settle the civil suit between them to avoid going to trial [1]. The details of the settlement were not disclosed, but it reportedly came “after a long day of mediation.” The Petito family said that “All parties reluctantly agreed in order to avoid further legal expenses and prolonged personal conflict” [5].

Branch: Troll Of The Wildglade

Chapter 5: Viva & Clay At The Orphanage Home

During Trolls Brotherhood AU, Clay blamed himself for leaving the forest with Viva, they were kids. They are joined forces with their friends.

Clay running to the church, the doors opened and he when the sun had completely reached its morning peak, it was clear and peaceful, but he ran to the hallway as quickly as he possibly could.

Villager: That's creature just keeps getting weirder.

The children are playing their instruments and they dancing around each others, Abby looked at the paw prints and draw a little troll. Viva walked into the playroom. Clay walked into the room, and seeing a black woman wearing nun clothes with Italian man with light brown hair, green eyes, brown mustache and fair skin and wearing a cream collared button up shirt, reddish brown blazer jacket, brown pants with tan brown belt around his waist, black socks and gray loafers, his name is Dr. Leslie Ferrier who created Maximals, a western lowland gorilla named Optimus Primal, a cheetah named Cheetor, a white rhinoceros named Rhinox and a peregrine falcon named Airazor.

Cady walked into the church and saw her father, she picked Clay up and put him on her carry bag. She walked towards him.

Cady Heron: Dad!

Dr. Leslie Ferrier: Cady! (Hugs his daughter, Clay asked him about he left in the woods 20 years ago and Professor Bruce Davis walked into the church and warned them about Dante Reyes and the Talons Bounty Troll Hunters captured four teal trolls and a gray troll in the valley.) Uncle, what is it?

Professor Burce Davis: Leslie, Gabby, Reyes and his hunters captured the five trolls and take them to the village and someone created toxic chemicals.

Dr. Leslie Ferrier: Who!

Gabby: Afton, he created toxic chemicals to poison all the lands.

Clay: (gasped) No! My brothers are in danger, I have to save them! Before he'll poison my family and my brothers. (held a picture of his family and hug it.) Pop, you're in my heart, I think so fast that I miss you so much, wish me luck, I will save my brothers.

Abby and Travis walked into the church, Father Julius and Victoria Kord were in the meeting room with Abacus talking about not to hunt down trolls and poison all the lands.

Abacus: Victoria, how's could you? Why did Afton create toxic chemicals gas for poisoning the plants and the animals? The trolls and their trollings are safe in the forest until you are planning to poisoned them.

Victoria Kord: Because I raise my hand to make agreements to poison the nature, then the trolls will died in the Talons grasp and then we will destroy the forest, once and for all.

Jennifer Kord: What the hell are you doing Aunt! I want you to stop destroying the whole forest and leave the plants and the animals alone.

Clay: (walked toward the meeting and seemed Victoria asked Abacus to stop the protest. He sneak into the room, he walked quietly) Johnny, Spruce, Floyd, Branch, it's me, Clay, do you guys remember, I'm blaming myself for I left you guys, I was a little kid. Since Papa died for his sacrifice to save me and you guys expect Mom. I need you guys please, can everyone to hear me?

Victoria Kord: (Clay looked up at her with her cat on her lap, as it's hissed at him, Clay gasped) You! How's did you get here? (Clay scream and the cat jumped down by starting to change him, Abby looked down and she trying opened the door.)

Clay: (knocking on the door) I...Must....To...Get...Out of here, right now. (The door is opening, ran to the children. Abby whipped the cat's head.)

Abby Schmidt: (cat meowing) Bad kitty! Don't hurt a little troll, he just scared and worried about the other trolls.

Travis: Mom, sir, madam, a troll is scared and sad about leaving the forest.

Victoria Kord: Trolls are monsters! Who's entering this room. The hunters will be here any minutes. I don't want them to fail them again because you, Pastor!

Abacus Chunch: The boy is right, he is scared and his sadness, he fear losing the other trolls and blame himself for leaving the forest and I want Hernan Reyes and his hunters to stop hunting before he died when the fire started in the forest, they were rescue by the soldiers, I was sent to the hospital and the Glade Clan's leader died from his injury since he sacrifice himself to save the other trolls in the forest, 20 years ago. He needs his brothers for he leaving the forest. (Clay sobbing)

Victoria Kord: Forget! I will never trust you!

Noah Diaz: (he grew up as he wore police uniforms) No! Kord, Pastor Chunch, Reyes and his hunters went to hunt down trolls and I felt scared, I was a little, before the fires explosion in the forest and Reyes were burned to ashes, the trolls' leader died after the battle, it's sacrifice itself to protect his family.

Jennifer Kord: I will not hunt down trolls and he blame himself for leaving the forest during the fire cause explosion in the forest.

Victoria Kord walked out of the church and grabbed her cat, and walked into Afton's lab. At the playroom, the children are playing their instruments, they walked into the playroom. Clay asked Viva about they left the forest, she remembered the night, the hunters attack in the forest and then the fire started in the woods.

Viva: What? Poppy? (gasped) I'm a lost princess! We left the forest, Father and Poppy are out there, and Mother died from her illness. She turned gray and Clay, you and I will save our long lost siblings.

Abby Schmidt: What's wrong? Clay, Vee Vee, are you too okay?

Clay: Hey Abby, hey Travis, I'm feeling sad about Dad's sacrifice himself to save me, my friend, and my family. Mom, Gran Gran, and my brothers are worried about me. We left the forest (sobbing) he died from his injury and I've never go to his funeral.

Abby Schmidt: I'm sorry for your loss, my brother Mike, Garrett, my mommy and my daddy, our aunt Jane took care of us, since mommy and daddy died in the accident, when I was really small, 8 years ago. Janis?

Janis 'Imi'ike: I'm worried about my mom!

Travis: What's happened to her?

Damian Hubbard: Janis?

Janis 'Imi'ike: I got to go! (running away and into the quiet room)

Travis: What happened to your parents, Damian?

Damian Hubbard: My uncle died from cancer, when I was your age.

Viva: Yeah, I see you guys, the hunters got my sister and Clay's brothers were captured by Dante Reyes who's leading them to hunt down the others. We will join forces to save our long lost siblings from the hunters' threats.

Janis 'Imi'ike: What's did you mean? You're a heir and a princess, we will join you guys to save your siblings.

Damian Hubbard: You were born in the woods.

Clay: We're joining forces to save our long lost siblings and let's asked the professor.

Clay: Same D.N.A. but born this way, same D.N.A. but born this way.

Will Clay, Viva and their friends to find the hunters and reunited with their long lost siblings? William Afton will poisoned Branch for their plans.
