Big Boss Portraits. Not my cat. His people are Gab Smolders and Jacksepticeye. Thought it would be fun to draw him. Got quite a few likes for them on Reddit. But I can't post them again on the same subreddit because the moderators will take them down. They really don't like reposts. I'd do another portrait, but I haven't had the time to do any drawing at all in a year. So no telling when I can get back to it.

P.S. - These are for sale as prints and on other products at Redbubble. I'm CherokeeGal1975 there. I always use my user name as a search term, so that should help. Or at least I hope so.

About Death Mark Let's Plays

In the Spirit Hunter Series fandom I saw that most of (if not all) have watched the Let's Plays of the YouTuber "ManlyBadassHero" (if they have not played the games themselves, of course).

I, however, have found this series/fandom through the YouTuber "Gab Smolders" when the third game (Death Mark 2) came out and discovered her other Let's Plays of the other games. And I find that so interesting! How so many people can get into the same fandoms through different medias/youtubers/general influences.

But I will, through that, not get some jokes that Manly has made in his videos that the fandom will reference (while I will laugh at jokes Gab has made (Gabu Gabu.. hehe)). And I don't know why that makes me feel so... I don't know... sad? Almost lonely? (It is also something easily fixable but oh well.)

I don't know why I made this post. It doesn't even have a point. I guess, this observation is just something I wanted to share. It is just a wild feeling to see everyone have such a vast different experience then your own in the same fandom/media. (warning: fangirling under cut)

Also! Can only highly recommened Gab Smolders in general! She is just such a chill youtuber and streamer.

She has second channel where she just relaxes and plays escape games or puzzles and talks with her viewers. And on her main she mainly plays horror games but also lots of other things - like Stardew Valley or A Little To The Left! (She also has a very cute cat named BB (short for Big Boss I recently learned lol))

Big Boss's Portrait. I eventually found Gab Smolder's Twitter account and like many cat gradians, she takes lots of photos of her cat. I am also a repeat "offender", so I get it. Which is great for me, I can use those as references. This one was Big Boss on the back of their couch. By this time, after drawing so many of our own cats, I got into the habit of leaving the background blank and focusing only on my subject. Later I changed that in one of my later portrait works with a couple of simple decorations. People on Reddit liked this one quite a bit for a short while.

Never sold a single copy of this one...which is nothing new. I've only sold seven items in three years on Redbubble. I'm certain it will continue to stay that way for the rest of my life. I don't go for what's trending, don't have time for it either. So, I'm constantly under the public's radar or even interest as far as buying what I have. So, basically, it's worthless monetarily. It's worth a lot to me. I worked on it. Drawing fur is a slow process. Most of my pet portraits take about a week, but there was one that took three months to complete.

Anyway, I happen to like their cat. So, I drew him.
