Hanahaki Disease victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear/memories as well.
But because im a snzfucker, instead of coughing i made it sneezing! also being allergic to your love interest favorite flower is such a great concept and i wanted to explore it more!!!
And because May @waterfallofspace is a amazing person & a gem and I care about them-- I made this whole idea for G/eto and G/o/jo sooooo enjoy this 16/17 min wav!! yes i HC ge/t/o favorite flowers are sunflowers idk why i went with it- also sorry if the ending is very rushed im bad at ending things haha.
time frame: over 18+ of course but idk somewhere before he turned evil ahah you pick the timeframe
cw: sneezing, coughing, sniffling, play teasing, there are some quite parts so i aplogize for that i hope you can hear everything! Walking around sounds, playful fighting, speaking in there own head (reverb effect), slow burn, love confession, mentions of surgy and medical stuff, mentions of dying/death.some kissing sound effects at the end, probably other stuff but yeah.

Thinking of you (j/jk)
(after writing the whole thing out, it actually got pretty long, arghsgd.)
I wrote this with s/atos/ugu in mind but I ended up not establishing it explicitly, so I'll leave that up to interpretation.. but obviously they are in love.
Anywayy, my first full fic for j/jk? And it's for them? I mean of course it is. Who else would it be for?
2.9k words
--------------------------------------------------
They were currently in another city, on a mission, having been specially requested.
The exorcism was done quickly (of course) and Gojo suggested they shop for souvenirs to bring back for their friends, to which Geto agreed with a rather reluctant sigh.
Unbeknownst to Gojo, Geto had been struggling through a suppressed cold for the past few days, and it was making him become easily exhausted.
However, in an attempt to avoid the stew of questions that would follow if he turned Gojo down, Geto opted to go to the nearby mall instead of returning to the hotel for much needed rest.
He followed Gojo around for an hour before he felt his body begging him to stop, to let up. At the moment, Gojo seemed to be absorbed in the wide array of sweet snacks on display. Geto considered this to be his first little glimmer of luck for the day.
"Satoru- I'll just be over there alright? There's something I want to look at."
"Mm, yeah, okay-" Occupied with his basket full of goods, Gojo didn't spare Geto a second glance nor did he notice anything, much to Geto's relief.
Making quick escape from the store, Geto looked around desperately for a bench, a stool, anything for him to sit down and rest.
And he found one, an empty seat by the side of a big fountain right in the middle of the mall.
As Geto sat down, he resisted the urge to curl his knees against his chest. Isn't is supposed to be summer right now? Why is he freezing?
Water from the fountain splashed around him. He had noticed the slight temperature drop due to the flowing water. Normally, it would have been a good relief from the heat. But right now, it only served to make him shiver harder.
He should really move to a warmer spot.
Geto considered getting up from his seat, but his eyelids felt heavy, and his legs were begging him not to stand up for the next few minutes.
It wasn't as if he could find another place anyway. Everything suddenly felt really blurry, and Geto was sure he could fall asleep right there and then, if not for the dull tickle that formed at the back of his nose, courtesy of the cold temperature.
"..h'-hngxtt!! hh-tch'gxt!!"
They came out louder then normal, due to Geto having no energy left to stifle them into complete silence. He crossed his arms around himself, pulling the jacket he was wearing tighter around his body.
He shivered. Not warm enough.
"..hhH'-!!"
And to make matters worse, the urge to sneeze creeps back up on him. Preparing a fist in anticipation..
It never comes.
"hh'H-!! a-ah'.. m'n.. snff-"
A quick glance around the mall gave Geto the comfort that he was indeed alone. If need be, he could always give his nose a mildly rough rub to send him back into a building hitch. But doing that has only ever led to sneezes that came out harsher, and that would be hell on his throat. He'd rather avoid that at all costs.
As if fate was playing with him, some of the water from the fountain splashed onto the bit of exposed skin on his neck, causing rapid shivers to run down his spine.
Raising an arm to wipe the droplet away, it was quickly re-directed away from his back and in front of his face-
"..haH'-ngXxt'chh!! hH'..hNgxt! "
The first one manages to escape due to how unexpectedly it came. However, the second that followed was quickly pinched into submission.
Geto sighs inwardly, rubbing his nose softly. He could feel a dull ache starting to pool between his eyes. Tomorrow was going to be a lot worse. He could already hear Gojo reprimanding him for not taking care of himself, all while begrudgingly making a cup of warm tea for him.
(of course i meant 'begrudgingly' here not in a literal way but more of an endearing 'take care of yourself, dammit! or i'll do it for you.' way)
It may not seem like it most of the time, but Gojo cares about people in his own way. Geto had been on the receiving end of several of such telling acts before.
As an example, Geto was half sure that Gojo had put a little more effort into the exorcism this morning than he normally would have, allowing Geto to take is easy.
Or it could have been sheer pure coincidence. Whatever it was, he was grateful.
Speaking of which, where was he? Geto was fairly sure a good chunk of time had passed since he made his timely escape. A quick check of his phone showed no missed calls or messages.
All he wanted to do at the moment was to burry himself under the covers of the hotel bed. Why did he even agree to follow Satoru here in the first place? Oh, right. It was the fear of being alone in this state.
Gojo was as much of his weakness as Geto was sure he was to the other.
Geto leaned forward to hold his head in his hands. He must be having a mild fever, if these thoughts running through his mind was any indication of the fact.
"..hH'tchh'w!! hah'dtchh!!"
With his hands still covering his face, Geto decided against stifling those. His head hurt, and the sneezes were soft enough that the noise from the fountain behind him muffled the sound. Besides, nobody was watching.
Geto remembers the first time he sneezed in front of Gojo. it was an accident, one that he normally didn't make in front of people. He remembers Gojo reaching for his wrist and pulling it away from his face as he geared up to stifle another.
"..Suguru, don't do that."
Nothing else was said, but Geto distinctively remembers the way Gojo was looking at him. No disgust in his eyes at all. Just pure tenderness.
"..haH'dZzch!!"
"See? That's a lot better, isn't it?"
There was just something about that interaction that melted Geto's heart.
Back to the present, Geto had shut his eyes, and was starting to drift off into a light sleep when a gentle hand on his back made him jolt up in surprise.
"Bless you."
"..Satoru? are you done shopping?"
"Suguru- are you feeling alright?" He had completely ignored the question about shopping.
"Yeah, I'm fine, what makes you think otherwise?"
Behind the sunglasses, Geto could make out an unamused look coming from the other. Then, he notices the cool palm resting against his forehead. How long had Satoru's hand been there for? Had he really not felt the touch until now? Maybe he was more out of it than he gave credit to.
"Well I don't know. Maybe the fact you've left my side for a good half hour? I thought you were going to come back once you were done looking at whatever you left for. I was waiting, only to find you crouched over here! Not to mention the fever you're running right now."
Geto winced at the scolding tone of Gojo's voice. Moments of silence passed before he heard a soft sigh.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to shout. Want to head back? Can you walk?"
Geto nodded in response to the question. Using Gojo as a crutch, he rose to his feet, making sure the world stopped spinning before he opened his eyes.
The comforting hand that was on his back never left its place throughout the whole trip back to the hotel. Halfway through, the coat that Gojo was wearing even found its way onto Geto's shivering frame.
"Suguru, go lie down. I'll make you some tea."
There it was. The tea, just like he had expected.
"I was wondering if this morning was a fluke. Guess it wasn't after all. I have quite the foresight, don't I? Putting in a little more effort so you didn't have to," Gojo remarked rather smugly, though there was a tone of softness behind it.
"You're lucky exhaustion only caught up to you at the mall, what was I supposed to report if you collapsed while the exorcism was still happening? You need to take better care of yourself, Suguru."
And there was the scolding, just like he had expected. But he wasn't going to take that sitting down, fever or not.
"You're one to talk."
"HaH?? I take perfectly good care of myself."
"Says the one who passed out through lessons last week."
Gojo grumbled something that Geto couldn't quite catch in response to that statement. When he finally turned around, mug in hand, Geto could have sworn he saw a look of concern flash past Gojo's features.
Either that, or it was the fever making him see things. No matter what it was, Geto reached out a shaky hand to clasp at the steaming mug Gojo held out for him. He hopes the shivers had went unnoticed.
"You know, a few more sugar cubes would never hurt."
Geto couldn't help but smile.
"Well, I'm not you. Thank god I'm not you, a-actually. hH'..having two of y-you running around would cause our teachers a b'hH!! ..bigger headache, I'm sure."
Gojo watched, unamused as Geto turned to the side to stifle three itchy sounding sneezes into silence.
"A bigger headache than you're giving yourself by doing that?"
"..Yes."
Gojo let out a small sigh of defeat before making his way to where their luggage was. Carefully, he pried Geto's open, before realising that he should actually ask where the thing he was looking for was.
"..So where's the medicine?"
"..Medicine?"
"Yeah, for your cold. You packed some, right? There's no way you just caught that today."
Geto felt his legs curl up under the blanket. He considered lying, saying a quick "I didn't" or a quick "it started today". But then Gojo would probably leave the hotel to go buy him some, and he didn't want the other to leave his side, not yet.
"..Top half, middle pouch, shoved all the way to the bottom."
After a bit of digging, Gojo pulls out a small packet.
"When's the last time you took this?"
"..In the morning."
Gojo hummed in reply, moving to push one of the pills out before returning to Geto's side.
"It's a new pack too. Recently bought from the store? Is that why you randomly left school alone the other day?"
"..Maybe."
"How long did you intend to hide this for?"
"..Until i got better.
"You weren't going to tell me?"
"No."
"Why? You don't trust me?"
"..I didn't want you to worry."
"Suguru- you know I only worry because I care."
Geto had to laugh at that, softly. "You're saying weird things, Satoru."
"It's weird that I care about you?"
"No. It's weird that you're expressing it so openly."
Gojo let out a small sound of exasperation, holding out his hand as he looked away. "Take it, you need to get that fever down."
"Mm, thanks."
Once the mug was empty, Gojo made a quick trip to the sink to clear out the teabag, before he returned to the bed, this time crawling onto it from his end instead of standing by the side.
He flops onto the pillows, fluffy white hair spanning out. A hand makes its way onto Geto's chest, tapping it lightly, an unspoken invitation.
Beside him, Geto sighs. "It's still early, Satoru. You sure you don't want to go walk around a little by yourself? We're heading back tomorrow anyway."
"M.. yeah. I already bought everything I need. And besides, there's no way I'm leaving you here alone."
"Because of your 'worry' again?"
That same little sound of frustration left Gojo's lips as he threw the blanket over himself rather haphazardly.
Right. The only person he'd get this worried about was Suguru. It always has been this way, and probably would stay this way. He was the only one Gojo would show this side of himself to.
Instead of a response, Gojo slipped his arm under Geto's chest, pulling himself closer to the other.
"..Enough about that, you should rest now."
Geto allowed himself to get pulled under the covers, allowed Gojo to press his head softly against his chest.
He could feel Gojo's heartbeat, steady but fast. The rhythm slowly lulled him into a state of drowsiness, and Geto would have fallen asleep right there, if not for yet another tickle that buzzed at the back of his nose.
"S-Satoru.. hH'-!! I- I have t'hh-!!"
Gojo made no signs to move despite Geto's light tapping against his back. Just his luck that his arms were trapped under Gojo's sleeping body.
The light tapping turned frantic, before Geto squeezed his eyes shut, bracing his forehead against Gojo's chest, trying his best to keep the outburst as quiet as possible.
"hiH'tchh-w!! hah'zchh!! ..snff- hh'ngxt!!"
The last one, painfully stifled without his fingers, sent a shiver down Geto's spine from the effort it took.
"..Suguru, you should just let them out."
So he was awake after all. The bastard just wanted to watch him suffer.
Geto sniffled, pulling his arm from under Gojo's body.
"I.."
"If you're worried about it getting everywhere, you can just use my shirt, you know?"
Geto blinked once, twice. Did he hear that right?
"Why do you think I'm wearing this one? It's the softest I've got." Gojo pulled up the edge of his shirt in demonstration, bringing it to Geto's cheek and wiping is softly. "See? You can just use it, it won't irritate your nose further."
Geto opened his mouth to argue, but was interrupted by a hitch in his breath.
"hH'-!!"
Taking advantage of the other's sudden vulnerability, Gojo grabbed both of Geto's wrists, pinning it against his own chest.
"Trust me, Suguru."
"Let.. m'hH-!! ..me g-ghh'!! ..go-"
"Not until you-"
"..hH'!! ..haH'dzZchh!! ..hiH'zzch-w!! ..hH' haH'DshH!!"
"There we g-"
"..heH'DzZtchh!!" hah-hH'dtch-iww!! I'm s..shH' haH'tzcHH!!"
Geto refused to lift his head, instead choosing to ram his forehead into Gojo's chest. Underneath his fingertips, Geto could feel Gojo's heart racing.
"See? That wasn't so difficult, was it?"
When he was met with no response, Gojo reached under his shirt with the hand currency not occupied with securing Geto's wrists to his chest. He lifted the soft fabric with careful fingers, bundling it before gently pressing it to the base of Geto's nose.
Gojo felt the other stiffen against him as his shirt made contact with the sensitive skin. Geto could feel Gojo's slender fingers through the cloth. If he didn't know better, he would've sworn that they were quivering.
After a moment of silence, Gojo was the first to speak.
"See? It's okay. Don't worry."
"..You don't think I'm- ..it's ..disgusting or anything?"
"Of course not. Why would I?"
If there was any point in time that Geto felt like crawling into a hole, it would have been this moment. He was sure inside his ribcage, his own heart was beating as fast as the one under his palms.
He sniffled uselessly, the thought of pulling away completely leaving his mind. Satoru was right, the shirt felt really soft against his nose.
"Suguru, You're shivering."
Was he?
Gojo sighed, letting go of his wrists to reach over, pulling the blanket over to cover up to Geto's neck.
"Get some rest, okay? We have an early flight tomorrow."
"..snff- That goes for you as well."
"I'll sleep, after you."
Soon after, Geto drifts off into peaceful sleep, his head pressed against Gojo's warm chest, arms wrapped around the other as if Gojo was the only thing grounding him to reality.
Gojo on the other hand, watched with endearment as Geto shifted in his sleep, letting out muted stuffy snores every now and then. The hand on Geto's back remained through the night, all whilst rubbing comforting circles into it.
He remembers the words that Geto once told him a while back when he was in a similar situation, knocked out from a bad cold.
"Satoru, you've been too strong for too long. Let me take over, even if just for a little while."
And now it was his turn. Gojo lowered his head to Geto's, his voice a soft whisper, afraid that he would disturb this much needed sleep.
"Suguru, I'll take over from here. Get some rest, okay? I'll be here when you wake up in the morning."
With that, Gojo let his chin rest softly atop Geto's head, palm finally slowing to a stop. And if they shifted in their sleep such that they woke up with their limbs all entangled with each other? That would be a memory for another time.
And the shirt? Gojo had folded it gently into his bag in the morning, only to take it out on their flight back home to be used as a pillow for Geto as he dozed off against his shoulder. And if they held hands under the armrest, fingers intertwined? That never happened.
Gojo's lips curled into a contented smile as he tilted his head to rest against Geto's. Truly, he did not even remember the grade of the curses that they had exorcised last morning.
Not that it's important, Gojo thought. Nothing is. At least compared to you.
-end-

My first full fic for j/jk, and my first fic in a long while too ahhhhh
oh god i hope i did the characters justice. it was rly fun to write this one, i won't lie about that.
Maybe gojo was a little ooc in this, but i genuinely think that when he's alone with geto, especially with the state that geto is in, his soft side would shine a little more.
This started out as a 100-200ish word scenario, but i have NO IDEA what happened, but i kept typing, and this was the outcome
▪︎•▪︎
but anyway, i hope it was a nice read either way
Edit: theres a sequel now shsjhs

Here are my g/eto s/uguru snz hc!
Hc prompt
General q’s (will do the rest later if anyone wants)
🐶Default volume? Any reason why?
Quiet, but only cause he stifles. He finds it more polite, especially if someone is talking and he needs to sneeze. (His natural sneeze is loud and disruptive)
🐱Triggers? (In order from most to least)
Smoke(literally in love with this hc), incense, only certain types of flowers, dust
🐭how do they cover? Actions during sneeze
Pinches his nose to stifle them
🐹Actions post snz?
He usually says “sorry, excuse me” especially if he interrupted something. Doesn’t blow his nose right away unless it starts to affect his voice, and even then he won’t do it in-front of someone
🐰Light vs severe head cold?
I feel like he’s prone to fevers, gets slightly embarrassed about being sick cause he doesn’t wanna be seen as weak and needing pity
🦊How many times is a lot for the character?
Maybe 3 at most unless it’s smoke then he will have a huge fit
🦄what is their attitude on sneezing?
Isn’t embarrassed by sneezing but is worried about people thinking he is gross and also he hates being disruptive. Also he will get embarrassed if someone draws attention to it!

What it means to be the Strongest (j/jk)
Again writen with s/atos/ugu in mind, but unestablished, though definitely in love.
Summary: So my previous fic, if i remember correctly, had a line like:
["S/atoru, you've been too strong for too long. Let me take over, even if just for a little while."]
and then i realised i have something like that in my drafts, so why not i just develop the thought a little?
Notes: the timeline for this would be set before my previous fic [here] but reading it it isn't required to understand this one.
possibly written in the context of pre-RCT g/ojo? because i didn't want him to have the ability to replenish himself in any way. cue "Domain Amplification": Exhaustion.
there's also a point in the fic i used single inverted commas, like this: '[text]'. js to clarify, those are not actual dialogue but just g/eto's thoughts. uh.. it will make more sense when you reach that part..
And finally, to cope with the month of wait before Shibuya, I present to you..
3.4k words
------------------------------------------
"Satoru, you've been specially requested."
"..Specially requested."
"..Specially resquested."
Geto watches as Gojo visibly deflates, before he shakes his head, expression changing as he stands up with that same bravo as ever.
"Right!! I'll prepare to leave immediately!"
The quiver in his legs don't go unnoticed by Geto.
This has been been happening for the past month. Don't they have other sorcerers that they can send?
The answer to that was obvious.
Of course there was. But who in the right mind would call on someone who was below 'the best option'?
Mission after mission, Geto finds himself missing the company of his friend. Normally, they would go on them together, but the recent spike in cases had left him with barely any space to breathe either, though he was relatively sure they were easier on him compared to Gojo.
He swears the other hadn't slept in weeks. Geto would return to their dorms, and the bed would still made the way he left it in the morning.
The few times he had tried to look under Gojo's sunglasses for eyebags, his hand had been swatted away, either physically or stopped with Infinity.
"Suguruu- I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"..Then look me in the eyes and say that again."
Gojo would laugh in response, waving his wrist dismissively in Geto's direction. "Of course I'm fine, we're the strongest, remember? It won't be fair I claimed to be tired now would it? Not that I am, of course."
Yes it would be, it would be fair. You need breaks too, Geto wanted to say, was going to say, if not for another interruption, this time from Gojo's phone.
It lit up in his lap, before the screen was raised to eye level. Geto watched as Gojo's eyebrows furrowed, shoulders slumping almost unnoticeably in disappointment.
He has seen this play out a thousand times before. As much as Geto wanted to reach out to drag Gojo back down next to him, his hand was frozen to his side.
"Another special request.. ahhh- I guess I better go get ready."
Geto watched silently as Gojo sauntered away, as if he was about to leave for a party, not a possibly life-threatening mission. Seriously.. he was forever taking things too lightly.
Geto wanted to do something, anything. Maybe file a request to give Satoru some space to breathe? Possibly even an argument that allowed him to join in the missions as backup?
Anything.
But there was always the possibility that Gojo would turn down rest, no matter how desperately he needed it. He was wearing himself dangerously thin, like a thread about to snap. All he needed was a little tug to break.
Break.
___
Days later:
"Satoru- want to go get a drink? I just saw the workers leaving, I think they got the machines refilled."
When met with no reply, Geto turned back, only to see Gojo spacing out a distance away.
"Sa-to-ru. Satoru- are you there?"
He walks up to the other, waving an open palm in front of the bowed head.
Behind the sunglasses, Geto sees Gojo's eyelashes flutter open before a finger came up to push them back into position, covering his eyes from view.
"Ah- yeah I'm here. Sorry, what were you saying?"
There he went again, dozing off at every chance he got. Geto noticed that had started happening two days ago. In class, during training, while queuing for food, while standing. And now, even while walking.
"..hH'!! ..hAH'sHHiew!! hh'..heH'tchH!!"
And there was that too. Something was definitely wrong.
"Satoru- when's the last time you slept?"
"I was just sleeping, hahaha-! Didn't you see?"
"That's not-"
"Suguru, if you're going to chew me out for not resting again, I assure you, I'm perfhH'.. perfectly.. fhH'.. fine-"
Geto shot him a look that screamed "Really??", and Gojo would have seen it, if not for the fact he snapped to the side violently, bending over as his breath hitched desperately.
"..hh'-hIH-tcHH'iew!! ..hAH'zZchHiw!!"
"Sa-"
"Dhh'..Don't worry abou'uhH'- hhH'!! hiH'zZchh!! ..hAH'DzZsh'w!! ..a-about me."
With the way he was swaying at the moment, Geto was sure a light breeze could knock him over.
What more, with the way he was standing, slouched over, a passerby would never be able to tell that Gojo was the taller of the two.
Hence, while Geto wouldn't consider himself to be one who actively sought after physical contact with Gojo (that's a lie though), he couldn't help but inch closer to the other, putting a comforting arm around Gojo's waist.
Geto then stared at the top of Gojo's head. Did his hair always look this messy? Surely not. Satoru wasn't one who paid too much attention to appearances, but this was taking it to an extreme.
"You look like you're going to collapse. Seriously. Tell me what's wrong."
"..Maybe- maybe.." Gojo mumbled as a response to Geto's earlier statement. "..Maybe I'm not feeling as well I thought.. haha-"
Geto sighs. "Took you damn near long enough. Come on, let's head back to our dorm. The drinks can wait."
Gojo whined something incomprehensible before he reached out a shaky hand to grab the arm supporting him from behind. He tilted his head up at an angle to shoot Geto a playful yet tired smirk. "Wait.. ahhh- Suguru.. s-sorry- I think.. I think I'm gonna to pass out right now."
Of course. Of course he could still find the energy to fool around in such circumstances. It was one of Gojo's character traits that Geto never understood.
He had half a mind to ask the other to snap out of it. But upon further inspection, Geto watched as Gojo's pupil glazed over with a hazy, faraway look, before it shrunk, eyelids sliding shut as Gojo went slack in his arms.
Seriously. Jokes like these should really be saved for less dire situations.
"..Satoru.. come on, let's go back."
No response.
"..Oi- Satoru.. you can't be serious. Quit fucking with me.."
No response. It's fine. Gojo liked messing with him after all.
"..S-Satoru.. oi Satoru!"
"..Fuck."
"..Fuck Fuck FUCK-! You can't be serious-"
He wasn't joking.
Forgetting that he could always manipulate his curses to handle Gojo's weight, Geto slipped his free hand under Gojo's knees, hauling him into his arms, bridal style.
"..Asshole! You're such an asshole."
'Your asshole though, right?' Geto could hear Gojo's teasing voice in his head as he made his way quickly through the hallway, his pace bordering a sprint.
That's right. My asshole.
Geto placed Gojo gently on the freshly made bed. It was probably the first time in weeks he had laid there. A soft groan escaped Gojo's lips as his head made contact with the soft pillow.
Good. He wasn't dead yet.
However, a quick touch to his cheek made Geto question his previous thought. With a fever like that, how was he not dead?
Quickly grabbing a small towel, Geto soaked it with water from his bottle, wringing it onto the floor before he brought it to the other's forehead. The mess of water puddles could wait. He had more important things to tend to.
Geto carefully folded and set Gojo's sunglasses aside, gently brushing away the strands of hair covering his face. The wet cloth was then put on his forehead.
It's not much, but it should help.
Knowing Gojo, he probably didn't take any medicine since this started. Speaking of which, Geto made a mental note to ask when it did. Gojo had been busy with a mission for the past few days, so it probably meant he was working through whatever this was.
Probably a cold.
The sneezing earlier should have been an obvious indication, but the fever he was currently running sealed the deal.
Geto knew exhaustion would eventually catch up to him. To be completely honest, he had thought Gojo would give in earlier. He must have been holding out way pass his limits.
It was alright to be weak at times, even for the 'Strongest', a concept that Gojo never seemed to understand. Either that or he did, but chose to ignore it in place of his ego and the fact that he didn't want anyone else to get hurt in his place if the curses turned out to the stronger than reported.
Geto suspected the reason leaned more towards the latter. Gojo had always cared about others in his own way, whether he considered them weak or not. Although.. with the way he openly made fun of people around him, it would cause others to beg otherwise.
Geto knew him better than that.
A soft whine drew him back into the present. Geto turned to focus his attention on Gojo. Even in the dimly lit room, his brilliant blue eyes were hard to miss, hard to look away from, no matter how dulled they were from the haze of the fever.
"Suguru.. Suguru-"
"Shh. Rest. I'm here."
"..You carried me here?"
"Mm."
Gojo let out a laugh that looked like it took all his effort. "You're stronger than you look then."
"You're just lighter than you look."
The small exchange put Geto slightly more at ease. If Satoru could still make any conversation into a joke, he was fine. Well, it at least meant his brain wasn't fried yet.
A sharp, feathery inhale dragged Geto's attention back to the bed.
"..hih'tchh!! hh'..hah'tchiw!!"
"Bless you." God. Even his sneezes sounded tired, a complete difference from his normal, over exaggerated ones.
"snff'- ..thanks."
Gojo looked seconds away from passing out again, his fist closing around the soft blanket. Sighing, Geto stood up.
"Alright, that's enough of being awake for you. Go back to sleep, okay? Let yourself rest for once."
"Hah.. so reluctant to talk to me?"
Quite the opposite, actually, Geto wanted to say. Instead, he reached over to straighten the cloth. It had fallen over to cover one of Gojo's eyes, making him look a lot more endearing than Geto would ever care to admit.
"Of course not. I just have something I have to get done, so I'll be leaving for a bit."
Geto turned away right as Gojo's frame sunk into the mattress in disappointment. If he had seen it, there was no way Geto would have left his side for another good year.
"Mm, okay."
Geto was careful not to open the door too wide. It was early in the evening, and he wanted to let in as little light as possible. Satoru had always been sensitive after all.
Behind the closed door, Gojo turned to the side, snatching Geto's pillow into his chest, pulling it into a tight embrace. He was sure the other wouldn't mind.
__
Getting pissed won't help anybody, Geto knew that, he really did. But with Gojo practically forced into bed-rest for at least half a week, he needed to raise some of his concerns to his teachers, at least.
He pulls the classroom door open.
"Sensei-"
"Ah, Suguru. Right on time. I've got a new mission file for you."
"Right. That's exactly what I've come to talk to you ab-"
"Satoru has been specially requested."
"..See that's-"
"But I've written in to specially request you to follow him."
"-exactly what I've been.. huh? What?"
The teacher gave him a knowing smile before sliding a file over the table. Of course. Always doing things in a roundabout way. He's seen that before.
"..Thank you."
He takes the file, quickly leaving the classroom afterwards, his legs taking him subconsciously back to where the dorms where as his hands occupied themselves with flipping through the documents.
Halfway through the mission file, Geto feels something slip out from between the pages. He leans forward to pick it up, a knowing smile flashing across his face.
A small packet of fever medicine.
Seems his teacher had the same idea, that Gojo would never go out of his way to get supplies, if at all, when he fell sick. Well, that saved him half the trouble.
And here came the other half.
When Geto returned to their dorm, he noticed the aura of Gojo's technique surrounding himself. It shocked him at first, but Geto figures that in his vulnerable state, Gojo's mind subconsciously casts infinity to keep him safe.
Though.. it could also have been a side effect from all the dangerous missions that they had put him through for the past month, such that his body was on heightened alert even during rest.
Well that's a first.
He hadn't really been around Gojo while he was sick before, especially not to the extent of passing out like that.
Surely this continuous usage of Infinity counted as over-exertion, evident from Gojo's slightly furrowed eyebrows despite him being asleep. His breathing was also choppier than usual, either due to the congestion or disturbed rest.
Surprisingly, Geto noticed that Infinity seemed to thin out as he approached the bed.
He remembers Gojo telling him, "Suguru- you know, I can totally tell apart your cursed energy from others!"
Was Satoru's body really recognising him and relaxing because of it? Guess that whole 'telling apart' thing wasn't a lie after all.
Geto reaches out a palm and presses it against Gojo's forehead. His hand easily passes through the barrier, making contact with the other. The damp cloth lay uselessly by the side of the pillow, having fulfilled its purpose.
Still warm, but cooler than before.
Gojo whines against the touch as he slowly stirs. "Suguruu- you're backk.."
"Mm." Geto hummed in reply, sitting himself by the edge of the bed. "Did you sleep well?"
"Ah.. not really."
The raw honesty catches Geto off-guard, especially compared to the previous few days, where Gojo would wave him off for being too worried, right up till the point he collapsed.
He supposes that upon admitting "I'm not feeling well", Gojo's walls simply crumbled, leaving him in Geto's care.
The mattress shifted as Gojo turned to the side, a wrist coming up to rub at his nose.
"S-Sorry.. I- hh' have t'hH-!! hih'tchh!! haH'zzchh!!"
He sniffles against his wrist, watching with teary eyes as Geto pulls out a small pack of travel tissues from the drawer before handing it to him.
"Th'hH-!! ..thank y-you.. hH'hihchH'iw!! hah'zzdchH!!"
He pulls out a piece, pressing it softly against his nose. Outside, the sun had barely start setting.
"..snff'.. Suguru- why are you here anyway? Don't you have better things to do?"
Better things to do than look after you? Unlikely. And your Infinity will just go up again once I leave. But of course Geto doesn't say that.
Instead, he raises the file in his hand. "Background information on a mission. I'll have to read it eventually anyway, I can do it here, I've got time."
"..A mission?"
"Yes. For the two of us, actually."
"Really?? I get to go with you this time?" Happiness seeped into his words, bringing an unconscious smile to Geto's face.
"Mm, but I doubt they'd let you go in this state."
Without even looking over, Geto swore he could hear the pout in Gojo's voice.
"Aw.. b-but I wna go with you."
"..Then get better. Quickly." Because I don't want to leave without you either. I'm never leaving you alone again if I can help it.
"Sigh- alright, alright.. I'll get some rest."
"Before that.." Geto suddenly remembered, rising to his feet to retrieve a mug. He should probably get Satoru to take the medicine as soon as possib-
Geto hears a crash behind him.
"SAtoru!"
On the floor, Gojo laughs softly at himself, hanging half off the bed.
"S-Sorry-"
"What were you doing?"
Gojo looked almost embarrassed. "Ah.. nothing, honestly.. I just.. I guess I just.. panicked when I saw you get up.. that's all. I thought you were going to leave again.."
Again? ..Oh, right. He had left for the classrooms earlier. Why didn't Satoru just say something before he did? Forget that. Why didn't he notice?
Geto quickly grabbed a mug, filling it with water before he returned to the bedside.
"I'm sorry."
"Hm? Ahh- it's okay, it's okay.. I was just saying silly things."
"No. Don't say that. It's okay to want company, to need company. That's why I'm here, right?"
"Mm, yeah."
"..Why do you sound so reluctant to admit it?"
Gojo shifted again, this time tilting his head away from Geto.
"..Suguru. Am I'm strong?"
"Mm, why the sudden question?"
"..Am I still considered strong if.. if something as simple as a cold can.. can.. hH'..hih'DzchH!! haH'tchHew!! ..snff'.. fuck. I can't even control those."
"I'd honestly be more surprised if you could." Geto replied, bringing the mug up to Gojo's lips. His voice sounded harsh, and the constant sneezes were not helping. "C'mon, look over here, you should drink something."
Gojo sighed, shifting the tissue away to drink from his mouth.
"Take these too."
"..Medicine? Where did you get those from?"
"Sensei."
"Ahh- damn. He really knows everything doesn't he?"
"Anyone on the outside could tell that you were wearing yourself thin, not just him. Shoko had her fair share of worries for you as well."
Gojo remained silent upon hearing that, seemingly very interested in the cup he was drinking from.
Geto felt his heart skip a beat. Had he said something wrong? Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned that fact it was obvious.
The silence lasted for a few moments, before Gojo inhaled sharply, turning to the side.
"..hH'-aH'zZchH!! hah-hH'tcHHiw!! hiH'dzZch'w!! hH'!!-..snff- hehh'tchhiw!"
Geto startled at the fit, though he quickly collected himself, eyes focusing on what appeared to be an extremely sorry Gojo.
In his hand was the empty mug, its contents having been spilled all over the blanket from the violent jerks, a side effect of the sneezing.
"..I'm s-orry.."
Geto paused in his actions of retrieving a cloth for the mess. Something was wrong. Satoru had a voice break? No matter how cute it was (god forbid he admit that), he had never heard the other say anything with such a broken tone before.
Forgetting the cloth, Geto quickly returned to Gojo's side, wrapping his arms around the shivering frame of Gojo's body, head resting above his.
Gojo froze in place, shocked at the sudden but welcomed contact. The mug in his hand slowly slipped off his fingers, falling onto the covers. A small whine escaped his lips yet again as Gojo's fingers repurposed themselves with grabbing gently at Geto's arm.
He found himself leaning into the warm embarce, turning his head slightly such that his cheek could rest against Geto's chest.
Gojo had longed for this for days. Days. Days. He could feel tears starting to form at the corner of his eyes. From the cold or from his overflowing emotions? He had no idea.
"Suguru. Come lie down with me, please?"
He didn't need to be asked twice.
Within seconds, Geto had climbed onto the bed, getting comfortable under the covers as he extended a hand to Gojo.
"Come. Leave that side. It's wet." An excuse to get Gojo into his arms.
Gojo crawled over to where Geto was waiting, instantly latching onto the other the moment he got close enough to do so.
As Geto's arms close around him once again, Gojo realised that he had never felt so.. so safe, so.. comforted, before. It was a new feeling, one he was afraid of yet welcomed.
He had only known Suguru for a year, but damn was the guy making him question his own feelings left right and center.
A hand found itself on the back of Gojo's head as he snuggled closer into Geto's chest, burying his nose into the folds of Geto's shirt.
Drowsiness slowly started to take over as Gojo felt like this was the first time in forever he was truly allowed to relax. Was it from the medicine? Or was it from Geto's steady heartbeat that was lulling him to sleep? In all honesty, it didn't matter.
Geto felt Gojo relax in his embrace. Once the stuffy soft snores started to slip into a rhythm, he tilted his head downwards, whispering in a low, soothing voice.
"Satoru, you've been too strong for too long. Let me take over, even if just for a little while."
That was the last thing said for the night, as Geto himself started to drift off into sleep, the sun setting behind him
Unknown to the other, Gojo's lips curled into a smile.
Really.. the things Suguru says when he thinks no one is listening. It was going to be the death of him one day.

Finishing notes:
this fic actually stemmed from the phrase "what if Gojo's Infinity came up by itself when he's sick?" then it.. became.. this.. somehow..
decided to change their roles here ahhh- caretaker Getoo-
maybe i wrote Gojo a little out of character with the amount of clinging he did to Geto (also the whole DON'T LEAVE ME panic of a sick person in bed), but hey. i'm a strong advocate for clingy sick Gojo, sue me.
i also wanted to keep up the soft Gojo writing, soo i tried the whole "strong character falls weak to a cold" trope thing
BUT i also know for a FACT that i was NOT going to be satisfied if i just let Gojo go out like that, so i tried making his collapse scene exclusively *him*
by that i mean i tried making it slightly humorous. ahh well if it ended up not coming out like that.. it's still fine
also wanted to write a whole "Gojo pretending he's alright when he's not" fic, and was trying to capture the whole "once he admits he's not okay, everything comes crumbling down and he's a mess" thing
i feel like a lot more could have been written in this fic.. but the problem was i didn't know how to.. shshhdhshds im getting better i swear (abit more of this in the tags)
i hope the final scene read as soft as i was hoping it would. just picture Gojo sinking into Geto's hug, smooshing his face against Geto's chest, whining a whole bunch, breathing in his scent
..or maybe scratch the scent part, since Gojo's nose is a little congested//
anyway, hope it was a nice read and thankyou for stopping by!!

Ignorance (j/jk)
Summary: a new AC is installed to their shared dorm, and g/eto is (unfortunately) sensitive to the cold temperature
Ship: s/atos/ugu- they sleep together so its pretty established
Notes: i noted s/hoko calls g/ojo and g/eto by their surnames in the anime so i'll be keeping it the same way here.
the fic was just supposed to be g/eto falling sick due to the temperature, but it took a turn at the end where g/ojo experiences what a cold is for the first time.
3.2k words.
-----------------------------------------
"Waahh- It feels so much better in our room now.. Seriously, why didn't we ask for this sooner?"
"We never needed it before, it never used to be this warm."
"Ahh, ah yeah. It's because of global warming."
Geto opened his mouth to argue that it was due to them sleeping huddled together, buried in each others embrace that caused the heat, but he decided to keep quiet.
Satoru has recently invited him to sleep over permanenly, and after a few weeks, they decided to send in a request for an aircon.
In all honesty, Geto was fine with the temperature. But Gojo would wake up and complain about the heat, ending their hug. Geto was getting annoyed with it.
So now it whirled overhead.
Geto had not been able to sleep well, he admits this to himself only. He had never been too good with low temperatures, with the way his nose would start to run and with the way an itch would form at the back of his increasingly dry throat.
Tonight was no different. Despite being under the blanket and cuddled from behind, Geto found himself shivering.
It wasn't violent enough to wake Gojo up, though. Geto doubted anything would wake the other up anyway. They had tired each other out after a whole night of activity, the weight of Gojo's fingers still somewhat lingering over his wrists.
Geto stares at the small green light of the aircon. Too cold. It was way too cold.
He inhales sharply as gojo hugs him tighter from behind. Right. Satoru had a habit of doing that.
Unfortunately, the wave of cold air that entered his lungs was quite unwelcomed. Geto could feel it tickling his airways.
"..hih-N'Gxt!!"
He didn't remember it being this bad the first day the aircon got installed. It had to be his lack of sleep. More than that, his throat had been uncharacteristically dry since a few days ago
Geto swallowed as a way to test the waters. No pain. He was fine, at least for now.
Pulling the blanket up to his chin, Geto exhaled, feeling the warm of his breath against his cheek. He's fine.
Morning rolled around much faster than he had anticipated.
----
"Ohayo Suguruu--"
Geto felt Gojo rubbing his head against his chest, bright blue eyes staring straight at him. He looked so endearing like this, Geto couldn't help but place a kiss on his forehead.
"Ohayo, Satoru.."
His voice had come out scratchier than normal, but he was sure it was overlookable due to it being early in the morning.
Gojo leapt out of bed, stretching himself awake. His hair poked out of his head from all different directions. To that, Gojo quickly ran a hand down his scalp.
Geto smiled to himself. Waking up like this everyday was pure bliss. Now if only he wasn't as tired as he was..
"Suguruu- c'mon, we need to go for our morning run before Sensei comes for our throats again."
Not waiting for Geto's response, Gojo takes off his shirt, bending over to dig through the drawers for his school track uniform.
Geto watches from where he was, still lying down, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. Satoru looked so damn good just by doing absolutely anything.
"Suguru? Aren't you getting up? We have to go."
"Mm, I'll catch up later.. wna lie down a little bit more."
"Ehhh..? Something wrong? Did I tire you out too much last night?" Gojo looked over to him, slight mirth in his eyes.
"Yeah, exactly that."
"Ahh, I'm sorry, heheh." (he was not sorry). "I'll see you at the track then. Half an hour max, alright? You need to run at least a round to make it convincing."
"Mm.."
Gojo turned to leave the room, before he changed his mind, scrambling over to where Geto was, leaning over to press a kiss against his temple.
"Okayyy, byeee-♡"
Geto huffed to himself. Seriously, who was the older one here? Still, he would do anything for the other. Anything.
"..hiH' hitchh-w!! hah'tzchh!!"
Anything. Even at the expense of himself.
Geto knew sooner or later he would come down with something. He always did, whenever the temperature got a little low. During the winter seasons, it was absolute hell. But at least he could dress warmly then.
In their shared dorm? Not so much.
"..hAH'dZzchh!! ..snff-"
The back of his wrist was already coated with a layer of mist. Nothing he couldn't handle. Some sleep would get rid of it, he was sure.
Geto blinked at the green light of the air-conditioner. He should.. he should really switch that off..
Curling into the warm pocket of space that Gojo had left behind, Geto drifted off once again.
-----
"Suguru- SUGURU-!!! Oiii, I thought I told you half hour max?!"
What was going on?
Geto was shaken awake, bright light invading his eyes as he opened them. The warm blanket around him was then yanked off roughly. A shiver ran down his spine.
"Satoru-"
"QUICK! HE'S GOING TO MAKE US CLEAN THE STOREROOM AGAIN!"
Geto felt his wrist being pulled as he was lifted off the bed. Another tug sent him flying out of the room, Gojo pulling him towards the shared bathing area.
He felt cold water splash onto his face.
"?!"
"Water. We have to make it convincing that you ran a few laps." Gojo stepped back, analysing him for awhile. "Alright. You look tired enough to pass, let's go, quickly!"
"Satoru.. I'm still in my sleepwear.."
"Heh? ..Eh?? EHHH-!!"
Gojo led him into the courtyard after a quick change of clothes. The sun had barely started to rise. Added with the consistent evaporation of the water on his skin, Geto couldn't help the light quivers that ran down his frame.
Really.. every morning with Satoru was sure to be an entertaining one, albeit tiring.
-----
Lunch was no different, say for the dull throbbing that had started to form throughout his head. Beside him, Gojo was talking on and on about how ugly his piece of lettuce looked.
"Shoko-!! I'm telling you! It looks juuust like the curse we exorcised last week. This part is its arms, here's the head.. Suguru- oi Suguru, it looks like it, doesn't it?"
Geto felt a jab to his rib.
"What-?" (his voice broke)
"It looks like it, right? Right?"
"Mm, yeah, yeah it does.." What was Satoru on about this time?
"See?!!" Gojo leaned back happily, waving the food item in front of Shoko, who looked extremely unamused.
Geto stared at his own tray. Inbetween closing his eyes, rubbing his temples and trying not to sneeze, he swore he had eaten more than what was left on his plate.
There was still time before the next lesson. If he took a rest now, his body might just make it in time. With that, he stood up.
"I'm going back first."
"Hahh? Suguru- I thought we were supposed to play basketball later?"
"Mm, yeah. I'm going to go get ready first."
Gojo flashed him an OK! symbol before he turned back to the table.
Now it was just a matter of how long he could keep up this guise.
Geto slid open the doors to the dorm, a wave of cold air 'welcoming' him. If he hadn't been gripping onto the door frame, Geto was sure his knees would have given way.
Shit. With their hurry this morning, they had forgot to turn off the aircon. Geto swears that if he pours water on the floor, it was going to freeze over.
The controller. Where was it? He had to turn this monstrosity off.
Geto fumbled through the mountain of Gojo's belongings on the table. Seriously, Satoru had to learn how to tidy up after himself.
Admist the searching, Geto accidentally knocks off one of their long metal rulers, and it hits the floor with a loud clang.
There goes the rest of his headache.
Finger pressed against his temple, Geto gave up looking for the controller. He wouldn't be surprised if Gojo had accidentally stuffed it into his school bag, which was currently on his person.
Well whatever.
Geto pulled open the cupboard with an effort, pulling out a few of his thicker jackets meant for winter. Throwing them onto the bed, Geto joined them shortly.
He would keep them before Satoru came to bug him for the game of basketball. He would keep them before- before..
Geto's eyelids felt heavy. He'd finish that thought later.. later.
-----
Back at the lunch table:
"Gojo.."
"Mm?" He pauses mid-bite. "What is it?"
Shoko sighs, playing with the lighter between her fingers. "You need to be a lot more sensitive, you know that?"
"Sensitive? You mean to cursed energy? My eyes already do that, don't worry."
"Idiot. I meant that you should be more sensitive to Geto."
"..Suguru? My eyes can tell apart his cursed energy from others."
Shoko sighs again, pressing her lighter onto the table. "Not that."
"Then? You mean I should be less rough with him when we-"
"Not that! I Do Not want to hear about that!"
Gojo smirks. "Alright, alright."
"..Anyway, didn't you notice anything wrong with him?" Shoko says instead.
"Mm? Ah.. I guess Suguru hasn't insulted my intelligence today."
"That's why I'm doing it right now."
Gojo feigns hurt as Shoko pulls out a cigarette.
"Cutting to the chase, Geto seemed barely able to stay awake just now."
He supposes she does have a point. Suguru had been exceptionally sluggish today, but he was sure it was nothing to be worried about, nothing a sugared drink can't fix.
"..Seriously Gojo, didn't you notice how tired he looked when he left the table?"
In all honesty, he had not.
"..So, do I really need to spell it out for you?"
Gojo sheepishly looked away as Shoko shot him a look that screamed "you suck!"
"I'll go check on him."
"Mm, thank me later."
-----
In the hallway:
Gojo made his way quickly to their dorm. Now that Shoko had mentioned it, he couldn't get it out of his head that something had indeed been up with the other.
Firstly, what was up with that whole 'sleeping-in' episode? He knew for a fact that Suguru was always the one chasing him to get changed and leave.
And Geto hadn't asked him to stop playing with his food during lunch, not once. Even though he was normally the one who ensured that Gojo's food actually made its way into his mouth.
Not to mention leaving the table alone. Suguru almost never went anywhere without him.
Picking futher, Gojo remembers how tired Geto looked in the morning, as if he didn't get a wink of sleep.
Had he really not noticed before?
Thinking about it now would do him no good. Steadying himself, Gojo slides open the door.
----
"Suguruu- are you there?"
Even in the dim room, Gojo could make out the mess of blankets on their bed. He could hear Geto's shallow breaths. They sounded.. rough.. for someone who was supposedly asleep.
Something was definitely wrong. Hadn't Suguru said he was heading back to the dorms to get changed for basketb- oh. Oh of course. How could he have been so dense? The other had probably said that in an attempt to escape the lunch table.
Gojo closes the door behind him, afraid the light from outside might wake Geto up. He clenched his fist. Open, close, open.
Dammit.
How was he supposed to approach the other?
Gojo had never been in a situation like this before. In his eyes, there was nothing wrong with Suguru. His flow of cursed energy was stable, though muted. But that normally happened when he was asleep.
What was wrong, then?
As Gojo neared the bed, he saw the edge of the blanket get tugged upwards.
He reached over, tugging the blanket back down.
"Suguru, are-"
His eyes widened.
Gojo remembers how his teachers would drill into his head the concept of "searching for signs of curses using their residuals" when he first joined Jujutsu High.
Of course, he could already do that naturally with his six eyes.
But this. This was something else entirely.
What he saw in front of him was not something that would ever have been written into any mission handbook.
Gojo's eyes traced over what was presented to him when Geto looked at him hazily, as if he just woke up from restless sleep.
Cheeks flushed.
Eyes unfocused.
Nose tinted pink.
Small quivers in the fingers gripping the blanket.
"Sa-toru..?"
And when he spoke, it was as soft as ever, with an added edge of roughness that made Gojo's heart run laps around his ribcage. His voice sounded like a running river that had flowed over a particularly rocky path.
If residuals showed signs of curses in the area, what did these show?
Gojo reached out gently. He wanted to know, needed to know.
"Sugu-"
Before he could finish the sentence, however, Geto turned sharply to the side.
"..hh' w-wait.. I.. hH'gNxXt!! ..hAH'nGxt!! .. snff-!! ..m'sorry.."
"Aahh- no. It's okay- are you okay?" Gojo felt his voice catch in his throat. He had never seen Geto like this before. It scared him.
But a part of him subconsciously made his hand move to Geto's neck, pressing in softly.
He was warm, extremely warm.
In an attempt to help, Gojo tugs the blanket off Geto's body.
"..Suguru, you're going to give yourself heatstroke, take the jackets off.."
"N-No, you don't g-Hh'!! ..get it.. it's c-chH'!! hah'Ngxtt!! hih'dNxggt!! hH'gNxx-chh!! ..it's cold.."
"It is?" A genuine question.
Gojo turned to the messy table, digging through the mess of papers and unopened sweet packets. When he came up with nothing, Gojo turned to another messy pile on the floor.
"Why didn't you just say something?"
Geto watched as Gojo fished the remote out from under a discarded mission file.
The aircon went off with a beep, leaving behind a sudden dense feeling in the air. The shift in pressure placed a fuzzy feeling in Geto's sinuses.
"..hh'nGx-tch!! hH'gNxxt-iw!!"
Gojo tilted a curious head in his direction.
"Why are you still sneezing? I turned it off."
Geto shot an annoyed glance at him. "That's n-not ..hH-! ..h'Ngxt!! ..not how colds work."
"Oh." Gojo replied, dumbfounded.
"..Do you even know what that is?"
To that, Gojo nodded. "Yes, but I was told that colds are a sign of weakness, that I shouldn't get them, because I'm supposed to be the strongest, so I don't have much experience with them."
"Who told you that..?"
"The people who raised me, of course."
Geto was suddenly glad that they no longer had a hand in raising his friend. Seriously, driving these thoughts into the head of a child was wrong, even if said child was the bearer of two of the most broken abilities.
"Anyway.." Gojo continued, "Suguru, you sure it's a cold? You're strong too, so I didn't think you could.. get colds."
Geto sighed. One step at a time, it seems.
"Everyone can get them."
"Ah, really?"
"..Surely you've gotten a fever before?"
"Fever?"
Geto sighed again, reaching out to grab Gojo's hand, pressing it against his forehead.
"Tryna tell me how hot you are?" Gojo smirks slightly. "Seriously though, isn't that because you've literally dressed yourself for winter?"
He points at the jackets Geto had sitting around him.
Geto exhales slowly from his mouth. Just how was he going to explain this?
"..When someone falls sick, they get a fever, and that makes them feel cold, because of the difference in temperature between the body and the surrounding air."
"..Then why didn't you just turn the aircon off just now?"
"Because I couldn't find the damn remote through all the mess!" After raising his voice slightly, Geto turns away to cough softly into his fist. Ah, he shouldn't have done that.
Next to him, Gojo reaches for the half empty bottle of water across the table before uncapping it, passing it to the other.
For someone so seemingly oblivious to the things happening around him, Satoru was surprisingly considerate at times, Geto notes with a smile.
"That doesn't explain why this is all pink though," Gojo says suddenly, stepping up so he can press a finger to the very tip of Geto's nose.
"Sa-hH'!! hIH'dZtcHH!! haH'EhkshH!! ..Satoru! Don't..dohH'!! ..hi'tgNxtt!! ..don't do that.."
"So that's how your sneezes sound like without you pinching them away!"
Geto froze in place. Ah.. the fit had set on so quickly that he didn't have time to stifle. He hadn't even realised. A blush creeped up onto his cheeks.
"Seriously though, why do you always do that?"
Geto looked away, hoping the flush wouldn't deepen. "It's not.. well, it's not-"
"..Everyone does it, right?" Gojo interrupted. "Just like you told me everyone can catch colds, everyone sneezes too, so why are you so shy about it?"
"..Well yes, but using that same logic, you won't just change your clothes in front of anyone, would you?"
Gojo went silent for awhile, as if he was contemplating something deeply. Seconds later, he turned to Geto with a small smile.
"So I'm special then!"
"Hm?"
"Because you sneezed in front of me."
Before Geto could calm himself down enough to give an answer, Gojo bent down, pressing his lips gently against the edge of Geto's eye.
"Suguruu, was the aircon really bothering you that much? You've got eyebags."
"Mm."
"Why didn't you say anything then?" Gojo asks again.
"..You were enjoying it, so I thought I'd-"
"Sacrifice yourself for me??"
"..It's not that dramatic, Satoru."
"Yeah but still," Gojo pouts a little before speaking. "I would have suffered through the heat for you."
Yet again he proves to be considerate. How was he to respond to that?
"But then you always.. always-" ..always break the hug when it gets too hot. Geto catches himself before the rest of that sentence slips out, but the other seemed to get its implication.
"I didnt want us to wake up all sweaty, that's all. But if you're okay with it, I won't let go."
Geto opened his mouth in an attempt to deny the fact he liked being hugged, but Gojo quickly circled around to his side of the bed, leaning forward to kiss Geto's temple.
"I heard sleep helps to make colds better."
"That's what I was trying to do before you barged in and tugged my blanket off."
"Heh, a consequence of moving in with me."
"Mm. I'm not backing out, though."
"Hah! As if I would let you do such a thing."
Geto couldn't help the soft laugher that escaped him, even if it made him bend over with a light coughing fit.
"Alright alright.." Gojo said, patting Geto's back gently. "Take off the damn jacket, I wna hug you."
"..As you wish."
----
The rest of the day was spent lazily in bed, with Geto occasionally waking up just to dissolve into rapid fits that left him exhausted and clinging onto Gojo for comfort.
Seriously, if colds made Suguru this touchy, he wouldn't mind helping the other through a few more.
-end-
-------------------------------------------
Finishing notes:
Filling up plot holes: the teacher cancelled lessons for the rest of the day, since it was hand-to-hand combat. with geto sick and gojo having no partner to spar with, the lesson was postponed. that's why satosugu could just stay in bed. ofc, they would have either way.
Yeah gojo caught geto's cold after this, and experienced his first sick, yay!
Sorry for the once again plot>snz fic, but that's normally how my stuff goes
Also at the beginning of the fic i wonder if anyone got the global warming reference hahsvagj
tysm for reading agshhs

just thinking about G/ojo and G/eto again:
G/ojo always having a problem with the morning sunlight - maybe he didn't like to sleep with the curtains fully drawn, since it was wayy too dark, and moonlight helped him sleep better.
But the problem with that was when morning rolled around, sunlight would stream into his room and he'd wake up only to be sent into fits of photic snezes that lasted till breakfast. It wasn't all that bad, just annoying at times, especially if G/ojo was in a rush to do something (or late for class)
Things changed when G/eto moved in to sleep with him in the same dorm.
Mornings were now spent with his face smooshed into G/eto's chest per last night's activities, or G/eto would purposely wake up ealier to shut the curtains fully. (anything to make G/ojo more comfortable)
But either way the bright morning sun stopped being such a bother.
Except for the times G/eto "accidentally" left the curtains open (maybe to wake G/ojo up since 'we are an hour late for classes S/atoru, please get up.') or when they were both too worn out from previous nightly activities.
On these mornings, G/ojo would be sent into itchy fits as G/eto sat beside him and rubbed his back. (maybe even going to retrieve his sunglasses for him, getting tissues, or letting him use his shirt//ahhh)

thinking about the (possible) first time G/ojo wore a blindfold:
-
"S/atoru- what are you wearing?"
"Hm? Ah.. I couldn't find my glasses this morning, so these would suffice for now.. besides the sun has been really bright these few days, and this covers my eyes more."
Gojo reaches out to trace his fingers over the cloth covering his eyes. The truth was, he hadn't been able to sleep for the past couple of days, and his eyebags were getting more and more obvious. He knew Geto would be worried if he saw them, so he opted to wear something that covered his eyes entirely.
It wasn't as if he couldn't see anymore with that thing over his eyes, so he figured it would be a good cover-up.
The problem was finding the cloth. Gojo has rummaged through his room the entire morning, only to come out empty handed. Eventually he found a blindfold in the storeroom behind his class. It was supposedly used for training, or something along the lines of that. Not thinking much of it, he wrapped it around his head.
Ever since he had put it on, however, a mild buzz had settled itself into the back of his nose. It was probably just due to the lack of sleep, probably. Was what he told himself.
"Hih'tchh!!"
"Bless you. Where did you get that blindfold from anyway?"
"..The storeroom."
"The one behind our class?"
Gojo simply nodded in reply, suddenly being overwhelmed by another urge to sneze.
"..You know how dusty the things in there are, right?"
At this point, Gojo was barely listening to what Geto was saying. In fact, he had completely stopped in his tracks, breath held in anticipation.
And just like that, the feeling passed.
"snff- Sorry, you were saying?"
"Dust. See, there's even some on the blindfold."
Gojo watched as Geto brought a finger up to his face, tracing the edge of the blindfold resting just above his nose.
"Especially here."
Ah. That was probably the reason his nose seemed to be complaining for minutes on end.
Gojo attempted to laugh off the matter, but every inhale, no matter how small, served only to aggravate the burn in his sinuses.
"It's f'hH!! ..fine"
Geto watched, unasmused by Gojo's stubbornness, "Really?"
"R-Really.. hH'!! h'tchh!! hah'zZtchh!!"
At this point, Gojo was bent over, facing away from Geto with a fist raised against his nose. He felt a single tear slip out of his eye, only to be absorbed by the blindfold.
Geto sighed once the fit seemed to die down. "For someone self-proclaimed as the strongest, you really are quite stubborn sometimes."
"Hah?"
Gojo flinches as Geto reaches out to pull up the blindfold.
"Take it off, for your sake. We can go buy another pair of sunglasses later."
When Gojo doesn't reply, Geto reaches out a thumb to wipe away the stay tear below his eye.
"Satoru?"
"Ah- right.. yeah, I probably should.." Gojo held Geto's stare for a moment, before the other pulled away.
"Satoru, have you been sleeping alright? You look really tired."
Gojo sighed inwardly. Trust Geto to pick up on that after mere seconds of staring at his uncovered eyes. There's no way he can lie his way out of this one, not anymore.
"..Maybe not"
Gojo adverts his gaze, expecting a lecture of some sort. "Maybe cut down on the video games", "Stop staying up so late," words of that sort. What he was not expecting instead, was:
"Want me to come over tonight?"
"Yeah, yeah I got it- ..wait, what?" did he hear that right?
Geto cleared his throat softly, "..Don't make me repeat that, Satoru."
"Ah- right, Mm, yes.. actually, I'd love to have you over. Maybe, probably."
"Which one is it?"
A stray blindfold hit the side of Geto's arm. "Yes, it's yes.. of course it's a yes. What do you think..?"
Geto laughs softly in reply. "I'll bring some tea."
"With sugar?"
"Of course."
-
thats it, just my thoughts on them

Thinking about G/eto being able to tell apart what is making G/ojo snez after being around him for so long.
Maybe returning back to the dorms with cold medicine even though G/ojo insists that he was just snezing from the dust in their room.
Or G/eto forcing G/ojo to take a break from training even though G/ojo insists that its the sunlight that's making him snez and not anything else.
G/eto: "Your photic snezes are a lot less harsh than these, S/atoru-"
G/ojo: "..I guess, but who even pays attention?"
G/eto: Me.
Maybe G/eto even takes pre-emptive steps whenever he feels like G/ojo might come down with something. (Eg: noticing that he hasn't been resting much and is falling asleep in class, noticing that he has been spacing out a lot, noticing that he has been sniffling quite a bit into his wrist)
Something like making G/ojo a cup of tea (with many sugar cubes), or G/eto pretending that he himself is tired and wants to sleep, as an excuse to drag the other to bed with him.
-
Of course the opposite is also true.
When G/ojo notices that G/eto has been holding back a snez for quite some time now (maybe because they were currently with people), he would absolutely come up with some lame excuse to get the two of them away from the group.
"S/uguru- wna go get something from the vending machine? I'm thirsty."
Before anyone replies, G/ojo is already dragging his friend off towards the direction of said machines.
After checking that the coast is clear, G/ojo leans against the wall. "Okay, you can sneeze now."
G/eto being confused for a second, before his eyes look over to the other with appreciation. He proceeds to have a small uncovered fit, (its just him and G/ojo anyway, he was alright letting them out around him.)
Afterwards:
"Feeling better?"
"..Yeah"
G/ojo pushes himself off the wall. "Alright, so which drink do you want?"
G/eto knows this is G/ojo's way of downplaying his "I'm looking out for you", acting like it isn't a big deal. Either due to to his own embarrassment or because he knew G/eto was shy about these kinds of things.
But some gratitude could never hurt.
"S/atoru?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you."
The whole façade of "it's no big deal, i'm just looking out for you" falls apart as G/ojo gets a little flustered at the thanks.
"Ahh- it's nothing, really.."
"It wasn't nothing to me though."

just a thought before i go to sleep. was actually dozing off already when this popped into my head. got up from my bed and typed while squinting:
---------
it's spring time, the season where g/eto's nose annoys him to no end.
and for that reason, g/ojo and g/eto always slept with the windows closed.
one morning, g/eto wakes up with his nose buzzing, allergic tears by the sides of his eyes. not being able to control himself, he lets out an itchy fit, pulling g/ojo into a tighter hug.
"bless youu- and good morning."
g/eto sniffles in response, letting out a stuffy "i'm sorry you had to wake up like that."
g/ojo answers with a"there's no other way il'd rather wake up though."
g/eto shoot him an unammused look, to which g/ojo replies by kissing him on the nose.
"what's setting you off anyway? are the windows closed?"
they both look over to where the curtains are drawn.
"..ah right, i'll go check."
g/ojo stands up, pulling the curtains back in an extravagant way, only to be instantly hit with the reason why they were drawn shut in the first place.
he bends over as an itchy photic fit takes over, leaving him barely able to catch his breath.
behind him, g/ojo hears g/eto stifling his own fit into pinched fingers.
guess he had forgotten to shut the windows after all.

MORE J/JK THOUGHTS based off the episodes we have right now, hope you guys don't mind
ive had these for awhile but finally decided to sit down and actually find the photos and whatnot i wna use
since there are pictures i'll put it all under the cut in case it gets too long.. (presently, after doing up the whole post: YES, IT DID, IT GOT QUITE LONG)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought 1:
i noticed how it went from:
Tumblr media
"We're the strongest, after all."
And:
Tumblr media
"We are the strongest."
To:
Tumblr media
"S/atoru had become the 'strongest'. "
And:
Tumblr media
"Don't worry, I'm the strongest."
just the concept of g/ojo loosing his friend, his counterpart, someone he once considered to be as strong as him. gone, now he's alone at the top, alone as the "strongest". g/ojo might be all smiles and silly but i think deep down he's lonely and he longs for the relationship he had with g/eto
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought 2:
Also more on words. The opening of j/jk season 2:
my thoughts are in brackets
(i'll take apart certain lyrics i wna use here. i got the translated version from G/oogle)
Verse 1:
"These days will fade away
Even though I’ve come to know the scent of you being different from mine"
(like yes, they were different, but they grew together)
"Any prayer, any word
Could bring us closer, but they couldn’t reach you"
"Just like a silent love
In the summery colors along my cheeks,"
End of chorus:
"The words to curse you have been stuck in the back of my throat 'We’ll meet again, right?' in an unvoiced voice"
(this part especially, reminds me of j/jk 0 where s/uguru laughs and says that s/atoru should've at least cursed him in his final moments.)
Verse 2:
"A time to reminisce, a portrait of us who were nobody yet
No matter what, we could have shared it"
(how they used to be just students, and that they were supposed to grow strong together, how they were supposed to share that power together at the top)
"Little by little, since that day
The curse of me being different from you is growing bigger"
(this shows the distance between them started to grow, where s/atoru became the strongest and left s/uguru behind. also i love how its described as a 'curse' that they are different. it's such a spot-on word choice)
"The sorrow behind your smile
I failed to notice it, with all my regret"
(s/atoru's regret that he never noticed his friend's pain)
"To you, a flower that blooms but falls without bearing fruit
I say goodbye"
(the flower here probably referenced to s/uguru and how he unfortunately went down the path of evil) AGEHGSDG IT'S SO SAD OMG
The ending part:
"Like star grains in an infinitely expanding galaxy
Spilling through the gaps between my fingers"
(like how s/atoru is the strongest yet everything slips from his fingers. r/iko's life, his childhood with s/uguru)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought 2.1:
Now i have a few things to say about the ending song as well.
Verse 1, opening line:
"Before my good will breaks down
I should have told you everything"
(i rly feel like if s/uguru confided in s/atoru for company it could have been different. or if s/atoru was there when y/uki talked to s/uguru)
Chorus:
"Nothing to look for, swaying love
Concealing it and living on"
"I couldn’t go anywhere today
Sleeping, sleeping, to the brand-new morning
Loneliness under crying"
(remembering when s/uguru said his life was a cycle of "exorcise" and "absorb", it's like everyday is repeated.) also his loneliness now that s/atoru is all the way on top
"I have no use for yesterday
So the moon is dark, twisting light
Where shall I go tomorrow"
Verse 2:
"Wishing but unable to change my feelings
Just the form falls apart"
"Counting the days from the loneliness
I was drowning in one tear"
(s/uguru struggling in his despair and having no one by his side)
"If it’s worthless then just destroy it
I’ll live freely in my song"
"This is the only place
I want to touch you here
It can be a silly story"
-
i really think the opening and ending suit this arc really well. its almost as if the opening was s/atoru's POV and the ending was s/uguru's POV
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought 3:
How s/uguru used to be s/atoru's moral compass.
-"j/ujutsu sorcerers exist to protect non-j/ujutsu sorcerers." (the basketball scene)
-"there has to be a reason to kill people, especially for j/ujutsu sorcerers." (when s/atoru asked if they should just kill everyone in the organisation)
But then he did a complete swap, cue the street scene where they yelled at each other. and by "they" i mean mostly s/atoru yelling at s/uguru, trying to understand why, why his friend chose that path.
and cue the dictatorship and the killing of someone in the organisation to establish that power over others (non-sorcerers)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought 4:
How g/ojo as a teacher is always trying to let his students have fun. After the inter-school thing and the curses attacked on day 1, he still insisted that they carry on with day 2
and he even slipped a baseball paper in the drawing box
The way i see it is that he wants the students to have fun and enjoy their youth in the way that he could not, since it was practically stolen from him
Also the fact that he wants to raise his students to be just as strong as him, maybe so he won't stand alone at the top?
G/ojo might be the strongest, but being alone at the top, he's bound to get lonely
------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all, those are most of my thought i have for s/atoru and s/uguru, i have a whole bunch more but these are those that i remember for now. their whole arc was a mass ocean of "what if"s, and it breaks my heart in so many ways to think of scenarios in which everything. was. different.
if anything else strikes i'll just do another post
arghsgdhs im sorry this is so long i just had alot to say ahhh- i'm WAYY too attached to these characters, i swear its beyond healthy levels

Againn i was the Anon from this post where i sent an ask to @snzdreams //im just retyping it here for easier reference if i ever wna write anything
-
So G/eto and G/ojo again, this time fighting over who's going to clean the storeroom
Naturally, both didn't want to do it, so G/ojo suggested a little challenge between the both of them. He takes out two identical pieces of bubblewrap (it's anyone's guess where he got those from) and explained the rules
Without physically touching the bubblewrap, the one who popped the most bubbles would get to run off free from the duty
(remember back to the time G/ojo in s1 crushed/blasted? and twisted a can in front of Y/uji to explain cursed energy)
G/eto: "Just one thing, S/atoru, obliterating the wrap doesn't count as popping all of them, all right?"
G/ojo: "Picky, but fine, I won't"
-
One blast from rach later, G/ojo won by 3 bubbles. Yes, he counted.
Of course, a quick glance at the duty list will show G/ojo as the rightful person to clean the storeroom that week, G/eto knew that (of course he did)
He also knew that he would have lost the game (of couse he did)
But sure, he'd humour G/ojo a little
-
Having been cleaned every week, it was less of the dusting and more of the arranging that needed to be done. However, a box on the very top shelf stood out to G/eto.
It was dusty, he could tell, even from where he was standing
G/ojo made sure he had the upper-hand in the little competition they had, so how was G/eto going to sit back and not get back at him?
"S/atoru-"
G/ojo: "Hm?" instant reply
G/eto smiled to himself. Despite the whole show of "I don't want anything to do with that storeroom cleaning shit, im exhausted!!" talk he was giving earlier, G/ojo was still waiting outside for him to be done, of course, instead of going back to the dorms to rest
G/eto: "There's a box i can't reach, on the top shelf"
He heard G/ojo let out an amused laugh: "Coming, coming-"
-
He watched as G/ojo reached for the box, barely even focusing on it as he talked to G/eto who was behind him
G/ojo: "You know, S/uguru- drinking more milk might h-hH'!! ..help"
G/eto silently amused: "Maybe you're right, but I'll have to rely on you for now"
He watched as a layer of dust from the shelf was pushed off the edge, falling gracefully as a layer upon the other
G/ojo: "W-hH' ah- S/uguru, wait- wwait can you hold the box real quu'hH!!"
G/eto: "Can't. I need to drink milk, remember?"
Cue the snezing, maybe S/atoru shaking when he snezes knocks additional dust off the top of the box, and Gojo is just sent into fit after fit. (he also can't cover, both hands occupied, so, so yk)
Eventually of course G/eto takes pity on his friend, reaches out and places the box onto a lower shelf (Gojo slowly brought it lower and lower with every snez anyway)
G/eto: "We should really get a stepping stool in there"
G/ojo: "And tish'hH- ..tissues"
-
So that's the end, though i had originally thought of a different ending for this little thing, in which G/eto is the one who gets set off from the dust (ofc the dusty box is on a lower shelf here)
But instead of passing it off as an annoyance, G/eto calls Gojo over while holding back a fit (note: kink!G/ojo here, probably), then G/eto locks the storeroom door, and they have a little bit of fun in there. Ends with:
G/ojo: "You know what? I'll clean the storeroom with you from now onwards, every week"
G/eto: "Someone's eager.. but I'll take that offer"

last one!! i sent this as an Anon ask here to @snzdreams, but i wanted to re-type it here again for easier reading (in case i wna write anything)
is this the final ask i sent before i created my own account? i think so.. but anyway..
---
there we go// lessons over and now im in a semi-packed train (what a good place to start typing//cue phone brightness down)
-
The moment G/eto released his bun, he felt a hand sneak to the back his head.
"S/uguru! When's the last time you went for a haircut?"
"Ah- S/atoru!"
It wasn't so much of the question, but rather G/ojo's hand, sliding in-between the strands of hair that caught G/eto off-guard.
"Sorry, I forgot you're so sensitive over there-" G/ojo teased, scraping his finger gently over G/eto's scalp down to his neck for good measure.
"But seriously, that little bit of fringe you got hanging out is nearly touching your chin."
"Is it?" G/eto reached out to feel it for himself, trying to ignore the shivers that ran down his body due to G/ojo's previous actions. He supposes it was, in fact, getting a little long.
A moment of silence passed, before G/ojo said what G/eto would easily consider one of the most affectionately obnoxious suggestions ever.
"I know! Let me cut it for you!!"
G/eto was sure his facial reaction to those words said it all. But G/ojo was apparently immune to that. Either that, or he didn't care. Probably the latter, G/eto decided.
"You're not a hairdresser."
"Well, duh- but I'm sure I'll suffice. I am good at everything I do, in case you forgot."
"..How could I ever.." Competition with G/ojo always led to multiple losses to his name, much to G/eto's annoyance.
"Or do you not trust me with your precious little bangs?" G/ojo poked at his arm with the handle of a pair of scissors. Seriously, where did he even get those so fast?
G/eto remained silent. He would rather die than admit he was a little more protective over the strands of hair covering his face than he let on.
"I'll be done with it in 2 minutes, I promise."
"..S/uguru"
"Oii S/uguru-!!"
"..I'll let you dye my hair any colour you want for a week."
G/eto shot an unamused look at G/ojo. Not only was that going to draw him more attention than he already attracted himself, he personally thought G/ojo's soft, snow white hair was perfect in every shape and form. He didn't want any hair dye to ruin that. (Like heck he was going to say that, though.)
"Fine.."
G/ojo lit up upon hearing that. "Yay, S/uguru-!! Be sure to pick a colour that reeeally brings out my eyes, alright?"
"No need for the dye, just.. get it done quickly."
-
With G/eto sitting on the couch, G/ojo kneeled in front of him. Reaching out a hand, he scooped up G/eto's bangs, wrist brushing lightly against G/eto's nose.
"Not too short."
"Yeah, yeah I know.."
G/ojo narrows his eyes, carefully moving the scissors to the bits of hair that stuck out from below his fingers. For someone so wreckless all the time, G/eto was pleasantly surprised by G/ojo's gentleness.
The problem came when G/ojo shifted to kneel himself more comfortably on the floor. Still gripping on loosely to G/eto's hair, his wrist glided back and forth, bumping against G/eto's nose several times.
"S/atoru.."
"Sorry, sorry- now hold still.."
G/ojo leaned all the way forward, face inches away from the other.
Right then, G/eto felt his breath catch for two reasons. One, G/ojo's eyes were focused solely on him, and G/eto was once again reminded how beautiful he was.
Two, and the more problematic of the reasons, G/eto felt a buzzing sensation in his nose. Though light, G/ojo was definitely breathing softly onto him. Of course, with him being so close in proximity, focused on an important task, of course G/eto would be able to feel G/ojo's breath on his face.
The earlier bumps against his nose didn't help much either. In fact, they only made his predicament worse.
G/eto furrowed his eyebrows, trying his best to curb the itch.
"I didn't know haircutting could cause so much pain for you, S/uguru-"
"..It's not thH'!! ..that"
Speaking turned out to be a mistake, evident through how G/eto's voice wavered dangerously. Feeling the itch work its way up his nose, he lightly (but frantically) tapped G/ojo's shoulder.
"S-S/atoru- I need to hH'!!-"
G/ojo got the message immediately, shutting the scissors with a snap and backing away from the other as G/eto stifled the sneeze into absolute silence.
Turning away from G/ojo as he felt another one coming. The loose, uncut strands of hair brushed over the tip of his nose, causing the sneeze to arrive prematurely. G/eto only managed to pinch it half into his fingers, resulting in it coming out all funny (and damp).
"..Sorry" G/eto was sure G/ojo could make out the flush on his face, with them still being inches away from each other. Maybe S/atoru had a point about his hair being too long after all.
Thankfully, G/ojo didn't seem to notice it (or if he did, said nothing). "Come back here, I'll help you cut away those stray strands"
Reaching for his bangs, G/eto felt G/ojo's wirst brush against his (currently extremely sensitive) nose yet again. His breath hitched as he clenched his teeth.
"S/uguru- you'll have to hold still if you want a proper cut"
Too preoccupied to respond, G/eto held as still as he could, say for the little trembles that ran down his spine whenever G/ojo breathed a little too hard upon his nose.
If circumstances had been different, G/eto would have succumbed to the itchy fit that his body was so painfully trying to draw out of him.
"S/uguru, your shaking."
And who's fault was that?!
Having G/ojo speak against him did nothing to alleviate the little blows against his nose, and the well contained hitches soon developed into desperate, audible ones.
"Sa'hH!! ..S/atoru- hhH'!! my n-nose, I need t-t'hH!! h'haH-"
"O-One second--"
G/eto cracked open a teary eye to look at G/ojo, and his face explained it all.
Shamelessly, G/ojo was staring directly at his twitching nose, cheeks flushed in a similar colour to whatever it (probably) was.
The bastard was doing this on purpose and enjoying himself.
Fine. Two can play this game.
G/eto lightly pushed G/ojo away from himself. He suspected that his haircut had been long completed, and that G/ojo had been, in fact, holding him hostage for the past few minutes.
Cue a huge hitching fest from G/eto to tease the fk out of G/ojo,
Saying things like "ahh- my nose is just so itchy" (and whatnot)
Maybe G/eto even gifts G/ojo one or two unstifled, slightly rough snezes to drive him crazy
// I would totally add more here, but this ask is long enough as it is, so its up for imagination//
-
G/eto: "..You know, I think I'll actually take you up on that offer to dye your hair
G/ojo, slightly out of breath (the reason for that is yours to decide): "Oh?"
G/eto: "I've got the perfect colour for you, even got you some matching sunglasses to go with it."
(G/ojo looked like a florescent highlighter for a week after that)
OMG THIS DRAGGED ON FOR SO LONG IM SORRY!!! this thought specifically was driving around in my head for a few days, and there's so much more ive yet to write on it (especially the ending fit G/eto has)

So i was the anon from this post.. where i sent an ask to @snzdreams// your answer to my ask made my absolutefkingday btw
Since Tumblr does weird formatting, and since i have an account now, ill be putting those same thoughts i had here too, copypasted from my askk
-
Thinking of G/eto who has a cold/allergies that's making his eyes teary and itchy (because he keeps rubbing them?). He's walking around the school with G/ojo, they're going to meet friends/classmates in the next few minutes or so
next to him, G/eto snezes
G/ojo: "damn, it must be bad if you're not even stifling them-"
G/eto, looking away: "i mean.. it's just me and you anyway, a-and you've seen worse."
Well, it was true that he has, but if G/eto hadn't reached up to rub his eyes, he would have seen the flush that formed on G/ojo's cheeks.
because it didn't last long, quickly being replaced with a mischievous grin
G/eto: "S/atoru-"
His world was suddenly tinted a darker shade as G/ojo placed his sunglasses over his eyes, covering them
G/eto: "-what are you doing?"
G/ojo, harmlessly: "You probably don't want to draw that much attention to yourself, do you?"
(if his constant stifling in front of others was any indication)
G/eto: "How considerate."
Just around that moment they left the shaded part of the school and walked into the courtyard area. Because G/ojo was never one to think far into the future, his earlier actions left him with a new problem.
A few photic snezes later, G/ojo's eyes were threatening to overflow with tears. Naturally, he wiped them away with his sleeve and sighed dramatically
G/eto, tapping on the rims of the glasses: "No need for these, you're attracting enough attention as it is all on your own"
G/ojo: "Give.. g-hH'!! give them b-'hH- back..!"
G/eto, tilting his head down to look at G/ojo the same way G/ojo always does (im always loosing my mind when he does this): "No."
And needless to say they were late to the meeting that day (they chased each other through the whole school)

Tormented By Your Love.
The one in which S/uguru G/eto is given a lovely gift from his caring boyfriend S/atoru G/ojo, that he just so happens to be desperately allergic to. Cue him trying to hold back the attack long enough to get away from G/ojo, but the other is not so keen to be ditched.
Inspired by ~this post~, so the idea’s are not all my own, but the execution is. Also shoutout/thanks to @lycheeehehe for mentioning G/eto in that post because it totally got my mind RACING with this concept. (Hope you don’t mind the tag!! And if you read, hope you enjoy it~ <3) Same for anyone else, thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy~!
Characters: G/eto, G/ojo, and a bottle of expensive cologne with a not-so-secret scent. Word Count: 2.6k
(References to playful violence, and swearing, incase you don’t like either of those! Also features mentions of J/ujutsu K/aisen world concepts such as curses/techniques, so I don’t believe it’s spoilers, but just be aware!)

“I got you a present~!” Geto looks up as Gojo floats into the room, hands behind his back, a deep smile across his cheeks. The sunglasses conceal his eyes, but Geto can say with certainty the smile reaches them. “It’s not my birthday… Did I miss an anniversary?” “Nooope~! I just felt like spoiling you!” The tone is light and musical, something Geto has grown quite used to. ‘And yet… the fondness rekindles itself every time I hear it.’ “You don’t have to do tha-” “Uh-uh, shush. I already bought it, and I want to see your face when you open it! Don’t you dare ruin this for me, Suguru!” He’s practically whining, letting his sunglasses slip down just enough to meet Geto’s eyes with his beautiful blues. Geto sighs, a smile slipping over his normally calm expression. ‘This is what I get for falling in love with The Satoru Gojo.’ “Alright, alright. Show me what you got.” “Tadaaa~!” Gojo holds out a bottle, beaming even wider than before. Geto matches the warmth with a smile of his own, letting Gojo delicately place the bottle in his hands. He examines it, finding no label or etchings on the bottle. His gaze falls back up to Gojo, who’s rocking back and forth, practically vibrating with excitement. “I- don’t understand…?” “In that case let me explain it to you!” His voice is as vibrant as his eyes, and he throws himself onto the couch next to Geto, letting his arms fall across the back of it. One leg crosses over the other, and he nearly shakes the couch as he bounces them. “This, my dear Suguru, is a special creation made by yours truly! See, I wanted a scent that’s specifically you, so that I can recognize you by a scent other than your cursed energy. However, as I said, specifically you, therefore I couldn’t use anything from the store, sooo~!” Gojo pauses, ‘For dramatic effect’ Geto reckons, letting his smile reach his eyes in the silence. Finally it seems Gojo reaches his limit, his tongue moving before his brain can even catch up. ‘That’s how he always seems to talk when he’s with me. It’s truly stunning, watching him just let go. He always has to be so careful in front of anyone else.’ “Sooo~ I made this at one of those specialty shops, that way the scent is entirely unique, and distinctly for you! This way not only can I always know your personal smell, I can also…” A blush forms across his cheeks, his words growing uncharacteristically quiet. “I can bring some with me when I need to be reminded of you. Like, a palate cleanser, I guess… just… something that’s distinctly you… that..-” He trails off, but Geto knows the ending. ‘That no one can use against me. If it’s a scent, no one has to know, so then no one will care.’ Without really meaning to, Geto finds his hand tracing down Gojo’s arm, brushing against his cheek, letting his chin rest against it. Gojo gives him a small smile, which quickly turns into a purr as Geto runs his hands through his hair, pulling him in for a kiss. He breaks it to glance back at the bottle. “Aren’t these expensive, Satoru?” “Ach, don’t worry about that. Just means you have to wear it often, I guess~!” Letting the cap tip open, Geto leans in to smell it, and has to fight to keep the smile on his face from wavering. ‘Oh shit-’. From the first whiff, he can tell this is gonna be a problem. “Can you guess what I added? Can you, can you, can yo-” “I- I think there’s some sage… M- maybe a hint of rosemary?” “Correct, and correct! But, can you guess what the secret ingredient is to make sure it’s uniquely yours?” Geto raises a hand subtly to swipe at his nose, nearly gasping at the way the reaction sparks from a simmering buzz to a full blown burning. Keeping his breathing shallow, he manages to avoid sniffling, but the burning feeling is slowly spreading down his throat. A light clearing of his throat sends it barreling up his nose, each inch of his sinuses alight with a tickle so furious he nearly chokes on it. “Pretty sure… Is- is it rose…?” “Ding ding ding! How did you manage to guess that, Suguru? When I had the workers at the shop guess, no one could get it!” The only response Geto can give is a light chuckle, the vibrations from it nearly sending tears to his eyes as his sinuses buzz angrily. He brings a finger up to rub at his nose, feeling it start to drip, just to bite his tongue hard as the feeling of the wetness rubbing against the tip brings a whole new wave of tickle. “hhiHh-!uhh… hhHUhh-!” “Hm? Sorry, didn’t catch that, did you say something?” Geto manages to catch his breath in his chest, sniffling once more to try and quell the building pressure, only to let a faint moan fall from his lips as it does nothing to relieve the itch. “N- no, didn’t say anything. It smells lovely, Satoru. Th-heHh-! Thank you.” “Oh, alright. I’m so happy you like it! Hey, I know, let’s spray it over both of us so we can both smell like it!” “Gojo wai-” The attempt is futile, Gojo already spraying the mist above their heads. All Geto can do is attempt to subtly shield his nose with his hand as he watches the allergen rain down on him. The very air seems to be tormenting him with its existence, his nose deeply aware of each particle falling around his head.  “hHIHhh-! G-god… heEHh- I can’t… hh’knnxxgt-! nnxgt’shh-!” Gojo is focused on the mist, spinning around in it and humming something about ‘getting soaked in the smell of our love’, but Geto’s too focused on his nose to pay any attention. The twitching has started with a fury, each movement sending new chills down his spine as the tickle begs to be released. “ihh’nnGT’shoo-!” “Oh, bless you!” “S- sorry just… just… heH’KNxxgt’huhh-! Excuse me, just a bit of a tickle.” “Bless you again. Ar-” “nnNGT-KNXXGT-iH’DTNGT’choo-!” “Jeez, bless you, are you alright?” Geto feels his face pale, all the colour rushing to his cheeks and nose as a pink tint starts to form. ‘I can’t tell him I’m allergic… he’ll be crushed, he bought this for us, he’s so excited. I can be strong, like him. I won’t be weak.’  “Yeah, I’m fine, just a bit dusty in here, I think. They don’t really clean these old staff rooms that well, since they’re not in use anymore.”  “Oh, why didn’t you say so? It’s a lovely spring day, we can head outside instead, don’t want you feeling miserable here, plus~ you know I love a nice spring breeze!” “Sounds g- hehHh-! good.”  They stand, Gojo playfully bowing, offering an arm to raise Geto from the couch. Geto can’t help but laugh, rolling his eyes pointedly, but accepting the arm anyways. He lets himself be dragged through the halls, using the unwatched time to raise a knuckle to his nose, scrubbing hard. ‘That just ma- haHh-! Makes it worse… the stifling isn’t helping either… this fit is gonn- hEHh-! Gonna be bad when it finally breaks free…’  Once the fresh air hits his face, Geto breathes an itchy sigh of relief. Which is quickly replaced by a watery glare aimed at, well, everything as his nose reminds him once more that this little war is far from finished. “Wow, doesn’t the sakura just look stunning, Geto? Why don’t I collect us some, we can make flower crowns! Have you heard of those? Some of the students were showing me the other day, I can make us some, here hold on-” ‘I must have upset a great many people to be cursed this badly.’ Geto silently complains, sniffling deeply as he weighs his options. Either let Gojo hear him break into a fit caused by his gift, or keep suppressing this until it kills him. ‘At this point, death sounds like a nice release. I just… need to…. sneeze…’ “Here you go~!” With that, Gojo places a sakura crown on Geto’s head, and suddenly, as if the sun had finally come out from behind the clouds, Geto sees an opportunity. Letting himself take a deep sniff, he nearly recoils at the way the tickle magnifies. ‘Okay, maybe a bit more intense then I planned on-’  “heHhH-! hAH’KNNGT’choo-! DNTT’shho-! knxxgt-ehnnxgt-mmNGT’choo-!” “Woah, bless you, are you okay?” “Y- hNGGT-! Yeah, sorry I thi- dtNNXGT-! think I’m a bit aller… alleerrgic- haHhhH-! hAH’INNGXT’shh-! aHNGT’choo-! Allergic to the sahhh-! hEH’ENNGT-! enxggt’choo-! To the sakura…” At the stunned look on Gojo’s face, Geto feels a wave of guilt wash over him. ‘It’s not actually a lie, I am a tad allergic to sakura. Even if it wasn’t for the cologne I’d be sneezing having it so close like this- granted, it wouldn’t be nearly this bad, but that’s just unnecessary details.’ “You’re allergic to sakura?! How did I never know this? Wow, Suguru, must be a bit of a masochist living in Japan when you’re allergic to sakura! How are you still alive?” Geto lets out a strained laugh, the best he can do with the tickle still spreading in his face. It’s grown from a study buzz to an all out hum, deeply unsatisfied with the stifling keeping it from releasing itself fully. “Mostly take medications, avoid the outside when I haven’t. Guess I just… forgot it today.” “Let’s go back inside then.” “You- hAH’ENNGT-! you like it outside, I can go back in alone.” “Don’t be ridiculous, of course I’ll come with you. And Christ, Suguru, take it off your fucking head!” “R- right, forgo-huHH’NGxxt-! Forgot about that.” He lets Gojo pick it off his head, nearly moaning as Gojo’s sleeve brushes his face, sending a new wave of prickles up into his eyes, allergic tears starting to form before he can stop them. “Should’ve known you’d be allergic to something like sakura. It’s so pink, and bright, and you are the king of black and darkness.”  “Hah, very funny, Satoru.”  Gojo once more offers his hand, which Geto takes, letting his other hand come up to pinch his nose as another sneeze threatens to break through, pausing only to wipe at his eyes to remove the tears before they can fall. “No seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever even seen you touch something pink. Hey! Maybe you’re not allergic to sakura, maybe you’re just allergic to the colour pink!” A laugh breaks free from Geto, his eyes crinkling as he bends slightly forward, only realizing his mistake when the feeling of his nose dripping nearly takes away his ability to walk. Had Gojo not had one arm wrapped around him, he would have fallen to his knees, the itch returning with a fury he wasn’t aware his nose could have. “heHhh-! iHhhH…. Guhh… don’t- hEHhh-!” He reaches up to rub at his nose, wincing at the way each brush of his fingers seems to hit a new ticklish spot, spreading the buzzing deeper and deeper. “hEH’KNGT’shhoo-! nnxggt’shoo-! hAH’IZSSHH’uue-!” Geto blushes as the last sneeze breaks through his stifling, raising a wrist to catch it as Gojo stumbles against the force of his body shuddering. ‘Come on, Suguru. Don’t let your control waiver, you have to stay strong.’ “Woah, bless you.” “Thank you, excuse me, that one… got away from me. nnxxgtt-! dnnzzxgt-! hAH’INNT-! ” “Seems you’re more allergic to the sakura than I’d thought… should I go get you some medication or something?” “No no, I’m alright, really. It’ll stop once we’re inside, away from the breeze.” ‘At least… I hope it will.’ His confidence wavers, his sinuses practically vibrating from the accidental release, desperate for more. ‘I should really try to get away from Gojo. I need to let this out before it gets any worse… maybe say I have to use the washroom, he wouldn’t follow me there, right..?’ Geto opens his mouth to try out his excuse, but all that he manages to get out is a faint gasp before he’s crushing his nose against his wrist once more. “heHH’KNGGT’shoo-! INNT’shh-!” “Bless you. Gonna live, Geto?” “I’m okay.” “If you say so~!” A slight groan forces its way out before Geto can stop it as he recognizes the room Gojo’s leading him back to. The scent still hangs heavily in the air, each breath seeming to scrape against his throat, bringing handfuls of allergen soaked air into his itchy lungs. “haHhhh… ca- heHhHH-!” “Oh, I had almost forgotten about this! Let’s spray it again, shall we?” There’s a tone in his voice that Geto can’t seem to place, but there’s bigger issues to attend to first. He tries to talk, to tell Gojo not to spray it, but his voice is lost in the whirlwind of ticklish breaths he’s desperately sucking in. Managing only to cast his watery gaze at Gojo, Geto suddenly notices the playful smirk the other man dawns, as he sprays the bottle right at Geto. “hEH’IZZSHH’UU-! hh’ETTZZSHH-huH’AIEZZSHH’OO-!” “Oh my~. Bless you. Whatever’s the matter~?” Geto doesn’t have to open his eyes to see the smirk painted across Gojo’s face, which is good, because he couldn’t open them if he wanted to.  “heHHh’ESSHHEEWW-! I have- have to- huHH’IZTSHEEWW-! iHH’KNNGT-! haHhh… hIHhhH-! hiH’ISHH’oo-! kezzshhh’uhh-! dttzzzshhh’oo-! hH’eSSHH’oo-!” “You should have just told me you were allergic, Suguru.” “H- how did- heH’AZZshh’oo-! huHh’aiiESHHhh’oo-!” “You’ve been fighting the urge to sneeze since you first sniffed it. You were practically vibrating with allergic need, even your cursed energy was pulsating with it. I’m a special grade jujutsu sorcerer, my love. I have the cursed technique six eyes. There’s not much you can hide from me.” Geto tries to form a reply, but all he can do is-  “hAH’AISSHHEEW-! TTZZZSHH’oo-!” “But even without all of that, I’d have known from the beginning anyways. I know you, Suguru. Every inch of your skin, every ounce of your soul, every fibre of your being. I know you.”  “I didn’t- mmMPFFZZSHH’oo-! didn’t want you to think I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to hurt you, Satoru. heH’MMTSSHH’oo-! I love it, because it was f- from- hhaHhh-! hH’AIISHH’oo-! From you… and I know how much it meant to you.”  At the statement, Gojo lets out a laugh that has him leaning against the wall, tears starting to form in his eyes, matching Geto’s, which are currently streaming. “I don’t care if you wear this specific scent. I’d rather my lover be alive, not sneezing his lungs out because he wants to ‘not hurt my feelings’. We can always go back together and find something you’re not allergic to!” “B- notagain- hH’AIIZZSHHEWW-! IZZSHHH’oo-! Scuse me. But it’s so expensive, I don’t want you spending that much on me.” The laughter returns to Gojo’s lungs, beautiful, and sucking all the breath that Geto had left with its light and airy sound. Something so pure, and full of joy. “I’m a special grade jujutsu sorcerer. I’m in unbelievably high demand. You think I couldn’t make that money back in a week easily? Money isn’t an issue, your health is all that matters, Suguru. The only thing that matters. You’re my one and only, after all.” Geto meets his eyes, the tears running down his cheeks not only from the sneezing anymore. “Satoru… I don’t know what to say-” Without a word, Gojo grabs his shirt and pulls him in for a kiss, their lips meeting with a burning passion, hunger dripping from every breath as Gojo lets his hands roam up to Geto’s hair, purring at the moan he gets when he grips it. Finally breaking away so Geto could get a breath in, Gojo lets his sunglasses dip so Geto can see him wink. “Don’t say anything. We’ve never needed words before, let’s not start now.” And with that, Geto takes his turn to pull him in for a kiss, reveling in the beauty that is his one and only, Satoru Gojo.
