G-Witch Prologue Thoughts/Analysis

Spoliers for: The G-witch Prologue and Gundam Seed/Destiny

I started Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (Whiterose in space 😉) this morning and decided to ramble about my Thought and Analysis about the episode

One of the main conflicts the writers are setting up is the risk of emerging technologies via the Gundam mobile suits that the Ochs Earth is developing

Another plot point set up in this episode is the antagonism between Earthians and Spacians (Which feels similar to the Naturals vs Coordinator plot line from Gundam Seed/Destiny)

Waiting for the other shoe to drop as far as Delling Rembran's motivations as to why he ordered the raid if the Mobile Suit Development Council was already heavily leaning toward cutting funding from Ochs Earth regarding the controversy regarding their research into prosthetics and mobile suit production

I can't believe more people haven't brought this up, but aside from the other "way too similar to be a coincidence" qualities Suletta and Miorine share with Whiterose, Suletta and Miorine have the eye color of their counterpart's partner

Suletta has blue-ish eyes (Weiss has blue)

Miorine has silver-ish eyes (Ruby has silver)

Ok but seriously, this is a common plot in Whiterose fics, I've seen "cold rich girl breaks heart of their dorky girl love interest in a misguided attempt to protect them" play out so many times, in almost the exact same way, in WR fics (@mikotyzini 's Rush comes to mind specifically)
