What tis your opinion on Fuyuhiko x Hiyoko?

This that enemies to lovers trope, the tsundere 4 tsundere, the vertically challenge duo who will not hesitate to use each other as a stepping stool lol. Well, at least until Hiyoko gets her growth spurt in which case she will absolutely mock and flaunt her new height over Fuyu. There’s just so much beef between these two (even putting aside all the crap that went down in chapter two). Like two feral alley cats fighting for the same territory. An inevitable tension building that will either result in a brawl or these two making out. Maybe both who knows. But that’s the spice that makes ‘em appealing.

Because damn, Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko are actually pretty similar. Hot tempered legacy kids, trying to meet family expectations, while feeling like they need to act tough and not show any weakness because they’ve been targeted since childhood and can’t bring themselves to trust others without expecting to be manipulated in the process. They tend to lash out/be mean to others first to assert their dominance because they feel so pitifully insecure. Yeah, these two have a lot they can relate to but sure as hell won’t be opening up to each other anytime soon until something happens that pretty much forces them to be honest.

I feel like if they’d ever be in some sort of relationship, it’d be after they both get their head out of their ass and realize “hey this person actually kinda gets me”. But I can see it happening. They’d still argue and insult each other but in the way an old married couple would:

Hiyoko: Ugly Baby Mafia Toddler (lovingly)

Fuyuhiko: Two Left Feet Gremlin (affectionate)

That’s just how they are.

Scenario: They meet Santa Claus (danganronpa 2 boys)

The character limit is 5 characters now but I’ll do 3 characters for this request ^^; I hope you still enjoy it, though!

Nagito Komaeda:

Nagito didn’t really believe in Santa Claus but if he were to see him, he wouldn’t be too surprised

You’re Santa Claus? Okay then

He sees weird stuff all the time; it’s hard to faze someone like Nagito

Eventually, he’ll ask him random questions about the South Pole and how exactly does he fly around the planet in one day because he’s skeptical and curious

He’ll also ask if he’s going to get a present or a lump of coal for Christmas

After that, he’ll bid him goodbye and good luck on whatever it is he does

Fuyuhiyo Kuzuryuu:

He’ll try to kill or arrest Santa Claus if he caught him sneaking around his house in the middle of the night

He ‘lowkey’ believes in Santa Claus and has cookies and a glass of milk ready for him in the fridge

Not that he’d admit it was for him, of course

He would try to control himself but be skeptical about this guy–if he really believes that it’s Santa Claus himself then he’ll apologize for trying to maim him

He’d try to act cool and nonchalant but he’d be really excited to see him

When Santa Claus has to leave then he’ll lowkey ask if he’s going to visit him again next year

Kazuichi Souda:

He’s one of those people who’s neutral about Santa Claus–he could exist but that doesn’t mean he’ll active start looking for him

When he meets him, he’ll ask a lot of questions so that he’s sure that he’s actually Santa Claus

At the confirmation, Kazuichi will immediately ask to see his sleigh

He needs to see it

He’ll get excited when he does and he’ll ask a million questions about it

How do you make it fly?? What is it made of??

At the end, he’ll be reluctant to say goodbye to Santa Claus and his sleigh–mostly the sleigh, though

okay so, I don't know if someone asked you before, but what you ship in danganronpa? kiibouma obviously, but do you ship something else and why?

Mmmm…I do have some, but please…don’t shoot me for the ships I’m about to say x’D

DR 1 - I ship naekusaba. I thought it was precious that Mukuro had a huge crush on him. Danganronpa IF dragged me into the ship further and I wish there were more about them.

SDR2

I really love fuyuhiyo [Fuyuhiko x Hiyoko] and Ibuki x Twogami.

Fuyuhiko and Hiyoko’s personalities complement each other well, in my opinion, since both of them refuse to cower and back down. Not to mention yakuzas are generally traditional–and that Hiyoko absolutely loves traditional Japan. I also loved their interaction in the game itself. I loved the tension between them which was caused by chapter 2. It was great. I loved that Kuzuryuu took her words into heart when she was scolding him badly.

As for Ibuki and Twogami, I love Twogami as an individual. And seeing Ibuki so pumped and happy to see him just gives me so much fluffy feelings.

In V3–I actually ship Amami with Toujou. Though my reason for this–I don’t really have a reason. I thought their personalities work well together. Amami who is a Survivor and travels a lot would be used to doing things on his own. Then we have Toujou, who’s used to doing things for other people. Amami refusing to ask Toujou to do something for him would definitely put her in a bind since she has this strong sense of responsibility. I thought it would work well.

Another ship I’m into is Kairuma [Kaito x Iruma], also because of their personalities. Iruma isn’t one who easily bends over to Momota’s “luminary of the stars” shtick, so Momota would have to deal with someone who doesn’t go along with his wishes. And with Iruma’s crude choice of words, maybe, just maybe, Momota would learn to evaluate his actions and the effects it causes.

And with Momota’s loud disposition, he could also tone down Iruma’s crude behavior with a shout. I started seeing the possibility between them in one of the earlier trials. I forgot which chapter it was. But these two are both capable of silencing the other–which means they are on equal footing. Which is something I love in a pair.

Now if we’re talking cross-games. I ship komaegi, hinaegi, and izunae.

For the first, it’s because Komaeda loves Hope. Surely that would mean he’ll like the person with Hope as a talent, right? And Naegi has a pleasant and likable personality, so I don’t think he’ll take advantage of Komaeda’s admiration.

For Hinaegi, I love the camaraderie between them. It is…good.

Izunae–I loved the dynamics between the Manufactured Hope and Hope that was painstakingly developed. It was a shame that Izuru was exposed to Enoshima first and not Naegi. I thought things would have turned out differently if he met Naegi–a boy who still smiles despite his perceived misfortune [despite his talent being Luck].
