My Fav Shoujo-Josei Manga Recommendation

Currently, I've indulged myself in Korean manhwa/webtoon, so I decided to go back and read some Japanese manga for a change. And I highly recommend checking them out since these are some of my favorites. Most of them are pretty new, and it wasn't that long before they started serializing in various shoujo/josei magazines.

im p sure were all aware that kyon-kun (1st tajima) is going to be some sort of love rival, yea?

if we were to stick to shoujo manga rules hes probably going to be a love rival or something of the sort ? his personality being RADICALLY different from tajima's is a major point in that direction, at least from my emotional, shoujo manga obsessed standpoint. he knows her really well and is often there to hear her talk abt tajima, and generally is very friendly to her compared to tajima, who is generally kinda rough around the edges and has views that are completely different from hers on romance (tho thats what intrigued her).

kyon-kun, on the other hand is interested in her romantic life and even tho he doesnt remember much abt when they were little, he still at realized the importance on it than tajima did, so he's more similar to kumamori in that sense. also, he literally called them meeting again "fate", which is def something kumamori cares abt and fantasizes about since shes such a romantic. he def fits kumamori's idea of a romantic guy that she would be attracted to.

in my opinion tho i think the "fate" might have been kumamori meeting 2nd tajima bcus the only reason she met him and now knows him so well is bcus of her kiss with kyon-kun (1st tajima? kyon-kun??? which). like he is right by saying its fate but i think its more in the fact that because of him, kumamori and tajima were able to have this relationship (due to a misunderstanding). also his personality fitting more to kumamori's "ideal guy" is irrelevant when shes already met tajima and gotten him wrapped up in her life. she likes tajima because he's so difficult, and wants him to feel the same "same way" as she does, when it comes to love.

he also realizes how much she likes tajima and honestly believes in their relationship/feelings for each other (like when kumamori was picking out her yukata/calling her tajima's gf). so if he is a "rival" (in any sense) i think hes aware that he probably has no chance of really being with her.

if he DOES like her my hypothesis (HYPOTHESIS!!!!!!!) is that he most likely that after he realized how much kumamori cherished the memory of her first kiss, and when he realized that they knew each other from when they were younger, he thought of it was potentially his fate. also, ofc he also knows her from work and they're friends.
