The Crossroad Contract
Tumblr media
Are you okay?
Yeah? What do you mean?
I don't know ... you have been distracted all night. Like you have been thinking about something. You been constantly looking at your watch. And, you keep looking around like you expecting some one to show up.
Okay, I get it, I get. I don't know ... I guess I just been stressed lately. But, it's nothing you need to worry about.
Are you sure? Because if I didn't know better it kinda feels like your trying to hide from someone. We been dating for a year now, so I know when something is wrong. Did you get into trouble?
No, it's nothing I promise. It just a lot is happening at the ... at the gym. In fact we are planning on creating some branches. I've been waiting to hear from Mark because we are expecting to meet up with some sponsors to help us expand. That's why I've been anxious. We should be having an online meeting, tonight.
What!? That's great! I know once they see how fit and hot you are, you'll have them eating out of your hand. You don't got anything to worry about.
Jason and Eric continued the rest of their date. Jason tried his best to act normal in front of his boyfriend, but inside the fear of what was coming ate at his mind.
Do you want to come inside?
No. I actually got the text from Marc. I need to rush home and get my presentation ready for the zoom meeting we are having.
Jason gave Eric a tight squeeze, as they hugged. Even though Jason was taller, bigger, and stronger than his boyfriend, he felt safe in Eric's arms. He loved this feeling. He loved everything about this past year. And, he wanted to stay in this moment for ever.
But, he knew he couldn't. It wasn't safe to be near Eric, as the night grew later. He gave Eric a kiss a turned back to get into his car. As he drove home, his strong musclar arms shook with the the growing intensity of fear.
Reaching his apartment he prepared himself for what was to come. As the time past, Jason did all he could think to do, pray.
Dear God forgive me for what I did. For give me for my sins. I need you now. I need your strength.
His isn't listening.
The room filled with an echoed laughter. Jason opened his eyes and noticed the room was even darker than before. Sitting on the couch across from him was a what looked like a man. He stretched out comfortably. He was extremely attractive, dressed in an all black suit. His eyes matched, as their were no whites. His eyes were pools of pure black. The expression on his face was one of twisted joy.
It always amuses me that people like you feel worthy of forgiveness.
The figure laughs. And Jason instantly started shaking with fear. He was sure that he head more time. Looking at the clock, 11:00 pm, he should have had an hour left
Do you need to be reminded of the 5 soul you destroyed to summon me? The poor souls you used to selfishly stir up this deal. The things you did to have the body of your dreams.
The man continued his laughing. Jason tried to speak up, but fear gagged any attempt at sound.
What cat got your tongue? Don't you remember how you stabbed your father in his heart, as he slept. What about your mother? She woke up to the bloody sight. Your father bleeding out. She started screaming. How many times did you stabbed her in the neck? And your poor sister, at first she thought you enter her room to protect her, but once she saw the blood she knew the truth...
Stop!! Shut the fuck up!!! I don't want to hear it!!!
Tears started streaming down Jason's face.
Wow, someone has major balls yelling at a demon. But, your right ... what you did to your two friends was way worst...
Please shut up! If I could go back, I would have never done it. I'm sorry... Take this back ... I don't want this ...
Jason collapsed on the floor begging to the demon he summoned a year ago. His heart screamed with the pain of what he had done.
It's a little late for that, now isn't it. We made a deal. Those 5 souls for your "perfect body." It's not like I can just recreate those 5 souls for you. That body is now permanently yours for as long as you live. Live... now that's a funny word. Because it brings me to my real reason for coming here tonight. You know what I'm talking about. It's been a year buddy ... and you haven't delivered a new souls to hell. Do I need to remind you about the second clause of our agreement.
No... I know.. In order to stay alive in my new body. I must continue to kill a minimum of 1 person every year, otherwise I'll be dragged to hell.
Jason wiped away his tears feeling of defeated. In a strange way he wanted this. He felt like he deserved it. The guilt of killing his family and friends weighed on him for the entire year.
Well then do it! Take me to hell.
The demon smiled as chains emerged from him. They snaked around the room and wrapped around Jason. The strung around him and stabbed into his skin. He screamed out in pain. And, painfully his body started moving on its own.
Tears started forming in his eyes, as he feared his fate. In the corner of his room, a figure started to take shape. The closer he got the clear the figure became and the more he tried to scream. But, all that came out of his mouth were moans of panic.
Standing in front of him was a monster. The creatures body was tall with stretched limbs. It's skin was pale and was patterned with sores and cuts. It stood on bended knees. It fingers were long and curled, in disfigurement. It's nails black and sharp, resembling claws. The face was long and sunken in at the empty eye sockets. The skin hung loose on the bone. Holes done by picking reveled deep layers underneath the skin. It lips were cracked and torn.
The demon laughed.
Do you still wish to go to hell?
Jason was able to regain his movement and feel to the floor. From the corner of his eyes Jason could see the creature lung down towards him. Expecting to be ripped apart by the creature he closed his eyes. But, seconds past and nothing happened. Slowly he open his eyes and looked up. The creature was also looking up. The Demon started to do a soft chuckle.
Jason slowly picked himself up, not sure what was going on. The creature did the same. The Demon's chuckles got louder. Jason started slowly walking backwards away from the creature. The creature did the same creating more space between then. The demon was laughing hysterically now.
How do you not see it it? Are you really that blind to the situation?
The words rang through Jason's mind. His faced turned to shock. And in a twisted way the creature face also turned to one of shock. As Jason looked at the empty sockets of the creature, his brain works 1 billion times per second. He was looking at himself. He looked down at his body and still saw the ripped muscular body of his dreams. But, looking back at the creature he could see it was also him twisted, stretch, tortured, and mutilated.
What the hell is going on? What did you do to me?
I didn't do anything. I'm just merely showing you your true reflection. Yes on the outside and to the world, you look like a beefcake. But, once you leave that vessel. Once you die, this is your truth. Your true form, this is how you really look.
Jason stood in shock. He lifted his hands to his face. Touching his features and the creature did the same.
This can't be.
What!? You sold your soul Jason. You couldn't think your soul would still look pure and beautiful. God has disowned you and cursed your appearance to match. You are scared of becoming a monster. But, you already are one. Let yourself be one.
Jason fell to the floor, sobbing, The adrenaline from the fear starting to wear off. He was tired and defeated.
So what now!? Your going take away my body and torture me for all eternity, while looking like some type of monster!
Well that's up to you, Jason. You signed the contract. You know the consequences. Either take a life and live in this extremely attractive vessel for another year, or lose everything and be tortured until that mind of yours becomes just as twisted as your soul. Either way you become one of Lucifier's pets. But, doing it the easy way, at least you continue to look hot and have some sense of yourself still intact.
But, this body won't last for ever. Eventually it's going to die... so. I'd have nothing eventually.
Jason!! What don't you understand! Your a demon now. You are basically employed by the devil. Once that body becomes obsolete, and you are in good graces with Lucifer, you will receive a new body, in order to complete the work Lucifer ask of you.
So if I make the devil happy ... I can live the life I always wanted... and more.
Now, someone's getting it. Let the monster within, be unleashed. Let your dark desires free. You've killed once and you can do it again. Deep down you know you crave it. But you better work fast. By the looks of the clock ... you only have 30 minutes left.
Why are you telling me all this.
Your my recruit... if you do a good job... it also make me look good. And, I'm looking for a promotion.
The demon winks and with a flash he vanished. Jason looked around the room and catches a glimpse of his reflection. For a split second, he saw the demonic reflection of his soul. And, in that moment everything clicked. He had to stop pretending. He had to let loose and be himself. Be the monster. He knew what he had to do. He couldn't let everything he worked for slip away from his grasp. The souls of his family and friends would just be wasted. He might be a monster but he didn't have to look like one. He still deserved happiness, right? He deserved power. He wanted more power.
Now, that he knew what was at stake he started to really think to himself.. if this body was just given to him for signing a contract, then what else would he be able to achieve if he continued to make Lucifer happy.
He went to his kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife he had and slid it inside the back of his pants.
He pulled out his phone and started texting.
Hey babe, the meeting ended and it went really well. There was no reason to be anxious, in the first place. You were right. I thought I'd come back to your place. So, we could celebrate and I can release this tension I been holding in all day. I'll be there in 5 minutes. I'm dying to stick it in you 😉
Wow, the meeting must have gone great! You're not usually this flirty and direct. But, I like it. It's turning me on. Hurry, I'll be here waiting.
Jason looked up from his phone and smiled as he walked to his boyfriends apartment, a few minutes down the street. The thoughts of ramming his knife, into his lover, turned him on.

They meet again on a rooftop after ten years. They're different now, and things are not the same. It's all too late. Chapter 1 sneakpeek
“Don’t jump.”
Sighing exasperatedly, Tim puts down his cigarette-clutching fingers and drags his eyes to the source of the voice. His gelled-back hair loses its hold and a strand of ear-length bangs falls to his vision.
Sadly, without seeing him and just from the voice, Tim knows exactly who this person is. One of the Bat franchise, and it just had to be the Red Hood variation, fucking great. Out of all time, it has to be tonight. The world is playing a joke on him.
Tim is sitting hunched on the rooftop’s edge, wishing he’d have some peace and quiet for once, and of course one of these pestering bats just has to bug him at the worst time. Yet, it’s actually pretty rare for Red Hood to patrol Gotham lately, and Tim curses up a storm in his mind. Out of all the days, it just has to be fucking tonight.
No, Tim is not having it.
“This man has too much to do tomorrow to jump.” Tim looks away, getting a light from his suit.
One hand lighting another one of his death stick, and the other unbuttoning his suit and loosens his tie. After a puff and two, Tim drags in and keeps the smoke in, letting his nerves uncoil. Seems like it doesn’t work that well when the big bad shadow of a vigilante doesn’t move from the corner of his eyes.
“I’m not jumping, go away, I can’t deal with you tonight,” Tim says as he sighs the smoke away to the red polluted sky, thinking the man must be deaf or just not convinced. Maybe the latter, the bats are famous for their tact after all. People say they’re purely human. Seeing Red hood’s physique, maybe this one becomes meta-human at some point.
Tim looks the other way so the vigilante is completely out of his vision, to make a point that he’s not having this conversation. He looks to the city, engulfed by the red sky. It’s bright since this building is at the heart of the city, where the higher caste of Gothamites live and prosper. You can see the border around the bright side of the city where the lights stop dead and darkness begins. The poor side of the city. The gap is ghastly, it’s what makes Gotham what it is.
Tim is not surprised but highly disappointed when he hears shuffling instead, and when he looks at where the tall brick wall of a man, he already sits down next to him. Red Hood keeps a respectable distance though, at least he has that much of a tact.
Red Hood hooks his fingers inside his helmet, does some finger shimmy, and the red shiny mask helmet is off. His face is still covered by a domino mask, his hair looks damp, and his gloved hands rake his jet black hair back. Curls bounce to his forehead, sighing a fog, the only indication that the weather is reaching the end of the year. In turn, Tim felt his cleanly shaved nape chilled.
From inside the leather jacket, the vigilante digs to look for something, and that’s when Tim realized he’s been looking at the cuts on Red Hood’s exposed forearms from the folded sleeves. Very thick and muscled forearms. This guy either lifts all day or a meta-human, not that Tim cares anymore.
“Got a light?” Red says, plush lips smirking.
Tim sighs, guess he has company today. He digs into his suit and throws him his lighter. The masked man inspects it and Tim rolls his eyes. The lighter is a metal one that you flip, and on it engraved ‘From my heart with love, that this one lasts longer, Tam.’
“A sweetheart of yours?” Says the man, the second sentence he speaks, and Tim doesn’t recognize the voice. Deep, gravely, the typical voice of someone that smokes.
Red Hood extends his hand to give back the lighter to Tim instead of throwing it, must’ve thought it’s special.
“Kind of,” Tim says, receiving the lighter.
Red Hood drags in, keeps the smoke in, “Why kind of?” and sighs.
“Never established the relationship.”
“Commitment issues?”
Tim quirks an eyebrow at the man, sitting just as hunched as him. There’s a pillar beside Tim, and he lays his back there, thinking whether or not he should engage in this conversation. Eh, why not right? It’s not like it’s confidential information, and Tim is just so tired of caring about social politics.
“I was too late,” Tim says. It’s not as painful to say now, but lately, Tim has been numb. He’s been numb for years. Tim’s gay, or so he thought. When he began to really love her, she’s gone from him.
“Girl got another guy?” Red Hood teases.
“Girl got dead,” Tim deadpans. The smile dropped from the vigilante’s mouth, and if only he can see his eyes, panic would look funny on the all-powerful Bat. But, no, Tim can see his tell by the tapping hands.
“Ah fuck, sorry.”
Tim chuckles at the spectacle of an awkward vigilante. Maybe this night won’t be so bad after all.
“Relax, I’m not too sad about it now, it was years ago.”
It’s hard to predict Red’s expression with that domino mask that takes his cheekbones and half his forehead, but Tim’s pretty sure the twist on that mouth means his opinion of Tim isn’t good. Well, not that Tim cares.
“How did she die?”
“Wrong place, wrong time,” Tim put the filter on his lips and drags in as deep as he can. Too deep, and Tim coughs hard, once and twice that his vision blurs. Her face comes to vision, the morbidity of her expression tips Tim’s nerves off balance. Tim quickly takes another deep drag, “She was in the Joker’s way.”
At the name, Red Hood snaps his face at Tim. Slowly, languidly, Tim looks back. The vigilante clenched jaw and balled fists look like he’s about to kill somebody. Tim knows that a few years ago Red Hood kidnapped Joker, didn’t kill him, and just vanished before popping up again to have a vendetta against Batman. What a load of drama those bunch.
This also means that Tim knows exactly who this person is. Suddenly the voice registers, the familiar jaw, the soft fucking tone.
He blames it on the nicotine that his heart is calmer than he’d like, his mind still not on overdrive, still plagued with Tam’s face as she died in front of him. He’d breathe smoke instead of oxygen if he could. God he wished he’d breathe smoke from now on. Why does it have to be today? One grace from the universe is that Tim -for some reason- feels amused instead of dread.
“You look like you’re about to kill somebody, Red,” Tim says, can’t help the ease and sass in his voice. Tim lays back hunched, crosses his legs. “I thought you let go of your vendetta against the Joker.”
“Where do you hear that bullshit?” Redhood snaps and Tim can’t help but let go another chuckle.
“People talk, words get around,” Tim says.
“Then they’re far off the truth,” Red hisses before dragging in his cig.
“Yet the Joker still roams.”
“Ain’t my call.”
“Is it the big bat daddy calls?”
Red Hood splutters at the name and Tim smirks evilly at the reaction. “Ew, don’t call him that!”
“I can call that higher-than-thou furry hero wannabe anything I want,” Tim spits bitterly, looking out to the city. Sometimes when he’s really lucky, he’ll catch one of the bats twirling in the sky, and now one of ‘em is sitting beside him, but sadly it’s not the most shocking knowledge he has today. “One of these days it’s going to be my turn.”
“What?”
“Dying in the collision of mad men’s evil master plan you refuse to get rid of.”
“Ck, I don’t like what you’re insinuating.”
“Sorry then, I don’t mean to insinuate anything. This is me telling you loud and clear that you’re all cowards for not killing these maniacs that kill us like ants when you have the power to stop them.” Tim’s voice is even and chill, it did not raise a tone, but it reduces the bulk of a man beside him to still. “Some of us rooted for you when you caught the Joker, and your reputation gives us high hopes that it’ll be the last of him. Then he showed up again.” Tim feels the lighter in his pocket burn, “Then Tam died.”
Tim pumps his lung full of smokes, keeping it in there so that the clawing gloom will die before it takes roots.
“I almost did kill him, Batman stopped me,” the gravel voice says lowly.
Tim feels himself stiffens, now that’s something he doesn’t know. His eyes scan the hunched vigilante, trying to find any sign of a lie, there’s none.
“Shit,” Tim curses, sighing up smoke and quickly takes a deep drag in. “Fuck Batman.”
For the first time, Tim hears Red chuckle, “Yeah, fuck him.”
“Still your family though, right?” Tim says, earning what he thinks is a glare, who would fucking know with that mask. “Why else would you stay in his line?”
Red Hood looks away, not answering.
“Guess I understand. Proving something to someone.”
Red scoffs, “Would you?”
“You know who I am.”
“Yeah, not your story.”
Tim scoffs at the obvious lie, “Look it up. I have better things to do than telling you my backstory that’s a google search away.”
Tim Drake. Son of the CEOs of Drake Industries. Running smoothly since ever he becomes the COO. Yada yada, young and successful, yada yada, has the reputation to chew out the reporters and a resting bitch face, all that shit. Tim doesn’t have the best bedside manners, but when it comes to business, Tim gets things done, and his business partners know to swallow their pride for a potential too stupid to missed just because Tim has fangs.
“I dunno, you’re pretty mysterious in the eye of the media,” Red says.
“Because they’re nosy pricks and not worth my time when they’re asking me about rumors of my flings.”
“They’re not true?”
“What the fuck are you? Does TMZ sent you?”
“Good point, never mind.”
They let the quiet settle in, and Tim isn’t too bothered by the company so much. The red amber eats to his filter. Tim puts out the light and puts the bud back inside the pack while he gets another one. He looks down at his light, which reminded him of Tam. Damn, she was such a good assistant, she’s also his best friend but a damn better assistant. Tim doesn’t let himself think about it.
He lights another, and puffs.
“Shouldn’t you be patroling?” Tim says before he can stop himself.
“Nah, not here to patrol, just some errands.”
“Don’t mind me. I’m not jumping.”
“No, I know that,” Red says, tone softer that Tim narrows his eyes at him.
“Lonely?” Tim teases, putting the filter in his lips while locking eyes to the pair of white lenses.
Red shrugs, “Just wanna kill time with someone that doesn’t wear one of these,” he says, tapping to his domino mask.
Tim hums imagining himself with his family, “Yeah, me too, I’d take a vigilante franchise over family dinner anytime.”
“Aww,” Red surprisingly coos, making Tim flustered.
“Don’t get it twisted, my family sets a pretty low bar for good company.”
“I can say the same, Timmy.”
Tim flinches, “I didn’t say you can call me Timmy.”
“What about friends then?” Red follows up, ignoring him.
“Joker killed my only best friend. Oh god, stop making that face, everyone I know got someone they know killed by the Joker, or Bane, or.... shit just those freaks.”
“Doesn’t make me feel better.”
“I don’t care what you feel.”
“I’m wounded,” Red says in that joking ‘boo-hoo’ voice but it was the last thing to snap Tim’s patience completely. He hates this casual conversation as if nothing happened.
“I’m not jumping, and I know you’re not here just to talk to some random civilian. You know who I am, so say what you wanna say and go,” Tim inhales deeply after the low-toned rant, only to be met with another silence.
They stay quiet for a few whiles again. Smoking the tension away. After Tim’s cig burns halfway, his nerves calmed down. Then he realizes that Red is looking at him. Staring.
“What?” Tim says, sighing smoke.
“Would you kill Joker if you could?”
“In a heartbeat.”
“Killing someone isn’t as easy as it sounds, especially if you did it before.”
“You underestimate my anger then.”
Red Hood goes still for what Tim is insinuating. His phone vibrates in his pocket. Tim gets it and his new assistant reminds him of a flight in an hour and he needs to be ready in half. Tim puts out his cig and pockets it.
As he stands up, he looks down at Red Hood, really looks at him. It reminded Tim of the time has passed. It’s been so long.
“Nothing to say?” Tim asks, he has an underlying tone of ‘last chance.’
“Thanks for the light.”
Tim clenches his jaw and breaths slowly. What did he expect? “You caught me at a bad time but it’s good to meet you again, Jason.”
When Tim walks away, his elbow is grabbed and he’s spun to face Jason in all his bulk. Looming over him with his height.
“You know who I am?” Red says with a threat in his voice that makes Tim wants to laugh.
“Are you really that surprised? Or did you forget me when you fucking died?” Tim smiles bitterly.
Moments passed, eyes on each other, chest to chest. The last time he sees Jason, Tim was staring at these white lenses too, and Jason was still as tall as him. At this close, Tim sees tiny tears that heal pale than the rest of his tan skin, bulked up body looming over him that used to be similar to his. For anyone, Tim had two best friends, Robin and Jason Wayne-Todd, he had known the two are the same. Seems like Jason doesn’t.
Doesn’t matter now. Everything said and done. Too late.
“Say your goodbyes now,” Tim says, because why else would his childhood friend pops back again after a decade of not saying anything after he returned to life. Tim doesn’t realize it’ll hurt this bad though. Missing Tam doesn’t hurt this bad.
Perhaps it was because the scar never healed right, but he still thinks of Jason like a big chunk of him that’s been torn away forcefully, even now.
“I’m sorry,” Jason finally says, low and guilty, as he should be, but it irks Tim to no end.
“I lost you, and when you’re back you didn’t tell me,” Tim says, his voice cracks and he curses it to hell. Red Hood’s been around for years, and Jason never came to Tim to say he’s alive.  “If you have nothing else to say, let go of me.”
“I didn’t know that you knew.”
“What?”
“I didn’t know you know I was Robin... Did you know... everyone?”
Tim rolls his eyes, “Yes.” Gloved hands still on his elbow, and white lenses not letting him go. The non-challant face he wears slips off as if oil just slicked between the mask and his skin. His heart picks up a beat. There are layers between their skin, Jason’s thick gloves and Tim’s three-piece suit, but it feels warmer. Burning.
“Damn,” Jason curses under his breath.
It’s just a little thing, but Jason’s silence following that is a nother prick to Tim’s skin.
“Is that all?” Tim dismissed, pulling his arm away, but Jason only holds tighter.
“I didn’t know, okay?” Jason pushes, “And you’re a civilian, you’re not supposed to know Jason Todd is back to the land of the living.”
“A civilian,” Tim mutters under his breath. That’s all he is to Jason? All this time. His chest hurts, Tim knows this is because of Jason’s words instead of anything else. “Get away from me.”
“I’ll see you again,” Jason says before letting go.
Before Tim can say don’t bother, the man puts on his red helmet and grapples away. For a moment Tim can see the shadow of red yellow green flying away.

Love In Frozen Places
Outlaws x Tamaranean!Reader Story
A/N: Ayeeeeee this is a story I actually like! Enjoy! -Thorne <3
She watched him kick at the rubble, cursing as he began yanking chunks of ice and concrete away. It did nothing, the buildup too much for him to clear; the other man rested his hand on his arm, tugging lightly. “Jaybird. It’s no use. There’s too much rubble for us to clear right here.” He tipped his head to the hallway. “Let’s see if there’s another way out.” Jason jerked away, spinning on him angrily.
“It’s your fault we’re in this mess Roy! I told you not to use the explosives, but what did you do?!” Jason gestured to the room. “We’re stuck in a frozen lab!” Roy flinched ever so slightly at his anger but returned his own heated words.
“Yeah and if I hadn’t used the explosives, the three of us would be dead!” He pointed to the blocked entrance. “There are armed soldiers out there!” Roy turned his finger on himself, then to Jason and her. “I’m out of arrows, you’re out of ammo, and (Y/N)’s powers have been fluctuating all day! If I hadn’t blown up the entrance, we’d be full of lead right about now! I saved our lives!” Jason scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Oh yeah, save our lives only to end up freezing us to death!” He twisted, kicking at some of the ice, muttering, “Can’t believe I’m gonna freeze to death in the middle of fucking nowhere and it’s all your fault.” Roy sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“I’m sorry Jay.” (Y/N) watched the two for a moment before moving towards them, resting a hand on Jason’s back; her voice was calm as she said,
“It will do us no good to fight amongst each other.” She cast her gaze between the two men, catching Roy’s evergreen eyes. “We need to look for a way out and fast.” Jason turned back around, voice tight as he pointed.
“That was the only way out (Y/N). We’re trapped in here.” She paused for a moment, then said,
“Then we need to find something that will keep us warm.” Roy glanced around the room.
“I don’t think there’s gonna be much in here that will. Everything here is either frozen solid or it’s been scavenged.” He took another look around. “Might as well check anyway.” He walked off, leaving her and Jason beside one another; (Y/N) eyed Jason before moving past him to the shelves along the walls. She shifted through the remains, frowning as she realized Roy had been correct; everything in there had to have been scavenged before the lab was deserted. As she searched, a flash of silver caught her eye, and she halted, reaching for it.
“Boys…I think I found something.” Footsteps sounded behind her, and as they peered over her shoulders, she pulled it back. “I think this is one of those first aid blankets…the ones that preserve body heat.” Jason nodded, taking it from her, spreading it out.
“Looks to be in good condition.” He examined it, flipping it over. “I’m surprised seventy years in a Siberian laboratory hasn’t eaten it.” He looked up at the two. “There’s only one way to keep warm.” Roy snorted at his words as (Y/N) rolled her eyes, and they all collapsed against the wall, (Y/N) situated between the two. She grunted as they squeezed close to her, her arms digging into her sides; Roy heard her, and leaned close, murmuring,
“Can you feel the warmth (Y/N)?” She jerked her head up, glaring at him.
“I can feel something. And if you do not move your hand, I will rip it off.” His fingers twitched against her side, curling under the armor along her waist.
“But my fingers are freezing (Y/N)…and you feel like a furnace.” Before she could respond, another set of fingers curled along her skin on her other side, and a voice followed,
“Roy’s got a point (Y/N). Tamaraneans like you and Kory run hotter than us humans.” He looked at her, flashing his teal eyes. “Pretty please let us borrow your body heat so we don’t lose our fingers?” (Y/N) stared at him a moment, then heaved a sigh.
“…Fine…do as you wish…” The two chuckled, curling up against her. Roy rested his head along her shoulder, burrowing his face in her skin while Jason simply let his fingers rest along her side. After an hour, Jason had become like Roy, resting his head on her arm, and (Y/N) simply watched the blocked entrance, keeping guard. A moment passed, then Roy asked,
“Did you guys ever think that when you were kids, this is where you’d end up?” (Y/N) glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, listening as Jason shot back,
“Trapped in a frozen shithole? Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought about when I was a kid.” Roy opened his mouth to retort, but (Y/N) was quicker, quipping,
“Technically Gotham can be counted as a frozen shithole, so that is not such a far-off statement.” Roy leaned forward, a look of victory on his face as he yelled,
“HA! EAT IT!” (Y/N) chuckled as Jason gripped, and Roy looked at her. “What about you (Y/N)? Did you ever think you’d end up here?” She paused, voice soft as she asked,
“Surrounded by the ones I love most?” Her voice cut off, then she shook her head. “…No…as a child…the only thing I thought about was how good it would feel to take my revenge on those who corrupted my sister and I…” She could feel their eyes on her as she rested back along the wall. “I was filled with such hatred and rage as a child…I experienced things no child…no person should ever experience…and the only thing that kept me going was the thought that one day I would stand before them and pull their spines from their backs.” (Y/N) inhaled deeply, holding her breath for a moment, then exhaling shakily. “I never got the revenge I intended…but I received the world in the later years…” She looked between the two, smiling faintly. “So, no Roy…this is not where I thought I would end up…but there is nowhere I would rather be than here…with you both.” The looks they sent her made her cheeks warm and she cleared her throat, turning her head back to the front. “We are wasting precious energy…it is only going to get colder…stop talking and preserve it.” The two chuckled, resting their heads back along her arms.
A few hours later, the temperature had dropped considerably, and (Y/N), despite her alien physiology, could feel it seeping into her body. She knew that if it was affecting her, it was certainly affecting Jason and Roy. She took a breath, watching as her exhale became visible, and turned her head slightly, glancing at Jason; she leaned close to him, whispering, “Jason?” He inhaled, pushing up against her.
           “Hmm?”
“Are you okay?” He nodded, clenching his jaw to avoid his teeth chattering together.
“Fine…just a little chilly…” (Y/N)’s eyes turned worried as she shifted her gaze to Roy, who was no doubt freezing at this point, as he was shivering against her body.
“Roy?” He gave no response at first and she wiggled her shoulder. “Roy? Are you awake?” He let out a low groan, the arm around her waist tightening.
“…‘M fine…jus’…resting my eyes…” (Y/N) shifted her body, uncurling his arm from around her waist. He let out a whine as she took his arm away, but he went silent as she pulled his body to hers, wrapping her arm around his waist. Roy dropped his head into her neck, his breath cool against her skin. (Y/N) did the same with Jason, letting him shift the same way Roy had against her. Her arms tightened the best they could around them. Fear surged through her as she looked between them. Roy was already beginning to fall asleep, and Jason didn’t seem too far behind him; she knew how different their bodies were compared to hers…they’d be gone long before she was. The very thought sent waves of terror through her veins and she squeezed tightly.
“You both need to stay awake. Falling asleep is too dangerous.” She nudged Roy. “Roy, wake up.” He moaned, curling his arm across her stomach.
“…Lemme res’ a minute sweetheart.” The nickname made her grin despite the circumstances, but she quickly frowned.
“Roy, if you fall asleep you will die. Hypothermia is setting in. Do not fall asleep.” He nodded against her, though it seemed useless, and she turned her attention to Jason. “Jason?” He nodded, a bit more awake then Roy.
“I’m fine…I’m not at the stage yet.” Her frown seemed to deepen as she whispered,
“But you are getting close.” Jason said nothing, agreeing with her, and she closed her eyes, slamming her head back against the wall. “Why can I not use my powers?! What is going on with them?!”
“You’re fluctuating because it’s cold Doll…and that attack you took a while ago knocked you for a loop.” Jason made the same move Roy did, wrapping his arm around her waist; he dug his fingers into Roy’s sleeve, tapping at his skin. “Roy? Hey Roy? You up?” Roy twitched, cracking an eye open.
“Mmm?” Jason squeezed his wrist, voice quiet as he apologized,
“I’m sorry Roy…if I hadn’t taken this job…we wouldn’t be in this mess…” Roy chuckled, the sound forced as he shivered hard.
“‘S’not your fault…Jaybird…shot the entrance…my fault…” (Y/N) listened to the two apologize to one another. It seemed so final that that she felt her eyes watering. She shut her eyes, feeling the tears run down her cheeks, freezing against her skin; she sucked in a breath, voice shaky as she begged,
“Please don’t fall asleep Roy…Jay…please don’t leave me alone…” Their fingers twitched in response, voices soft as they assured,
“We’re not going anywhere Doll…promise…” Roy nodded.
“Mmm…what ‘ay said…” (Y/N) pulled them tighter to her, listening as their breathing became quiet. A little while later, Roy had all but stopped shivering against her, and Jason had now acted as Roy did, his words beginning to slur when she would talk to him. (Y/N) rubbed circles in Roy’s side, trying to give any warmth she could, and she kept Jason awake with any topic she could think of.
“And I began to wonder if I should have told Dick that he was eating the testicles of a prestigious beast from Tamaran.” Jason heaved a sigh, lips curling slightly.
“‘S funny Doll.” She glanced down at him, running her hand through his hair.
“Yes?” He nodded and she asked, “Would you try the prestigious delicacies of Tamaran?” Jason let out another laugh, shifting closer to her.
“…Maybe…depends on…what it is…” He shivered violently against her, sending worry up her spine as he burrowed into her neck. (Y/N)’s fingers curled around his neck, warming the back of his neck.
“Stay conscious Jason.” He weakly nodded, whispering,
“Trying to…” After a moment, (Y/N) frowned, eyes moving back to the rubble.
“I need to try and move that out.” She began to shift, heart clenching as Jason whined and Roy let out a quiet whimper. She turned, gently folding Roy and Jason together, and he cracked his eye open.
“What’re you doing?” (Y/N) tucked the blanket around them, rising from her knees.
“I need to move the rubble out of the way and signal for help.” She bent over, placing a hand on his cheek. “If you start to fall asleep, call for me, okay?” When he didn’t say anything, she tapped his cheek lightly. “Jason?” He nodded.
“Call you…got it.” She watched him for a moment, then moved to the lab entrance, picking up rubble and shoving it aside. The cold bit into her already freezing fingers, and she could barely feel each scrape and cut she got as she threw another chunk. She worked for a few minutes, barely denting the mass; she cursed, stepping back a few feet, raising an arm towards the rubble. (Y/N) tried to focus her energy to her palm, but the cold seemed to zap it all away, and nothing happened. She let out a curse in her native tongue, raising her hand again. Again, nothing happened, and she turned to them, eyes widening as she took in the sight of Jason’s head lowered, hanging limply. (Y/N) rushed to them, shaking them roughly.
“Jason! Roy!” They gave her no response and with realization setting in, (Y/N) began to hyperventilate. She shook them again. “You both promised you would not leave me! Think about me and the others! Dick and my sister! Your families!” The tears began to flow down her cheeks as she shouted helplessly. “Please do not leave me here alone!” (Y/N) pressed her forehead up against their heads, whimpering, “…I am afraid.” She jerked back, scrambling for the entrance; furiously, she heaved away the ice and rubble, screaming wildly. “SOMEONE HELP ME! PLEASE! THEY ARE DYING!” Something surged inside her at the truth in her words, and a bright blast of white light extended from her hand, slamming against the blockage. It blew the rubble away, but as she took a step towards it, her knees buckled beneath her and she hit the ground. (Y/N) couldn’t stop herself as she dropped, face resting against the frigid metal flooring; her fingers dug into the metal as she tried to will her body to move, but to no avail. She began to give up, reality affirming around her, until she heard voices coming from the hallway. Someone turned the doorway, gasping, then running to her; they slid beside her, turning her over.
“(Y/N)!” Her eyelids fluttered and she looked up into a familiar face.
“…Dick?” He shifted his gaze to the wall, then to the hallway.
“B! They’re in here! Hurry!” He looked down at her, a worried smile on his lips. “You’re gonna be okay (Y/N). We’re here to help. You’re all gonna be okay.” She nodded wordlessly, eyelids beginning to droop at his promise, his shouts drowning together as darkness called her name.
A Day Later:
Wherever she was, it was warm. She felt as if she was back in their apartment, curled up in her blankets, safe and sound. If this is heaven, she thought, don’t make me leave. She drifted for a while, then she felt fingers trace along her hand, a comforting voice following. “Sister? Are you awake? You’ve been asleep for a long time. Wake up.” Koriand’r? She thought. “(Y/N). Wake up.” The firmness of her voice shook (Y/N) from sleep, and she peeled her eyelids open, immediately closing them as the light blinded her. “Take a moment sister…wake up slowly.” (Y/N) grunted, muttering,
“I could do it without your nattering in my ear Kory.” A slap connected to her arm and she opened her eyes, staring at her grinning, but teary-eyed sister; Kory took one look and leaped towards her, wrapping her arms around her neck.
“Oh, I was so worried when Dick called me yesterday. He said you and the others were in bad shape.” (Y/N)’s eyes went wide, and she jerked away, flipping over the side of the bed to her feet. She wobbled, seeing Kory rising out of the corner of her eye. “(Y/N)? What are you doing?! You are not ready to move!” She paid Kory no mind, holding herself up along the wall.
“I need to see Jason and Roy. Now.” (Y/N) made it to the door when it swung open, revealing Dick; he jumped back in surprise, obviously not expecting her to be up and moving.
“(Y/N)?!” She reached out, collapsing onto him. His arms wound around her, holding her up. “What are you doing up? You need to rest!” (Y/N) shook her head, raising it to look him in the eyes.
“Take me to Jason and Roy…please Dick…” His gaze shifted over her to Kory, who reluctantly nodded; Dick heaved a sigh.
“…Alright…but I’m carrying you there…you’re still weak.” (Y/N) scoffed at him.
“I will not be carried like a bride on her wedding night.” Dick snorted, then bent down.
“Fine. How ‘bout a piggyback ride?” (Y/N) eyed him a moment, then climbed onto his back.
“…This is suitable.” He chuckled as he walked them down the hallways. She looked around as she rested her chin on his shoulder, arms wound around his neck. “Where are we?”
“The Watchtower.” (Y/N) blinked in surprise.
“I assumed we would be at the manor.” Dick nodded at that.
“I understand why you’d think that, but Bruce said it would be safer and faster to get you here.” Dick stopped in front of a door, leaning close so the scanner could catch his eye; the door slid open and he stepped inside. “When we found you three, you were in bad shape…we didn’t think Roy was gonna make it.” (Y/N)’s fingers clenched in his shirt, and as he felt it, he reassured, “Roy’s fine (Y/N)…he’s just needing a bit more recovery.”
           “…And Jason?” Dick snorted.
“Jaybird’s stubborn…he’s been awake for about an hour before you.” She nodded, and they stepped through another entry, and she saw Roy asleep on a bed, Jason curled in the fetal position halfway down the bed; Dick cleared his throat. “Hey Jaybird…brought you a surprise.” Jason lifted his head, eyes widening as he took in (Y/N).
“Doll!” She felt Dick lower her to the ground and she ran on uneasy legs until she collapsed on the bed next to him. They wound their arms around each other, and (Y/N) couldn’t help the tears.
“I was so worried that you were gone.” She pulled away, holding his face in her hands. “I am so glad you are alive and well.” (Y/N) let go, glancing at Roy. “Is he?” Jason nodded, taking her hands in his.
“He’s fine…he’ll need another day of rest before he can be up and about. But,” He squeezed her hands, making her look at him. “Bruce told me that you had cleared the rubble from the door.” (Y/N) nodded.
“I do not know how…but I did.” He shook his head.
“However you did it, you saved our lives. Bruce said another few minutes and we would’ve been goners.” He smiled at her, reaching up to brush the tears from her skin. “You saved our lives (Y/N).” She smiled at him, letting out a watery laugh as more tears flowed down her cheeks; Dick watched them, then caught Jason’s eye, nodding as he left the room. The door shut and (Y/N) pulled back, eyes turning to Roy; she leaned over, resting against him, watching Jason lay beside her. The two were silent, listening to Roy breathe, then she whispered,
“I think we should take a week off and do nothing.” Jason chuckled, fingers brushing along her cheek.
“I like that idea…but I swear to god if I wake up and you and Roy have crawled into bed with me, I will blow a gasket.” (Y/N) giggled, snuggling closer into the blankets.
“You act like you hate it…but you don’t…” Jason glared at her for a moment, then heaved a sigh.
“…Yeah…I don’t…” She smiled widely, and he reached over, gently poking her nose. “Take a nap (Y/N)…we’ll be here when you wake up.” Her smile dropped, the memories of the day before flashing to mind, but a squeeze to her hand brought her back, and she met firm teal eyes. “I promise.” (Y/N) swallowed thickly, then nodded, closing her eyes. Just as she was beginning to drift, she heard Jason whisper something that brought another smile to her lips. “We won’t leave you again.”

Quotes from Over the Garden Wall
The Old Grist Mill “If dreams can’t come true, then why not pretend?” “I can leave a trail of candy from my pants!” “Calm down, mister! Whatever you do here is your business. We just want to get home with all of our legs and arms attached.” “The beast haunts these woods…searching for lost souls such as yourselves.” “To help us?” “No! Not to help you.” “Sometimes I feel like I’m just like a boat, on a winding riving, twisting toward an endless black sea. Further and further, drifting away, from where I want to be, who I wan to be.” “Oh, I didn’t know that. Did you know if you soak a raisin in grape juice, it becomes a grape? It’s a Rock Fact!” “Aw beans. Where is that frog o’ mine?” *fearful* “You have beautiful eyes.” “Candy camouflage! Run run run run run run.” “Wirt, look! He spit up that turtle and now he’s my new best friend!” “Ain’t that just the way.” “I’m sorry. Maybe I can fix it? I can’t fix it.”
Hard Times at the Huskin’ Bee “Well, that settles it. I’m gonna walk up ten feet in front of you.” “Can you turn me into a tiger?” “Uh, no. I just said I’m not magical.” “It doesn’t have to be a magical tiger.” “So is it nice being a bird?” “Nope.” “So, it’s some kind of weird cult where they wear vegetables and dance around a weird thing. They seem nice enough.” “Patient is the night.” “Hey, buried treasure!” “What’d you find?” “A skeleton!” “That’s vague. What does that mean?” “I don’t have to tell you anything.”
Schooltown Follies “Greg, don’t you want to be more like your brother? Just always doing what he’s told? Just a pathetic pushover relying on others to make all his decisions?” “The world is a miserable place, Greg.” “Bluebirds have a short life span. You two are literally killing me every moment I’m forced to spend with you.” “So my theory is, hot dogs are not actually dogs. Regardless of what they teach you in school.” *mildly panicked* “Gorilla!” “Okay, I think he’s asleep. Let’s go steal his stuff.” “I guess the world really is as sweet as potatoes and molasses.”
Songs of the Dark Lantern “Oooh, banana nut duck bread.” “Let’s go to that creepy tavern and ask for directions.” “But it’s creepy.” “Curse you, lady! Curse you! You’ll die someday, and I’ll laugh! LAUGH!” “What kind of person goes out chopping trees in a thunder storm, in the middle of the night? What kind of person talks to a horse?” “Oh, you’re not the witless, simpleminded fool everyone takes you for!” “One time Wirt fell on a gorilla!” “You don’t need directions, pilgrim. You follow that compass inside your heart.” “Uh, no I think we need directions.” “Horse, I’m just gonna pretend like I can ride you, alright?” “Beatrice, meet Fred the horse.” “Nice to horse your acquaintance.”
Mad Love “You’re scamming him?” “I was thinking more of flat out stealing from him?” “Fred’s a talking horse. He can do whatever he wants.” “I wanna steal.” “The parlor? Why would anyone go to the parlor? There’s nobody in the parlor. Certainly nobody after your money.” “It’s stuck. Well, guess we have to spend some quality time together.” “HELP!” *referring to a peacock* “It’s just a…funny chicken.” “Wirt, that stuff’s not weird. Those are just - well the poetry thing is weird - but those are just character traits.” “Does this room seem different to you? It’s like French rococo style. That doesn’t seem in line with Endicott’s Georgian sensibilities.” “How? What? Who on earth am I talking to right now?” “Uncle Endicott pegged me all wrong. I’ve got no sense. No sense at all.”
Lullaby in Frogland “He’s an outcast. And he’s cold. Feel these cold feets.” “No. He’s supposed to be cold, Greg. He’s a frog.” “Come on, George. You’re a manly frog and you need some socks.” *gasp* “It’s cause the president is nude!” “Tadpoles! Your babies!” “I don’t think today’s a good day to be arrested by frogs.” ““Wirt, drum me! Drum me in the face!” “Hot dog, those frogs really love the bassoon!” “A single soul sets his voice singing, content to be slightly forlorn.” “Ya done good, Mr. President. Ya done good.”
The Ringing of the Bell “You don’t have to follow me. You can do anything you want.” “Anything? that’s a lot of power.” “Get that frog out of your pants.” “He can do what he wants.” “We’re turtle rich!” “So we came here to burgle your turts!” “The ringing of the bell commands you.” “Hey! You can run and you can hide!” “Haha! For some reason I thought that old lady was the people eater. But it was Lorna all along!” “There is only me. There is only my way. There is only the forest and there is only surrender.”
Babes in the Wood “Did you know that dinosaurs had big ears, but everyone forgot because dinosaur ears don’t have bones?” “No.” “That’s cause it’s not true. It’s a Rock Fact.” “You can do anything if you set your mind to it! That’s what the old people say.”
Into the Unknown “Is that bee named Sara?” “You okay, Wirt?” “Yeah, everything’s Jason Funderberker!” “Wha?” “That tape has poetry and clarinet on it, Greg. POETRY AND CLARINET!” “I can’t go in. I wasn’t invited to this party.” “I’ll go in!” “You weren’t invited, either.” “Oh.” “I don’t want to have anything to do with you or that frog!” “Oh, you’re awake. Here, eat some dirt.”
The Unknown “Hold your tongue or I’ll remove it from your mouth!” “Oh geez, the leaves are even growing inside of him.” “No. I was just eatin’ leaves.” “Jason Funderberker, the perfect frog name.” “That’s dumb. I’m not just gonna wander around the woods for the rest of my life.” “Are you ready to see true darkness?” “Ar-cough. Are you?” “Oh you wonderful mistake of nature.” “And so the story’s complete and everyone’s satisfied with the ending and so on and so forth and yet over the garden wall.”

Easy Scary Costumes for Women
If you are wanted to stand out and not wear the generic “Hot Girl, Bunny, Witch…” costume, consider something scary. There are a number of options for you to be the hit of the party by being the scariest person there. Here are a few of our top easy scary costumes for women.
The Exorcist – Regan
Still to this day, The Exorcist  is one of the scariest films I have ever seen. Even to this day it’s a winner, and I have seen A LOT of scary movies. You will be Regan, the main character from the movie, The Exorcist. You can frighten all your friends and maybe even win a scariest costume award.  This costume include the lace nightshirt that Regan wears throughout the entire movie. It’s complete with fake blood and vomit stains on nightshirt. You can also purchase the mask separately to complete the look.
Dreadful Nun
Instead of Regan, how about you perform the exorcisms. This nun is by far the scariest that we’ve ever encountered. If you’ve ever been a student in Catholic School, nuns probably already scare you.
This dreadful nun costume depicts Sister Mary Catherine after her possession and it will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up on end. This complete costume includes the black dress, the collar with the upside-down cross, the black and white headpiece, the comfy leggings, and a black pair of gloves. We recommend wearing a rosary, black heels, and some black contacts so you can get the complete possessed look.
Scary Voodoo Doll
Looking for a little revenge? You could try egging their house, or how about placing a curse on them? Someone with experience practicing the dark arts can set up a voodoo doll for you and all you have to do is follow the instructions. It’s the perfect paranormal revenge system for the fast-paced modern world!
Or, you can skip the trouble of finding someone to make a voodoo doll and get right to working your own mystical mojo with this Women’s Plus Size Voodoo Doll Costume. The enchanted designs and stitching on this sexy, yet scary dress add to its darkly magical style, and would be perfectly complemented by your favorite tights or fishnet stockings to make the look your own. It even comes with a smaller matching voodoo doll attached to a black wristband. If the subject of your revenge happens to be an ex-boyfriend, they are going to regret whatever they did when you show up to the party in this costume!
Abby the Haunted Doll
Want to play up those less-than-innocent looks? You’ve got options! This Abby the Haunted Doll costume looks picture perfect with the lush layers of fabric you’d expect a china doll to wear. The high-waisted bodice has a high neck that’s trimmed with ruffled lace and puffed sleeves. No one will suspect all the evil coming from your fragile little doll like self, with that innocent look.
From the broken doll makeup kit to white thigh highs and wigs that sport babydoll curls, you’ll find your characters comes to life, piece by piece, for better or worse.
Zombie Cheerleader
Be the life and/or death of the party in this cute Zombie Cheerleader costume. The costume features a black and burgundy dress with a terrifyingly tattered hemline and matching pom-poms. The front of the dress is decorated with dreadful details like blood spatters, a “DED” insignia, and a fake bloody rib poking through.
You might not be the cheeriest of cheerleaders, but no one will be able to deny you’ve got heart. Possibly even two or three of them, depending on how fast the opposing team can run away. Go! Fight! Die!
Dead Prom Queen
And the winner is… Ever since the zombie apocalypse, we’ve noticed a few things. The Zombie Prom is this week. It will be quite the event with an undead band, decrepit decorations, and decaying food. All of the most popular zombies are sure to be there.
We think you’d be a shoe-in for Prom Queen. Just put on an outfit like our Drop Dead Prom Queen Costume and you’ll eat, I mean beat the competition. Note the fancy blue sequined dress? And how it’s shredded and covered in stains? Other zombies really love that. This outfit even comes with stained gloves, a “Drop Dead Gorgeous” sash, and a tiara/knife headband! Now just don’t forget a decent pair of shambling shoes…
Best Easy Scary Halloween Costumes from the Movies
I loooove scary movies, and they have some of the scariest people in them. These characters are so well known that they can frighten people all on their own. Here are a few of our favorite easy scary Halloween costumes from the movies. (Check out our Exorcist at the beginning of the post.)
Billy from Saw
Dress as a popular bad guy from the extremely successful Saw franchise, and give people flashbacks to the original movie. You’ll look like you’ve jumped right off the big screen. Billy, the diabolical puppet is the chosen method of communication between the deranged and twisted Jigsaw, and his unlucky victims.
This freaky design is a full suit, complete with jacket, pants, bowtie, vest and shirt, as well as authentic-looking white gloves and an amazingly atrocious mask. Simply wear some black boots and you’ll have all you need for a night terrorizing the local trick or treaters.
Freddy Krueger
Are you going to a costume party located on Elm Street and you want to dress appropriately?
Yes, this Adult Freddy Krueger Shirt with Mask is the ideal solution for your eerie needs. Think about it, what better way to be as memorable as possible than as the original Master of Nightmares himself?
This striped long sleeve shirt is legendary and as instantly recognizable as you are, from the moment you enter the room. It has jagged edges at the neckline, hemline, and sleeve cuffs that match the horror of the included mask (which will transform your normal face into the burned away flesh of Freddy himself). Pick up the gloves and hat as accessories to your crime and finish off the look that will haunt the nightmares of your friends for days to come!
Miss Freddy Krueger
Are you supposed to be funny or spooky? Well, we can’t think of any good reason that you should have to choose one or the other. Horror characters are at their most terrific when they show off the surprising contradictions hidden within each of us.
This form-fitting acrylic dress with daring frayed edges and provocative slashes across the torso pairs nicely with Freddy’s iconic brown fedora and single glove with 7-inch blades strapped to every finger. It just strikes us as way cooler and more interesting. Plus, if we were looking for a way into the dreams of somebody who doesn’t have a lot of nightmares, the mix-and-match approach would seem like the way to go.
Jason Voorhees – Friday the 13th
You can’t go out on a killing spree in that outfit you’re wearing right now. It just won’t strike that spine-tingling fear into victims. Everyone knows hockey is the most frightening sport on the planet, so nothing can make your victims squirm more than a goalie mask and a shredded jacket, like Jason Voorhees. Don’t forget the hockey stick.
  Hellraiser Pinhead
Whether you’re a fan of Clive Barker’s novella, The Hellbound Heart, a fanatic of the classic Hellraiser horror films, or even an avid reader of the Hellraiser comic books, you’re sure to love these terrifying costumes.  This is your chance to become the iconic sadist with this costume and mask that features realistic-looking protruding pins so that you can terrorize all your friends as you harvest their souls.

Witch King
Plenty of people want to dress up like royalty at Halloween. this Deluxe Witch King Costume is even more appealing than most regal outfits, because becoming the Witch King takes way more time and effort than stepping into the shoes of any run-of-the-mill monarch. With a dark, festering shroud that cloaks the undead body in shadow and realistic details on the latex armor, this utterly terrifying ensemble is going to give people the heeby-jeebies.
Voodoo Dude
If you’d like to cast some spells, create a few hexes, and practice old school voodoo, there’s not going to be a better look to accomplish it in than this Adult Voodoo Dude costume.
Includes a stylish suit coat, and macabre details that only a true voodoo practitioner would show off. A molded skull mask and foam hat will keep your real identity safely hidden, and printed details and a false vest front add just the right touches.
Add a few prop accessories like a snake and a voodoo doll and no one is going to have any trouble identifying you as a master of the dark arts.
Killer in the Cornfield
If you are a survivor from the town of Erma Grove, you may think this landscape is a nightmare, but Erma Grove used to be a nice place. Then one September night after a hard day of harvesting corn, a beast came out of the bare fields. It was a scarecrow and he wasn’t very happy about the corn getting taken from him after all his hard work. He wanted revenge and every single person in Erma Grove would know before the night was out!
The costume features a long raggedy tunic that’s cinched in at the waist and wrists with bands that have been molded from plastic to look like layers of rope. The easy scary Halloween costume is topped with a long headpiece that has an unsettling face on the front. Top this costume off with the foam hat and you’ll spread delightful fright wherever you go. The large, eerie eyes are enough to make anyone shiver.
Rotten to the Core Zombie

Perhaps a person? Their imagination will run horribly wild with all the evil creatures it could be as it creeps closer to them. Creepy, right?
Scariest Clown Costumes for Halloween
Why are clowns so scary? I know for me it all started with Stephen King’s It. And the fear has never gone away. There is something extra menacing about a supposedly friendly looking happy human able to inflict so much hurt and destruction.
Black and White Killer Clown
Are you born into this world of horror and murder as the Killer Clown? Or is it something that develops over time? Wear your white and black, half polka dot, half striped polyester satin jumpsuit and show your deserving victims your horrific and injured face, a wide black and insidious smile and the bleeding red scar on your skull. It’s even framed by the a black ruffle at your neck to show off your adorable face.
Women’s Creepy Clown
The women’s Creepy Clown has a back zippered dress with a cute, flouncy skirt. The creams and grays of this costume make it look timeless. The top is wild with red poufs up the front and puffed sleeves layered over the striped sleeves, with a red satin trim waist around the dress. It’s topped with a ruffle around the neck and lace overlay on top.
Make this look unforgettable by choosing a curly clown wig from our collection, wild leggings, and classic clown makeup. You could even shake things up with a handful of black and white balloons.
Inflatable Evil Clown
We may have the answer on how to make clowns scarier: fill them with air! This giant inflatable evil clown costume will balloon your body in bizarre, unnatural directions, to turn your typical evil clown from something somewhat scary to downright mentally scarring! Go out into the night and watch as every man, woman, child, and animal runs from you in fear.
Women’s Classic Horror Clown
Have you ever sat and wondered what makes a horror clown go off the rails? Me neither! This scary clown is the women’s version of the horror filled IT clown. The bright and colorful clown costume is so far from cheery, you won’t be mistaken for a happy clown. Red pom-poms go down the front of the bright yellow dress and has billowy silky sleeves. A purple ruff around the neck is complemented with a yellow bow tie for a formally creepy look.
Top this off with a wild clown wig and a full face of greasepaint and you’ll be ready for the bright lights of the circus scene. You can even add a little extra faux blood to your costume to give your character every extra ounce of character.
Men’s Nightmare Clown
This Nightmare Clown Costume could not possibly be any more frightening. The mask is the reason we don’t sleep at night! The shirt and matching pants might have a cheerful red and white striped pattern, but the with the ragged scuff marks you can see the murderous intent to the outfit. By having easy scary Halloween costumes in your closet you will surely scare the pants off your friends with this one.
IT Pennywise Clown
I know Pennywise is from a movie and technically should be listed above, but I tried to put off looking at him for as long as possible. I also know Pennywise isn’t really a clown. It’s a mind-reading monster that becomes what you fear most before attacking you.
Modeled after the classic killer clown from Stephen King’s “It”, this one-piece clown costume has all the hallmarks of a fun-loving clown, silly, like bright colors and fluffy pom-poms. But they’ve also included creepy clown mask will have your friends’ skin crawling faster than you can say “You’ll float, too!” If you really want to creep some people out, show up to your party with a few balloons.
Women’s Black and White Killer Clown
This Killer Clown costume for women comes with an asymmetrical black and white toned dress. The footless tights have a polka dot theme on one leg and a striped theme on the other, which perfectly matches the dress. Just place the matching hat on your head and you’ll be ready to “entertain” a few victims!
If you really want to keep the audience utterly speechless, then you’re going to need a few gruesome accessories. Start with the white wig and the makeup will let you create your own unique and gruesome clown-face and nothing tells the audience that you’re a straight nightmare like a toy knife accessory. Combine those with this spicy clown costume and no one will remember why clowns and you were every considering funny in the first place.
