The Illusion of Democracy | Who Really Controls our Lives
Life is about choice. What we eat, what we read, who we elect; every day we make choices that determine how we want to live. But what if these choices are just an illusion? In an era where regulations and red tape rule every industry, where lobby groups and big business wield more influence than ever before, our daily choices have become increasingly limited. Focusing on key areas such as food, medicine, finance, and media, Freedom From Choice provides viewers with a glimpse at the myriad of ways their lives are being dictated, and tells us who stands to gain.
Director: Tim Delmastro

Ekseption
Full documentary
————————————
Ekseption was a Dutch progressive rock band that was active from 1967 to 1978. The band was known for its unique blend of classical music and rock, and was particularly influenced by the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
The original lineup of the band consisted of five members, including Rick van der Linden on keyboards and Rein van den Broek on trumpet. Over the years, the lineup changed several times, with van der Linden being the only constant member.
Ekseption's music was characterized by complex arrangements, virtuoso playing, and a wide range of musical styles. The band's early albums featured mostly classical adaptations, but later albums included more original material. Some of their most popular songs include "The 5th," "Air," and "Sabre Dance."
Ekseption was successful in Europe, and their music was particularly popular in the Netherlands and Germany. The band released a total of 15 albums during their career, with their final album, "Back to the Classics," being released in 1978. Despite disbanding in the late 1970s, Ekseption's music continues to be popular among progressive rock fans.
