The wedding reception of Asgardian Prince Thor Odinson and Dr. Jane Foster didn't go as planned last Saturday, as Avengers Tower where the party was located, fell under attack by Hydra insurgents. Sources say that Hydra agents weakened defenses a few days before in what is now being called a 'practice run,' and took advantage of the crowded guest list to sneak in and strike from the inside. Civilians and heroes alike were wounded, several seriously. Asgardian Prince and fellow heir to the throne, Loki Odinson, took a particularly nasty blow and remains in serious condition. Prior to his injury, some witnesses claim they saw the younger god lift the hammer Mjolnir -- a mysterious Asgardian artifact. (See page 3 for a more in-depth article.) Clean up efforts have already commenced at Avengers Tower, and while the mood is tense, for now the danger has passed. Still, this reporter has to wonder how long it will be until the next major attack -- and how something like this can happen in the first place. Marvel Comics has revealed Sean Galloway’s variant cover for Avengers Inc. #1, which re-imagines Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the style of a Saturday-morning cartoon. Avengers Inc. launches Sept. 13 from writer Al Ewing and artist Leonard Kirk. That said, in Marvel’s official announcement, Galloway’s “Saturday Morning” variant cover for issue #1 is solicited for Nov. 29 (it’s unclear if this is an error). At any rate, the colorful variant depicts a slew of iconic Marvel heroes: Vision, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, Falcon, Thor, and Iron Man.

He stands there with a smirk across his lips, tossing Mjolnir with a twirl to catch the hilt. To her words he chuckles and it rumbles like the thunder he commands. "Showing off?" he asks but he dismisses it with one shake of his head. "Not at all. It's more of a ... display of skill." though who is he trying to impress? The woman next to him with a similar skill set when it comes to the roll of the clouds?

Or is he simply being himself, taking joy in the battle before them? Perhaps a little bit of both but it goes unsaid. No one has asked which is why it's best kept as his own personal secret that he hides with that charming smile as he takes his stance.

"Dear Jove, " He turns to look at her, grin as big as ever. " If you're afraid you cannot compete there is no shame in that, but I wouldn't give up on yourself too easily."

Now he's simply asking for it, but he does greatly enjoy their banter and her show of skill. After all, he is impressed by not only that but her beauty as well.

And there is no shame in that.

Still, he is convinced that Asgard was better lead by Brunhilde, whilst he continued his journey throughout the realms and beyond, doing what he has always done --- seeking to protect and defend what he had once been taught how to rule. And to find a way to perhaps Asgard as a place back. ' For now, I travel between worlds, wherever help is asked for, and sometimes where it's not. And there is my place in New Asgard, when I need to stay on Earth. ' He glances up at Steve, offering a small smile. This conversation could get much sadder if he allowed it. ' And you, my friend ? Expeditions by order were bitter on the fiery woman's tongue. A ' trip ' to the newly discovered colony with which Alexandria traded goods resulted in her being used for the same purpose. Moody bio-chemist had no intention of being a part of any community, but by chance Clare landed behind the iron walls of Alexandria and instantly became a hope for a improvement and preservation of existence. The knowledge and talent to make something out of nothing gave successful results for the creation of necessary medicines. Now, as Rick ' so politely ' instructed, there was a ' lecture ' to be shared with a doctor residing with their ' neighbors '.

Ignoring most of the faces along the way with a tunnel focus on their make-shift infirmary, emerald optics settled on one familiar facial features. Sharp brain quickly dug up the file that explained the odd feeling. The hospital. When it all began. Clare recalled a tall man with ashy blond hair and the hesitation, disapproval and opposition to the way the troops handled the people. Being one of the scientists, seat in the front row was reserved for the ruby haired woman to witness the brutality unleashed on the misfortunate -- and not many showed compassion. But this man did. It was almost unbelievable to be in the same place as him, considering the infernal world around them. Apparently, the world is small no matter what disaster is gnawing upon it. From pure curiosity, Clare approached the man. " Hay Goldilocks, any chance you saw your doctor around? " Setting down the leather bag, woman glanced back to the preserved American muscle car in which she arrived. Pride and joy, that rare piece of metal was, no matter that it almost got her devoured by the biters when she was trying to obtain it. " Also, mind pointing at the unlucky bastard that is going with me on a ' hunt for ingredients 'in that god forsaken hospital, in the west? " indifferent expression while gazing at the walkers in the distance beyond the walls of security. " Pills can't be made from good intentions and prayers, and I ain't planning on playing a delivery man as well. "
