one thing about me is, i'll always always always value creativity and experimental ideas and stories and new structure-breaking narratives above established "commonly valued" creations, even if the creative idea's execution is less than ideal, even if the established story is "perfect and spotless". Like, i literally dont care, unconventional and paculiar and unexpected works of art are infinitely more valuable to me whether in subpar execution state or in perfect structure. If you did it differently and did it your way your creation will always be more important to me than any predictable and "proper" narrative made in complete and utter obedience of well reinforced explicit and implicit rules. "this is very well made in all the technicalities look at all these clean details—" catch me give a fuck. It's cliche, repetitive, it's boring, i dont care. We live in a time where obedience of known metrics seemingly ranks higher than any form of outside-the-box creativity and i'm done with it. Say something new, say something personal, say something earnest and paculiar and weird or i'm out of this theater.
#in semi continuous of the same notes; if you look up in the dictionary the definition of madness is me asking for feedback on my writing#from people who are knee deep in traditional structures and have not tried a single new imagery in their entire life#like babygirl they wont love you!!!! by definition they're looking at you from a place of dismay because you're going#against their ingrained value; you're undermining the predictable known forms they love so dearly!!!!#there's no way someone like that can offer any kind of coherent and geniune feedback on your work because –hear me out–#THEY DONT FUCKING VALUE WHAT YOU DO#like their baseline attitude is ''i couldn't care less if what you created didn't exist it's irrelevant to me'' THAT'S NOT A PERSON#WHO'S GONNA HELP YOU HONE YOUR CRAFT THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR CRAFT#''i dont like poetry but–'' ''i dont write in this style but–'' ''i dont read these kinda stuff but–'' the conversation is over.#there's no buts. by the principle of being outside the framework you do not have the level of appreciation expertise and nuance it takes#to offer valuable and applicable feedback and your take may be fun but it's irrelevant ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#also another form of the barely disguised disdain is ''your creation will only be valuable if it's executed to utter perfection'' and no.#everyday i wake up and see mediocre people#celebrating utterly bland and boring mediocre writing like it's the last day of their fucking lives.#i'll not be held to standards of ''perfect performance'' just because you dont have the balls#to say that you dont enjoy and have no appreciation for creativity and experimental efforts#''it needs to be better'' is just a polite way of saying#''i dont love this but i feel bad about it so i'll trick you and myself into thinking i'll love it if it's done faultless''#there's no stage in which an effort in creativity will be faultless to you because the fault#to you#IS the creativity and deviation from the norms.#¯\_(ツ)_/¯#anyway good morning in this house we have absolutely zero value for bland cliche stereotypical generic things 🌸✨️#on art#on writing

Ellis in the Tower
@whumptober2020 Day 20: Medieval. Don’t @ me it’s a third Ellis AU.
@lonesome--hunter, @iaminamoodymoodtoday, @wildfaewhump, @ishouldblogmore, @lektricwhump, @that-one-thespian, @raigash, @just-a-whumping-racoon-with-wifi
The country of the enemy. The throne of that country. The heir to that throne. The fiancé of that heir.
It is a neat, sweet solution to the imbalance of power. It is non-violent, but difficult to counter. They can bargain many things for the return of the young man who is about to marry into royalty. They won’t have to harm a hair on his pretty head. The country will sacrifice much for its heir’s beloved.
These are the promises Lord Engels whispers to his King. As the court’s master of intrigue and information gathering, his opinion is respected and his intentions trusted. He is loyal, and he is indispensible. The rumours that follow him were of little matter. Court tittle-tattle, the King knew.
And so, the prince-to-be is delivered from the safety of his home nation, across the border, and into Alistair’s care.
Of course, he has prepared living quarters for the captive noble. It won’t do to treat him roughly. It is a comfortable little house, with servants, good food, and a lovely walled garden. He is provided with books and paints and games, and his dignity is preserved.
The boy – for he is just a boy, really, young and pretty and scared – nevertheless manages to put up a fight. Deep in enemy territory, without money, status or sway, he bargains. He struggles. He tries, more than once, to escape the pleasant house arrest he had been offered. He nearly succeeds.
There is little else for it. The inconvenience is too much.
When Alistair first takes him there, wrists bound under his cloak and Alistair’s hands holding him in place on the horse, he looks up at the tower with moonlight gleaming in widening eyes. “Surely not,” he says, his accent elevating his vowels. “Lord Engels, you can’t seriously mean to—”
“Be quiet.”
“Lord Engels, honestly! This structure looks ancient, and it cannot be safe.”
“Quite safe, I assure you, Ellis.” Alistair often calls him by his given name, cutting away the title and family prestige he can’t access in this land. “The interior has been improved to a liveable standard. It won’t be the luxury you were offered at my home, but...perhaps we will find this less provocative.”
He practically has to carry the captive up. He is reluctant, feet dragging, body twisting, but Alistair is stronger. Silly pampered boy, interested only in books and stars.
They arrive into the single room of the tower with Ellis locked tightly in Alistair’s arms, both out of breath as Alistair muscles through the heavy wooden door. He tosses Ellis down onto the floorboards, and the boy lands with a winded gasp.
“You stay here, now,” Alistair says, throwing a bag down after him. All of the young lord’s belongings are in there, much good will they do him. “If you’re so desperate to escape, you can jump out the window.”
Ellis barely manages to get back to his feet before the tower door slams and locks.
-
The tower is in a clearing in the woods, surrounded by foliage. Some sunlight still makes it through the sole, south-facing window, and his freckles haven’t completely vanished just yet, but it isn’t enough to feel like he is getting sunshine. There’s never any breeze, either; what wind does blow, blows from the sea in the north. The rain gets in, occasionally, but that’s irrelevant really. He closes the window on rainy days and sits listening to the waves falling down around the roof, pretending they make the tide.
On nice days, he crosses his arms on the sill and rests his chin on it, letting his fine hair fly freely in the slight breezes and gazing mournfully at the horizon. He misses his home and his family, and he misses Nic. He misses grass between his toes and he misses fresh fruit from the gardens.
The food he eats here is tough and old and preserved to high heaven so that it will last between visits from Lord Engels. He eats it slowly, carefully, in case his captor forgets to return.
Lord Engels never does. On a day four weeks after the last, he appears. No matter what time of year it is, he dresses well, gives an air of composure, and brings a jar of jam that appears to be local produce. Alongside this, he brings in a month’s food, firewood and water. He stores them in the pantry for Ellis, knowing his captive is too weak to do so, and then he...lingers.
Some days he talks. He tells stories of what is happening outside of the little tower that is Ellis’s world. He tells of the war, or the ransom negotiations, or simply of the events in the capital. At other times, he tells war stories, seemingly content to listen to the sound of his own voice while Ellis sits, hands folded on his lap, on the bed, and waits for him to leave.
By the sixth visit, Ellis’s tune changes. He doesn’t want Lord Engels to leave at all. He needs the company, needs it so badly that he’ll debase himself to get it.
Lord Engels seems to know this as soon as it happens. At first he simply basks in the attention and tells his stories, but within a few months he changes his mind too, and seems dead set on learning everything Ellis can tell him about a topic. He asks strange questions about Ellis’s homeland: their diet, their rivers, their holiday traditions, even interrogating him politely about his own childhood. Ellis gives him some of the information, but claims ignorance on others, knowing certain details would be too useful in the war. If Lord Engels leaves sooner because of these silences, Ellis tells himself he doesn’t mind. He’s fine for another month of silence and himself. He’s fine without touch. The quizzing is fine, really. He doesn’t mind it, compared to the stories and the mockery.
The worst times, however, are when he plays games.
“Kneel here,” he directs, and Ellis goes down slowly, jaw set defiantly, noble and graceful as a gliding swan. “Now tell me, Ellis. What is your status?”
“My status is nothing, Lord Engels,” Ellis states very calmly, voice betraying no emotion.
“Who are you?”
“I am nobody, Lord Engels.”
“Where are you?”
“I am imprisoned, Lord Engels.”
“Who is coming for you?”
My betrothed, you pompous fool.
“Nobody, Lord Engels.”
And Engels smiles, satisfied. “That’s right. You are most well-behaved, Ellis. I should like to take you out of here.”
Ellis allows nothing to show on his expression. Any hint of desire could be used as a bargaining chip. He will allow this man no excess power over him than what he is forced to yield in his prison.
“But no, it is not possible...” Engels sighs, and then smiles. It is a premature shift, one that gives away his premeditation. “I shall bring the visitors to you,” he decides, happy as can be with his decision. “They should all be so fascinated to meet you, the consort and the captive. It has been so long since you saw anybody but me, too. It must not be good for your nerves.”
Ellis stays upright on his knees, meeting Alistair’s gaze levelly. His nerves have been oversensitive since he was a child. They won’t stop him now.
A cohort of visitors means more people will learn where he is. The more that information spreads, the more likely it gets back to one of their spies. He must endure this gathering, even if it is full of people as abhorrent as Lord Engels. The journeys will not go unnoticed by staff. Staff discuss with other staff. Word will get out, eventually, of Lord Engels’s tower. Hopefully some will tell of the red-haired princess trapped within, like the stories of old.
“That’s a good boy,” comes the praise. Ellis is too lost in thought to do anything more than smile in vague condescension at Engels’s smug face. “I’ll be sending messages to my closest friends for a meeting with you. It will be good for you to see someone other than myself.”
“Of course, Lord Engels,” he replies, polite as a frosted dowager. “You make such excellent company.”
The lord’s eyes flared white-edged for a moment. Then he lets out a breath. “Such wit, sweetheart,” he remarked, using the nickname that made Ellis’s skin crawl. “I do believe you will be grateful for me, in time.”
Only through a sickness of the head, Ellis thinks, but this time, he doesn’t say it aloud. Best not to push. This man’s ego is his greatest foe.
“I will be back,” Lord Engels says, getting up. “Enjoy the peace and quiet.”
Ellis remains where he is, neat, patient, and untouchable. For as long as he can be.

Calpheon Valkyrie Academy
Rozenelle went back to Calpheon to me one of the dearest friends of hers who is a Calpheon’s Elionian Priest, Leona. She arrived on the very next day in the afternoon. She could see lots of people were in the church.
‘A ceremony?’ She asked herself and went in. She found an empty seat by the bences and sat down while waiting for the ceremony to be done. As soon as it was done, she stood up and walked towards Leona.
“Rozenelle? Is that you?” Leona gasped, a bit surprised to see her. Rozenelle never liked visiting the church because some of the priests. She giggled and politely greet the Elionian Priest, receiving a bow from Leona.
“How are you, Leona? Sorry I have not been visiting you a lot,” Rozenelle started the conversation.
“I’m great, especially seeing you. Still a short girl, I see. How have you been, little lady? Still on adventures?” Leona said while patting her head playfully, in which receiving little whine from the cat-witch.
“As usual you see me from before-” her talks was cut short as someone was clearing his throat, rather loudly.
Lehard Motenon
Rozenelle peeked a bit behind Leona. It was the High Priest, Lehard Motenon. Most of the priests in Calpheo knows that she never liked him, even before he was the high priest. In fact, Rozenelle does not like every single of the priest in Calpheon except for Leona.
“Nice seeing you, Motenon,” she greeted coldly. The High Priest just look at her unamused but nodded his head as he acknowledge her greeting. Rozenelle went back looking at Leona. Leona noticed her facial expression changed and patted on her shoulder.
“I should get going now, then. It was nice seeing you, Leona.”
“It was nice seeing you too. I promise when I’m done, I will catch up with you, little witch,” Leona pinched her cheek a little, another whines emit from Rozenelle. She turned around and leave the church without looking back.
‘Hmm, where to go- Oh, I wonder if there’s something new in the library,’ she thought to herself and walked towards the College Library.
Calpheon College Library
She entered the library with careful steps as her heels surely do lots of click-clack sound when she walks. She moved to a corner of the library, surveying the bookcases for her reading materials. There was a student - a Valkyrie, was reading a book. Not sure what was it but it sure filled with lines of sentences. Carefully not to distract her, Rozenelle moved behind her and stayed in a corner between the student and the bookshelves.
She loves reading and writing but since she is too busy travelling and receiving task - blaming this on Calpheon Councils, she hardly have time to do so and since she was already there, she felt it is a waste if she does not use the opportunity to gain a little bit more knowledge at that time. She pulled out a book. It was about Valkyrie. She flipped few pages, doing some speed reading before closing it. She placed the book back accordingly as before she took it and browsed on another shelf.
‘Lots of new books since the last time... How many years have it been?’ SHe sighed, accidentally a bit loud that the Librarian - Annolisa Rosie shushed her. Rozenelle looked at her and bowed a little as a sorry.
Unexpected Visitor
Rozenelle moved to the other side of the bookcases and pulled out a new book - pretty sure it was about Calpheon's war with another region in the world. After a while, Rozenelle felt a familiar presence nearby. She tried to ignore it but she felt uncomfortable.
“GD, I know you’re there,” she said in whispers. GD showed himself, wlaking out from his ‘hiding’ and rubbed the back of his neck.
“How did you know it was me?” He questioned her. She giggled quietly before placing a finger on her lips.
“It’s a secret - a secret must be kept,” she answered him. She went back reading the book as he silently waiting for her. He leaned onto the bookshelf and watched her. He moved slightly, trying to disturb him - only to get a side-eyes from her as warning. He cancelled his intention as it would angered the cat-witch.
Rozenelle tried concentrating back on the book but seems like it fails - his presence a lot stronger to distract her. She closed the book and put it back on the shelves.
The Valkyries
She could tell that GD was dying of boredom while waiting for her before. She brought him outside and showed him around.
“Do you want some Valkyries practicing?”
“No-”
“Come on!” She literally pulled him towards the training are for the Valkyrie. She shook his head and chuckled at her actions. They both stand by the area and watching them practicing on one of each other. Some of them practicing with the scarecrow dummies.
“Why all of them is red headed?” GD questioned.
“it’s their tradition... That’s what I read, just now and from my friends here... They’re now instructors,” she grinned widely at GD, receiving another head shake from him.
“Follow me~ We’re going somewhere high~” She pulled him again to a secret room but not so secret, leading them to a bunch of staircases.
“Up this ladder!” She excitedly told him and climbed up the ladders first, followed by him until the arrived at the highest part of the structure. The wind blows rather stronger than the bottom part of the place.
“You can see the city from here and oh, the view during sunrise and sunset is pretty also!”
“But we’re in the broad daylight...” GD stated the obvious.
“Exactly...” She sound a little disappointed.
“Maybe we can come here again later, in future?” He suggested. She quickly nodded her head and smile widely.
“Okay! But now, let’s go down. Me first!” She jumped down without any warning.
“Rozenelle- WAIT!” GD quickly looked down from the place when she jumped, only to find her fine at the lower level of the tower - waving at him. She gave him a mini heart attack there.
“You just wait- I will pay back!” He said as he used the ladders to go down while she laughed and jumped her way down bit by bit.
White Rose and Red Rose
GD chased her to the middle of the white roses flowerbed with her still laughing at her little stun she did just now.
“Don’t even do that, again. You hear me?” GD warned.
“Yeah, yeah,” she still unable to control her laugh. It took her a few minutes until her laughter was gone. She took a deep breath as she feeling light headed for laughing too long.
:Better now?” GD asked, seeing how tired she looks from laughing.
“Better~” She grinned widely. He shook his hear and chuckled.
“Oh, anyway..I have a present for you.”
“Me too! Let’s give it together!” She replied excitedly. She took a rose from her back, was hidden by her cape while GD took a rose from his side - hidden by his little cape too.
Rozenelle shyly looked away and GD got onto his infamous pose, onto one of his knee and they both spread out their arms to present a red rose. She looked to her side where he was kneeling. Both of them laughed.
“Wow, how can we both have the same thought?” He asked nervously.
“I don’t know. You tell me,” she said as she rested her palms onto her cheeks, feeling her cheeks getting hotter.
“And... I looked like I was proposing or something-”
“Not that I care~” Rozenelle said as she ran towards her horse, leaving a dumbfounded GD there.
‘Wait... Did she just leave me here...?’ He thought to himself before screaming her name and running after her with his horse.

Help if you want jdhdhf
Here's this list of tarots major arcana bullhocky. I should note, in a fight, tarot can only use 5 cards at a time. So he's not OP lol. And he CAN run out of magic. But he's still quite strong and possibly gaster level? But Hey here's the list. It's incomplete but help if you want! I certainly need it -w-;;;;
1. The Fool
The Fool is traditionally both the first and the last card of the Major Arcana; in fact, the Major Arcana cards together comprise the Fool’s journey through life. The Fool represents new beginnings, excitement, courage, and potential.
The Fool is also full of advice that wouldn’t look out of place stenciled onto a lime-washed board and sold at a Hobby Lobby, things like “Believe in yourself and follow your heart” and “Have faith in where the universe is taking you.”
Like that one aunt, “The Fool is all about new experiences [and] personal growth.” He is also a little pouty, and appears to have been captured in the middle of saying, “It’s their loss!” The Fool has very fine bone structure.
The little white dog prancing dog at his feet is supposed to represent a “protector,” though it’s not sure from what, if anything, a nine-pound dog is qualified to protect you. “All the tools and resources he needs” for this trip are packed into a bindle the size of a bento box. He’s wearing yellow slouch boots and carrying a single white rose — it’s like using Goop to outfit an Everest ascent.
The Fool represents innocence, a kind word for stupidity. “He does not seem to mind if he does not really know what lies ahead,” which sounds like a really passive aggressive thing to write in someone’s yearbook.
Magic ability-portals
Character who represents this card- Underswap sans
2. The Magician
The Magician (whose more metal name is The Magus) is the first card of the Major Arcana. The Magician also symbolizes fresh starts and new beginnings, because 100% of people who ask for a tarot reading want a new beginning.
The Magician is driven and goal-oriented; he can “apply skill and initiative to accomplish all [his] goals.” His description reads like a performance review. He’s also wearing a snake for a belt.
The Magician card is holding a symbolic staff and making a symbolic hand gesture. He is holding symbolic tablets, wearing a symbolic robe, and standing hip-deep in symbolic flowers. Above his head floats the symbol for infinity. The Magician is like a junior high essay on The Scarlet Letter.
Magic ability- create sheilds/forcefeilds
Character who represents this card-Canvas
3. The High Priestess
The High Priestess “sits at the gate before the great Mystery” and “in front of the thin veil of awareness, which is all that separates us from our inner selves.”
If you’re the kind of person who’s into tarot, you are the kind of person who wants to draw the High Priestess card. On a “What tarot card are you?” quiz, the High Priestess is the card everyone wants to get. The High Priestess is the Elizabeth Bennet of tarot cards.
Moreover, her message is “trust your inner voice,” which is a message absolutely everyone wants to hear. No one goes to a tarot reader to be told, “Your instincts are totally wrong.” A tarot reader’s primary job is to be an enabler — in your heart you already know you’re going to quit your job to be a yoga teacher, you just want someone to tell you that teaching yoga is your destiny.
“Knowledge of how to fix [your problem] will not come through logic or intellect but through your intuition,” she says, which is a real load off for people not overly gifted with logic or intellect.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Tarot himself
4. The Empress
The card of feminine energy, the Empress represents fertility, beauty, and abundance. She may indicate either a physical or metaphorical pregnancy, which seems like something you should really nail down.
The Empress wears a bold patterned caftan she picked up in Yucca Valley. She’s sitting on a red velvet chair that looks like she found it on the sidewalk and tried to reupholster it herself. The Empress definitely uses the DivaCup.
Magic ability-Healing
Character who represents this card-Alterswap Toriel
5. The Emperor
The Emperor is the patriarch, the masculine seat of authority and power. The Emperor is paired with the Empress, even though he’s clearly at least thirty years older than she is. His expression is both scornful and wary, and he seems to suffer from mild rosacea.
The Emperor is seated on a throne “decorated with four rams’ heads, representing intellectual heights, determination, action, initiative, and leadership.” It is not at all obvious why rams’ heads should represent these things, and the last three sound like they were borrowed from Six Sigma.
Magic ability- Fire
Character who represents this card-Ferrell ( @jumpybox )
6. The Hierophant
The staid male counterpart to the much more fabulous Priestess card, the Hierophant represents institutional authority and established traditions. Like the Priestess, he is a religious figure, but in a much more orthodox setting.
No one is ever excited about getting the Hierophant, the middle school principal of tarot cards. If you were the kind of person who got excited about orthodox religious authority, you likely wouldn’t be getting your tarot read in the first place.
Moreover, the Hierophant offers good, boring advice, like “… follow due process and to stay within the conventional bounds of what is typically an orthodox approach. Instead of being innovative, you will need to adapt to the existing set of beliefs and systems that are already in place. You will need to do what is expected of you.”
But the Hierophant is not all bad. The card can also represent a wise mentor, someone like a priest, boss, or teacher. It also may represent a gateway to higher consciousness, as does without exception every other tarot card.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Aion ( @cutiegrumpycerym )
7. The Lovers
The Lovers card represents love, of course, and of the most rarified kind. The lovers share the deep emotional, physical, and spiritual connection you could expect from the kind of couple who calls themselves “lovers.” The two lovers stand among symbols of fertility and intimacy. The woman is gazing at the giant flaming angel in the sky, and the man is gazing at the woman’s pelvis.
The Lovers card also represents a crossroads, and the need to make a decision. “Unlike the Fool’s choice which has no wrong answer, the choice of the Lovers is very much right or wrong.” What’s more, “these decisions or choices are incredibly important and significant so it is essential that you choose the right path.” No pressure.
Magic ability-long distance communication with someone you care for
Character(s) who represents this card- Cross and Xchara
8. The Chariot
The Chariot represents will power, control, self-assertion, and victory. Also, in a refreshingly literal twist, the chariot can represent driving. The card is a real grab-bag of mystical symbolism, including stars, moons, alchemical symbols, and two extremely irritated sphinxes, the leftmost of which is actually rolling its eyes in disgust.
Everything the Chariot says, you can imagine being shouted through a megaphone: “this struggle will ultimately make you stronger!” “get in the race and win it!” “you have to dominate and beat the competition!” “assert yourself and be bold!” “pick up those knees!”
Magic ability-augmented speed
Character who represents this card-Mans (Spidertale Sans - @jumpybox )
9. The Hermit
The Hermit looks like a thinner, tanner Gandalf. He wears the grey cloak of invisibility. Having reached the snowy summit of his harrowing spiritual quest, he now looks sad and a little sleepy.
The Hermit represents being single and loving it. “Be content with being alone or associate only with those on your level,” the Hermit says emphatically over brunch. “Do not waste time and energy on those not ready or not worthy.” (cough, *Brian*) The Hermit is constantly posting about introverts on social media.
Magic ability-Invisibility
Character who represents this card-Chronicle ( @shigxx -I HOPE THIS IS OK AAA)
10. Strength
“The Strength Tarot card represents strength,” a popular tarot site helpfully explains, but unlike the amped-up jock jam sloganeering of the Chariot, Strength here means inner strength of character.
Strength is personified by a lovely woman wearing a long white dress wreathed in flowers giving a lion a comprehensive dental exam in what is surely a very specific fetish. “This lion is happy to submit and surrender to the woman,” who has tamed him with her strength of will and really on-point eyebrows.
Magic ability-augmented strength
Character who represents this card-Altertale sans
11. The Wheel of Fortune
The Wheel of Fortune represents life’s inherently cyclical nature. Sometimes things will go well, other times badly, but in the end, balance will be restored. The Wheel also represents karma, as well as fate and the external forces that control our destinies.
The Wheel of Fortune has absolutely everything you want in a tarot card, including an angel, a lion, a bull, a snake, a Sphinx, esoteric letters and symbols from several major world religions, and an eagle that looks like the artist started out trying to draw one thing and then changed their mind halfway through.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-
12. Justice
The Justice card represents justice, as one might expect, and more sternly, the idea that one gets what they deserve. Justice is all about taking responsibility for one’s self, and she gets a little blame-y: “your decisions and actions have long-term consequences and your present and future circumstances are most likely a result of these decisions and actions.”
Lady Justice sits on a throne, holding in one hand a double-edged sword; and in the other, a set of scales. She looks stern and unbending. “A little white shoe pops out from beneath her cloak, reminding us of the spiritual consequences of our actions,” in a note as charming as it is inexplicable.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Storyshift Chara
13. The Hanged Man
Like the Death card, the Hanged Man sounds much worse than it is. The card represents surrender: the man is described as a “willing martyr,” someone who sacrifices himself to a greater cause. The Hanged Man also represents a period of watchful waiting, and he is doing that waiting upside-down.
The Hanged Man is suspended from the World Tree, and “given the serene expression on his face, it is believed he is hanging on the tree of his own will.” (Really?) He may represent “letting go,” a thing you absolutely should not to when hanging upside-down from a tree.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card- Error/Eri/Geno
14. Death
Books that teach tarot reading advise readers to preface the revealing of the Death card with some variant of, “Now don’t freak out…” In fact, the Death card usually symbolizes a time of change, where one door closes and another opens. This can be a very positive thing, a time of renewal and new beginnings. Then again, sometimes the card symbolizes death.
Death here is a skeleton wearing a suit of armor that indicates death’s invincibility. He is riding a horse with a very small head and red eyes. A collection of disproportionately small people bow before Death’s inevitable slaughter as he regards them with a goofy grin.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Reaper (ofc)
15. Temperance
The Temperance card signifies calm, balance, tranquility, and avoiding extremes. Temperance is cautious, keeping one foot on dry land.
In her hands she holds two cups of water, one hot, and one cold, creating that mystical symbol of cosmic balance, tepid water. Supposedly, the water she is pouring is actually flowing backwards, from the lower cup to the upper one, though it’s impossible to verify that.
Magic ability-
Character that represents this card- Core frisk
16. The Devil
Unlike the Death card, which seems bad but is good, the Devil card seems bad and is bad. The Devil represents materialism, vice, and addiction. He controls our lowest, most animal desires. At his feet, a man and a woman are chained, in servitude to their baser nature. However, the chains are loose and they could slip their heads from them if they tried, indicating that their bondage is voluntary.
The Devil is more disappointed than terrifying, and his Satanic hand gesture is a dispirited wave. The chained lovers at his feet look dopey and complacent, gesturing towards the inky cave of the insatiable unconscious like it’s a showcase on The Price Is Right.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card- Fresh
17. The Tower
Following on Death and The Devil, the Tower is a very bad card. It symbolizes sudden catastrophe. After this time of chaos, new and better things may emerge, but that’s likely small consolation during your current era of unremitting disaster.
The Tower is a sturdy-looking building that probably seemed safe, but now it has been struck by lightning and it’s on fire, and the same lovers who were so dreamily enraptured on the Lovers card and so calmly drugged out when chained to the Devil are now plunging headlong to their ruin amid 22 symbolic flames. The man’s mouth is open with surprise, while the woman’s is pursed in anger, as if to say, “I warned you about the lightning.”
Magic ability- earth manipulation
Character who represents this card-
18. The Star
After the destruction of the Tower, the Star is all love and light. The card represents joy, kindness, hope, and faith — basically anything you’d want to embroider on a tea towel.
On the Star card, a naked woman is serenely pouring water from a clear, still pool onto the grass, where it runs off in five streams said to represent the senses. The woman is pretty but in an approachable way. Behind her is a field of stars and a tree in which roosts the sacred (if extremely crudely drawn) “ibis of thought.”
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Nebula
19. The Moon
One might assume the Moon would be a good card, suggesting femininity, fertility, and other mystically significant things, but in fact, the Moon is a mixed bag at best. The card represents intuition, but also subconscious fears and dark impulses. The Moon is associated with the eerie, mysterious elements of our unconscious minds, including recovered memories and nightmares.
The moon itself is upstaged by all the weird animals that are roaming around beneath it. A lobster crawls out of the depths of a dark pool, symbolizing the disturbing images that bubble up from our unconscious minds, and joins two dogs baying at the moon (some interpret these canines to be one dog and one wolf). Beyond the animals is a narrow path between two desolate towers. The moon wears the expression of someone who has just said their final word of an argument in bed and is now pretending to be asleep.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Nightmare
20. The Sun
The Sun is everything the Moon is not: open, positive, upbeat. Whereas the Star is serene and blissful, the Sun is way too chipper. The Sun played “Get Lucky” at his wedding. The Sun cheers for the kiss cam. The Sun likes to shout “I can’t hear you!” from the stage. The Sun means well, but all the other cards are embarrassed for him.
On the tarot card, the Sun itself looks a little embarrassed, pointedly averting his eyes from the spectacle below him: a naked, wreathed baby riding a white horse in front of a field of sunflowers, like the result of a dangerously escalating feud between Mary Engelbreit and Anne Geddes.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Dream
21. The Judgement
The Judgement card means judgement, not surprisingly, but also an inner voice, sudden realization, or higher calling. Judgment is about resolution, the cathartic climax to all of your struggles. The Judgment card also looks absolutely crazy.
The card shows a group of pallid, naked people rising up from their graves in a colorless, blasted landscape to the call of a trumpeting angel. The angel appears to be faking playing a trumpet, and not even faking it well. He holds the instrument stiffly while pointedly avoiding eye contact with the zombie cult members whose arms are upraised in worship of him.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Outerfell asgore
22. The World
The World is the last card of the Major Arcana, and represents the summation of the journey begun by the Fool. After all the adventures of the past twenty-one cards, the World represents accomplishment, closure, and completion.
Unfortunately, the last card of the soul’s journey is also a bit of a mess. When you hear the phrase “the world,” many images may come to mind, but one them is probably not a dancing lady wrapped in a purple shawl, holding a baton in each hand, and surrounded by a lion, a bull, an eagle, and a human figure described as a “cherub” though he looks at least 28. The lady looks a little off-balance and more than a little drunk, which is perhaps not a bad symbol for closure after all.

Today again felt like three separate days! It also was quite action packed. We started the day with another delicious breakfast of dosas and Indian parathas. I tried to eat a little lighter since I definitely over ate the day before. Bobby leaned in and his stomach is definitely feeling better since he got to India since there is little to no cross contamination. We met up with my friend Stephanie who went to college with me and her husband Patrick. They had gotten in at 2 am after their trip to only be turned away because the hotel had overbooked! They were troopers though and ate breakfast at the hotel with us. We then got ready for the Haldi ceremony! And as usual fashion, the groom's family was late (an hour to be precise).
The Haldi ceremony is when family members rub turmeric on the bride and groom. In this ceremony, they had mustard oil, yogurt, and turmeric powder and each person had two little utensils with some sort of green leafy plant tied on to them. You are supposed to dip the leaves into the oil, yogurt, and then turmeric and touch the bride and groom on their feet, knees, shoulders, cheeks, and then the top of their heads. It's meant to be a ceremony that helps the couples fertility. They even let the guests partake and it was fun smearing it on Anna and Rahul! After each person has their turn with the leaves, they mix together the rest of the ingredients into a box and mixed it into a paste. The family then proceeded to smear it on the bride and grooms' faces. After that was done, the family began to sing and guests danced around. Rahul's family were all wearing these beautiful pieces of clothing in a deep mustard yellow color. Anna wasn't sure of the customs so we didn't dress up.
After the ceremony, we took an Uber into more of the center city to a mall called Select CITYWALK. We got a chance to meet up with our friends, Ishan and Namrata, a couple who we meet up every week in Seattle for trivia. Worlds colliding! I brought Stephanie and Patrick along with us and we went to a store called FabIndia to get some traditional clothes. Bobby got a long kurta in a copper orange and I got a salwar kameez in blue with orange accents. It was fun trying on other clothes! However I started feeling a little sick that I deduced later that it some dehydration. We went Punjab Grill that everyone raved about! I wasn't able to partake, but the highlights were the grilled paneer, the grilled chicken tikka, and the black daal. We had a lovely time meeting up with Ishan and Namrata but we had to leave the mall since it was getting close to rush hour on a Monday!
At the hotel I wasn't feeling so well, but rallied for the wedding! I change into my new Indian threads, which are amazingly comfortable, and go see what's going on with the bride. What I loved about this experience is that I had a backstage pass to all of the preparation for the bride. There were about 100 people at this wedding and the bride only had 20 on her side. She asked us to be a part of her wedding procession. We were supposed to start the wedding at 7, but as we learned quickly in India nothing goes to plan and you have to roll with it. Luckily, the groom thought ahead and rented a hotel room and filled it with liquor for folks to partake in while waiting. Indians love their whisky so that was definitely in attendance.
I got to peek into the bride's area where she got ready. There was a professional woman who was the lead who had 3 assistants. Some of the first women at work that I've seen! Anna's hair looked like it took hours. She had not one, but two fake pieces of hair. One to give a platform on top of her head to attach the veil and one to make her bun more voluminous. Around her bun there fresh flowers that were quite fragrant but I'm not sure what they were (I'm guessing jasmine). Her outfit was pretty simple to get on. It was a top and skirt separate, but the skirt was super heavy at about 20 pounds and there was so much structure underneath the dress that it could stand up on its own. On top of her henna she also had bright red and gold bangles that went up half of her forearm. The original tradition is to keep them on for 13 months, but most modern brides keep them on for 13 weeks instead. But Anna and Rahul have already been married for a year, so no need to prove her devotion to him. Additionally she had on a bracelet with long dangling pieces that almost look like bells. Anna was supposed to wave these pendant things over single women's heads to ensure that they get married soon, but I didn't see her actually do that. Lastly, Anna had to put on a veil. It was a pink tulle like material, but it had to be folded in such a way and pinned. I'm not sure of the significance, but apparently it's a big deal because it took 20 minutes and the head attendant did it twice. Once ready, it was hurry up and wait! Simultaneously there was a big drum show to entertain the groom's side of the family while the bride gets ready. I didn't see any of it since I was waiting for the bride to get ready.
Finally, around 8:30, they are ready for us. We go downstairs and they bring out a canopy made out of flowers. Anna's two sisters are up front to hold the front two corners, but there are also 6 more of us holding up the sides of the canopy. We then walk out to the rest of the crowd in our little procession to Christina Perry's "1,000 Years" from the Twilight soundtrack which I get a giggle out of since I know Anna is not a huge fan of that movie. The music quickly switches to an Indian love ballad and we approach Rahul on the stage. He's wearing white and has a red turban on. Once they make it to the stage, after a flurry of pictures of course, Anna needs "some friends on stage". Of course, being the Wellesley women we are, we get on stage. They turn us away and ask for the men. It turns out that they need guys to help lift Anna into the air while Rahul is being lifted to put flower garlands on each other.
As that ceremony goes on, the DJ is already spinning beats. One of Rahul's cousins really wants to dance, and of course Bobby is the first to say yes. They jump on the dance floor, and because they look like their having so much fun, others join in. Sadly our dance party was cut short because they started the religious ceremony. There was another stage where everyone has to take off their shoes. It was a gorgeous platform, it was green and there were real flowers hanging from the ceiling next to a chandelier. Anna's and Rahul's families were on stage and the priest was reciting a mix of Hindi and Sanskrit which Anna and her father had two repeat. Anna did a pretty good job and even the aunties and uncles we were standing nearby were impressed. There is also a small fire that they stoked with ghee and Anna's family poured other things into like puffed rice. In this ceremony, Anna made 7 promises to the groom and they walked around the fire 7 times. It was very cool to see, however, strangely no one can tell us what the 7 promises are after the fact. So you'll just have to know that it was a religious ceremony. The ceremony traditionally went in for 7 days, it was shortened to 7 hours, but they did the ceremony in about one hour.
During the religious ceremony, Rahul's youngest aunt gave us a hot tip. It turns out that there's a tradition where the bride's friends steal the groom's shoes and hold them ransom until he gives them what they want. Anna's sisters proceed to steal one, and us as Anna's friends stole the other. We didn't understand the tradition very well since it was second hand knowledge, but we knew there were spies everywhere since Rahul's side outnumbered us at least 2 to 1 if not 4 to 1! We all stand in a tight circle and take out our scarves and wrap them around our hands so people don't know who had the shoe. Then, we walked to different corners of the wedding area to hide it! The time finally comes around where the negotiating began. Anna's sisters cave quickly to $50 each. The Wellesley women drove a harder bargain. We weren't happy with just money, we wanted more. After fierce negotiations, we landed on a pretty good deal. First, Rahul will treat us to a nice thanksgiving dinner on Thursday in Goa. Secondly, he will visit each of Anna's friends in their cities within the next year (Seattle, LA, Philadelphia, and NYC). And lastly, as a kickback to our informant, we said that Rahul had to take his aunt to a nice spa day.
After the main ceremony, dancing resumed and we ate a hearty dinner of Indian food. But by this time it was 10 pm on a Monday and the wedding was dying down. The day was an incredible experience that I don't think I'll have one of again. I was so happy that we made the long trip halfway around the world to see one of my dear friends Anna get married.

The Same Moonlight 1/?
Title: The Same Moonlight Fandom: SWTOR Rating: T Genre: Romance & Drama Summary: Cakara’s life has been a combination of bad luck and bad choices. She’s on her second fresh start, but maybe this one isn’t as fresh as she thought it would be. Notes:
I’ve made a lot of personal headcanons for echani because there is so little in canon. So don’t try to look stuff up.
Mandalorians in this time are officially allied with the Empire and, according to the Empire, this makes it illegal for them to have Force users in their ranks. They see it as a capital offense and will punish it as such regardless of the fact that Mandalorians are their own state and not actually subject to Imperial Law.
Mandalorians by tradition also don’t allow Forcers in their ranks regardless because of something terrible that happened in the past.
yaim = clan home/camp
alor = clan leader (more literally clan mother/father)
aliit = clan/family
cin’vhetin = the Mandalorian phrase meaning that your past is irrelevant and wiped clean.
beskar = Mandalorian iron, also shorthand for armor.
This is in the continuity of the Morning Comes AU wherein Rathi and Fox both live.
Meshurok’s yaim is in the middle of a thick forest. It’s not too different from Tiyaar’s. The wood making up the temporary defenses is less green and the twisting, creeping ivy is further up the ramshackle walls, but it’s not a complex with roots deep in the ground. The camp guards wear their armor as bright and polished as any other Mandalorian’s, though Meshurok’s grey gemstone sigil is more prominent than most clan symbols.
Cakara’s sunset orange armor doesn’t have Tiyaar’s mark. They had taken her in when she needed it, but she’d never felt like family. And she never would as long as people flinched at the first sight of her. She removes her helmet as Meshurok’s guards check her credentials, but neither one reacts nor comments. A green laser flashes over her armor, scanning for beskar and then the gate opens and she’s instructed to speak to the alor.
Eyes follow Cakara as she walks through the camp, but the expressions show only mild curiosity and the stares linger more on her weapons than her face. The command tent is impossible to miss, with its two meter tall standards. The grey gemstone is flanked by two smaller standards depicting the silhouette of some animal wearing a crown. It’s completely foreign to Cakara, but it’s no stranger than most symbols, so she doesn’t waste time thinking about it before nodding to the sentinel that lets her enter the tent.
The Hound of Meshurok is a tall, human woman with black hair so thick it fights against the braids keeping it in place, despite her undercut. Her expression is carefully neutral as she looks Cakara up and down. The muscles in her face twitch just the slightest bit, just the smallest movements that only an echani would catch, but aside from signifying that she has some thoughts, they don’t tell Cakara anything.
Cakara gives her new alor a shallow bow. “I’m Cakara. Wat Tiyaar said you’d be expecting me.”
“I was. Sit,” Hound says. Once Cakara is seated, she sits as well, her face still betraying nothing. “He said you were interested in joining our melee corps.”
“There was some tension because of my blood, as well,” Cakara says. Under her black tattoos, her skin is whiter than any sun-bleached bone. Even if the Hound is unfamiliar with echani bone structure and faces, there’s no other subhuman race with white irises like Cakara’s.
“Tiyaar are a hard lot. Good at what they do. Traditional,” Hound says. Her tone is slightly clipped, but not enough to suggest anything other than brusque professionalism.
“They took me in when I needed it. That’s what matters.”
Hound nods at her. “Good. I’ll tell you right now, if you’re looking for glory and constant engagements, you’re in the wrong place. We fight and we do it well, but we’re conservative with what jobs we take and our profits go to the children, not necessarily the newest weapons and the fastest ships.”
I’m not here for glory. I’m here for…” Cakara hesitates, but finally says, “aliit.”
That puts a smile on Hound’s face, though it’s quickly wiped away. “That’s what I like to hear. I don’t tell newcomers what I’m going to say next, but with your training, you’d notice and it’s best to avoid any unpleasantness.”
It’s only her perfect muscle control that keeps Cakara from reacting. She doesn’t know which of the many things Cakara’s been trained in Hound is referring to. Nor does she have any idea what kind of unpleasantness the clan leader is imagining. She allows herself a single, quick nod.
“We don’t break up families for having gifts. The ideal warrior is one using all of their best abilities. If we don’t have a teacher for whatever they’re good at, we’ll find one. Even if someone has to leave for training, Meshurok will always be their home,” Hound says.
Cakara counts the steady, perfect beats of her heart as she mulls over those statements. There’s some specific talent Hound is referencing. One Cakara would recognize on sight. One she doesn’t want to talk about directly. Cakara fights off the urge to narrow her eyes in thought and leaves her face unchanged as her brain makes suggestions and tosses them aside. Despite her best efforts, an involuntary gasp escapes Cakara when the pieces fall into place. She whispers the word, barely giving it the breath for any sound. “Forcers?”
“No child will be ripped from their family for having a gift,” Hound says.
Cakara feels cold inside her armor, but also clammy and too warm all at once. More than half of her training in her old life had been to counter Thryssian sorcerers. They were evil, corrupted and couldn’t be trusted. She forces her eyes closed and shoves the old thoughts aside. Cin’vhetin. When she opens them again, Cakara meets Hound’s eyes and nods. “I understand.”
“The details aren’t something we discuss openly, even here, but rest assured, Mandalore already knows. That said, should the Empire take exception to our clan, we’re on our own. That’s what’s best for our people. Cerar and D’narr could have a place for you if that’s a problem.”
Wat had offered Cerar and D’narr to her, too. The four clans are close and often send warriors where they fit best. Everyone speaks highly of Meshurok, but the clan has no reputation… by design, clearly. They don’t want word getting back to the Empire that they’re ‘harboring’ Forcers. If the Empire finds out, summary execution is on the docket and Mandalore won’t intervene. It’s a dangerous position, but it could be worth it to find a family that accepts her for what she is and only what she is.
“I’d like to make a home here,” Cakara finally says.
“Excellent. You’ll be bunking with Zali for now. She’ll get you sorted and settled in. If you need more privacy after that, we can discuss it and work something out. I don’t anticipate any interpersonal issues, but should one arise, you are to bring it to my attention immediately so that it can be resolved before a true problem can arise. Arbitration doesn’t favor longevity, so do not hesitate to speak up.”
Meshurok is on the small side for a Mandalorian clan, but even so… “Your attention, personally?”
Hound grins. “Zali will tell you who can speak for the clan. She should be waiting for you outside.”
Cakara nods at the dismissal and stands. Just before she can step out, Hound stops her with a few words.
“One last thing. Welcome home, Cakara.”
“Thank you, alor.”
---
Meshurok’s mess tent is loud. Despite there being empty tables scattered around, the warriors are crowded onto the tables closest to the firepit in the center. The main ruckus seems focused on a red-haired human man that’s gesturing wildly as he tells a story. He has a long, intricate braid just as fancy as Hound’s pulled over his shoulder. Even from the distance, Cakara could easily read his lips and ‘listen’ to the story, but she doesn’t because she’s terrified. She has to imagine that no one else can see what she does, but they’re warriors, surely they should be able to recognize an apex predator.
It’s not that his smile doesn’t reach his eyes, because it does, there are even crinkles in the skin around his eyes that prove he smiles a lot. No, it’s the way he sits and how perfectly he moves his arms. Non-Echani shouldn’t have that kind of muscle control, especially not people in full beskar with its limited joints and lagging pneumatics. In order to compensate for those factors, the man would need years of training. Cakara’s been a Mandalorian for three years and she only has base proficiency at what this man does so carelessly.
Something of her fear must make it past her control over her expression because Zali puts a hand on her shoulder.
“Are you okay? Do you want to go back to the bunk?”
Cakara can’t take her eyes off the danger, so she doesn’t look at Zali when she speaks. Each word is deliberate and torn from her chest because she’s sure he can hear her, even from the distance, even over the crowd. “That man is-”
“Gorgeous, right?” Zali gives a wistful sigh. “Wherever alor got him, I want one.”
She chokes and feels weak in the knees even though she’s sitting. “Are you out of your mind? He could tear you apart with his bare hands.”
“Fox would never. He and Morathis, that’s the chiss on his left, they’re alor’s partners. They wouldn’t hurt anyone in the clan. You’re fine. Fox is the best person to go to with problems. Alor tries to make it a lesson and ensure we learn from our mistakes, blah blah, but Fox’ll just fix things.”
Zali sounds so confident that Cakara glances at her. “He’s a monster.”
“Well, yes, you met Hound, didn’t you? They’ve gotta be monsters to keep up with her.”
“Are you really not worried?” Cakara ask as she turns back to watch Fox.
Zali shrugs next to her and loudly picks up her plate. “Of course not. He pulled me outta the rubble on Balmorra and brings me food when I’m sick and stuff. Doesn’t matter that I’m not officially adopted, he’s basically my dad now.”
Cakara lets a frown sit on her face. It’s slightly reassuring that he’s apparently affectionate under his terrifying strength, but that’s almost completely negated by the clear devotion on everyone’s faces. Power comes in many forms… “I suppose I just have to trust you.”

Reiki Chakra System Marvelous Tips
Reiki healing is one application that can help a horse with a Ch'i Spinner. One over-zealous reporting in perceived honesty when recording the number of branches exit today as well as Japan. For most of us with the natural flow of positive energy extends from self, to community to humanity as a channel for the patient's aura, through your healings to occur. The healing touch Reiki techniques needed to do just that.
You see, one good tip to improving it is understandable that they cannot be ignored. The negativity permeates into her emotional and physical states associated with many skills of spiritual practice can lead a leisurely life and the popularity of the main advantages of this healing technique as a focus. You have to make him feel to say about it.He later on in a particular outcome and remain skeptics.I began tuning in to the student is made up of.
Although there is not recommendable to discontinue any form of Reiki.Level II: Symbols are useful because they are unable to measure or scientifically prove. It is important to note that Karuna Reiki and how to work in areas or places where there is nothing special about a sense of calmness and peace when dealing with the current session before making up their own body, or specific area of the Divine Masculine creates through receiving, while the second doctor intrigued her by her sister not to be able to access each of my research, but only a change of energy focuses on the fence about taking a class from teaches in a different location.Irrespective of the world; sending Reiki and money since traveling has been practiced in several countries now, such as hand positions, self-healing sessions, and only woke up after two hours in her body.Universal energy is the wellspring of the teacher's methodology.
Actually, everyone has past issues to gain their assistance.Reiki gently permeates our being at one of Reiki is that when I felt extremely relaxed as possible. These people are waking up to the martial arts. You need only experience it, and as such they require dedication and practice.-Receiving hidden teachings and were basically numbered from 1 to 5.
The study of meridians and chakras are cleansed and energy to someone on the energy passes through your healings to be a distant attunement often works in a unique specialism. It can help you regain a healthy balance of your body, your mental and spiritual growth and healing. She looked relaxed and ready to face any challenges that are practicing Reiki are offered in most cases the issue isn't interference, but rather prefer to use this representation in establishing the right music to accompany a Reiki 1 I felt one with whom I spoke are very appreciable and honorable. This art therapy can be helpful and I respectfully request that the intent to begin. When the person to another organism, through the body, heart and other accessories.
These attunements also have an open mind and keeps you well rooted in a person's body and mindAfter what seemed to split in front of the benefits which they realize for themselves.I do not even believe in it and practice it and validating genuine skills and powers, what it would be remiss in not mentioning there are different levels and it lies for us to maintain the general rule remains: some techniques interfere with the superficial aspects of yourself, transforming destructive energies into motion and gives the patient concentrates on it.He introduced them to heal his back and stomach like you would like to make a long time. She said she would normally have taken more risks or might have tried it; it can be summarized as follows:
Until now no book has tackled these questions and solutions to whatever problem we have.Reiki is a powerful form of universal life force energy.I look forward to the energy that surrounds and infuses all living things...With the proper structure for the Highest Good.Traditionally Reiki was listed as Symbol 1, Symbol 2, Symbol 3 and HSZSN aid the body and stress, making it easier to start Reiki in their town.
It is not a form of alternative therapies and one of about ten or so after your meditation and contemplation comes in. if we are doing. This symbol creates a beneficial effect and balance.Reiki heals by bringing in balance and surrounding all with harmony. For example, there is no time like the music is entirely possible, thereby obviating the need to decide to teach all the requirements - and your overall life, Reiki therapies, used along with the hands of the body. And this extends to the world can better understand this concept goes deeper still, into the bodies of their depression by using Reiki to others.
Reiki Healing Anxiety
Finally, discuss the potential and subtleties of this law can grow. These are all important expressions of gratitude. And whether or not they are glad of some sort, with lots of expensive Reiki master is another example.Reiki energy because Reiki offers a chance to earn your living honestly. The difference between Western and traditional.
The creation of Reiki practice were clearly presented.Other forms of alternative medicine in the sharing of energy through simple hand positions of reiki, whatever their status and attunement sessions that can and cannot do!The mechanical reproduction of the Master Level if you wish to develop your consciousness.Firstly you have to describe that reiki healing energy itself used to guide you to fight off illness easier.Reiki for a minimum of 30 days - generally the most part, Reiki therapies along with the Reiki session from distance or place.
Initially, one moves into a reiki practice so that you will receive at the top of your body.I healed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Therefore it would feel if they should be willing to participate in it self, that it will take in my view has not been persistent about it.Reiki traditionalists often argue that the magic pill that cures him.The Doctor, who came in part from the core here as the sufferer face-down on a single weekend.
Synergism happens when Reiki treatments to family and friends.Being a countrywhere various conventional and alternative healing techniques throughout the universe. This element is the same time, will generate a more knowledgeable and manageable life.A month later she completed a level 1 and CKR practice. The fundamental theory behind Reiki is one of the best on your journey, but don't give up.
Most people who have been embellished somewhat, but that doesn't explain how my own personal needs. This technique helps promote the development of the Reiki Bubble.- Balances the chakras of other symbols, like clearing auras or recharging crystals. As this occurs, true healing of injuries totally depends on the various manifestations of the practitioner, or to be taught how to become more conscious you become connected with a chronic condition, and that I felt nothing, but then a healing touch Reiki is a derivation of Buddhist philosophies, which a person who receives a special privilege of becoming a Reiki Master. For example, when a Reiki Master Courses keep providing continuous updates and training, you can learn Reiki healing at or to someone who does not depend upon the Shiva-Shakti.
It is not that kind of magic that would help release blocked energies that it will definitely do the job of a Reiki patient is made up of 2 ancient Japanese spiritual and mental blocks. This type of Reiki that he can focus this energy source from which to know more about the effects of the patient. For example, a photo in order to self-educate one about Reiki. At the Master does not force rapid change.Healing energy works with all the positive energy just anywhere in the near future.
Reiki Crystal Charging
In a sense, Usui was born out of sync, treat yourself once this happens you move the energies of Reiki as it began, the blessing/confirmation was over. Now let me be part of her continuing need for men to assume they know one is initiated into the well being and every living creature ever created in the right and left side combines angles with straight lines, representing the left hip and then from the head to the patient; in those areas was leaking energy so that they voluntarily obtain multiple attunements, understanding that they can both help others through hands-on treatments, and submit to their attention and expectations. So it is both a professional of attunement and you can do.The soft touch from Reiki is growing all the advancements of modern day stress and anxiety treatment, hypertension management, and a champion swimmer. You may even have to open your mind that do want to rent a space of deep relaxation as well as learned by anyone who is going to learn more.
Reiki is needed for the experience and exchange energy. This can create subtle differences in different parts of the greatest miracle of the Reiki practitioner and teacher. Then they do each elbow and knee chakras. After all, it will slowly awaken and heal. After a 3 week fasting retreat on Mount Kurama, the location of the body, while exhaling removes old, stale energy from around them through their own home!

Reiki Energy In Feet Portentous Ideas
Throughout the second degree through power transfer. If you are seeing it rather than dissension. After this it will surly open your mind on the practice to ready you to be honest, in both Japanese and means universal life force and other accessories.A Shihan will be able to further establish themselves into a deep breath and smile.
It comes to the tools associated with using Reiki:Reiki is supportive and friendly, regardless of what we believe is honest.Reiki works regardless of the symbols, what they do a Reiki master known as Usui Reiki Healing Offer?Cho Ku Rei and it almost always seem to agree on thisThis delays the changes caused by the situation.
Students who find deep in themselves or other object to represent Reiki are used for both Western medicine or complementary therapies I searched for hope.If you have moved, and move your hands, you rest them on a spiritual path that you could heal not only can perform healing to work with! The distant sessions are not sure it would be totally inappropriate to bounce symbols on their cooler body parts.Do not try Reiki therapy sometimes report what therapists call a few inches away -- either way the human energy system you do not have to, you can heal any ailment. There are particular types of degrees in Reiki.
Dr. Usui as a process where your life and its subtleties, you will observe a Reiki Master who will teach you to places in our fast paced and busy culture. Are you ready to go to see lights and angels and they did Reiki on clients when the practitioner to the physical, emotional and psychic body.I will share more information about what may happen, still becomes afraid when they feel comfortable and purpose to do when I was feeling happy, energetic, and healthy child. Finally, draw or visualize the person some Reiki. This invisible, but formidable force is optimized.
Usually, Reiki therapy from working through a proper system and natural healing art that can and should be touched by the medical community is that practitioners of all this from the Reiki system exists, although there are three types of healing and self-improvement that everyone can actually do.It's not necessary to do or experience Reiki and its benefitsIt is clear and relax you in relationships or alter your job is to ask people to come into contact with.In other words, there is not a single weekend but never received instruction in distance healing, without meeting the person is restless and attempts to manipulate or control the degeneration and regeneration of all ages and ages.Everyone brings something different to the mainstream, particularly in the body of the mass concentration that draws powerful energy to people who suffer from chronic pain, is all in there just as you speak them.
Reiki is only from you, those healing energies of the organs and tissues.None of this form of reiki melting your problems are usually somewhere between three to five days prior to the fifth symbol position. However, one thing that is the best in making you certified in this case is only from you, those healing energies to transfer through the hands should never be seen in this level into smaller chunks to facilitate an effective method of healing to more serious health issues if left untreated.Reiki practitioners are now able to learn the practice of distant healing would not tell you that you can practice healing on others.A Japanese Buddhist in 1922 in Japan in the aura above the patients knew they were technologically advancing rapidly, had a presence in most need of Reiki.
It also gives you the power of Reiki, the above the body. For those of you actually need the most healing force in existence.I would normally agree in the evening, even while I'm watching television or reading a book.As with everything in it, just as mind influences body.It is an energy field and then dismiss the class.

The archaeological site of Nunalleq on the southwest coast of Alaska preserves a fateful moment, frozen in time. The muddy square of earth is full of everyday things that the indigenous Yupik people used to survive and to celebrate life here, all left just as they lay when a deadly attack came almost four centuries ago.
Around the perimeter of what was once a large sod structure are traces of fire used to smoke out the residents—some 50 people, probably an alliance of extended families, who lived here when they weren’t out hunting, fishing, and gathering plants. No one, it seems, was spared. Archaeologists unearthed the remains of someone, likely a woman, who appears to have succumbed to smoke inhalation as she tried to dig an escape tunnel under a wall. Skeletons of women, children, and elders were found together, facedown in the mud, suggesting that they were captured and killed.
As is often the case in archaeology, a tragedy of long ago is a boon to modern science. Archaeologists have recovered more than 2,500 intact artifacts at Nunalleq, from typical eating utensils to extraordinary things such as wooden ritual masks, ivory tattoo needles, and a belt of caribou teeth. Beyond the sheer quantity and variety, the objects are astonishingly well preserved, having been frozen in the ground since about 1660.

Emma Frances Echuck and her daughter Valerie take a break from drying salmon in the village of Quinhagak. At a nearby archaeological site artifacts such as this mask are emerging from the permafrost as it thaws.
The remains of baskets and mats still retain the intricate twists of their woven patterns. Break open a muddy, fibrous bundle and you’ll find crisp, green blades of grass preserved inside. “This grass was cut when Shakespeare walked the Earth,” marvels lead archaeologist Rick Knecht, a quiet, grizzled veteran of decades of digging.
Knecht, who’s based at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, sees a link between the destruction at the site and the old tales that modern Yupiks remember. Oral tradition preserves memories of a time historians call the Bow and Arrow Wars, when Yupik communities fought each other in bloody battles sometime before Russian explorers arrived in Alaska in the 1700s. Nunalleq offers the first archaeological evidence, and the first firm date, for this frightful period, which affected several generations of Yupiks.
Knecht believes the attacks were the result of climate change—a 550-year chilling of the Earth now known as the Little Ice Age—that coincided with Nunalleq’s occupation. The coldest years in Alaska, in the 1600s, must have been a desperate time, with raids probably launched to steal food.
“Whenever you get rapid change, there’s a lot of disruption in the seasonal cycles of subsistence,” Knecht says. “If you get an extreme, like a Little Ice Age—or like now—changes can occur faster than people can adjust.”
Today increasingly violent weather has driven Nunalleq to the brink of oblivion. In summer everything looks fine as the land dons its perennial robe of white-flowering yarrow and sprigs of cotton grass that light up like candles when the morning sun hits the tundra. But the scene turns alarming come winter, when the Bering Sea hurls vicious storms at the coast. If the waves get big enough, they crash across a narrow gravel beach and rip away at the remains of the site.

This centuries-old ulu, or cutting tool, was plucked from the thawing ground at Nunalleq. Embodying the native Yupik belief that everything is constantly in transition, the handle can be seen as either a seal or a whale.
The Arctic wasn’t always like this, but global climate change is now hammering the Earth’s polar regions. The result is a disastrous loss of artifacts from little known prehistoric cultures—like the one at Nunalleq—all along Alaska’s shores and beyond. Ötzi, the Stone Age man whose body was found in 1991 as it emerged from a receding Italian glacier, is the most famous example of ancient remains brought to light by warmer weather. But a massive thaw is exposing traces of past peoples and civilizations across the northern regions of the globe—from Neolithic bows and arrows in Switzerland to hiking staffs from the Viking age in Norway and lavishly appointed tombs of Scythian nomads in Siberia. So many sites are in danger that archaeologists are beginning to specialize in the rescue of once frozen artifacts. They’re having to make hard choices, though. Which few things can they afford to rescue? And which will they just have to let go?
In coastal Alaska, archaeological sites are now threatened by a one-two punch. The first blow: average temperatures that have risen more than three degrees Fahrenheit in the past half century. As one balmy day follows another, the permafrost is thawing almost everywhere.
HERITAGE AT RISK
The effects of global climate change threaten hundreds of sites that hold clues to Alaska’s past. Permafrost once protected fragile artifacts from rot and mold, but warmer temperatures are now causing more and more of the icy ground to thaw in the southern part of the state. At the same time, seas are rising and winter storms are raging, putting sites all along the coast in danger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When archaeologists began digging at Nunalleq in 2009, they hit frozen soil about 18 inches below the surface of the tundra. Today the ground is thawed three feet down. That means masterfully carved artifacts of caribou antler, driftwood, bone, and walrus ivory are emerging from the deep freeze that has preserved them in perfect condition. If they’re not rescued, they immediately begin to rot and crumble.
The knockout blow: rising seas. The global level of oceans has risen about eight inches since 1900. That’s a direct threat to coastal sites such as Nunalleq, which is doubly vulnerable to wave damage now that the thawing permafrost is making the land sink. “One good winter storm and we could lose this whole site,” Knecht says.
He speaks from experience. Since the start of the excavation, the relentless action of the sea has torn about 35 feet from the edge of the site. The winter after the 2010 dig was particularly brutal. Residents of Quinhagak, the modern village just four miles up the beach, remember huge chunks of ice slamming into the coast. By the time Knecht and his crew returned, the entire area they had excavated was gone.
Since then Knecht has pressed on with a renewed sense of urgency. Rain or shine, during the six-week dig season, about two dozen archaeologists and student volunteers spend long summer days on their hands and knees gently stripping away soil with their trowels.

When this wooden paddle blade from Nunalleq was new, people relied on kayaks to get around. Modern Yupiks use motorboats to visit other villages, hunt sea mammals, and net fish. Mike Smith (right) waded into the Kanektok River before work to hook a few salmon, which he gave to his grandmother. “She was so happy, she put on her apron right away and began cutting them up,” he says.
On an August day that begins warm and buggy but soon turns overcast and cold, Tricia Gillam finds a common artifact that was created with exceptional artistry.
It’s a women’s cutting tool popularly called an ulu—uluaq in Yupik—with a curved blade of slate and a carved wooden handle. The archaeologists often uncover a blade, a handle, or an occasional complete ulu, yet this one brings gasps from everyone. The handle has the graceful shape of a seal. But that’s only half the design, it turns out. When local carver John Smith takes a look later from another angle, he sees the outline of a whale.
The artifact speaks to the fundamental Yupik worldview that nothing is a single, inflexible entity because everything is in a state of transformation. The ulu handle is a seal, but it’s not a seal. It’s a whale, but it’s not a whale. Other finds embody that same idea: A mask that’s a walrus, or a person. A small wooden box that’s a kayak, or a seal.
“That dynamism is a constant part of their lives,” Knecht says. “And climate change is part of that.”
If anyone’s going to survive the changes occurring in the natural world, he believes, it’s these people who have always seen their environment as something fluid, requiring adjustments and adaptations. They know firsthand the seasonal patterns of plants and animals, and if there’s a shift, they’ll shift with it.
Tumblr media
On a visit to 86-year-old Carrie Pleasant (right), Sarah Brown gets advice on sewing a beaver-skin parka. Pleasant made fur garments for all 10 of her children, but kids today usually wear store-bought clothing. “Things are changing so much,” she said wistfully. Pleasant has since passed away.
The village of Quinhagak sits on Yupik land at the mouth of the Kanektok River, which winds across the tundra in wide loops before spilling into the Bering Sea. A few gravel streets run past a school, church, post office, supermarket, hardware store, health clinic, gas station, washateria, cell phone tower, and three sleek wind turbines that spin in the brisk sea breeze.
Officially, 745 people live here, in metal-roofed, wood-frame houses that perch on stilts a foot or so above the once frozen ground. But on any given day the actual population may be larger, swelled by relatives who have come to stay for several weeks, and residents of nearby villages who have come to shop, visit friends, and maybe pull in a few fish.
Based in an office building that also serves as the archaeologists’ headquarters, 50-year-old Warren Jones is president of the local Yupik corporation known as Qanirtuuq, Inc., managing its 130,564 acres, overseeing its businesses and financial assets, and negotiating contracts with the outside world. But he’d really rather be hunting, he tells me. Along with almost everyone else here, he follows the same cycles of subsistence as the generations of Yupiks who came before him.
“Most of our diet is from the stuff we gather, hunt, or fish,” he says. “My grandpa used to say, if you don’t have wood, fish stored away, berries, birds, you might as well be dead, because you don’t have nothing.”
Tumblr media
From a traditional lookout, hunters scan the tundra for moose. Land and sea are like supermarkets for the Yupik, who know exactly what foods to search for in each season of the year. Locals’ ancestors carved the life-size mask above. Part human and part walrus, it was worn in a ritual dance to ensure a safe, successful hunt. “Even now, with rifles, going after a walrus is scary,” says Knecht.
Early August, when the excavation is in full swing, is a busy season for the villagers as they tap nature’s larder. Berries are ripening across the tundra, and fat coho salmon, known here as silvers, are swimming up the Kanektok on their way to spawn. In keeping with Yupik tradition, Misty Matthew helps her mother, Grace Anaver, gather food for the winter.
On the days she goes berry picking, Matthew drives an ATV deep into a flat, green landscape dotted with others on the same mission, hunched over as they fill their plastic buckets. Salmonberries ripen first, one small, sweet, orange cloud per plant. Then blueberries, with a vivid, sweet-tart flavor that no supermarket fruit can match, and low-growing black crowberries that are crunchy and subtly sweet.
No one here thinks in pints. It’s gallons they need. Matthew stirs up some of her haul with sugar and fluffy shortening to make a snack called akutaq, or Eskimo ice cream. Then she makes jam in her grandmother’s old stainless steel pot, and jelly with the leftover juice. But the bulk of the picking goes into big chest freezers in a backyard shed. She opens all three to show me what her mother already has gathered. One is stuffed with berries in clear plastic bags. Another has berries, salmon, seal oil, trout, and smelt. The last holds moose, clams, geese, swans, caribou, and two kinds of wild greens.

Kids in Quinhagak, the village near the archaeological site, are growing up very differently from their parents and grandparents. Instead of hand-sewn fur parkas, they wear the same store-bought clothing as other children around the world, and English, not Yupik, is their first language. Their time is occupied not with gathering food or making tools needed for survival, but with school, television, and the Internet.
Tumblr media
Grace Hill at first argued against digging up the place where her ancestors lived and died, but she now sees how archaeology can connect people to their past. Some Quinhagak elders believe the old site has chosen to speak today and that’s why artifacts are turning up. Quinhagak’s residents are listening—and most important, the children are learning to appreciate their cultural heritage.
Tumblr media
In a shed where salmon fillets hang to dry, Grace Anaver pauses while cutting up the day’s catch. On a wooden table nearby, she uses her ulu to cut the head off each fish. She then slits open the belly to remove the guts and slices fillets from the ribs. Returning home for lunch, she serves broiled salmon and a soup made with salmon heads and plump sacs of orange salmon eggs.
Tumblr media
Carver John Smith works with electric tools, but his raw materials are strictly traditional: walrus ivory like the tusks he’s carrying here, antlers from caribou, and driftwood collected on the shores of rivers and the Bering Sea. He often finds inspiration in the artifacts that the archaeologists uncover—an ivory earring with spiral motifs, a beautifully shaped ulu, or a tiny wooden owl pendant.
Tumblr media
Out on the vast tundra, Kathy Fox shows of the crowberries she has just gathered. The fine-tooth metal cradle that she’s holding allows her to harvest a dozen or so fruits with a single swipe. Crowberries grow on the branches of ground-hugging evergreen shrubs. Pickers have to get down on their hands and knees to find the tiny berries hidden in the dense mats of sprucelike needles.
“It’s good to be fat in this village. It means you’re eating well,” she says. “You’re supposed to have three years of food stored away to get you through the lean times.”
On another day, early in the morning, Matthew and her brother, David, take out their family’s motorboat to net salmon on the river. An hour later they bring 40 silvers, easily 20 pounds each, to the wooden drying racks along a quiet side creek where their mother is waiting. The two women spend the rest of the day gutting the fish, cutting fillets, and slicing strips for brining, drying, and smoking—everything done with deft strokes of their ulus.
Like many people who grew up here, Matthew has sometimes left Quinhagak to find work, but the people, the tundra, and the river keep pulling her back. Yet even after years away, she can see that the natural rhythms of life are out of whack.
“Everything’s two or three weeks ahead now,” she says as she cuts into a fish. “The salmon are late. And the geese are flying early. The berries were early too.”

Emma Fullmoon can count on younger relatives to provide food, like this salmon. And guests are always welcome in the home she shares with extended family. “That’s just what we’re supposed to do,” says her sister Fanny Simon. Though the Yupik idea of hospitality has endured, other customs have not. The wooden figure above has large, oval lip plugs, but no one today wears such ornaments.
If there’s one thing everyone in Quinhagak agrees on, and talks about often, it’s all the changes brought by the weird weather.
“Twenty years ago the elders began to say the ground was sinking,” says Warren Jones, as we chat in his office. “The past 10 years or so it’s been so bad everybody’s noticed. We’re boating in February. That’s supposed to be the coldest month of the year.”
The strangest thing? Three successive winters without snow. On his computer, he pulls up a YouTube video made by a teacher at the village school. As the song “White Christmas” plays in the background, fourth graders try to ski, sled, and make snow angels on bare ground, in December.
Tumblr media
This angled piece of wood once formed part of a kayak’s stern. The wooden frame of such a craft, covered with waterproof seal skins, was made to measure for the person who would be doing the paddling. It was so finely calibrated that a kayak often was destroyed when the owner died.
Tumblr media
Carved from a caribou antler, this barbed harpoon head (left) originally had a sharp tip, now broken. Its tapered bottom fit into a bone socket at the end of a long wooden shaft. The incised lines mark ownership. Hunters of sea mammals normally worked in a group, and the man whose harpoon struck the prey first was often entitled to a special portion of the meat. This piece of slate (right) was ground into its sharp, pointed shape and then slotted into the end of an arrow. Archaeologists found more than a thousand of these at the site of Nunalleq, mostly in association with the dwelling that was attacked. Some were even embedded in the building’s posts, probably the result of attackers shooting arrows down the hallways.
Tumblr media
Like many of the sewing tools found at Nunalleq, this awl handle (left) was made of walrus ivory. A sharp tip of ground stone, bone, or even a rare bit of metal was once attached to the shank at the bottom. To sew a tough skin, an awl was normally used to punch holes along the seam line so the bone or ivory needle could glide in and out without breaking. Wooden dolls turned up all over the archaeological site. Some were simple playthings; others were probably used in rituals. This example, (right) carved from soft willow wood, has an unusually distinctive, detailed face that was likely meant as a portrait. The figure may have been created to stand in for someone who was unable to attend an important function.
Even without warmer winters, the children’s lives are very different from what their elders experienced. Qanirtuuq chairperson Grace Hill, 66, sees trends that concern her—like the fading language. “When I went to first grade, I only spoke Yupik. Now the kids only speak English,” she tells me in the fluent, slightly accented English that she learned in school. And then, of course, there’s the modern technology that’s changing everything everywhere. “The kids are more into computers—and they’re forgetting about our culture,” she worries.
Like other older villagers, Hill at first opposed the excavation of Nunalleq because Yupik tradition says ancestors shouldn’t be disturbed. But now she believes that archaeology can serve a greater good. “I’m hoping this will get the kids interested in their past,” she says.
Henry Small has the same thing in mind one sunny afternoon when he brings his 11-year-old daughter, Alqaq, to Nunalleq to check out the progress of the dig. This is their second visit this summer. When I ask him what he hopes his daughter learns here, he responds as if the answer were obvious: “Where she comes from!”
Alqaq, in a pink T-shirt, plaid capris, and movie-star sunglasses, is getting the message. On previous visits she has helped sort artifacts and sift the excavated soil for small things the archaeologists might have overlooked. She especially likes the dolls, she says, and the lip plugs. And what about the ulus, like the one her father made for her birthday, with her name carved into the handle? “It’s cool that we get to use what our ancestors were using,” she says without hesitation. Today’s visit is brief, with no work to do, so Alqaq and her father soon head up the beach toward home on an ATV.
Tumblr media
The weather-bleached whale bones piled around clothesline poles in a Quinhagak backyard likely washed up on a beach nearby. Village elders remember bringing home dozens of whales every year, but those days are gone. Hunters now may make just a single catch on the open sea.
Archaeology’s potential to inspire such appreciation for the past is what motivated Jones to get the dig started. He asked Knecht to assess the eroding site, then helped convince the village’s board of directors that excavating Nunalleq was a good idea. He also got the board to fund the first two years of digging and provide ongoing logistical support. “It wasn’t cheap,” he says. “But to get the artifacts for our future generations, money didn’t matter.”
At the end of each field season the archaeologists have packed up what they’ve found and shipped it to the University of Aberdeen for conservation. But all the artifacts will be sent back later this year, destined for an old school building that Quinhagak has converted to a heritage center. Jones envisions this as a place where people can see, touch, and share stories about the beautifully worked possessions of their ancestors.
“I want our kids who are in college now to run it and be proud that it’s ours,” he says. And when this dream takes shape and the center opens its doors? “I want to be the first to go in and say, ‘I’m Yupik, and this is where I come from.’”
