Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation is here. It launched a couple of weeks ago and after trying a bunch of different shades, I’ve figured out that I’m the colour 6 Neutral. This is a medium finish, luminous foundation that is long-wearing and maintains its glowy look. Personally, I grew up with oily skin, so I put powder on top of everything, but the glow still comes through and this foundation looks beautiful. I’ve tried it in natural light, fluorescent light, and a bunch of different settings and it really does always look beautiful. Medium coverage works really well for me because you can sheer it out with a brush or layer it to add more. I also love a pump, 1 pump is perfect for my whole face. I’ll be getting a warmer colour to use in the summer but this is perfect right now. Thanks to @charlottetilbury for hooking me up. I’m enjoying using this. I know many people like seeing the foundation colour so they can decide what colour to buy, so swipe to see a swatch. The 6 series doesn’t come in a warm tone but I’m happy with the neutral. For @_claudia72. Here is an interesting shade comparison between the No. 1 de Chanel in BR 22 (left in both photos) and the new Nars in Deauville. Pinker on the left and so much warmer on the right. I’m always happy to see a makeup brand support & cater to diverse skin tones. @fentybeauty is one of the brands that launched with 40 shades that range from really light to deep dark shades. Something else I appreciate is the equal distribution of shades between light, medium, tan & dark skin tones (unlike so many other brands)! I was matched to 290 in winter and it has a beautiful olive undertone but lacks enough yellow for me. So, when I visited the pop up store in London, I grabbed samples of adjacent shades to 290. 👉🏽Swipe to see swatches of 280, 290 & 310. The undertones vary quite a bit.
