So uhhh… Chain of Thorns was really like that, huh?

#chain of thorns spoilers #I just finished it #I’m mostly annoyed and disappointed despite not having very high expectations to begin with #so much was rushed and brushed over #while also somehow being incredibly slow #Thomas and Alastair are one of the few redeeming qualities #how dare she do Christopher so dirty #I would still be upset if he had just died #but to kill him and then have it hardly effect ANYTHING #like where is the grief?? #they brushed over it SO quickly #for a book that literally has an intermission for grief there was none
