As we approach the end of a difficult year, I’m getting requests for lavender essential oil bars that #soothethesoul. This batch will be going to a natural foods market in #NYC. For soaping techniques, I accelerated the trace of the charcoal and purple mica colorants with castor oil, while keeping a thin trace for the white background. Lightly manipulating the swirls using the “hanger method” achieves a more modern ink-stained look.
