I️ntro post!

Hi, I’m Es! I️ write under the pseudonym holyfishsticksironman, and go by Fish as well.

I’ve been writing since I️ was a teenager, but only seriously started writing the stories down since July of 2022.

Right now, I️ have two series that I’ll be posting:

Both are works of “fan-fish-tion” (term coined by @friendlyneighborhoodgeek) for The Breakfast Club.

John Bender hasn't known the love of a father. Now that he's facing the reality of becoming one, he runs. But he has someone running after him to point him to the love of the Father.

A next-generation AU about John Bender’s daughter Demi during her latter high school years as she precariously balances on the precipice of adulthood.

Demi’s story follows her as she struggles at Shermer High. Then, she transfers to Lyncoya High in Tennessee, and discovers a whole new set of problems: the most prominent one being Robby Taylor.

some bprd crew headcanons regarding cooking under the cut because damn this post got so long and im embarrassed but i think its pretty funny. so

liz probably has the world's shittiest diet<3 girl never learned how to cook and she adapts pretty well to the post-apocalyptic setting because eating nothing but instant noodles for a week straight was just her regular experience ages 13-18. too depressed to even make pasta. also shes afraid of burning something so that also contributes to not being a master chef. the epitome of a teenager who eats microwaved food and chicken nuggets every day

kate, being the mom friend, seems like someone who's cookings skills are god tier. another reason why johann longs for a physical body so much is to just experience the taste of kate's apple pie again. she uses it as a stress reliever and thats why liz still hasnt died of malnutrition. gotta keep ur gf well fed! very traditional cooking, no experimentation & its all made with love and care. takes note of everyone's dietary preferences. lov u kate

abe knows the basics but his dishes are really fucking bland. classifies as edible but barely. still better than liz's tho. besides that he eats three meals tops and theyre all fucking weird. its the fact that he spent so much time among british people as langdon and that just fundamentally hardwired something in his brain even undergoing fishfication couldnt rewrite. also im accepting lactose intolerant abe as canon. food allergies & picky eater representation

hellboy only knows how to make pamcakes. next. also has a very bad sweet tooth probably

ben would be a pretty decent cook? rivals kate's i would say. give him four random ingredients and he manages to make something tasty out of them. dude knows how to survive in a forest so........ also would eat anything but if he has the chance likes experimenting/trying more fancy stuff. the only bad thing is he probably drowns the final result eight out of ten times in hot sauce and liz is the only one who can eat it<3 abe fuckin dies after entering close proximity. kate eats it anyway and pretends very hard shes not crying. ben and liz make fun of them so bad

johann............ since he doesnt need to eat and forgot how many things taste he makes absolutely ATROCIOUS dishes. legit weird combinations. roger says theyre good tho. still, not allowed anywhere near the kitchen after One Memorable Incident
