Did they believe in Santa?: Santa isn't really a thing in Ooo, so no. Only people who seem to be familiar with him are like, Marceline and Simon, aka people who were around before the Great Mushroom Wars 1000+ years earlier. Then again, it was never confirmed whether or not that was a part of human culture that stuck around in Founders' Island, but seeing as Finn wasn't raised there, it doesn't make a difference in his case. It is implied that Santa was one of the bearers of the ice crown, since he's shown in the episode "Broke His Crown".

Were they a dinosaur or rock kid?: Definitely rock kid. This guy used to eat rocks. He probably found all kinds of cool ones on his adventures, especially during dungeon crawls (underground). A lot of them likely had magical properties or curses or whatnot. That's not to say Finn wouldn't be interested in dinosaurs, but to him they wouldn't be much different from any other monster roaming Ooo, so not quite as exciting compared to how modern kids see them. Also, there was an episode where Finn and Jake randomly hitched a ride with pterodactyl? Implying that some dinosaurs are actually around somehow. Maybe a Jurassic Park type scenario.

Bugs or slimy critters?: Both? Though he leans towards bugs due to his previous life as a butterfly. Also he has a roommate who's a worm.

Do they fidget? How?: Yes, definitely. This guy has adhd. It's very hard for him to sit still too long, unless he's actively meditating. He jiggles his legs a lot, fidgets with his hands, scratches his head. Makes weird little sounds. The question is how doesn't he fidget? It gets worse when he's feeling nervous or awkward.

What were they frequently in trouble for as a child?: Well... obviously. This is Finn, he's still frequently in trouble. But it's a different kind of trouble lol. Less 'go to your room' and more 'oh my god are you trying to get killed?' Anyone who's watched Adventure Time knows. That said, his parents having died when he was still pretty young, Jake raised him with a very nonchalant 'let Finn do what he wants' attitude. So he was rarely ever disciplined.

What underwear do they like?: Uh. The normal kind??

Designs on clothing or no?: He goes for very plain and simple outfits. They get destroyed pretty quickly so what's the point.

Birthmarks?: In the episode "Crossover" he claims to have a sideways teardrop birthmark "in like a really weird place." This is obviously some kind of comet shape.

Do they have good self control?: It depends. He can, but there are situations where he absolutely does not. Many situations. He's known for being reckless, and he can't stand to be inactive if he thinks someone needs help. And he's an adrenaline addict.

Favorite franchise?: Idk... the only franchise ever really talked abt in Adventure Time are the "Heat Signature" movies, which are portrayed as some kind of ghost-story psychological thriller/horror. So I do headcanon him liking those kind of movies and stories in general.

Do they re-enact scenarios in the shower?: Sometimes, but a lot of times he's so exhausted he just completely spaces out.

Do they tell the waiter that their order is wrong?: He's not a picky eater, so he probably wouldn't care enough to say anything. If he did, he'd be extremely polite about it, try not to make it a big deal.

Stairs or elevator?: Finn's claustrophobic after what happened with Golb, so not a fan of places like elevators. He'll use one if he has to, but would much rather use stairs.

Are they an exaggerator when telling stories?: Honestly, usually the opposite. He'll just blurt out the most insane sounding life-or-death absolutely twisted scenario like he's talking about going grocery shopping.

OK HERES MY WONKABOWL SUMMARY. UNDER THE CUT

context for how me, a teen with 0 money of my own who lives in chicago, ended up at the hollywood bowl to see this show in the first place: one of our family friends is in the band that was doing the live music and they were like Come On Down so we did.

anyway. at the beginning of the show there was a costume contest where the host called out uncomfortable child after uncomfortable child onstage and gently mocked them and a grown woman dressed as veruca salt screamed into the microphone in a character voice and no one laughed. a little girl won though she was very cute and deserved it one hundred percent.

then the show began. basically how it worked was like, they were playing the old movie with gene wilder on the jumbotrons but whenever they got to a song part the screen would go dark and one of the musical guests would come onstage and do the song, which was a cool concept tbh!! if a little tedious. anyway ill skip ahead bc i know ur all here for the Finnfo

okay. ‘i got a golden ticket.’ the announcer says “please welcome (old guy whose name i forgot) and finn wolfhard!” terrifyingly shrill scream tears through the audience. my mother laughs uncomfortably. said old man and finn shuffle onstage. old man sings the song. he pauses about two minutes in to give finn a second to go ‘uh actually thats my golden ti’ and then he cuts finn off and keeps singing. doesnt matter. we cant hear him. the minute finn opened his mouth the gates of hell also opened and all i can hear is screaming.

finn didnt actually say or sing much during this song which was very funny given how many people we saw on the way in who were DEFINITELY just there for him. at one point the old guy goes ‘finn! isnt it crazy! were at the hollywood bowl!’ and finn says ‘ive seen stranger things. get it? thats my show!’ very uncomfortably which was understandable because it wasnt very funny in all honesty. they go offstage.

the next time we see finn is at the bows. theyre playing ‘i want candy’ and all the musical guests come onstage and start playing little drums, finn included. the musical guests go up to do the bows and i was paying rapt attention at this point because our friend was supposed to go up with them but he missed his cue and right as he was running up finn (who he was supposed to grab hands with) was like ‘uhhh ok’ since he wasnt there and just reached to grab the next person and closed the hole. which was hilarious. then finn attempted to exit the stage before realizing they did in fact have to do a second bow and so he like sprinted back and it was doubly hilarious because he was in the dead center of the stage so everyone saw.

anyway. show ends. we are collected by the bands manager and taken to their greenroom. our friend shows up and collects his daughter who is eager to meet the 14-year-old girl who played a really cool piano piece before the show started and me and my sister tag along because why not. except when we follow them into the room we realize… everyone is here. like weird al is standing two feet away in all his rainbow-suited green-haired glory. so we panic a little. our friends daughter is like ‘i want to go see the other people!’ and nick is like ‘theyre probabyl down there (gestures down hallway)’ and as he says that security starts trying to get everyone to go down the hallway. and me and my sister are like…. Big Worm. so we go, but then nick is like ‘lets just try to sneak bck out to the band greenroom’ and im like noooo bc we are sardine-packed into a hall full of celebrities so i say to my sister ‘if we stay back no one is going to ask questions’ but she is fifteen so shes very angsty and likes being mean so she yelled at me and made me go. later we went back outside and we took about three steps from the door before realizing finn was Right There talking to some people and just as my sister was like ‘youre a socially anxious idiot i am going to go ask for a picture’ a car pulled up and he went away. so that was that. thanks for reading everyone this was much more long-winded than i intended it to be. it was a fun night tho

what is your duality?

sun and moon

for some you shine just right, and for others you are too much or too little. people either hate seeing you rise over the horizon or pray and send blessing to you like a favorite god. you are timeless and there are not many like you, you who can embody both a burning star and a cratered rock. what i'm trying to say is that your duality compliments itself very well, but not everyone will understand why they can't get what they want from you. it doesn't matter. burn strong when you feel the need, and be gentle in the nights it's called for.

He is! Finn actually loves to try new things, and he can be rather creative. Music is obviously very import to him and his group of friends; he plays the flute, likes to sing, loves to listen to music in general.

He's also been shown reading several times, and it seems like a form of relaxation for him when he wants to take his mind off things.

Obviously he loves video games too, and never runs out of new ones to play thanks to Beemo.

It does seem like he likes to draw, though he's comically bad at it lol. But he does it for fun, not to be a serious artist or anything.

And then there's the obvious ones, like adventuring/hiking/outdoorsy stuff, and sparring/martial arts/sword fighting.

the prophetic hero

you die saving the world, as you were always supposed to. peace comes only with your blood. the world will remember you for centuries. they will write poems, create art, and film movies all about you. no one will remember what you were before your death. maybe you don't even know it either. you have spent so long saving the world time after time that there is nothing left of you except the heroism. you die never knowing love.
