The new Valkyrie Spider, unveiled today at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, is a thrilling next-step in the progression of the Aston Martin Valkyrie bloodline. It promises an even more intense experience. One shaped by the unbeatable sensory stimulus that comes with roof-off driving in one of the world’s most extreme hypercars. One that delivers the most comparable experience to that of an F1 car, not limited to the track.
The pursuit of open-top luxury comes with the challenge of ensuring the core experience remains true to Aston Martin and Adrian Newey’s exacting performance objectives for the original Aston Martin Valkyrie program. As these positioned Valkyrie at the very cutting-edge of hypercar design and engineering it means the Valkyire Spider has benefitted from unique engineering solutions born from the combined talents of Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT).
While the Valkyrie’s unique 1155PS hybrid V12 powertrain remains unchanged, the Spider has received revisions to its carbon fiber structure, plus recalibration of both the active aerodynamic and active chassis systems. All with an eye to maintaining optimal Valkyrie performance when driven in a roof-off condition.
Key to Valkyrie Spider’s unprecedented performance is the ultra-lightweight construction and high downforce aerodynamics package. The upper body surfaces of the teardrop-shaped cockpit and lower tub contours follow the envelope of space available between the huge full-length Venturi tunnels that run either side of the cockpit floor. Drawing huge quantities of air beneath the car to feed the rear diffuser, these tunnels are the key to generating Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider’s extraordinary levels of downforce - >1400kg at 240km/h in track mode - while keeping the upper body surfaces free from additional aerodynamic devices that would spoil the purity of the open-top styling.
By following the same exacting Valkyrie ethos, and with just a marginal weight difference to the Coupe, Valkyrie Spider remains a quintessential package of efficient and lightweight solutions. Capable of achieving a vMAX of 330km/h+ with the roof removed (350km/h+ with roof on), its the fastest and most extreme open-top, road-legal Aston Martin ever built. Delivering LMP1 levels of performance, Valkyrie Spider is simulated to set impressive lap times, not normally achievable in a road-going car.
The same driver focused cabin sits at the heart of Valkyrie Spider. F1® inspired low hip-to-heel height and near-central seat positioning, along with a 6-point safety harness to keep the occupants safely in the car. A center rear-view camera system along with front and rear parking sensors will aid the driver at both high and low speeds, with displays sitting just above the Instrument Panel.
Valkyrie Spider features a bespoke, removable lightweight roof comprising of a carbon fibre central panel, latching onto the tub at the rear and to the windscreen surround at the front, along with a pair of polycarbonate roof windows, hinged on either side. On opening the doors, the roof can simply be lifted off and stowed away. Modifications to the carbon fiber tub have been made to support the removable roof panels and the luxury open-top layout, as well as new doors. The now front-hinged dihedral doors, which are unique to Valkyrie Spider, have been redesigned to tilt forwards.

Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer, Adrian Newey said: “Right from the very beginning of the Aston Martin Valkyrie project we were driven by exacting targets that went way beyond any previous road car and the Valkyrie Spider brings that same ethos to the open cockpit hypercar category. What you see is a simple removable roof panel, but the challenge of remaining true to the Valkyrie concept was anything but. Maintaining aerodynamic performance with the roof removed was of paramount importance, likewise keeping any unavoidable weight gains to an absolute minimum whilst maximizing enjoyment for the driver.”

House II, Cambridge MA
Architect Kyu Sung Woo designed House II for his wife, a concert pianist, and himself: a couple in their late seventies who are still active, but starting to think about their changing needs. It is located on a small street in West Cambridge, next door to the home they built 30 years ago (House I) where they raised their two children.
House I was built behind a small, existing house to retain the character and scale of the street. The interior was organized vertically around an atrium, reflecting a courtyard typology prevalent in the architect’s native Korea. It is by nature an introverted building, situated behind the original farmhouse, and nestled into the property with privacy in mind.
House II has a narrow volume on the street side, which widens in the back, presenting a sleek, public facade while still maintaining a slim profile. The angle of the roof reflects the sloping topography of the site and the diagonal wooden truss in its framing introduces triangular geometry that is echoed repeatedly throughout the house.
It is designed to create a connection with nature, with full walls of glass on the ground floor, a large patio, and siting that maximizes garden space. Exterior materials were chosen for ease of maintenance as well as freedom of composition: large, fiber cement panels on the public-facing sides create shingles that form geometric patterns and provide depth and shadows; corrugated metal is used for utility on the back sides; and wood on the deck, fence and lower level of the house provides warmth and durability.
The core of the interior is an open staircase and elevator to ensure accessibility in case of problems with mobility as the couple ages. This core creates three fully distinct levels; local areas that are connected spatially by high, skylit volumes.
The first floor living space is organized with a work/dining area in the central space opening up to the garden and deck with expansive glass walls. The piano sits in the corner to allow for performances accommodating up to 30 guests. Sliding pocket doors near the kitchen and entryway allow the space to transform for different occasions and ambiance.
The upper level features a work/living area in the front of the house, marked by a large corner window which provides a connection to the street. The master suite is located in the back, connected by an accessible bathroom to the front area, allowing for flexibility in case they need to rearrange sleeping arrangements.
The lower level features a guest bedroom, living area and expansive studio space connected spatially by triangular skylights to the main level and opening directly onto the garden.
The garden is designed by Michael van Valkenburg, with planting focused on maximizing seasonal effects, with leaves and blooms providing color year-round. There is access from both the ground floor and lower levels, with sloping steps and a circular path connecting them, punctuated by a 10’x12’ schist panel landing terrace.

I have a prediction to make based on aggregate Twitter news stories presented over the past two weeks of so, the tweets are very subtle, small indicators buried within other terror command stories.
The Prediction:
Joe Biden will be killed off, Kamala Harris will become US President. That will happen before 2022, is looking like a airplane crash, so, could be any kind of thing where wings, or air, or jet, or some other connecting dot to an airplane or a part of one, or characteristics of flight, Bernoulli, Vector, Doppler or French Curve, the latter being of most concern.
The thing that puts this prediction into a place that I felt I want to say so, is two Tweets featuring Second Husband Doug Emhoff standing at the Washington Monument Reflecting Pool where there is a Art Installation called “Shattered Glass” and is a portrait of Ms. Harris on the left side of a two-piece glass framed structure there at the Reflection Pool. Had I not seen those two Tweets, I would not be making this prediction where it appears to me as the SAG/Britain/Vatican plan includes that Kamala Harris will become President by virtue of a Two-Piece Biden.
I cannot possibly piece this one together to spell it out more clearly, it’s too complex, too sophisticated terror comm, is presented on Twitter from major news media Verified Accounts.

The “nurse” who handed me the container for the Urine Sample was a  woman with dark shoulder length wavy hair, white, about 45 years old, about 5′ 5″, about 190 - 200 lbs. She lunged at me from the other side of the back office nurse station after I commented about why she had signed my name on some documents, and she explained that she thought my hand had been cut when I grabbed the sword that had come through the wall in Exam Room #2, from Exam Room #3, and that was the reason she signed my name on the documents there. That gal was stuck in the throat with a fingernail clipper in defense when she began to climb over the counter top towards me, as she thought I had been injured with Paul Leppert’s sword.
Then, as I closed the door to the rest room, an arrow/bolt shot from a cross-bow grazed past me and lodged into the wall above the sink near the hand towel dispenser in the foremost of the two restrooms there. I returned the arrow/bolt to the nurse counter, rather than keep it as evidence because the arrows are fitted with listening devices inside of the shaft, so, keeping one of those only causes more problems later on. You have to leave the arrow/bolts where you find them, I already learned that the hard way.

Since the communication problems have not been repaired, are still Spaghetti Phone Lines, and have been for as long as I can remember, I can only assume that the account number change that ALL of the Centurylink customers were subject to is all about some kind of extra special foolery that Centurylink is doing for the purpose of faking out investigative people, and to continue the advance of Global Domination Under the Cross to which end Centurylink is a major part of, nearly equal to Pacific Power Corporation in size and scope of the offensive usefulness they serve on the US Population.

nothing says “send me a custom tailor” quite like a professional Football Player on Game Day at the Big Show with luggage and a suit that does not fit.
These assholes all know what is really going on at the stadium, where a walk up to the concessions stand is a one way trip for the fans at the game, and that is if the fan makes it into the stadium alive.
There is a “Grey Area” built into most of the sports stadiums. The fans come in a little early, they have to show their ticket, but not give it to anyone, then the fans come in to to the stadium after showing that they have a ticket. Then, after a few dozen fans are inside, there is another place within the stadium, is like a bottleneck, could be a number of doors that there are there between the entrance, and the seating area, a place where you give your seating ticket to an usher. That place, will suddenly close, all the doors shut, at the same time, the people at the entrance where you show your ticket, they stop letting people into the stadium for about ten minutes. So, there comes a time when some fans are inside, and no other fans are coming in, the doors at the usher close, and in that “Grey Area”, there are people with trash cans, with motorized “John Deer Mule” style carts, there are people with other kind of “Laundry Carts” made with a fabric bag, are big. Those people with the carts are there, and the fans are told to line up at the correct Usher door for their seating ticket, then, “Last in Line” happens.
There are “Handlers” and there are terror soldiers w/swords.
The handlers remind the swordsmen: “Just hold your sword horizontally, and move forward, that’s all you have to do, just hold your sword horizontally and move forward, no one will bother you, we have you protected, so just hold your sword horizontally and move forward.”
They are “The Last In Line” at the Usher door in the Grey Area between the entrance to the stadium, and the seating area, where there is a bottleneck built in to the attack zone.
So, on command, the swordsmen simply hold the sword horizontally, and move forward toward the Usher door, right through about twenty to thirty fans at each door, typically there are about six doors wide in each Usher Area. There may be a temporary team that goes back to the victims home after the game, so that Nancy Sinatra can have time to cast the right people into the long term role of the US Citizen Football Fan who went to the SuperBowl.
Those people with the carts who do the immediate clean up, all take everything away, and another crew has water hoses, to spray the concrete to clean away any spilled blood.
All of that at the Usher Door Bottleneck takes only ten minutes or less. The kill happens as there is a person at the Usher Door announcing some rules, saying some things that require the victims to look closely at their tickets, and that is when the “Last In Line” hold their swords horizontally, and move forward.
The place is fogged with nitrous oxide to prime the victims, and with Medazolam to prevent any witnesses from remembering what they saw at the game.
Happens at music shows, sports, theaters, anywhere that has a built in “Grey Area” between the entrance and the seating area.
They take Three Percent of the population at the event, then process what they took, and find the replacements who take the place of the victims, and Vote for the Shills that are put on the ballots by the people who arrange the Three Percent Taking, Screen Actor Guild members.

I am going to explain a terror attack scenario here that is exemplary of how mass murder is done in the day time, at a shopping center, with many people all around, during regular business hours, inside the store, or outside, or anywhere:
This one is called: “Devour”.
The scenario requires a fairly large group of fake shoppers, who are terror soldiers working together to kill a single marked person at a store, that group of 5 to 8 soldiers also require that there is backup and support from other terror operatives at the store, typically some inventory carts loaded with merchandise is all that is required for the backup and there is also a “Clean up on Isle 5″ someone with a mop & bucket of water there ready to clean up a mess.
All it is, is to make sure the mark is occupied with reading a label, or is interested in something that is right in front of them. Then, that group of 5 to 8 terror soldiers moves in and surrounds the victim, while inventory carts are rolled into place to block any one from seeing what is about to happen.
That group uses a sword to kill the victim, they all have a backpack, typically one of them will have a big blanket of a pancho sort of clothing. They cut the victim up, four limbs, head, torso. Each one of the group quickly and smoothly puts the body parts into the backpacks, and that pancho is used to wrap the victims torso, and they all walk away together in a huddled group, same as they were before the attack happened. It takes about 90 seconds to do once the victim is surrounded by the group.
I have seen that happen at the Walmart self checkout and in the school supplies aisles at times when the store was crowded with people.
One thing that happens, is the victim is alone, but when that attack group swarms around the victim, the group plays as though the victim is part of their group, so, anything that the victim says, is considered to have been directed at the group that is devouring them.
I think they also call that one: “no you see it, now you don‘t” because it’s as if the victim vanished into thin air if you happen to see that, and were paying attention to details.
In the day time, during regular business hours at crowded store, Used to happen often, now, there are no more victims to devour like that.

Local conditions are cold, no wind, clear sky,
There have been terror soldiers hovering around my house all day. One was on the front porch early at about noon, others have been in the back part of 520 Jackpine at intervals. The one on the porch knocked over small statue I have near the door. They have been blowing the gas that makes my leg swell up, and makes the rash worse today.
There are yet more different terror soldiers at the Offensive Monroe Trailer, and those are part of a new different group who are at Chartrand 376 Jackpine.
I think one of the terror soldiers who was killed last night was one named Gene, or Genie.
The Chapman county courts terror cell is still dark, no lights on at all.
Freeberg terror air force “Air Support” terror cell is showing signs of a new occupant there, I suspect there are people from In-n-Out Burger terror cell there judging by activity I witnessed at the In-n-Out Burger on Wednesday afternoon.
Strong terror cell is always active, no one really lives there any more, it’s like the 520 Jackpine address, and the “Donkey George” terror cell next to Chapman‘s, they have all been converted to attack houses, previous terror cell occupants all are dead, been dead, so, other terror cells come, stay at those residences, and make arrangements to do an attack at my house, Chartrand is also the same way. I suspect nearly all of the Jackpine residences have all been converted to what is called a “SAG House”, is a house that is used mostly for SAGClubMed Junket activities, a hide-a-way sort of place where SAG members can stay while on Heroin Mass Murder Fest, mostly in the spring and summer months. These people at the local Jackpine and Russell Road properties are all Canadian terror soldiers though, I don‘t see any evidence of any SAG there the past week or two, maybe longer. There is one exception, where I did notice some SAG Musician style activity this week, it’s difficult to know who is who when they all where disguises and electronic camouflage suits.
no one cares enough to send any help, so it does not matter. If there were dark skinned people with beards and back packs, all of the worlds militaries would be here to kill them, but that is not the brand of terror that is here. These terrorists are white people from Hollywood and from Canada, no one is interested in that brand of murderous treasonous bastards.

Japan & Japanese through my eyes........
I wish to give you a brief background of my association with Japan & Japanese. It began in 1975 when I worked for Engineers India Ltd. in New Delhi. I was part of a project management team to look after a petrochemical project called “Acrylic Fiber” at IPCL, Baroda. The process technology came from Asahi Chemical and Front-End Engineering was carried out by Kobe Steel. They had deputed a full time Japanese at EIL office.
Next association was in 1980-81 when I took a field engineer job withToyo Engineering at Basra, Iraq. For about 15 months, my immediate bosses were Japanese, though there were many Indians on site.
My close and strong association was from 1984 to 87 when I was a project manager and managed a collaboration with Chiyoda Corporation of Japan to execute an EPC project at NFL, Guna.
I along with my family moved to Yokohama, as Chiyoda Corp. offered me a direct employment. My office and my daughter’s school were also in Yokohama.
I again had a chance to work with Japanese when Chiyoda set up a joint venture with L&T called L&T –Chiyoda at Baroda in the 90’s.
Lastly, I was asked to manage Chiyoda’s liaison office at Bangalore for two years in 2012-14.
I will segregate my observations in two parts- one from the people and another from the country. Most people know of the punctuality of Japanese and discipline at workplace Hence, I will not dwell on these.
Most Japanese are concerned and sensitive of the discomfort or needs of fellow person. You can see that a Japanese not only picks up used plates and tray with trash in a McDonald’s but also wipes the table. You observe that a mother carries two types of napkins – one wet and another dry- when she takes her kid(s) out to play in the public garden. She cleans the child’s dirty hands with wet and then with clean napkin so that it does not dirty the rails or seats of the garden. Even in 90’s I saw Japanese wearing mask when they suffered from cough and cold. It was a common sight to see the dog owner carrying a paper bag and some broom to pick up poop.
Japanese people do not commit petty crimes or cheat which makes life so stress free and safe. My wife used to leave the apartment door open to go shopping nearby for 30 to 45 minutes. She learnt of this practice from neighbours. Initially we used to keep the money in our palm and the shop keeper would take the appropriate amount. All the shops-small or big – always charged us the VAT, whether we wanted a receipt of not. First time in my life I was offered a printed receipt of fare charged by a metered taxi without asking.
Japanese introduced us to see the beauty in the nature. The first time in our life we went to the mountains to see the autumn colours. There were conducted tours for local people to come to the mountains and soak in the beauty of the shades of colours from green to golden. We were also witness to the fire which is light up to dry leaves/grass on the mountain sides. The fire is light and controlled to spread in artistic way and you watch it from across the valley. Another experience was of hot (sulfur) springs in the mountains near Tokyo (Hakone). Our company guesthouse had a huge pond kind of hot water spot where natural spring was brought in. We soaked in this pond in the Japanese way-no clothes and separate areas for women and men. In five-star resorts, one could soak in the hot spring and sip from a glass of beer.
Japanese were also very health conscious. Our office had an indoor all weather Olympic size swimming pool and full-fledged gym with an instructor. Some of my colleagues were using this during lunch time before eating lunch. I used the facility on weekends. I went to a gym first time in my life and swam when there was almost zero-degree centigrade ambient temperature outside.
Japanese also retained some of “Indian” habits which may have reached them through Buddhism. Outdoor footwear cannot be used indoor whether in the residence or Japanese restaurants. We must leave outdoor footwear at the door and use in house slippers to go in. Most Japanese prefer to sit cross legged and ladies in Vajrasan. They do not shake hands or hug when the meet but bow and greet. Most prefer to sleep on the ground on a mattress rather than a western bed.
Japanese also have found ways to de-stress after an incredibly stressful office or factory workday. Karaoke bars are popular and now world famous. The normal bars without karaoke are also popular. They had huge halls with “ball” machines when they play a special game with stakes to lose or win, like what we played as a child. They also enjoy comics and there are comics to entertain all age groups.
Japan as a country is different from India. India is heterogeneous whereas Japan was homogeneous. This one feature made a lot of difference. They had only ten public holidays every year. Japanese was the main language for locals and it was developed to ensure that students get the latest information also. Japanese language also brings a very peculiar character to the people. The language has three alphabets-Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Kanji has no letters but only Chinese characters/pictures. There are over few thousand kanjis and a child takes more than 8 yrs to know them all though only a few hundred Kanji is extensively used. To write Kanji one must be precise and take care of the different strokes. This focus on details and accuracy is reflected in everything they do in my opinion.
The police in Japan were extremely helpful and friendly. On two occasions I got their help. Once I was lost in the central Tokyo area and I went to the police station. The policeman there came with me to show me the address. On another occasion, my family and me went to meet my friend but my Casio watch, which had his telephone no. ran out of battery and I was lost. I again went to police station near the rail station. He permitted to call my office to find out the contact no. of my friend (office colleague) but the office security refused. Then he opened the area map with names of the residents, and we located two Tanaka-san. I dialed the first one and fortunately he was my friend. In India, such help was unthinkable, going to the Police station for common man for help is a far cry!
I came across some interesting leave/holidays rule. Most Japanese joined a company for a lifetime and the company was expected to take care of the individual. After about 20 yrs. of service (mid-way I guess) the employee get paid leave (about 6 weeks) and a huge payment (app. one year salary). He is expected to enjoy with his family and many of colleagues went to Europe, USA or Latin America for two to three weeks with family.
I was happily surprised that most school students including my daughter walked to the school. My daughter walked about 20 minutes each way, there were volunteers on the route to guide the school kids. No school bus or parents driving to drop or pick-up kids.
For common people, the basic unwritten rule was- provide goods and services which are high quality and reliable. All public phones (as the world was not exposed to internet or mobile phones at the time) were in working order with coins or prepaid cards for both domestic and international calls. Such phones were plenty and located at all convenient locations like rail stations, supermarkets and including lift lobbies in office buildings. ATM rooms of banks had ATM machines for withdrawal and transfer facility. There were two other machines-passbook printing and change dispensing. ATM rooms were open 24x7. Japan was most known for vending machines- variety and exceptionally reliable. Vending machines would dispense soft drinks, beer, hot and cold coffee, tea, small snacks packets etc. These machines would not be out of stock and returned change.
Japan acts in unison for trade/commerce without side world. Immediately after WWII, their economy was shattered but soon they got on their feet. The five trade houses –Sumitomo, Mitsui, Marubeni, C Itoh and Mitsubishi- were the marketing agents for both import and export. The manufacturers were concentrating on design, engineering, and quality products. This brought down costs. The trade houses would bring enquiries and orders. They will also take care of payments. Each manufacturer will join a trade house so that there is no competition among the trade houses.
As a country, I saw Japan converting research output in other countries to application/products for common use. The classic example was digital watch from Texas Instrument to Casio. Another could be Video players. Even some collaborations were made successful and eventually did better than the collaborators. The classic example is of Toyota Car Co which had started with GM collaboration 1950s.
In all the efforts of private sector in commerce the Govt played a particularly important and positive role. The banks were ready to help exporters/vendors with five-month credit as L/C or other kind of payments after shipment may take 3 months.
